Abstract

Libraries are essential in educating people about sustainability and environmental issues, particularly in preserving East Belitung's mangrove ecosystems. The goal of this study is to determine how the Mangrove Literacy House Library, which the Peat and Mangrove Restoration Agency established in collaboration with the Environmental Council of Muhammadiyah Central Executive, has changed into a library that emphasizes social inclusion in the areas of environment and sustainability, particularly concerning the preservation of mangrove ecosystems. This qualitative descriptive study data is gathered through interviews, observation, and documentation and is then analyzed using Miles and Huberman's models. The findings of this study demonstrated that the RLM library works in partnership with the Sayang Kampong Farmers Group to increase public awareness of environmental issues and sustainability, particularly concerning the preservation of the mangrove ecosystems of East Belitung. Through this partnership, students learn about the environment and sustainability through reading activities at the RLM Library and hands-on experiences at the Sayang Kampong Farmers Group. Students can even put their knowledge of mangrove ecosystems they have learned about in the RLM Library into practice for the Sayang Kampong Farmers Group, making the RLM Library a library based on social inclusion in the environment and sustainability.

Abstract

Knowing the connection between company’s success factor from knowledge management will be a great finding for other companies. The purpose of this research is to analyze how companies implement Knowledge Management (KM) based on the four KM lifecycles by Bukowitz and Williams The data comes from any scientific paper about the implementation of KM in companies in Southeast Asia from 2016 until 2022. This research utilized Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the PICOC methodology. This systematic literature review observes and identifies the KM implementation through the KM lifecycle. KM lifecycle consists of four cycles: get, use, learn, and contribute. The get stage consists of three main modes of implementation: company ways of seeking information to decide, company ways of seeking information to solve a problem, and company ways of seeking information to innovate. The use stage consists of two main modes of implementation: company ways of combining information in new/different ways and company ways of combining information in exciting practices. The learning stage consists of one primary mode of implementation: company ways of learning from experiences to create a competitive gain. The contribute stage consists of one primary mode of implementation: employee ways of dispatching their knowledge to the communal knowledge base.

Abstract

The IPB Museum, located on the Darmaga Campus of IPB University, serves as a platform to showcase its rich history, developments, and future aspirations. University museums are vital institutions, embracing innovation and fostering communities of knowledge. Previous research emphasizes the impact of visitor experience on satisfaction and loyalty, highlighting the advantages of interactive technologies in museums for improved engagement and education. Evaluating technology's impact is crucial, and this study utilizes The Museum Tourism Experience and Experiential Value questionnaire to provide a baseline measurement and benchmark for future interventions, enabling a comprehensive evaluation of technology's impact on visitor experiences and satisfaction. In this study, 103 undergraduate students from the User Experience Design Course were invited to visit the IPB Museum to assess their experience using The Museum Tourism Experience and Experiential Value (MTEEV) questionnaire, which evaluates five aspects of the visitor experience. The students completed the questionnaire both before and after their visit, aiming to measure the impact of the museum visit on their perception and evaluate the effectiveness of the IPB Museum. The museum received lower ratings in visual appeal, entertainment, escapism, willingness to pay more, and imaginary vividness compared to visitors' past experiences, indicating potential areas for improvement to enhance the overall visitor experience. Lastly, we present our participatory strategy using MBKM and the capstone program to improve the museum experience.

Abstract

The Indonesia Museum of Health and Medicine (iMuseum), since 2019, has been carrying out the Growth and Development Module Integration Practicum for medical students. This practicum integrates basic medical science (Embryology) and clinical (Children's Health) within the scope of human development, from conception to adulthood. To assess the success of the program, an evaluation of student satisfaction questionnaire data has been carried out on the implementation of the 2020-2022 practicum in a cross-sectional manner. A total of 449 respondent data were successfully processed, consisting of FKUI internal (n=308) and external (n=141) student data. Overall, students have good satisfaction, (3.79; SD 0.36). External students have higher satisfaction (3.87; SD 0.23) compared to internal students (3.78; SD 0.32); independent-t test; t=3.395 (t>1.96); p=0.001 (p<0.05). However, this satisfaction score is not correlated with the value post-test (data for the External group 1; Spearman's test p=0.412 [p>0.05]; rs=0.102). Mark post-test the average reached the number A, namely 86.08 (SD 7.77). It was concluded that the Growth and Development Module Integration Practicum has provided satisfaction to medical students properly.
