Abstract

Essentially, instruction is an activity that is carried out by educators in a programmed way so that learners are able to learn actively. Instructional process is implemented to develop learners’ creativity. Problems faced by educators in teaching and learning process still revolves around the use of traditional methods that have already gone. The teaching and learning process still places the learner as an object of study, whereas, it should be based on learner-centered. To overcome the problems faced in the instructional process, there are several instructional models, environmental learning model, school learning, individual, and classical learning models. Those instructional models can be applied essentially according to the situation, condition, and material taught in the instructional process.

Abstract

Human being is not perfect creature. He has a lot limitation and some needs in his life. In full feel his need, man creates civilization is becoming more and more progressive. In creating civilization causes of full feel his need. Human being is guided by almighty God through Alquran. Therefore, the man gets civilization must implicate the balance between world and hereafter.

Abstract

In its history, the development of Islamic education closely related to the financing. The financing sources of this institu-tion are not only from government, but also from itself supporting earning mainly from students or other shapes of educational economic activities. The donation institution is one of these economic activity that can decrease the ignorance and retardation by education and development of sciences. That donation institution plays important role in developing Islamic education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk pelaksanaan evaluasi ber­ban­tuan komputer atau computer based testing (CBT) sesuai kriteria kelayakan media dan materi melalui validasi beberapa ahli dan uji coba produk. Model penelitian pengembangan ini adalah model prosedural dengan subjek penelitian 4 respon­den yang terdiri dari dua orang validator ahli media dan dua orang validator ahli materi dan 1 orang guru. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi, format penilaian dengan kriteria yang meliputi penilaian aspek isi materi berupa tes pilihan ganda dan penilaian aspek media. Angket diguna­kan dalam pelaksanaan uji coba untuk melihat kemudahan bagi subjek coba meng­gu­na­kan produk CBT. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif untuk menge­ta­hui kualitas produk CBT. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa produk CBT berada pada kategori sangat  baik (89%), untuk aspek ini termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, dan dari aspek media termasuk kategori juga sangat baik. Hasil analisis berdasarkan uji coba produk juga berada pada kategori sangat baik. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa produk CBT ini layak digunakan sebagai media alternatif untuk memecahkan permasalahan pelaksa­naan evaluasi pem­be­lajaran.Abstract: This research aimed at creating a product for conducting evaluation using com­puter or it is called computer based testing (CBT). It was made based on the appropriate characteristics of media and material, and was validated by some experts and by conducting a product trial. The model of this developmental research was a procedural model with 4 respondent, two experts of media validator, two experts of material validator, and one teacher. The instruments used in this research were documentation, evaluation  format with the chriteria consisted of material content assessment in the form of multiple choice and assessment of media aspect. The questionnaire used in the trial is to see the easiness of the subjek to use CBT product. The data were analized quatitatively descriptive to find out the quality of the CBT product. The result showed that the CBT product was at the level of very good cathegory (89%), and the media aspect was also in the very good cathegory. The result of the  analysis on the product trial showed that CBT product was appropriate to be used as an alternatif media to solve the problem of conducting learning evaluation.

Abstract

The budget of education which has been promoted for an increase would be a reality. The importance of qualified education has been explicitly expressed in the National Constitution, and an increase of educational budget may positively be associated with the quality of education. The remaining problem is the high cost of education particularly for the bottom and middle economic class. Basically, an increase of educational budget would help the com-munity to get access to low cost education easily. Therefore, there must be a political will by the government and the parliament to wisely allocate the budget. In addition, the community and all other stakeholders of educational institutions should control and direct the budget to the right way to achieve qualified education evenly.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengorgani­sa­si­an dan mutu pen­di­dik­andi SD In­pres Bangkala II Kota Makassar, dan untuk mengetahui pe­nga­ruh pengorganisasian terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan di sekolah ter­sebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pen­de­kat­an kuantitatif dengan metode expost fac­to. Sampelnya adalah 17 tenaga pendidik dan ke­pendidikan dari SD Inpres Bang­kala II Kota Makassar. Data diperoleh melalui instrumen angket dan do­ku­mentasi, dan dianali­sis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Ha­sil pe­nelitian menunjukkan bahwa peng­or­ganisasian di SD Inpres Bangkala II Ko­ta Makassar menunjukkan hasil yang belum maksimal atau berada pada ka­te­go­ri rendah (58,82%) dan mutu pendidikan menunjukkan hasil yang baik yang ber­­ada pada kategori sedang (100%). Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan peng­or­ga­ni­sa­sian berpengaruh terhadap pe­ning­katan mutu pendidikan sebesar 50%. Ini ber­ar­ti bahwa mu­tu pendidikan ditentukan oleh faktor lain. Faktor-faktor tersebut ada­lah pe­rencanaan, pelaksanaan dan faktor evaluasi pembelajaran.Abstract:This research aims at knowing the description of the organizationality and the quality of edu­cation in the elementary school of Inpres Bangkala II Makassar and knowing the effect of organizationality toward the education quality im­prove­ment in the school. This research was a quantitative approach using expost facto method. The sam­ple was 17 teachers from the elementary school of Inpres Bang­ka­la II Makas­sar. The data were collected using a questionnaire and docu­men­tation, and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of the research showed that the organizational structure of the school was in the low category (52,82%) and the quality of education was in the medium category (100%). The result of reg­res­sion analysis showed that the organizational structure influenced the educational quality improvement of the school with 50% con­tribution. This means that the qua­lity of education of that school was determined by other factors. Those fac­tors were planning, implementation and evaluation.

Abstract

Every individual has the potential to be creative. Creativity is more than the use of someone’s imagination. This is a lifestyle, personality characteristic, and ways of understanding the world.Creativity depends on two main factors namely here-dity (nature) and the influence of environment (nurture). To support the develop-ment of this students’ creative potential, there is a need for an instructional design that facilitate the active participation of students in explorating their potential, trying out, examining, hypothesizing, and finding out a new creative idea. Be-sides, instructors should develop openness and respecting students thinking. Do-ing this is a way to respond tothedemand of the era.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul biologi berbasis pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) yang valid, efektif, dan praktis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) yang mengacu pada model pengembangan 4-D atau model Thiagarajan yang dimodifikasi menjadi model 3-D, yakni tahap define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan), dan develop (pengembangan). Subjek uji coba dari penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Bajeng Barat. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data dibagi atas 3 yaitu instrumen uji kevalidan berupa lembar validasi, instrumen uji kepraktisan berupa angket respon peserta didik, dan instrumen uji keefektifan berupa tes hasil belajar. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif (mix method). Berdasarkan data uji coba kevalidan modul yang direvisi sebanyak 3 kali, modul memenuhi kategori valid dengan skor rata-rata 3.39, untuk uji coba kepraktisan modul diperoleh nilai rata-rata 3.57 termasuk kategori sangat praktis dan setelah  dilakukan uji coba keefektifan modul  memenuhi kategori efektif untuk digunakan dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata 80.62, dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas dalam proses pembelajaran adalah 28 orang atau sekitar 87.5 % sedangkan yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 4 orang atau sekitar 12.5%. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan masih belum sempurna namun layak untuk digunakan.Abstract:The aims of the research were to develop a valid, effective and practical biology-based Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) module. This research is a research development (Development and Development) which refers to 4-D development model or Thiagarajan model that is modified into 3-D model, ie define, design and develop. The subject of this research is the students of class VII of SMP Negeri 2 Bajeng Barat. The research instrument is divided into 3 namely the validity test instrument in the form of validation sheet, the practicality test instrument in the form of a questionnaire of the learners' response and the effectiveness test instrument in the form of learning test. The data obtained were then analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis (mix method). Based on data of validity test of  3 times revised modules, it shows that the module meets the valid category with the mean score of 3.39, for modality practicality module obtained the mean score of 3.57 which belongs to very practical category and for effectiveness test of the module obtained effective category with the mean score of 80.62, with the total number of students who achieved minimum mastery criterion were 28 people or about 87.5% while 4 of them have not achieved minimum mastery criterion or about 12.5%. This indicates that the module developed is still not perfect, but it is feasible to use.

Abstract

There are some schools in education such as; Pessi-mism, Optimism, Convergence, and Islam has view point that man has potential to be educated (Homo Educandum), the talent and environment constitute two convergence lines strive one focus, that is the man development, besides that as creature who can be educated, the man also needs education in order to develop himself. Because, as human being, man is substantially has capability to know the highest level, at once place them as social creature and cultural one that his growing and developing at culture totally, including education and also as human being, man has rational capability, from rational capability the man can study fro what is seen them. The man with this potential can develop himself as caliph who has some excellences from another creature.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pendidikan yang diterapkan di Indonesia dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, di antaranya adalah kebijakan politik pemerintahan. Kebijakan-kebijakan pemerin-tah, mulai dari pemerintahan kolonial, awal dan pasca kemerdekaan hingga masa Orde Baru terkesan mengabaikan pendidikan Islam. Hal ini menyebabkan lemba-ga pendidikan Islam memiliki banyak kelemahan yang harus diatasi. Kelemahan itu di antaranya rendahnya sumber daya manusia (SDM), manajemen, dan dana. Karenanya, umat Islam belum mampu mengupayakan secara optimal mewujudkan Islam sesuai dengan cita-cita idealnya; dipandang belum mampu mewujud-kan Islam secara transformatif; dan lembaga pendidikan Islam kurang diminati oleh masyarakat. Kelemahan-kelemahan ini akhirnya dapat diatasi berkat perjuangan dan kesabaran umat dan tokoh-tokoh Islam, perhatian pemerintah semakin lama semakin besar sehingga melahirkan berbagai kebijakan dan per-aturan yang membawa pendidikan Islam dan lembaga pendidikan Islam semakin berperan dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan secara umum di Indonesia.Abstract: Education applied in Indonesia is influenced by various factors; among them is the government policy. Government policies, ranging from colonial rule, pre and post-independence until the early New Order period seemed to ignore Islamic education. This leads Islamic educational institutions to have many weaknesses that must be addressed. The weaknesses among them are low in human resource (HR), management, and funds. They have not been able to be optimally pursued according to Islamic ideals, perceived to be not able to put into realization the transformative Islam, and Islamic institutions are less in demand by the public. These weaknesses can be overcome eventually because of the struggle and patience of the people and leaders of Islam, and more attention has been given by the government that produces various policies and regulations that bring Islamic education and Islamic educational institutions to play an increasing role in Indonesian education generally.
