Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap seputar problematika pemanfaatan bu­ku Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di sekolah dasar di Kota Gorontalo dengan meng­gunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Dua sekolah dasar negeri yang dija­di­kan sebagai sasaran penelitian ini dipilih secara purposive terdiri atas satu seko­lah yang terkategori sebagai sekolah unggulan atau berprestasi, dan satu sekolah yang tidak terkategori unggulan atau berprestasi di Kota Gorontalo. Data dikum­pulkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian me­nunjukkan bahwa ketersediaan buku PAI masih sangat terbatas terutama un­tuk pegangan peserta didik baik kurikulum 2013 (K. 13) maupun Kurikulum Ting­­kat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP). Mekanisme pemanfaatan buku PAI ma­sih menggunakan cara klasik yakni dengan metode ceramah dan diskusi ke­lom­pok ser­ta dengan memanfaatkan kelas dan mushalla dalam prak­ti­kum. Ken­­dala lain­nya yang dihadapi khususnya oleh peserta didik dari sisi ma­te­ri ada­lah kesulitan mereka (khususnya kelas 1) pada materi yang menggunakan ba­hasa Arab pada K.13. Sementara tenaga pendidik (guru PAI) masih kesulitan da­lam me­nerapkan K.13 karena belum ada sosialisasi K.13 khusus untuk mata pe­lajaran PAI SD.Abstract:This study aims to reveal about the problematic use of Islamic Education (PAI) book in elementary school in Gorontalo city by using qualitative research method. Two of state primary schools targeted for this study were chosen purposively con­sis­ting of one school categorized as a pre-eminent school or achievement, and one unscientific or outstanding school in the city of Gorontalo. Data were collec­ted through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results in­dicate that the availability of PAI books is still very limited, especially for grip learners both curriculum 2013 (K. 13) and Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP). Mecha­nism of utilization of book of PAI still use classical way that is by lecture method and group discussion and by utilizing class and mushalla in doing practicum. Obstacles encountered especially by learners from the material side are their dif­ficulties (especially class 1) on materials that use Arabic in K.13. Educators (PAI teachers) are also still difficult in applying K.13 because there is no socialization K.13 specifically for subjects PAI SD.

Abstract

Freud considers that motivation source of religion behavior is sexual libido. He also states that religion is illusion, its adherent ails neurosis and childish, even he states that believing in God is useless action which handicaps the development of man per-sonality. Even though, he explains the analysis of super ego, but his opinion has implication which ignores the religion education such as adhered by the Western scholars, especially in 19 century. This case invites critics which asking the validity of Freud’s opinion and it is debated from point of view the use of methodology, philosophical thought by supporting empirical reality, and the content of Freud’s comment about religion.

Abstract

Evaluation is one of the key factors in the field of education, particularly in the process of teaching, due to its function to assess the extent to which the development of students. In practice, evaluation may be done by using test and non-test technique. Observation, the central issue of this paper, is classified as non-test technique. It is an instrument of collecting data by a systematic process of surveillance and note taking on the behavior of students, both individually and collectively. Additionally, observation is considered the most relevant evaluation instrument to access the affective and psychomotor domain of students. One may implement participative, non-participative, and quasi observation. The quality of this instrument is judged based on its validity, which strongly due to the skill, knowledge, and attitude of the observer.

Abstract

Abstrak: Guru adalah suksesi fungsional yang memiliki peranan penting dalam penye­lenggaraan pendidikan. Eksistensi seorang guru tidak hanya sebagai perantara pembelajaran, tetapi kedudukannya sekaligus menjadi penentu keberhasilan capaian tujuan pendidikan. Namun akhir-akhir ini prototipe guru yang semesti­nya digugu dan ditiru, seakan sirna karena adanya perbuatan segelintir guru yang melanggar hukum seperti; pelecehan seksual, sampai kasus penyalahgu­naan narkoba, menunjukkan rendahnya tingkat kesadaran beretika dalam ruang lingkup profesi guru. Meski demikian, pandangan yang mendeskreditkan posisi guru tidak seluruhnya digunakan, mengingat masih banyak figur-figur guru dengan dedikasi tinggi serta integritas kepribadian yang menjunjung nilai-nilai etika profesi.Abstract: Teachers are the functional succession that have an important role in education. The existence of teachers not only as the intermediary of learning, but their position also determine the success of achieving the goal of education. However, lately the prototype of teacher that should be beliefed and imitated as if become vanished because of the act of few unresponsible teachers who breaking the laws such as sexual harrassment, and drug abused which shows the low level of awareness in ethical conduct in the scope of teaching profession. However, it must be understood that this view discredit the position of teachers and must not be applied to all teachers because some of them have shown a high  dedication and personal integrity that uphold the ethical values of professionalism.

Abstract

Science is essentially from Allah swt. He teaches and educates people through His selected person, His Messenger, with perfect teachings for all human beings in order that they can recognize himself and his God. The development of science is in line with the development of thinking and analytical skills of mankind. The trans-formation of knowledge to different people with different language is mainly by the process of translation. Trans-formation of knowledge, especially Islamic education began in a form of khalaqah in mosques or teachers' houses, then developed to be formal education known as madrasah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari hubungan antara belajar mandiri dan motivasi berprestasi dengan hasil belajar pendidikan agama Islam. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Terbuka, yang berinduk di SMP Negeri 55 Tanjung Priok, Jakarta Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei pendekatan statistik dengan uji korelasi. Masalah yang menjadi fokus penelitian adalah (1) apakah terdapat hubungan positif antara belajar mandiri (X1) dengan hasil belajar pendidikan agama Islam (Y)? (2) apakah terdapat hubungan positif antara motivasi berprestasi (X2) dengan hasil belajar pendidikan agama Islam (Y)? (3) apakah terdapat hubungan positif antara belajar mandiri (X1) dan motivasi berprestasi (X2) secara bersama-sama dengan hasil belajar pendidikan agama Islam (Y)?. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) terdapat hubungan positif antara belajar mandiri (X1) dengan hasil belajar pendidikan agama Islam (X1 dan Y = 0.685). 2) Terdapat hubungan positif antara motivasi berprestasi (X2) dengan hasil belajar pendidikan agama Islam (X2 dan Y = 0,631), dan 3) Terdapat hubungan positif antara belajar mandiri (X1) dan motivasi berprestasi (X2) secara bersama-sama dengan hasil belajar pendidikan agama Islam (X1 dan X2 dengan Y = 0,734).

Abstract

Islam came to archipelago (Indonesia) could not be separated from the shades where Islam was born. However, Islam that was brought to Indonesia adapted with the local culture. The process of compounding between Islamization and acculturation, made Islam in the archipelago easily accepted by society. There is no resistance, except reception. If there is a modifications, it is no more than the injection of Islamic values in a tradition that have been there. In its development, the Islamic archipelago with moderate characteristics, local culture appreciation, and taking sides to local residents in facing the challenge, causing Islam was accepted as a new religion. The real proof of the compounds between Islam and local culture, can be found in the work of the Chronicle, saga, lontara, literature, mysticism, mythology. Then, in terms of the architecture of the nineth layered roof buildings of the mosque of Demak "from Meru" in pre-Islam era, later replaced by Sunan Kalijaga to become tree roofs that symbolizes faith, Islam, and Ihsan (good deeds). Salvation culture, the Prophet's birthday, yasinan (qur’anic recitation of Yasin verses, and “sekaten”, are also the real proof of the compound-ing.

Abstract

All individuals wish to get achievement in their activities done, including take formal education institution levels, but their wishes sometimes getting failure and cannot be achieved. There are a lot of students facing some difficulties and they are difficult to overcome them. One of the handicaps is psychological problem, because intrinsically he/she has failure imagination that cannot face the subject or finish his/her task. Bandura states that a construction psychology is called self efficacy. He believes that individual who has self efficacy grow up successful motivation.

Abstract

The study of various methods in the teaching process that supporting the educator to prepare and set achievement process of teaching goal. Teacher, mentor, and facilitator constitute one of the important factors to lead the learners to get better understanding about the material with various ways which have been decided systematically in situation and certain condition. Concerning with, it needs comprehensive understanding to set the use of a method in the teaching process. How variety with method implementation in the teaching process becomes explanation focus in this writing. The understanding and various methods from educational experts with its implementation description presented by hoping can be used to increase the learners’ interest, in order to make easy the goal achieve-ment suitable with subject matter in the teaching process. However, a material is good and complicated, but it is not supported by appro-priate strategy, method, or technique in its presenting will pass by without impression.

Abstract

Abstrak: Dalam konteks pendidikan istilah dualisme dan dikotomi memiliki makna yang sama yaitu pemisahan antara pendidikan umum dari pendidikan agama. Dikotomi selalu melahirkan pandangan pembedaaan di satu sisi dan penyamaaan di sisi yang lain. Pandangan dikotomis pada hakikatnya mengabaikan esensi atau nilai sprit pendidikan. Membedakan dan menyamakan lebih dimaknai pada ta-taran permukaan sehingga jelas merusak nilai spirit dari pendidikan Islam. Dua-lisme dan dikotomi bukan hanya pada tataran pemilahan, tetapi telah masuk pada wilayah pemisahan yang dalam operasionalnya memisahkan mata pelajaran umum dari mata pelajaran agama, sekolah umum dan madrasah yang penge-lolaannya berjalan terpisah-pisah. Puncaknya pada pemerintah Orde Baru yang mengeluarkan melalui Surat Keputusan Bersama (SKB) pada tanggal 24 Maret 1975 yang menguatkan pemisahan itu hingga saat ini. Dampaknya terasa meru-gikan dan makna Islam menjadi sempit karena pengotak-kotakan ilmu akhirnya menomorduakan dan menganaktirikan pendidikan Islam. Sebagai solusi alter-natif harus diikuti upaya integrasi pengetahuan serta reposisi, yaitu cara pandang yang ilmu-ilmu Islam pada posisi yang sebenarnya.Abstract: In the educational context, the term dualism and dichotomy have the same mea-ning, namely the separation between general education and religious education. The terms also mean the separation between education system of Islamic and ge-neral educations. Moreover, talking about Islamic education is often addressed to Islamic institutions. Such perspectives are triggered by dichotomous view on education, differentiate in one side and equate on the other side. Consequently, the spirit value that is integrated into Islamic education is neglected. The terms, currently, have pervaded on the separation of general and Islamic subjects, public and madrasas Institutions, where the management has a policy respectively. The impacts are narrow minded in interpreting Islamic meaning, compartmentaliza-tion in science, and inequality of budgeting between Islamic and general educa-tion institutions. The offered alternative solutions are Islamization of knowledge, integration of science, and reposition of Islamic view, that means returning to the spirit value of Islamic education
