Abstract

Education has been an important medium of deve-loping human civilization. Qualified human resource is, of course, a result of education; one of them is higher education. Higher education, as formal educational institution, should play an important role to answer the need of primary and secondary education, one of them is professional teachers. The fact shows that the alumni of teacher trai-ning higher education are great in number, nevertheless, only a small number of them may be classified as qualified, most need prerequisites before teaching in the classrooms. This paper will deeply discuss the importance of education at the primary and secondary levels, and how the higher educational institutions support these by providing more qualified educators.

Abstract

Abstract: Reform is layered changes that led to the creation of new designs for an order. Educational settings are vital nation order that has not yet reached full reform implementation even if the notice had anomalous orientation after UUSPN endorsed national education. If you listened to, the national educational regulations have changed the paradigm of national learning paradigm to paradigm constructivism forming behavior. Translation is a new way of organizing learning into practice is not easy, requiring a comprehensive conceptual transformation boils down to the micro sector of education, namely the class. The argument is simple, the quality of learning in the classroom indicate the quality of the education system as a whole.Abstrak: Reformasi adalah perubahan berlapis yang berujung pada penciptaan desain baru atas suatu tatanan. Tatanan pendidikan adalah tatanan sangat vital berbangsa yang belum mencapai reformasi utuh bahkan mengalami anomali penyelenggaraan jika memperhatikan orientasi pendidikan nasional setelah UUSPN disahkan. Jika disimak, regulasi pendidikan nasional tersebut telah mengubah paradigma pembelajaran nasional dari paradigma pembentukan perilaku kepada paradigma konstruktifistik. Terjemahan cara baru tersebut ke dalam praktek penyelenggaraan pembelajaran tidaklah mudah, membutuhkan transformasi konseptual yang secara komprehensif bermuara pada sektor mikro pendidikan, yaitu kelas. Argumennya sederhana, kualitas pembelajaran di kelas mengindikasikan kualitas sistem pendidikan secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui realitas pengondisian gelombang otak zona alfa pada apersepsi pembelajaran, mengetahui gambaran motivasi be­lajar Biologi siswa, dan mengetahui pengaruh pengondisian gelombang otak zo­na alfa pada apersepsi pembelajaran terhadap motivasi belajar Biologi siswa kelas XI IPA MAN 3 Makassar. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian Pre Experiment De­sign (Desain Eksperimen Lemah). Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA MAN 3 Makassar tahun pelajaran 2015/2016, yang terdiri atas 4 ke­las dengan jumlah siswa 105 orang. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik pur­posive sampling yang memungkinkan menetapkan sampel dua kelas, yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Ins­tru­men penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi pengondisian gelom­bang otak zona alfa dan skala motivasi belajar siswa model Likert. Teknik analisis da­ta yang digunakan yaitu analisis data statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferen­sial. Hasil penelitian dan analisis data terkait realitas pelaksanaan pengon­disian gelombang otak zona alfa pada apersepsi pembelajaran siswa di kelas eksperimen ada­lah sebesar 100% sesuai pengamatan observer. Gambaran motivasi belajar Bio­logi siswa kelas eksperimen berkategori sangat tinggi sebesar 83,36% dan ka­tegori tinggi sebesar 13,63%. Sedangkan motivasi belajar Biologi siswa kelas kon­trol terdiri atas kategori sangat tinggi sebesar 52,00%, tinggi 32,00%, dan kategori ren­dah 16,00%. Secara keseluruhan menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar Biologi siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol. Hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t dua sampel independen diperoleh nilai -2,06 > t’ > 2,06, di mana t’ = 3,45 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pengondisian gelombang otak zona alfa pada apersepsi pembelajaran terhadap motivasi belajar Biologi siswa.Abstract:The purpose of this research is to know the alpha brain wave conditioning on learning apperception, to know the description of learning motivation of biology of students, and to know the effect of alpha brain wave conditioning on learning apperception on learning motivation of students of science class XI IPA MAN 3 Makassar. This research was Pre Experimental Design. The population of this research was all students of class XI IPA MAN 3 Makassar academic year 2015/2016, consisting of 4 classes with 105 students. Determination of sample using purposive sampling technique that allows to set sample of two classes, that was class XI IPA 1 as control class and class XI IPA 2 as experiment class. The research instrument used was observation sheet of alpha brain wave alpha and student motivation scale of Likert model. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of research and data analysis related to the the implementation of alpha brain wave convergence on the apperception of student learning in the experimental class was 100% based on the observer observation. Biology motivation description of students of ex­peri­men­tal class was categorized very high by 83.36% and high category of 13.63%. While the motivation to learn Biology control class students consisted of very high category of 52.00%, high 32.00%, and low category 16.00%. Overall showed that the motivation to learn Biology of experiment class students was higher than control class. The result of hypothesis test by using t test of two independent samples obtained value -2.06> t '> 2.06, where t' = 3.45. Tehrefore, it can be con­cluded that there was an influence of alpha brain wave conditioning on learning apperception to learning motivation Biology students.

Abstract

The existence of teacher in educational sector is very important, because, the teacher is one of components instructional system which decides educational quality in the future. In teaching learning process, a teacher is demanded to do the instruction effec-tively and efficiently. Therefore, the use of graphic media in becomes a solution in teaching learning process with verbal teaching in the classroom. By using graphic media in teaching learning process can increase the learner interest and attention and it can also make clear the material is presented. It is very simple and easy to make it relatively cheaper. Besides that, it can help the teacher in teaching and learning process in order to help the leaner to study.

Abstract

In practice, some leaders of higher educational institu-tions have not realized the importance of both academic and admi-nistrative staffs' participation in decision making. It is argued that the staff members of higher education learning play a very important role in decision making process. Their participation would contribute more perspectives to produce good decision. It also encourages creativeness and commitment of staff members. These are crucial factors to improve work motivation of staff members in developing their institution and increasing productivity.

Abstract

Abstrak: Belajar dan pembelajaran merupakan dua konsep yang saling berhu­bungan dan tidak dapat dipisahkan. Keduanya merupakan aktivitas utama dalam pendidikan. Belajar dimaknai sebagai proses perubahan perilaku sebagai hasil interaksi individu dengan lingkungannya. Peru­bahan perilaku hasil belajar bersifat kontinyu, fungsional, positif, aktif, dan terarah. Proses perubahan tingkah laku dapat terjadi dalam berbagai kondisi berdasarkan penjelasan dari para ahli pendidikan dan psikologi. Adapun pembelajaran adalah kegiatan yang berproses melalui tahapan perancangan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pembelajaran merupakan usaha yang dilakukan untuk menfasilitasi terjadinya proses belajar pada anak didik. Pembelajaran dimaknai pula sebagai interaksi peserta didik dengan pendidik dan sumber belajar dalam suatu lingkungan belajar. Dengan demikian, efektivitas sebuah proses pembelajaran ditentukan oleh interaksi ketiga komponen tersebut.Abstract: Learning and instruction are the two concepts that are related to each other, and they cannot be separated. Both of them are the main activities in education. Learning is defined as the process of changing behavior as a result of individual interaction with their environment. The changing of behavior is continuous, functional, positive, and directed. The process of changing behavior stimulated in many different conditions based on the explanation from educational and psychological experts. Instruction is defined as the activities processing from planning, implementation, and evaluation. Instruction is the effort to facilitate students’ learning. Instruc­tion is also defined as the interaction of students, educators, and learning resources in a learning environment. Therefore, the effectiveness of ins­truction is determined by the interaction of these three components.

Abstract

This research aims at finding out the correlation between religious and counselling application and the trend of the students of SMAN Makassar to use drug. The data are collected by religious scale, counselling application scale, and the scale of drug abuse. The object of the research consists of 956 of XI year class of SMAN Makassar. The data analysis applies Multiple Regression technique. The findings shows that (1) there is a significant corre-lation between religious application and the use of drug of the students of SMAN Makassar, where p = 0,000. (2) The study did not find any significant correlation between counselling application and drug abuse of the students of SMAN Makassar, where p = 0,055.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran gaya belajar peserta didik yang berprestasi akademik tertinggi dan terendah pada Mahasiswa Keperawatan Uni­versitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar. Jenis penelitian deskriptifdengan pen­dekatan kualitatif. Informan adalah mahasiswa keperawatan yang memiliki pres­tasi akademik tertinggi dan terendah pada setiap angkatan yang berjumlah de­lapan orang, yaitu lima orang mahasiswa berprestasi akademik tertinggi dan ti­ga orang mahasiswa berprestasi akademik terendah. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi berperan serta, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumen. Teknik ana­­lisis data adalah teknik analisis isi (content analysis) dengan melalui tahap pe­ngumpulan, membuat transkrip data, menentukan makna unit, meringkas dan mengorganisir data, melakukan abstraksi data, mengidentifikasi variabel dan hu­bu­ngan atar variabel secara kualitatif dan menarik kesimpulan. Peneliti meng­gu­na­kan uji konfirmabilitas dilakukan dengan pelampiran berbagai data-data yang di­per­oleh saat penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa ke­pe­ra­watan yang berprestasi akademik tertinggi dan terendah masing-masing me­nun­­jukkan kombinasi gaya belajar visual, auditori dan kinestik dengan ke­cen­de­rungan gaya belajar yang berbeda.Abstract:This study aims to provide the description of the learning styles of students with the highest and the lowest academic achievement of Nursing Students of Islamic Alauddin State Islamic University Makassar. This was a qualitative approach. The participants were eight nursing students. Five students who had the highest and three students who had the lowest academic achievement in each academic year. The data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document stu­dies. The technique of data analysis was content analysis, which was done by going through the stages of data collection, creating transcripts of the data, deter­mining the unit meaning, summarizing and organizing the data, performing data abs­traction, identifying variables and the relationship between variables quali­tatively, and drawing a conclusion. The researcher used conformability test which was done by presenting various data obtained at the time of the study. The re­sults of the study showed that the students with the highest and the lowest aca­demic achievement showed a combination of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic with variations.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the professionalism of teachers in im-proving the quality of education in SDN 65 Katteong Pinrang. This study is a qua-litative research, the data was cellected by observation, interview, and documen-tation. The data analysis technique was descriptive (non-statistical). The results of this study were: first, the professionalism of teachers in improving the quality of education in SDN 65 Katteong could be seen from four aspects of competence, namely: pedagogic, personal, social, and professional. Second, supporting factors consist of two factors, namely: internal factors and external factors. While the in-hibiting factors were: many teachers did not concentrate on their profession, the private colleges did not work properly to produce teachers candidate, this made teachers lack of motivation in improving quality of education. Third, teachers strategies to overcome inhibitors, namely: 1) learning at home; 2) studying in the library; 3) performing union of teachers; 4) involving scientific meetings 5) a for-mal learning in educational institutions; 6) participating education professional organizations meeting; and 7) involving in follow scientific competition.

Abstract

Abstrak:Pendidikan sebagai teori berupa pemikiran manusia mengenai masalah-masalah kependidikan dan upaya memecahkannya secara mendasar dan sistematis. Sedangkan pendidikan sebagai praktek merupakan aktivitas manusia mendidik peserta didik untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu yang diidealkan. Profesionalisme merupakan paham yang mengajarkan bahwa setiap pekerjaan harus dilakukan oleh orang yang profesional. Orang yang profesional adalah orang yang memiliki profesi. Dalam Islam, setiap pekerjaan harus dilakukan secara profesional, dalam arti harus dilakukan secara benar. Hal ini hanya mungkin dilakukan oleh orang yang ahlinya. Apapun jenis profesi yang disandang, hendaknya dilakukan dengan profesional. Profesionalisme guru dalam al-Quran sesungguhnya diambilkan dari adanya pendapat mufasir yang memberikan penekanan terhadap makna kata ‘ala makanatikum (pada surat Al-An’am: 135, Hud: 93 dan 121, Al-Zumar: 39) dan kata ‘ala syakilatihi (pada surat Al-Isra: 84). Kedua kata tersebut yakni kata ‘ala makanatikum mempunyai makna tempat, derajat, kedudukan, kemampuan, kekuatan, keadaan seseorang, puncak kemampuan yang dimiliki seseorang, atau keadaan yang tetap atas sesuatu yang terjadi secara terus menerus sepanjang waktu, kekuatan penuh untuk melaksanakan sesuatu. Dari sinilah yang dapat ditarik pemahaman bahwa Al-Quran memberikan isyarat pekerjaan itu harus dilakukan secara profesional. Demikian pula dengan profesi guru harus dilakukan secara profesional.Abstract:Education as a theory is human thinking about the problems of education and efforts to solve it fundamentally and systematically. While education as a practice is a human activity educates learners to achieve certain idealized goals. Professionalism is a teaching that teaches that every job should be done by a professional person. A professional person is a person who has a profession. In Islam, every work must be done professionally; it means it is done rightly. It's only possible done by someone who is an expert. Whatever type of profession is carried, it should be done professionally. The teacher's professionalism in the Quran is actually derived from the opinion of the mufassirs who emphasize the meaning of the word ‘ala makanatikum (Surah al-An'am verse 135, Surah Hud verse 93 and 121, Surah Al-Zumar verse 39) and the word ‘ala syakilatihi (on surah Al-Isra verse 84). Both words mean place, degree, position, ability, strength, people situation, best ability possessed by someone, or a constant situation of something that happens continuously all the time. Therefore, it can be understood that the Koran gives the signal that work must be done professionally. Similarly, the profession of teachers should be done professionally.
