Abstract

Pluralism denotes an acceptance of plurality in the community. Plurality in terms of diversity means that human from different background live together under no circumstances. There are different reasons why diversity occurs. It may because of the way of thinking and the attitude to an object which is due to different life styles. The plural and multicultural concept in Islamic Education is equivalent to the concept of ‘silaturrahim’, which means a mutual respect and love among the creatures regardless of ethnic and religious background. Islamic Education does not only concern the hereafter, but the worldly life as well through integrated education.

Abstract

Abstract: The use of the learning environment in the schools is intended to attract students  attention in instructional materials that is related to the environment. Learning by using environmental approach means that the students acquire knowledge and understanding by observing something in the environment, both in the home and school environment. Learning outcome is a measurement of how far the learning objectives have been achieved, especially in Biology lessons using the school learning environment. The results of research on the use of the environment as a learning resource concluded that it can increase students’ learning outcomes in Biology Class at the seventh grade of Islamic junior high school.Abstrak: Penggunaan lingkungan sekolah dalam pembelajaran dimaksudkan menarik perhatian peserta didik materi yang berhubungan dengan lingkungan. Belajar dengan pendekatan lingkungan berarti peserta didik mendapatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman dengan cara mengamati sendiri apa-apa yang ada di lingkungan sekitar, baik di lingkungan rumah maupun lingkungan sekolah. Hasil belajar adalah ukuran yang menyatakan seberapa jauh tujuan pembelajaran yang telah dicapai khususnya pada pelajaran Biologi dengan menggunakan lingkungan sekolah dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian tentang penggunaan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar disimpulkan dapat peningkatan hasil belajar Biologi siswa Kelas VII MTs.

Abstract

This adult education including schools facing the challenge of globalization, which results insilaisasi komer education. In this era of human tradition to main-tain their existence through education included in its schools received a serious challenge, because education too real for some people used to accumulate tal ca-pitalization and profits. Education used as a commodity and not all people can access it. It is this fact that must be faced by the schools were able to provide the required service quality education at a low cost. Pesantren there was the ins-titution grow and develop in society and become a driving force of community itself, by him that, when the cost of education in schools is expensive or difficult to reach, then schools will alienate them from society.

Abstract

Snapshot of Islamic Education in this country can be explained through the historical reality, starting from developmental era to reformation era nowadays. Therefore, Islamic transformation whether thought aspect or movement, which can be understood clearly through explanation about: the first, innovation science epistemology, which emphasizes on religion science and general science have the same embryo is the unity of God. The second, the modern institution especially high education level relating with real institution condition that Islamic education is subordinate. The third, educational contem- porary issues that including Islamic education generally.

Abstract

Belajar bahasa tidak dapat dipisahkan dari belajar budaya. Tulisan ini memuat tentang orientasi budaya dalam kuriku-lum pengajaran bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa asing di Indonesia, khususnya di tingkat sekolah menengah. Nilai budaya dalam EFL dianggap penting, khususnya bagi pelajar Indonesia, karena bahasa tersebut tidak hanya sebagai mata pelajaran yang harus dikuasai, tetapi juga sebagai refleksi budaya dari sebuah masyarakat di mana bahasa tersebut digunakan. Sejauh ini para pelajar memahami bahwa dengan belajar bahasa Inggris mereka akan dapat berkomunikasi dengan masyarakat dunia. Namun, mereka kurang menyadari bahwa ada alasan yang tidak kalah pentingnya dari hanya sekedar dapat ber-komunikasi, yaitu untuk mengurangi kesalahpahaman yang mungkin terjadi akibat minimnya pengetahuan tentang budaya lawan bicara.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pendidikan Islam menghadapi banyak masalah, di antaranya orientasi nilai ke-agamaan dan pendekatan aplikasi. Orientasi nilai religius didasarkan pada materi Islam yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari tujuan pendidikan islami. Tujuannya adalah menjadi "insan kamil", yang tercerminkan pada pengintegrasian nilai individu dan sosial. Oleh karena itu, orientasi nilai agama di sekolah harus berkisar antara dua belah pihak, "dimensi makhluk" (kesalehan individual) dan "dimensi khalifah" (kesalehan sosial). Untuk menanamkan nilai pendidikan Islam ke anak-anak, dapat ditangani melalui pendekatan-pendekatan berikut ini; stra-tegi tradisional, liberal, pemberian model yang baik (uswah), dan klarifikasi nilai. Penerapan strategi harus disesuaikan dengan perkembangan anak. Terkait deng-an strategi, guru pendidikan Islam harus mempertimbangkan urgensi ketepatan dalam menggunakan nilai klarifikasi. Melalui strategi ini, anak-anak akan dapat memilih, berdialog, membuat pertimbangan, dan menentukan jenis nilai apa yang dipilih. Dengan nilai ini, anak-anak akan memiliki komitmen yang kuat un-tuk menghadapi setiap perubahan kehidupan terutama dalam perubahan sosial.Abstract: Islamic education faces many problems, among them are the religious value orientation and application approach. The religious value orientation is based on Islamic subject matters that cannot be separated from the aim of Islamic education. Its aim is to become a "perpect man", that reflects on the integration of individual and social values. Therefore, the religious value orientation in school must be revolved between the two sides, "Abdullah dimention" (individual religiosity) and "khalifah dimention" (social religiosity). To instill the value of Islamic education to children, it can be handle through the following approaches; traditional strategy, liberal, providing a good model (uswah), and value clarification. To implement these strategies, it must be adjusted to the child's development. Concerning with the strategy, the teacher should consider the urgency of Islam on the use of value clarification. With these strategies, the children will be able to choose, to make a dialogue, to make a consideration, and to determine the type of value to be applied. With this value, the children will have a strong commitment to deal with any change of life, especially in social change.

Abstract

The performance and competence of a teacher has been an important point to discuss due to the fact that it can be a legal aspect in designing and developing performance and competence of teachers. Performance is the extent to which a teacher has achieved in terms of working responsibility, in other word, a teacher’s working achievement. Hence, teachers with high performance are those who master teaching material and the method of teaching. Teacher’s performance can be assessed by three indicators: the mastery of teaching material, teaching management, and working commitment. While the teacher’s competences based on the Constitution number 14/2005 are pedagogic competence, personal, social and professional competence.

Abstract

This research aims at identifying the effect of formative assessment type towards the learning achievement of Natural Sciences. This study applied 2 x 2 factorial design experimental methods. The population of the research was all the fift grade students of elementary school number 03 and 05 of Rawamangun Eastern Jakarta, with 80 students as sample, implementing inferential statistic assessment with ANCOVA. The result of the study showed that (1) having controlled the students' prior knowledge, the learning achievement of Natural Sciences of the group, which was given essay test formative assessment was different from the achievement of those with multiple choice test, (2) having controlled the students' prior knowledge, the learning achievement of Natural Sciences of the group which was given essay test formative assessment was higher than the group in multiple choice test.

Abstract

The main problem in this articles is how alqur’an concept about child education. Alquran is a guidance in every mankind activities, including education. Alquran has given a direction about child education. Child is a gift of God. Child is the most important assets for every family which must be cared, maintained and educated and Alquran has guided about how to educate child. In Alquran, it is found many concepts about education, even the goals, methods, and the content of its education itself.

Abstract

Abstrak:Pembelajaran dapat berjalan efektif jika seluruh komponen yang berpengaruh saling mendukung untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Untuk memperlancar kegiatan belajar mengajar, terutama dalam Pembelajaran Agama Islam (PAI) guru hendaknya mempersiapkan bahan ajar untuk membantu memudahkan peserta didik memahami materi pembelajaran. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan suatu media pembelajaran yang tepat, salah satunya adalah media berbasis Augmented Reality (3D). Augmented Reality (3D) merupakan aplikasi penggabungan dunia nyata dengan dunia maya dalam bentuk dua dimensi maupun tiga dimensi yang diproyeksikan dalam sebuah lingkungan nyata dalam waktu yang bersamaan. Tujuan penggunaan teknologi Augmented Reality dalam model pembelajaran PAI diharapkan dapat membantu guru dalam proses pembelajaran dan juga mampu meningkatkan minat peserta didik dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) yang dirancang oleh Walter Dick dan Lou Carey yang mana akan menghasilkan produk tertentu. Hasil dari penelitian adalah sebuah aplikasi Augmented Reality yang dapat berjalan di dalam smartphone android.Abstract:Learning can work effectively if all the influential components support each other to achieve the learning objectives. To facilitate teaching and learning activities, especially in learning Islamic Religious Learning (PAI) teachers should prepare teaching materials to facilitate students understand learning materials. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an appropriate learning media. One of them is Augmented Reality (3D) based media. Augmented Reality (3D) is a real-world application of integration with the virtual world in the form of two-dimensional and three-dimensional projected in a real environment at the same time. The purpose of using Augmented Reality technology in PAI learning model is expected to assist the teacher in the learning process and also increase the students' interest in joining the learning process. The method used in this study is the research and development method designed by Walter Dick and Lou Carey to produce a particular product. The result of the research is an Augmented Reality application that can run inside android smartphone.
