Abstract

Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan produk mo­del materi ajar semantik sebagai mata kuliah di Program Studi Pendidikan Ba­hasa, Sastra Indo­nesia, dan FKIP Universitas Jambi. Pendekatan penelitian ini ada­lah pengem­bangan R and D (Research and Development). Urgensi penelitian ini, pem­belajar kurang menguasai materi ajar semantik yang telah di ajarkan ditandai dengan rendah nilai yang diperoleh. Kekurangmampuan ini, meng­aki­batkan ti­dak terca­painya visi, misi, dan tujuan yang telah ditetapkan, tidak terpenuhi. De­ngan demikian sangat perlu dilakukan penelitian dan perlu pengembangan ma­teri ajar semantik. Hasil penelitian diperoleh gambaran berupa (1) model teoretik, (2) gam­baran tentang kebutuhan mahasiswa dan dosen pengfajar terhadap mate­ri ajar diperoleh melalui (a) hasil analisis kurikulum, (b) hasil analisis silabus, dan (c)  hasil analisis materi ajar semantik bahasa Indonesia, (3) gambaran silabus dan ma­teri ajar semantik bahasa Indonesia yang telah dikembangkan layak digu­na­kan di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia, sastra Indonesia, dan Fakul­tas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Jambi.Abstract:The purpose of this research was to create a semantik teaching material product as the a course for the Program of Language Education,  Indonesian literure, and FKIP Jambi University. The research approach used was research and deve­lop­ment. The urgency of this research was the fact that students did not master the se­mantic teaching material that had been thought and the low mark obtained by the them. This low ability resulted in not achieving the vision, mission, and the goal that have been stated. Therefore, it is very important to conduct a research and develop semantic teaching material. The result of the research show the des­crip­tion of (1) theoretical mode;(2) the need of the students and lecturer to the tea­ching material obtained from the result of (a) cirriculum anlysis, (b)syllabus ana­lysis,and (c) Indonesian semantic teaching material; (3) the description of syllabus and Indonesia semantic teaching material that has been developed and proved to be appropriate to be used in the Program of Language Education, Sastra Indone­sia, and FKIP Jambi University. Pengembangan,  model materi ajar, semantik bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

Education in the context of taking care of, growing and leading children is derived from the meaning of ‘rab’ (in Arabic). It is mentioned many times in the Qur’an and reflects the nature of the Almighty. The Almighty God is Lord of the world and protects it. The word ‘tarbiyah’ which means ‘education’ is derived from this context. According to the Qur’an, there are different methods can be applied in teaching, such as: being example, building habit action, giving advice and controlling. The content of education, according to the Qur’an, includes Theology, Ethics, the study of religious practices, Physics, Logics, and Sociology.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe (1) the concept of total quality mana-gement, (2) the theoretical foundation of total quality management, and (3) the application of total quality management in Education management study program at the Faculty of Education and Teaching Science, UIN Alauddin Ma-kassar. There are some theoretical bases to support the implementation of TQM in educational institutions. One is the theory of Deming which can be identified from (a) Deming’s chain reaction model, (b) Deming’s continuous improvement cycle, (c) Deming’s theory of Variance, and (d) Deming's fourteen points of management. The application of TQM in Management Studies Program Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Education UIN Alauddin have not maximized. The data indicated that 70.19% respondents said that the implementation of TQM is at a mediocre level, 0.90% respondents said good, and 1.85% respondents said that the implementation of TQM has been very good.

Abstract

Current life reality has indicated the phenomenon of modern human who have distance from their spiritual awareness. This cannot be separated from the role of parents whose primary task to plant religious values in their family members. Families who are aware of the importance of religious education in the life of their children will definitely create persons with strong spiritual defence towards the challanges of modernity. Conversely, otherwise. Parents is the most influential party in the successfull development of children. However, many parent are currently not aware of their significant role in the personality development of their children. Many parent completely entrust the education of their children to particular school institutions without reliable synergy between the educational institutions and parents for the education of children. As the parenting concept is aimed at preparing strong and high quality generation, it is absolutely important for parents to build their self-capacity with parenting education. This is because in Islamic education, the parenting education is closely linked to pre-conception, pre-natal, and post-natal educations. Therefore, parent candidates must have parenting education in order to generate strong and high quality generations.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita koneksi matematik siswa kelas VIII 1 MTs Negeri Model Makassar. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research), yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Tindakan dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dengan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 2 pertemuan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita koneksi matematik. Subyek penelitian sebanyak 40 orang siswa kelas VIII-1 MTsN Model Makassar yaitu siswa perempuan berjumlah 19 dan siswa laki-laki 21 orang, serta objek penelitian yaitu kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita koneksi matematik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, didapatkan hasil; (1) keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran berdasarkan lembar observasi yaitu siklus I terdiri dari dua pertemuan kegiatan siswa berturut-turut yaitu 60% dan 80% dan untuk kegiatan guru berturut-turut adalah 80% dan 90%, serta siklus II terdiri dari dua pertemuan untuk kegiatan siswa berturut-turut adalah 90% dan 100% serta kegiatan guru berturut-turut adalah 100% dan 100%; (2) kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita koneksi matematik yang berhasil dicapai siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle pada siklus I untuk indikator 1, indikator 2 dan indikator 3 berturut-turut ada sebesar 92,5%, 67,5%, dan 20%, serta siklus II banyak siswa yang berhasil mengalami peningkatan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita koneksi matematik yaitu indikator 1, indikator 2, dan indikator 3 berturut-turut ada sebesar 97,5%, 92,5%, dan 80%.Abstract:The study aimed at improving the ability to solve the mathematical connection story problems at class VIII 1 students of MTs Negeri Model Makassar. The study was a classroom action research consisting of 4 stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The actions were carried out in 2 cycles with each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. The data collection was done by observing, documenting, and testing the ability in solving the mathematical connection story problems. The subjects of the study were 40 students of class VIII-1 MTsN Model Makassar namely 19 female and 21 male students. The object of the research was the ability to solve the mathematical connection story problems. Based on the results of the data analysis, it was found out the results: (1) the implementation of the learning model based on the observation sheet in cycle I consisted of two consecutive student activity meetings of 60% and 80% and for teacher activity were 80% and 90, and cycle II consisted of two meetings for the student's successive activities were 90% and 100% as well as teacher activity in a row is 100% and 100%; (2) the ability to solve the mathematical connection story problems of the students using Learning Cycle model in cycle I for indicator 1, indicator 2 and indicator 3 respectively there are 92,5%, 67,5%, and 20%, and cycle II many students who succeeded in improving the ability to solve the problem of mathematical connection for indicator 1, indicator 2, and indicator 3 there were 97,5%, 92,5%, and 80% respectively.

Abstract

In historical study, the woman character constitutes ignoring study. Whereas, the existence of woman always is discussed in some events and some fields, without exception of educational study, even in the classical period until nowadays. But, the woman is merely considered as explanation object. It means it often appears in thought discourse is the women as object thought not as subject thought itself. Therefore, it is worth opening books or scriptures, so that, their indexes are filled with men’s names, moreover, the women’s names are only mentioned if the study talks about woman history. Even though, it does not mean that, there is not woman character appearing and mastering knowledge in some fields. The fields that get attention from woman character namely; Islamic law, poem, and mysticism.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pendidikan anak dan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap tingkat pendidikan anak pada pemukiman kumuh Kota Makassar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah keluarga yang mempunyai anak berpendidikan SD sampai Perguruan Tinggi di Kelurahan Lette Kecamatan Mariso. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan random sampling. Hasil penelitian mene-mukan bahwa tingkat pendidikan orang tua, pendapatan keluarga, dan jumlah anak termasuk dalam kategori rendah. Ketiga hal tersebut merupakan faktor yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap tingkat pendidikan anak.Abstract: This study aims at determining the level of education of children and the factors affecting the level of education of children in the slums area of Makassar. The method used is the survey method. The population of the research is families with children’s education from elementary to university in Kelurahan Lette, Kecamatan Mariso. The sample was taken by using random sampling technique. The study found that the level of parental education, family income and number of children were included in the low category. The three of them were the factors that affect the level of children education.

Abstract

The problems faced by education nowadays in imple-mentation teaching and learning prosess is the failure of Islamic edu-cation occuring in Islamic instution. This is because of the application of education which is merely concentrating on cognitive aspect including the willingness to apply the value of Islamic teaching. The development of Islamic education must rely on new paradigms that education has appreciation to democracy, individual differences, equality, diversity and involving society in decision making toward policy of education.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was related to personality development in the life of cultural values in the text of Latoa pangadereng assimilated with the values of Islam. This study discussed how the conceptof  to riolo which can be the basis of personality education, contained the values of honesty, intelligence, courage, truth, and the series that all those values are assimilated with the values of Islam. This study used a qualitative method. The result of this research shows that Education is a personality who becomes the object of human in the age groups of 17 years at the college level in Makassar. Education/coaching was based on the concepts of Lontara 'To Riolo, as well as the foundation of the Qur'an and Sunnah which aims to foster the generation that lived in modern times so as not to act far away from moral values, culture, and religion.Abstrak: Penelitian ini berkaitan dengan pembinaan kepribadian dalam kehidupan nilai-nilai budaya pangadereng dalam naskah Latoa yang berasimilasi dengan nilai-nilai ajaran Islam. Penelitian ini membahas tentang bagaimana konsep to riolo yang dapat menjadi landasan pendidikan kepribadian yang termuat dalam nilai-nilai kejujuran, kepandaian, keberanian, kebenaran, serta siri’ yang kesemuanya terasimilasi dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuali-tatif dengan analisis data deskriptif analitik. Pendidikan kepribadian yang menjadi objek adalah manusia dalam tingkatan umur 18 tahun tingkat pendidik­an di perguruan tinggi Makassar. Pendidikan didasarkan pada konsep-konsep lontara’ to riolo, serta landasan al Quran dan al Sunnah yang bertujuan membina generasi yang hidup di zaman modern agar tidak bertindak jauh menyimpang dari niali-nilai moral, budaya, dan agama.

Abstract

This paper entitled capitalism and capitalistic liberal education will present two problems related to the aforementioned theme, they are: how capitalism exists in social life and what is capitalistic liberal education. To deal the first problem, the writer traces the origin of capitalism internationally up to the latest con-dition. The study found that capitalism developed as an antithesis toward secularism and materialism. At the first stage of its deve-lopment, capitalism signified a religious Puritanism then turned to secularism movement. This finally turned to two different movements, rational and irrational capitalism. The second issue of this paper deals the capitalistic liberal education system. Based on the brief description of this, it can be inferred that capitalistic liberal education is all forms of educational management designed for merely getting financial interest without considering students’ interest on education.
