Abstract

This research explains about how the efforts Jamaica Forum for Lesbians, All-Sexuals, and Gays in against homophobia in Jamaica.J-FLAG is the foremost organisation in Jamaica advocating for the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people.Jamaica has a rich history of human rights advocacyfor the LGBT community. The movement began in the 1970s with the Gay Freedom Movement, spearheaded by Larry Chang who also later cofounded J-FLAG with several others. In those days, more pockets of tolerance and gay social spaces existed.Jamaica’s anti-sodomy or “buggery” laws that prohibit same-sex conduct betweenconsenting adult males date to 1864 when Jamaica was a British colony. Sections 76, 77 and 79 of the Offences Against the Person Act make the abominable crime of buggery.Prosecutions under these laws are rarely pursued. Nevertheless the laws have a real and negative impact. Criminalizing sexual intimacy between men offers legal sanction todiscrimination against sexual and gender minorities, and in a context of widespreadhomophobia, gives social sanction to prejudice and helps to create a context in whichhostility and violence is directed against LGBT people.Key Words: J-FLAG, Homophobia, LGBT, Buggery

Abstract

The construction of hotels in the city of Pekanbaru in the last two years rose sharply, even the city government has issued a permit as many as 15 licenses good for a budget class hotels and 5 star hotels (five). Many of the buildings that stood in the city of Pekanbaru (Hotel) largely devoid Waste Installation (IPAL) in accordance with the provisions of Law number 32 Year About the Environmental Protection and live Management .IPAL is a device engineering equipment and equipment that processes / process liquids the rest of the industrial production process, so that the liquid is discharged into lingkungan.IPAL worth it is very beneficial for humans and other living organisms, other natara: Processing of domestic or industrial waste water, so that the water can be used again according to the needs of each, so that waste water which will be piped to the river is not polluted, and that the biota-organisms in the river is not dead.This study aims to determine the expected results of this study could be a starting point to conduct a deeper study of the implementation of decentralization, especially the readiness of local government structures in an effort to further streamline the supervision and feed into the overall development policy making. This study used qualitative methods and types of data collection using document review, interviews and observation, while the data processing procedures and data analysis using descriptive qualitative.It can be concluded, the City of Pekanbaru basing policy monitoring environmental permit hotels, guesthouses and inns on the mechanism of legislation exist, capability or ability of the administration of the City of Pekanbaru in monitoring environmental permit hotels, guesthouses and inns are considered adequate, the capabilities of the budget / fiscal support the environmental permit oversight hotels, guesthouses and inns are adequate and likely to get attention for environmental issues are fundamental and targeted directly to the public.Keywords: Capability, Decentralization Political, Administrative and Fiscal.

Abstract

This thesis describes the policy changes that occurred in the two leadership,in three periods of the reign of president rebuplik Indonesia 6th and 7th Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (2004-2014) until Joko Widodo (2014-present). Where this cooperation include cooperation between the Republic of Indonesia and the Republic of China. In this case cooperation between the two countries that are in economic, political, trade, industry, tourism, culture etc.Those changes that occur that can impact in inside and outside the country. In the reign of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Indonesia and China is a partner of a close cooperation relationship, but China is not yet a trading partner key to Indonesia, while during the reign of Joko Widodo, the state China has become the country's most influential and Indonesia is now highly dependent on this bamboo curtain country, so that today China is a major trading partner for Indonesia.Keywords: policy change, cooperation, Tiongkok.

Abstract

Discipline is a starting point of all success in order to achieve the objectives of the organization. Therefore, the local goverment in the districks Rokan Hulu make regulation regent No. 18 of 2011 on compolsory prayer noon dan asr in congregation at mosques Pasir Pangarayan for Muslim employee in the working day in the administration districts Rokan Hulu in order to increase the devotion of empliyess to god almight one that affects discipline increase employeyment. Planning and regional Development Agencies Rokan hulu and Rokan Hulu Secretariat upstream part of the governance environment districts Rokan Hulu.This study aims to determine the implementation of the decree no. 18 of 2011. Dicipline of employess working in really in development Planning and Rokan Hulu Regency Secretariat inflence the implementation mainly Regent No. 18 of 2011 to dicipline the local Planning Agancy and the regional Secretariat Rokan Hulu.In this study the typies of research used in quantitative research required data collected to the study site with the questionnaire in this study are emplyess of the local palnning agancy Rokan Hulu 55 and Rokan Hulu district Secretariat asmany as 119 people.As this study using a Likert scale ewrw analized using simple Linier regression analysis and determination with the help of SPSS version 17.0 for Windows.The results of this study indicate that the implemantation of the decree No. 18 of 2011 against increased employee discipline Development planning Rokan Hulu great influence 23% and Rokan Hulu district Secretariat a big influence 29%.Key Words : Implementation, Dicipline

Abstract

This research was conducted in the District Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine how to form inter-ethnic Social Capital Community contained in RW 027 and the factors that influence it. In the data collection researchers conducted observations and depth interviews. Subjects in this study amounted to 10 people. The data obtained was processed in the form of descriptive qualitative analysis. Sampling technique research using purposive sampling technique. The result from this research that social capital there are exist in the form: (1) trust, applied by the citizens by establish a relationship with good friends among them and maintaining trust with no cheating in their work and mutual trust in matters of employment in other words, not put an excessive suspicion. (2) Social Network, as seen in the sharing of information between citizens in finding or getting a job or workers, help each other in need and share in the joy, and mutual cooperation involving all citizens without distinction of each other in race, religion, race, and intergroup. (3) Social norms, formed themselves that nothing written in the rules in RW 027, but personally and awareness of citizens to know how to respect each other despite differences of culture, language and ethnicity and religion. And the factors forming social capital in society of RW 027 is : (1) has long shared with together routines making them an intense met each other, (2) Comfortable and safe sense, (3) Good communication and the openness of society to newcomers. In the social capital that exist in the society created by people trying not to disturb the public tranquility else and be friendly and humble among them and greeted each other so that at the end of the third factor makes people intimate and social capital solid.Keywords : Social Capital, Ethnic, Society

Abstract

This research discusses economic cooperation done Indonesia with Turkey to improve the volume of exports crude palm oil/CPO to Turkey. especially from the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of the Republic of Turkey on Agricultural.The method used in this research is qualitative research. Some of the data obtained came from books, journals, articles, annual reports, the internet and other media. In this study also used the perspective of liberalism, international cooperation theory, and national interest Concept. Scope of this research is motivation indonesia in cooperation with turkey in an effort to increase their exports crude palm oil cpo ( ) indonesia to turkeyThis research showed that indonesia and turkey has good relations in all things especially in the trade sector. Turkey has an important role for trading partners indonesia , remember position turkey which is very strategic. The purpose of indonesia in cooperation with turkey is to promote the product of palm indonesia to Turkey , as well as making turkey as a way to open up the opportunity to export markets to other countries in about turkey or the Balkan countries and Europe..Key words: National Interests, CPO exports, MoU, Turkey as indonesia strategic trading partner.

Abstract

This research describes the policy of Thailand Government participate in the implementation of the ATF in the improvement of the tourism industry in 2011-2015. ASEAN Tourism Forum is a forum of the largest tourism in the ASEAN region. These activities are routinely held each year involving all sectors of the tourism industry from all member countries of ASEAN. In 2011, ATF meeting held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia agree on some specific strategies in the field of tourism which aims to make ASEAN as a single destination for foreign tourists. Earlier, Thailand by Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has proposed the idea of a single application of the visa in the sub-region ASEAN. The research method used was a qualitative with descriptive as a technic of the research. Writer collects data from the books, encyclopedia, journal, mass media and websites to analyze the policy of Thailand Government participate in the implementation of the ATF in the improvement of the tourism industry in 2011-2015. The theories applied in this research is decision making theory by Richard Snyder about internal and external factors. This research shows that basically Thailand strongly support and encourage other countries to prepare to welcome the implementation of the policy. In addition, Thailand contributed to cooperate and assist countries in order to accelerate the implementation of the single visa scheme throughout Southeast Asia. Thailand started to implement single visa policy with Cambodia. Key words : Policy, ASEAN Tourism Forum, Participate, Thailand.

Abstract

This research describes about how the impact of wine labeling policy reform by the European Union to Australian wine imports in the EU market in 2010 until 2012. This is done by European Union because Australian wine import in 2004, 2005 and 2006 increase in EU Market. Besides that, European Union wants to protect their wine by the reformation. In this research writer finds out that wine labeling policy reforms by European Union has influence to protect their domestic products from the Australian wine products. The new wine labeling rules impact on the decreasing Australian wine imported products.Keywords: Wine, Labeling, Reform, Import, European Union.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the faculty of social sciences and political science university riau, in order to determine the behavior of football gambling online on the student. problems in this study are (1) what the background factors of students playing football gambling online, (2) what is the impact of a football online gambling behaviors in students? The method used in this study is a qualitative research method, as for the sample in this study were students of the faculty of social sciences and political science university riau conducting gambling foot ball online, because the number of students who conduct gambling foot ball online is not known it is in research The writer in taking a sample with snowball sampling technique by determining one or two subjects to be interviewed further on the subject previously received thus further next subject, to collect data researchers using interviews, observation, documentation in analyzing research data. Results of this study can be concluded that the behavior of football gambling online at the social science faculty students and university political science riau in this study is students aged 22-23 years. Subjects in this study amounted to 5 people, consisting of some students directly involved in online gambling games. With the number of informants, researchers are still not able to get a lot of information needed. Populations are identified throughout the Riau University students involved in online gambling games, because the required informants are students who directly know and follow the online gambling game. Based on the results of this study concluded that the behavior of gambling footballs online at students of faculty of social sciences and political science university Riau, which is motivated by economic factors, situational factors, factors desire to try, factors perception of chances of victory, and the factor of the skills and the impact of football gambling online on the university students of social science and political science university riau namely health impact, economic impact, the impact of deviant behavior, academic performance impact, and the impact on personality.Keywords: Behavior, online footbal gambling

Abstract

Strategy in managing the issue is one of public relations duties as the company was hit by the issue . Public relations strategies used by public relations practitioners with the aim of resolving the problems being faced by an organization or company . Development of negative issues through mass media, both print and online media on the issue of Chevron bioremediation could adversely affect the company's image . Therefore, companies should have an effective management strategy to address the issue of the matter. This study aims to determine strategies PGPA Department PT . CPI in determining strategy management measures and to identify issues of planning prevention strategies through activities related to the development of communication strategies negative issues Bioremediation Chevron .The method used in this study is a qualitative method that attempts to explain the phenomena that occur in accordance with the results obtained with a set of 4 ( four ) the subject of research as an informant by purposive technique . The object of this study is the Strategy Department PGPA PT . Chevron Pacific Indonesia in management of issues for maintaining a corporate image based on the data information obtained through observation , interviews , and documentation . Technical analysis of the data in this study using a model of interactive data with data validity checking is done using the extension of participation and triangulation techniques .The results showed that the issue of management strategies performed with responsiveness . Deppartemen PGPA PT . CPI taking strategic steps to monitor the progress of society and collect data about a growing issue . PGPA Department issues management strategy performed by loading and provide information and clarification and hold issues through the mass media as the implementation of the communication strategy .
