Abstract

This research is intended to know and explain the condition of the movement of Riau Students in Pekanbaru especially especially in the period 2010-2014. So, this study does not want to condemn the poor orientation of the student movement, but wants to explore a pithy understanding surrounding the complexity of the student movement so that the debate is no longer around disorientation and stagnant student movement in the region. Because the student movement can not be compared against other student movements at certain times.The method used in this study is descriptive-kualiatif which directs the author to describe and describe the descriptive dynamics of Riau student movement in Pekanbaru in 2010-2014. In this case the researchers conducted interviews and analyzed theoretical books and popular books that explain the dynamics of student movement.Results of field research show that in the period 2010 - 2014, the Student movement experienced ups and downs. His condition illustrates that the student movement movement polarization occurs, and then marked by the issue of movement that tends to be partial. However, polarization should occur in the Riau student movement should be seen as its own dynamics and not as a threat. With the existing polarization, for example, it needs to build intensive communication in every issue of movement.Keywords: Student, Movement, Activist, Riau

Abstract

This research explains the role of international organizations in dealing with refugees as happened in Syria in 2011. One of the Syrian refugee destination countries is Lebanon, because it borders on Syria. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), which has the task of coordinating protection and solutions for refugees in accordance with the mandate given by the United Nations in the name of humanity.This research uses qualitative research method. Data obtained from books, journals, articles, dictionaries and websites. The concept used in this research is the role concept and using the theory of international organization.This research shows the role of UNHCR in dealing with Syrian refugees and has made UNHCR an active role in providing its assistance to Syrian refugees residing in Lebanon. With UNHCR's collaboration with the Lebanese government a direct positive impact on Syrian refugees through continuous protection assistance, safety assistance and other assistance.Keywords: UNHCR, Role, Lebanon, and Syrian Refugees

Abstract

Local regulation of siak districts policy number 5 year 2015 about Vilage‟s forum institution, in article 3 explain the function of Vilage‟s forum institution is: 1. To Discuss and agree vilage draft regulations with headman.2. Accomodate and channel the vilager aspirations 3. Perform performance monitoring the headman based on Local regulation. The three functions of vilage regulation are expected to be realized well, considering the Village Consultative Agency as a vehicle for democracy within the village. But in the implementation still many the point cannt be realized and there are still many obstacles in the implementation.The purpose of this research is to know how the Implementation of function kandis Vilage‟s forum institution, and want to know what are the constraints that cause the implementation of vilage regulation function difficult to be realizedThe method in this research is qualitative descriptive, by using purposive sampling technique, there are 2 key informant that is headman and Chairman of Vilage‟s forum institutionThe results of this research is to shows that the implementation of Vilage‟s forum institutionfunction has not run maximally, this is indicated by the number of Village regulations be taken out is not balanced with the existing problems in the village. Abstract

Employee performance is the result of someone working in an organization. Performance appraisal should be in view of how it works as far as where the goal is reached. The performance of the employees of the Department of Mineral and coal unit at energy and Mineral resources of Riau has not yet felt the maximum because there are still many obstacles occur against IUP after UU No. 23 year 2014. Therefore, many things are judged from the performance of Mineral and coal unit at Department of energy and Mineral resources to find out the extent to which the performance of Mineral and coal unit of achieving the objectives of UU No. 23 year 2014. Knowing the performance of Mineral and coal Field unit at the Department of energy and Mineral resources of Riau (case study of IUP after UU No. 23 year 2014). Knowing the factors that hamper the performance of the Department of energy and Mineral resources of Riau (case study of IUP after UU No. 23 year 2014).The concept of the theory that researchers use is the employee performance according to theory of Hasibuan (2002:22). This research uses research methods qualitative with a study of descriptive data. In data collection, researchers using the technique of interviewing, observation, documentation, and library studies. The author uses the informant as a source of information and as a source of triagulasi techniques in the validity of the data.The results of this research show that the performance of the Mineral and coal unit are still not maximum, proved there are still constraints that are found during IUP in the service of Department energy and Mineral resources of Riau. Abstract

Batak society is one of the people who have a lot of uniqueness starting from the language, marriage system, kinship system and philosophy of life that they hold high Dalihan Na Tolu. Batak society we encountered many in various places in Indonesia is no exception in Bukit Gajah Village is one of the existing village in Ukui District. Batak community will always maintain and preserve their cultural customs even though they are far away in overseas especially kinship system. In every interaction done Batak society will still use their life philosophy that is Dalihan Na Tolu. For the people of Batak Dalihan Na Tolu is a philosophy of life that will never be abandoned until whenever. Based on the background there is a question that is how the Batak people who are in the overseas especially in the Village of Mount Gajah. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with the theory of symbolic interaction. Data collected through interviews, observation and documentation. Informants in this study amounted to eight people determined by purposive sampling technique. The results of research in maintaining the philosophy of na tolu transition that is always upheld although overseas, in the process of communication Batak community in Bukit Gajah Village still based on the dalihan na tolu and also when carrying out the ceremony there is a wedding. Furthermore, in maintaining the transition na tolu they do intrabudaya communication pattern that is interpersonal and group communication. Abstract

The presence of merchants in the area of Islamic centere attractions can be said a very important role and required by visitor, daily Islamic Attractions center area has activities undertaken by the Islamic mosque Juma'ah center, with activities traders particularly food certainly takes a toll on the visitors and become comfortable Juma'ah , so that when they are hungry and need to eat, they do not need to be far out to buy them, so that they too could be running activities. Activities of local people (merchants) to attractions islamic center is how these traders by utilizing the courts new businesses that exist to be able to increase the income of their family economy, traders must be able to adapt to the crowds of visitors that if they can use will get a positive thing.This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. This research was conducted at the grand mosque in the area of national civil Rokan Hulu islamic center district. Pematang Berangan village, district Rambah, thestudy sample entire are food vendors that are planted in the study when researchers conducted interviewsat that time the number of traders who sell outside Region Attractions centere Islamic amounted to 15 people.Results from this study is the result of research Characteristics of merchants who sell Surrounding Attractions Causeway Village chestnut Islamic Center Rambah District of Rokan Hulu that traders were seen on age, education, gender, education, race, initial capital income, and capital resources. Abstract

Cultural heritages are things from the past, which are valued by communities in recent time as part of their nation’s culture. In reality, among the community members there are problems that arise as a result of diverse perceptions, due to the fact that each perception is based on own interests as is the case with the Site of Sangiran. On the one hand, the Government, as part of the present community, has an idealistic orientation towards the Site of Sangiran as a cultural heritage which unquestionably needs to be protected for the purpose of scientific knowledge and national identity. The local people around Sangiran Site, on the other hand, consider it as their ancestors’ area which possesses valuable contents and advantages to improve their economic condition. This conflict and the consequences (fossil protection on the one hand and fossil trade on the other) have so far not been resolved. Meanwhile, the destruction of the Site of Sangiran as the World Cultural Heritage No. 593 is still continuing.The method of data collecting is done by collecting secunder data, then analyzed in qualitative to obtain the draft about the main problem by using deductive method. The method of this research is the method of qualitative descriptive. The data is obtained through secunder data such as, book, journal, magazine, newspaper and website.To prevent further damage, UNESCO as an international organization to perform its role and together with the Government of Indonesia signed Heritage Management Framework that formed in 2010-2013, established by UNESCO, Heritage Management Framework provides a variety of management strategies and policies that are effective in the protection of Sangiran Museum.Keywords: Sangiran Site, UNESCO, World Heritage

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership and organizational commitment toward turnover intention in Ratu Mayang Garden Hotel Pekanbaru. Transformational leadership as the first variable (X1), Organizational commitment as the second variable (X2), and turnover intention as the third variable (Y). The method in this research is descriptive and quantitative by using program of SPSS 21, where the sample used by 80 employees by census and technique of data collecting through questioner. The result of this analysis using test of validity, reliability test, determination, simple linear regression test, T test and F test so it can be concluded that transformational leadership have significant effect toward turnover intention, organizational commitment have significant effect toward turnover intention. Transformational leadership and organizational commitment have negative effect and significant toward turnover intention in Ratu Mayang Garden Hotel Pekanbaru. Abstract

This research describe the interest of Indonesia dealed about comprehensive economic partnership agreement with European Union in 2011-2016. European Union are one of most countries in the world that have big potency for investations and Indonesia have been export some product to European Union. In order that export product from Indonesia always get protctionism and restriction for European Union regulations.The research method used was a qualitative with descriptive as a technic of the research. Writer collects data from books, encyclopedia, journal, mass media and websites to analyze the interest of Indonesia dealed about comprehensive economic partnership agreement with European Union. The theories applied in this research are liberalis with the foreign policy theory from KJ Holsti.The result shows that the interest of Indonesia dealed about comprehensive economic partnership agreement with European Union are becaused the protections and restriction regulation from Eurpoean Unions likes tariff and non tariff policy for product from Indonesia, standarization product from European Union and minims of infrastructure from Indonesias product.Key words: interest, protections, partnership and aggrement

Abstract

Rubik ganepo is a snack food whose basic ingredients are made from cassava whichwill be cut in dice thrn processed into yellow crackers derived from turmeric. Thisone food has long since its existence but its existence still survive until now. One ofwhich is in the area Jorong Padang Kandi Nagari VII Koto Talago which is theproduction center of rubik ganepo business. The purpose of this research is to knowthe elements of social capital in rubik ganepo business as well as social capitalbenefits in rubik ganepo business. This research uses qualitative approach withdescriptive analysis. Selection of informants in this study was conducted by purposivesampling technique that is taking data informants based on certain criteria. Thesecriteria are entrepreneurs who are members of the senior ganepo group in which theprocess of production and marketing is wide. Techniques used in this study areinterviews, observation, documentation. The results of this study indicate that theelements of social capital in rubik ganepo business consist of networks, trust, andnorms. The benefits of social capital in the from of a network is easier in marketingthe rubik ganepo business, make it easier to get of raw materials, improving goodrelations between actors. The benefits of trust capital such as transactions becomesmooth, goods or supply of raw materials as desired, proce negotitation goes well.The benefits of norms such as farmers are being cautious in the acquisition of rawmaterials, the quality rubik ganepo guaranteed, competition between entrepreneur ishealthy.Keyword: Social Capital, Rubik ganepo busines
