Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the impact of the ban policy on the export ofraw rattan towards Indonesian rattan furniture industry. Indonesian supplied theworld raw materials for 75.5%. Indonesia has the advantage in the production ofrattan raw materials, otherwise rattan furniture industry has not yet evolved.Through Permendag No. 35/M-DAG/PER/11/2011, Indonesia protect the rattanfurniture industry. In addition, this study aims to give information about thecondition of Indonesian rattan furniture industry before and after the issuance ofthe policy.This study applies mercantilism perspective. Mercantilism assume thateconomy controlled by political community and especially the government orcountry. Economic dependence on other countries for the mercantile should beavoided. When there is a threat of foreign parties in the free trade, then the statecan provide protection to avoid the impact. Protection theory used to analyze theimpact of the ban policy on the export of raw rattan towards Indonesian rattanfurniture industry. This study applies qualitative research method with libraryresearch.The results of this research founds that the ban policy on the raw rattanexport gives the positives influence on increases the export value of rattanfurniture and an increases in foreign exchange.Keywords: Mercantilism, Protection Policy, Rattan, Value of exports

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the development of tourism object AirPanas hapanasan kabupaten rokan hulu, especially in the development of is facility.Writer used Spillane theory (1994), which is said that facility is a supporting tool ofthe tourism object daily operational, to accommodate visitor need, indirectly supportgrowth but develop at the same time of after the attraction. Writer used ordinal scalefor measuring, which is likert scale, it is designet to ease respondent to answer somelevels in object which are going to measured.Visitor respondent about the development of the facili according to publicfacility, supporting and complementing tool in object ir panas hapanasan kabupatenrokan hulu. Writer found that visitor think that facilities are good enough,eventhough they need to be fixed in some aspect by improving and developingpromotion and marketing, and also fix the facilities in the location.Keywords : facilities, tourism, development, tourism objek.

Abstract

Gumantan treatment is treatment that is performed by the shaman to heal the pain caused by supernatural powers by way of the real world to the supernatural . This study is located in Teluk Beringin Village sub district of Gunung Toar Kuantan Singingi District , Province Riau.The purpose of this study was to determine the system gumantan implement treatment systems Teluk Beringin Village community and to determine the public perception of the treatment system gumantan Teluk Beringin Village . The theory used is Max Weber's theory of social action , and supporting theory is a theory of perception , and Theory Parson ( AGIL ) , while the method used is qualitative data collection techniques purposive sampling to conduct interviews Observation and Documentation .The results showed that the community treatment system that is there are several ways in which the shaman to cure diseases caused by unseen forces , and there is also a public perception of treatment gumantan agree with such treatment , and the treatment is also very helpful gumantan people in curing diseases because the disease is a disease caused by supernatural powers that can not be cured by modern medicine .Keywords : Gumantan , Social Systems , Perception

Abstract

This research aims to analyze, Indonesia Interest in ILO convention No. 189 on Decent Works for Domestic Workers. Indonesia has massive number of domestic workers caused by low quality of education. Therefore, Indonesia agreed on creation of ILO Convention No.189 in protecting their society that works as domestic workers. However, in the early of ILO Convention No.189 agreement creation in 2011, Indonesia has not ratified this Convention to 2013. If Indonesia has ratified this convention previously, then Indonesia would protected their society that works as domestic workers. Furthermore, Indonesia domestic workers bargaining power will increase and declin on Indonesia domestic workers demand. If Indonesia ratified this convention, Indonesia will sustain their unskilled social welfare (low quality of education) constantly working and gaining national income from domestic workers works overseas in foreign exchange. Qualitative method performed in analyzing this study by collecting data and fact from several literatures, such as from books, journals, mass media and website. According to realist approach, Joshep M Grieco used as supported theory in analyzing Indonesia Interest in ILO Convention No. 189 as participant in international agreement. This research is find that, Indonesia is not be able yet in complying ILO Convention No.189 provisions because of their society condition, another importance in sustaining national existences and social welfare. Abstract

This research focuses on the non-state actors in Cambodia is called AFESIP. AFESIP is a non-state actors, but are categorized in international organizations, whose role is help overcome or reduce the number of cases or international issues which play a role in AFESIP for women’s rights. AFESIP is an independent non-governmental organization, non-profit, expected sources of funds from donors, but has the vision and mission as well as a number of programs undertaken to help address and alleviate the problem of exploitation of women in Cambodia, year in 2004 to 2012. AFESIP in that year began to grow up and be able to show existence with it experience in nationally and internationally with built of AFESIP in Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. Women exploitation in Cambodia is a result of the occupation of France and Khmer Rouge war in 1863-1978. Overall, this research about AFESIP and the programs, and how it can reduces many women’s exploitation in Cambodia, so it can keep the stabilitation of that state and keep the security for women, especially for women’s right. Abstract

Field Work Experience (Kukerta) is intrakurikuler program with the main objective to provide education to students. The students of Field Work Experience (Kukerta) as a study conducted in the midst of the scientific community to implement possessed by every student of various disciplines, can then be applied in the middle of society. One of the institutions that implement activities Field Work Experience (Kukerta) is the University of Riau. The results showed that the student’s opinions is different, some refuse and support the implementation of Kukerta. The student’s opinions have mutual balance between supporting and rejecting.Key word : Communication, Opinion, Field Work Experience (Kukerta)

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of food security programs in addressing the problem of shortage of food needs such as rice Researchers use a political approach to food is to know the actors directly involved in the rice self-sufficiency program and its importance, determine the presence of rice self-sufficiency goal, know what factors affect the achievement of self-sufficiency in rice and facilities whether it has been adequately done in implementing the program of the local government in order to achieve self-sufficiency in rice in Siak in 2012. The theory that I use is the theory Merilee S Grindle which states that the success of policy implementation is influenced by two variables, namely the policy content and the implementation environment.The method used in this study is qualitative methods of data that can not be expressed in terms of numbers but in the form of an explanation that describes the shape of the state, a process, a particular event.The results showed that the implementation of the food security program in achieving rice swasemabada has not reached the desired target. This is due to the actors involved in the implementation of the program do not understand the purpose in carrying out policies that have been made, as the goal of increasing the planting area through land use and improve the quality of human resources in support of the implementation of the program so that the many obstacles that can not be resolved by the actors.Besides the political, social and economic influence also in the implementation of food security programs in achieving self-sufficiency rice in the regency of siak in 2012.Keywords: food security, policy implementation, and interests.

Abstract

This research is motivated because of the work of employees who almost daily are not always completed on time , sometimes there is still a job of another employee who cause problems and absenteeism levels are still high . Thus the role of leadership is needed in improving their performance . The purpose of this study was to determine the style of leadership and the performance of employees of PT . Bank BNI Syariah Branch Pekanbaru and to determine the relationship of leadership style with the performance of the employees of PT . Bank BNI Syariah Branch Pekanbaru . The results showed that the leadership styles used by leaders of PT . Bank BNI Syariah Branch Pekanbaru tend to use a leadership style where the leader of the delegation of the work delegated authority to hand over full responsibility for the execution of the work to subordinates , but in practice the leadership also use autocratic and participative leadership style . Moreover the performance of the employees still have shortcomings in terms of work , work discipline , the possession of work and cooperation . From the statistical analysis it is known that the style of leadership has a strong connection with the performance of the employees of PT . Abstract

Stars shoes shop at Marpoyan Pekanbaru department are one of trade business that work under Stars International Company in Surabaya. This trade business work in footwear sector or retail business. More rivalry in trade business that make a challenge for this trade business to always get compete and hold out into rivalry business.This research are purpose to know SWOT analysis and strategy for increase competitiveness along with assembling SWOT analysis. This research are description method with kind of the study research example and data collection are doing by interview and give questioner to some people that include in this research.From SWOT analysis, we know that score of IFAS is 2,84 and score of EFAS is 2,97. It means that if this score are in SWOT diagram, the research indicate that this trade business are in quadrant 1 position. It means that the strongest of this trade business have a circles opportunity and much more power can use to make that opportunity. The higher score for SWOT matric is 4,35 that decide for this trade business. Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of credit risk, as measured by non performing loan to the level of profitability (return on assets) in the banking PT.Bank Negara Indonesia,Tbk.Sampling technique used is purposive sampling with criteria as PT. Bank Negara Indonesia,Tbk who provide financial report and traded during period 2006-2012. Obtained by amount sampel as much 28 in financial report kuartal since 2006 to 2012. Analysis technique used is simple linier regression.During research period show as data research was normally distributed. Based on multicolinierity test, heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation test variable digressing of classic assumption on has not founded. Its indicate that the avaiable data has fulfil the condition to use simple linier regression model.Based on the result of the analysis, it is encountered that credit risk influenced negative but it is not significant toward profitability.Based on the above results, it is suggested: (1) it can be used as consideration in maximizing the level of profitability, (2) can increase an empirical and scientific evidence regarding non performing loan to the level of profitability, which can be in line with this research.Keywords : Credit Risk, Non performing Loan, Profitability, Return On Assets
