Abstract

Social media instagram is a new media that is currently in great demand by the people of Indonesia. @awkarin’s Social media Instagram as one of the accounts deemed viral and followed by millions of teenagers in Indonesia can affect the activities, interests, opinions, and lifestyle of its users. Hedonis lifestyle is a lifestyle whose activities to seek pleasure of life, such as spending more time outdoors, playing more, happy in the city crowd, happy to buy the expensive goods that he likes, and always want to be the center of attention. The purpose of this study is to find out theu influence of @awkarin’s social media instagram against hedonic lifestyle among adolescent followers by using S-O-R theory as the foundation. This research uses quantitative research method with explanation approach. This research was conducted by sending questionnaires to @awkarin’s social media instagram followers through online. Respondents in this research are 100 people who follow social media instagram @awkarin and the category is determined based on random sampling. Data collection is obtained through questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis technique in this research is quantitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that influential @awkarin’s Social Media Instagram against hedonic lifestyle among adolescent followers. Proved by the value of regression coefficient in this study is Y = 4,043 + 0.695X. the constant number of 4,043 and the coefficient of social media value variable is 0.695. meanwhile t count 4.043 bigger when compared with t table equal to 1667, with level significance 0.000 smaller than α = 0,05. Based on the table "Model Summary" shows that the value of R = 0.543 and the coefficient of determination (Rsquare) is 0.294. This figure indicates that the contribution of social media variable @Awkarin’s instagram to visiting followers interest is 29.40%. @Awkarin’s Social media instagram influences the Hedon lifestyle among adolescent followers, and the magnitude of influence with the "low" category.Keywords: Influence, Social Media, Hedonis Lifestyle

Abstract

Terrorism is a term for terrorist group, while terror is an intentinally act done by a group intentionally that aims to influence, intimidate people in order to feel insecure and uncomfortable also to make other people feel scared so that it can attract people’s attention, group or nation. Like the terrorism depicted in the film Alif Lam Mim by which terrorism is portrayed as clothed in the ways of the muslims wearing the robe and the turban over the head, also terrorists who are always identified with violence.This study uses descriptive qualitative method which is analyze by Roland Barthes semiotics model, data collection techniques has been used observation of audio/dialogue and visual display in the film Alif Lam Mim, documentation, and interview by using purposive sampling technique.The result of research show that there is a meaning of terrorism in the film Alif Lam Mim namely that a Kyai who is considered as the leader of terrorist, and the clothes of the moeslims are suspected as terrorists and it becomes society perception or that it is a terrorist outfit, as well as the actions of a colonel to the muslims issues about Islam to the public to get an the higher position and make a bad image of religion in the point of view society.Keywords:Film, Terrorism, Alif Lam Mim, Moeslem

Abstract

Kelab Umno is an International Organization that is not under the auspices of the Government but the government involves the UMNO Club in Malaysia's Tourism activities in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the implementation of management functions of the functions of planning, organizing, moving and supervision in Tourism. This research uses qualitative research method with descriptive analysis. This research was conducted at Malaysian Consulate Building in Medan on Jl Pangeran Diponegoro no. 43, Madras Hulu, Medan Polonia Medan City, North Sumatera 20151. Data collection techniques used are by way of observation, interview and documentation. While the validity of the data that researchers use is to extend the participation, triangulation and reference adequacy. The results show that, UMNO clubs play a role in developing Malaysian tourism in Indonesia, which aims to improve the Malaysian economy. Keywords: UMNO Club, Tourism, Foreign Student Bureau

Abstract

MICE (meeting, incentive, convention and exhibition) is a a type of tourism activity which is a large group, usually carefully planned, set off together for a particular purpose. Role is a behaviors that are expected to be performed by someone who occupies a particular position, either in the organization's position or in the state's stance. Every person who occupies that position, is expected to behave in accordance with the nature of that position. The research was conducted at the department of tourism and culture of Padang city, which is located at Gandaria street number 56, Padang. Department of tourism and culture of Padang city selected as a research site for the department of tourism and culture is one of the government agencies working in the field of tourism. This research aims to determine the role of the department of tourism and culture of Padang city in improving the MICE in the Padang city. This research uses qualitative descriptive method to process the data obtained in the field through interviews, all the information collected and studied to become a unified whole (Kusuma and Sugiono 2000). Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, literature study and documentation. Based on the results of research that has been done the role of tourism and culture of Padang city in improving MICE with variable motivator, facilitator and dynamicator with good research conclusions.Keywords : meeting, incentive, convention and exhibition

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Pos Indonesia Pekanbaru, located at Sudirman Street 229,Pekanbaru. The study was purpose to determine the influence of differentiation strategy on customer satisfaction at PT. Pos Indonesia Pekanbaru.Methodology that use in this research are descriptive and quantitative with SPSS, and the population of this study are the customers of PT. Pos Indonesia Pekanbaru. Formula Slovin is used for the sampling, sampling method with accidental sampling as many as 100 people. The form of research data are primary data and secondary data, with the questionnaire as the research instrument.From the results of data analysis include validity, reliability, simple linear regression, t-test, and the test of determination (R2). The results showed that the strategy of differentiation significantly influence customer satisfaction. It can be seen from the value t count = 10.444 > t-table = 1,984. So that the figures obtained R2 (R Square) of 0.527 or 52.7%. This shows that the percentage contribution of independent variables (differentiation strategy) on the dependent variable (customer satisfaction) amounted to 52.7% and strong relationships with a large award is 0.52. While the remaining percentage of 47.3% (100% - 52.7%) influenced by other variables not included in this study variables.Keywords: strategy differentiation, customer satisfaction, PT. Abstract

Forest is a natural resource potential and has a strategic role in development. The concept developed by the collaboration between central and local governments in forest management activities. Forest management concept is that through the FMU development. The development is expected to create better forest management by encouraging the achievement of forest conservation and welfare of the community, and can accommodate the demands and economic interests (PAD). The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the implementation of the SSH Tahura management implemented by UPT KPHP Model Minas Tahura. In Riau Provincial Regulation No. 5 of 2015 on the Management of Forest Park Sultan Syarif Hasyim, Article 6 states Tahura SSH management includes planning, implementation, maintenance, utilization, development, security and protection. The place where you are investigating is UPT KPHP Minas Tahura Riau Province, with the consideration that the management of Forest Park Sultan Syarif Hasyim from the site level managed by UPT KPHP Minas Tahura. Who became informants in this study are those directly involved in the management of the Head of UPT KPHP Minas Tahura, Section Chief of Planning and use of forest areas, and the head of Rehabilitation and Forest Protection, Legal Bureau Riau Province. The results showed that the management of SSH Tahura through the process of planning, organizing, and monitoring. Implementation of the organizing function is still not optimal, this is because the funding for operational activities as well as still inadequate facilities and infrastructure to support the operation. The planning function is a function of local government management that significantly affect its implementation. This is because the functions of planning and mobilization UPT KPHP Model Minas Tahura in the region Tahura SSH is managing the potential environmental services and nature to be a source of input for PAD. PAD is still managed by the Forest Service. SSH Tahura management by UPT KPHP Model Minas Tahura supported by the Regulation No. 5 Year 2015 concerning the Management Tahura SSH. So, it is very reasonable when it is said in the results of this study Tahura management of SSH is still not optimal, because all management activities that have been planned at this time still ongoing.Keywords: Management, Forest Park Sultan Syarif Hasyim

Abstract

Controlling is a procedure that really important for some work, especially in government. Less of controlling is a phenomenon that affect deviation and bad thing that makes disadvantageous for some parties, this phenomenon occurs in Kelurahan Simpang Baru Kecamatan Tampan , Pekanbaru City, which is the effectifities of controlling from Badan Pendapatan Daerah about collection regional income tax isn’t maximal, because there’s so many problem about the implementation of Badan Pendapatan Daerah that not going properly by the rules itself. Writer want to knows deeper about controlling from Badan Pendapatan Daerah about collection regional income in Kelurahan Simpang Baru, Pekanbaru City.The Purpose of this research is to know about the controlling from Badan Pendapatan Daerah Pekanbaru City for collection regional income tax, and to know about factors that affect the controlling that doing by Badan Pendapatan Daerah Pekanbaru City. This research method is qualitative descriptive, and types of data for this research are primer data and sekunder data.The result for this research is controlling from Badan Pendapatan Daerah about the collection regional income tax in Kelurahan Simpang Baru Kecamatan Tampan, Pekanbaru City isn’t maximal. So from this research , the conclusion are : (1) the implementation about controlling for regional income tax can be seen from all indicators , make a standar for controlling, take an assestment action , and take some correction action which is all of them are not going properly. (2) the factors that affect controlling from Badan Pendapatan Daerah for collection regional income tax in Kelurahan Simpang Baru Kecamatan Tampan Pekanbaru City can be seen from all indicators, human resource, facility, people participation and all of them are not going properly. The main problem is the human resource itself, lack of personil that have to controls many objective tax and subjective tax , and less of attention from people that want to pay the regional income tax.Keyword : Controlling, Collection regional income tax, Badan Pendapatan Daerah Pekanbaru City

Abstract

             Online transportation is a phenomenon of social change in the field of transportation. The operation of online transportation threatens the existence of PT. Riau Taxi. In order to survive until now, PT. Riau Taxi not only requires material capital but also social capital. The formulation of the problem discussed in this study is how the existence and social capital of a PT. Riau Taxi in the midst of an online transportation in the Pekanbaru City. The theory used in this study is the theory of social capital put forward by Putnam which consists of  network, trust and  norm. The study used descriptive qualitative research method. The technique of determining the subject in this study used a purposive sampling technique. The subject amounted to 6 people, namely those who were working or who had worked in  PT. Riau Taxi at least 1 year. The result of this study indicate that after an online transportation operates, PT. Riau Taxi no longer exists. This is caused by the inequity of regulations between online transportation and PT. Riau Taxi, and PT. Riau Taxi does not carry out renewal and does not prioritize the completeness of the fleet. The social capital formed by PT. Riau Taxi caused the company to survive until now. The network formed makes PT. Riau Taxi able to find out the problems of other taxi companies and find solutions to the problems at hand. The trust formed resulting in PT. Riau Taxi getting regular customers, and being able to maintain the remaining driver. Established norms can prevent disputes between fellow taxi companies and make PT. Abstract

Maritime transportation is the most effective alternative in the Meranti Islands Regency because this region is an archipelago. Therefore, the need for sea transportation has a negative impact with the occurrence of disorder and the inconvenience of passengers while in port and the occurrence of traffic accidents in the territorial waters. Considering the high potential for irregularities by shipping operators, supervision is needed for the operation of the Port of Tanjung Harapan which is a port located in the capital of the Meranti Islands Regency by the KSOP of the Meranti Islands Regency. The purpose of this research is to see how the operational supervision of the Tanjung Harapan port by the KSOP class IV of the Meranti Islands Regency, as well as what factors are obstacles to the operational supervision of the Tanjung Harapan port. This type of research used in this research is qualitative with a qualitative descriptive approach and the selection of informants using a porposive sampling technique with data triangulation techniques as data analysis techniques. The results of this study found that supervision carried out by KSOP class IV of the Meranti Islands Regency still experienced a lack of human resources namely officers who conducted field supervision, inadequate port facilities to accommodate the number of potential passengers, lack of public awareness of the importance of safety when sailing with ship conditions that exceeds the capacity of the ship and does not apply strict sanctions to shipping entrepreneurs who violate the established seaworthiness standard. Keywords: Supervision, Operations, Transportation.

Abstract

This research aims to explain economy and politic interests from the Rejection of Indonesian Government for changing Crude Palm Oil (CPO) taxes tariff by France. CPO is one of the most agriculture commodities that Indonesia had in this century. Since 2010, CPO trade have faced with black campaign by Greenpeace and impacted to regulation of vegetable oil products in European Union market and France included in it. The differences of regulation between CPO and others vegetable oil are Renewable Energy Directive, Labelling regulation and taxes tariff. The changing of CPO Taxes Tariff that is planning will begin to use in 2017 and the reason is sustainability principle got attention from CPO Producer countries include Indonesian.Data of this research was obtained from books, journals, articles, official documents and websites that support the hypothesis. The author used nation-state level analyze, the theories used in this research consist of Foreign Policy Foreign Policy theory by James N. Rosenau, the national interest by Hans J. Morgenthau.The result of this research shows that there is an economy politic interest in the rejection of Indonesian Government for changing Crude Palm Oil (CPO) taxes tariff by France that will impact negatively for export value on CPO if the policy like this success used. The regulation for opening of palm oil plantations that was often become problem now have been maximize for interests both of CPO producer and exporter. CPO also become one of the keys on economic growth and village development in Indonesia. In addition, the CPO price and tax ratio in France was not indicate that CPO tax rates need to be raised.Keyword: taxes tariff, CPO, national interests, economy politic, regulates
