Abstract

Safe House is a program established by the Police Sector Sukajadi. The program is conducted almost three years, and still there from some people who do not know the safe house program. It is also shown that not all the people involved in the safe house program, and the participation of people from year to year has decreased leading to poor public perception of the police. Therefore, this study aims to determine the strategy of persuasive communication on the program safe house of the police, the elements of persuasive communication on the program safe house of the police to improve community participation Sukajadi and communication barriers persuasive police to improve community participation in the programme safe house.This study uses descriptive qualitative data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained are then processed to be reduced, resulting conclusions presented to the public. Mechanical election informants in this study were seven based techniques that researchers use purposive. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. As for the technical examination of the validity of data, researchers useextension of participation techniques and triangulation.The results showed that (1)strategy of persuasive communication in the program safe house through a strategy of psychodynamic by touching people's emotional, and communicating rampant criminal acts that result in material damage or lead to death the victims, persuasion sociocultural police participated on public activity (2)unsur elements persuasive communication on program safe house through persuader presence of some police personnel were less than friendly, indifferent and only standbay diposguard, persuadee public response to the program open or positive, the message is less effective, the channel used by the delivery of home home (door to door), stickers appeal, as well as direct communication (face to face), the feedback given community is very positive, (3)obstacle-barrier persuasive communication in the program safe house that social status differences in economic status, job title / position in the community, as well as their prejudiced this program only for imaging the police.Keywords: Strategy Persuasive Communication, Safe House, Participation of Public

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the motivation of teachers in performing tasks and service functions to students in SMA Negeri 3 Tapung Kampar regency based on intrinsic factors and extrinsic factors. This research method uses a combination approach between quantitative and qualitative used to process the data obtained from the research location. Data collection techniques in this study using questionnaire method and study data in the form of reports and evidence relating to research. The data were analyzed quantitatively by using frequency tables and the end result was determined by the mean value. The results showed that the average score of teacher motivation of intrinsic factor is 4.13 with very good category. The highest score indicator is the responsibility with the average score reached 4.32 with very good category. While the average score of extrinsic factor is 4.10 with very good category. Indicator that get highest score is interpersonal relationship with average score reached is 4,42 with very good category. So it can be concluded that most teachers in SMA Negeri 3 Tapung have been motivated to work in carrying out the duties and functions of excellent service, both from intrinsic factors and from extrinsic factors resulting in excellent performance. As for the input is the motivation of teacher work must be maintained and improved again in order to achieve quality education in SMA Negeri 3 Tapung.Keywords: Teacher Motivation, Service Function

Abstract

This research aims to test partially and simultaneously the influence of business risk and sales growth against the capital structure of the company's Property and Real Estate sector which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Where independent variables in this study are business risk and sales growth and dependent variables are capital structures. This research uses secondary data in the form of corporate financial statements from 2011-2016 period. The data analysis in this study used simple, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination, test-T and test-F, using SPSS 23 device programs. The results of the analysis showed that partial business risk variables (T-tests) affected the property and real estate corporate capital structure listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, partial sales growth variables (Test T) were not affect the capital structure of the property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Simultaneous results (test f) indicates the influence of business risk and sales growth of the capital structure of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Keywords: Business risk, sales growth, capital structure

Abstract

AbstractThis study was conducted at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Pekanbaru which is located on Tuanku Tambusai Ujung No.821, Pekanbaru City, Riau. This study aims to determine the effect of the Working Capital Turnover and Accounts Receivable Turnover on Profitability at the Pekanbaru PT. Pegadaian (Persero) during the 2014-2018 period. The type of data used is quantitative data and the source of data used is secondary data. This data collection technique is a documentation technique.  Hypothesis testing uses a simple linear analysis method and multiple linear analysis with the results showing that the working capital turnover and Accounts Receivable Turnover  has a positive and significant effect on profitability at the  PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Pekanbaru. By calculating the coefficient of determination (R2) obtained value of R Square of 0.303. It showed that the Working Capital Turnover and Accounts Receivable Turnover has an effect of 30,3% on profitability at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Pekanbaru, while the remaining 69,7% is influenced by other variables not determined in this study. The results of this study are strengthened by the results of hypothesis testing through the f-test which shows the significance of working capital turnover and accounts receivable turnover below 0.05, which means working capital turnover and accounts receivable turnover have a significant effect on profitability (NPM). *Keywords: Working Capital Turnover, Accounts Receivable Turnover, Profitability (NPM)

Abstract

This research aims to determine customer satisfaction at hotel Grand Central Pekanbaru to the service quality which consists of five dimensions which are tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy.This study uses Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) or level of interest analysis and performance or customer satisfaction. The population of this study are all customers who have ever come or have used services at the Grand Hotel Pekanbaru. The sample of this research is 100 respondents from hotel guest by the accidental sampling method. Based on the research that has been done, the data processing indicates that respondents to the Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru obtain excellent results. Where all the average values indicate the level of conformity the reality and expectations of respondents exceeded from 1 or greater than 100%, which is stated with great satisfaction.Keyword: Customer Satisfaction, Service Quality, Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy

Abstract

Service can not be separated from the problem of public interest. The common interest is the correlation with the public interest. Public services arise because of the obligation as a process organizers organizational activities, concerned with the matter of the same personal interests of a group of people or society. But it does not mean that the same interests of a group of people automatically become a public interest. Kuantan Bay (Kuantan) Detention Center is located in downtown Kuantan Singingi Regency located at Jalan Imam Bonjol No.34 Kuantan Bay Market Village and has a total of 20 guards and 6 staff. Detention House of State (Rutan) Teluk Kuantan is now over capacity or no longer ideal between the capacity to the number of prisoners / prisoners. Just imagine, the ideal capacity is only 63 people, but currently crammed with 225 prisoners / prisoners. Ironically again, Men, women and children are forced to be together even in separate cells. Of that number, the number of prisoners / prison men reached 200 men, women prisoner reached 3 people and prisoner 2 children. Based on the background of the above problem, this study aims to find out What are the forms of service to prisoners in prison (Kuantan Singular) Detention Center, Kuantan Singingi How do the prisoners respond to the service at the Kuantan Bay House Detention Center Kuantan Singingi Regency. Abstract

This research explains how Indonesia's efforts to solve the problem of people smuggling in Riau Islands, Indonesia (2009-2012). Indonesia, which is an archipelagic country, has border areas by sea, land and air facing directly with neighbour countries, one of them is Riau Islands region. Under these situation, Indonesia becomes a country with the  highly vulnerable to the crime of people smuggling because of the weakness of guarding the border areas.The author collects data from books, encyclopedias, journals, mass media and internet websites to analyze Indonesia's efforts to solve the problem of people smuggling in Riau Islands (2009-2012). The theory used in this research is the perspective of realism with the theory of Public Policy by James E. Anderson.The results show that Indonesia has done various ways to prevent the occurrence of  people smuggling cases by ratifying the palermo convention with the 2 protocols to prevent the problem of people smuggling and illegal immigrants into the country and also work together with neighbour countries to exchange information. The law used to give effect to the perpetrators of people smuggling is using UU no.6 of 2011 on immigration and for illegal immigrants smuggling victims submitted to UNHCR and IOM.Key words: People smuggling, illegal immigrants, public policy, convention, protocol

Abstract

This vehicle test is determines for chek the worthines of vehicle, cheking is will do on a physical check. Testing conducted is the test of vehicles used as public transportation and logistic transportation. The aim of this study is to determine the service of vehicle testing from the administrastion and physical testing of the vehicle. this research using basic concept of public service standard which taken from joko widodo theory (2001), which explains that there are 5 indicators of public service standards are service procedures, completion time, service products, service costs, facilities and infrastructure, and officer competence. the authors use qualitative research methods by assessing data descriptively. in collecting research data using interview technique, observation, and documentation.the results of this study can be seen that the service KIR Test at Technical. Implementation Unit Area Vehicle Testing in the Department of Transportation is quite good but there are still problems that are found that is the completion time is not in accordance with the established Standard operational procedures, facilities and infrastructure not yet available, there is many testing tools are not working optimally, the set fee has not been transparent including new charges that are not submitted and explained to the public and less of socialization about how important KIR Test at Technical Implementation Unit Area Test Testing vehicle in department of transportation in pekanbaruKeywords: Public Services, KIR, Motor vehicle

Abstract

3 kg LPG gas is a government-subsidized gas whose purpose is for the poor and IKM. In Pekanbaru City the use of subsidized gas has been implemented since 2009 with the Pekanbaru area which is quite extensive and the large number of scattered bases has caused the problem of subsidized gas distribution not to be implemented properly. To overcome the problems of the government and the trade office and the Pekanbaru city and related parties set a code of ethics. The code of ethics is a rule that is made to reduce violations committed by the base so that the target of the distribution of subsidized gas is right. Responsibility, freedom, honesty, justice and autonomy are indicators of success in a profession. The purpose of this study was to find out how the code of ethics for the distribution of subsidized gas in the city of Pekanbaru, and the inhibiting factors. The concept of theory used in this study is the theory of professional ethics proposed by Keraf in the book Rismawaty. This study uses qualitative methods with descriptive data assessment. In compiling research data using purposive sampling method and incidental sampling as information and data analysis. The results showed that the code of ethics for the distribution of subsidized gas in the city of Pekanbaru is not yet running with a maximum of many bases that do not distribute according to the code of ethics that have been set. Abstract

Suku Akit in Sungai Upih is one of the remote indigenous communities in the province of Riau. Suku Akit on the Sungai Upih is ethnicities in the region Pelalawan, precisely in the district of Kuala Kampar. Suku Akit on the Sungai Upih customs still strong holds in each of their lives, can be seen from the simple life that run in small groups of them. The purpose of this study was to obtain in-depth information about the social adaptation strategies in the Suku Akit Sungai Upih and factors that influence adaptation. Therefore, the location of the research conducted in the District of Kuala Kampar. The research objectives are few people on the Suku Akit Sungai Upih who have moved from traditional fishing profession to rice farmers as the livelihood of his life. The survey results revealed that social adaptation strategy akit tribal communities on the Sungai Upih is the interaction of the group outside the community primarily through the trading system and a source of jobs. There are still a lot number of the Family Head Suku Akit who live below the poverty line and the traditional fishermen with minimal knowledge and technology. There are only a few heads of the families were trying to adapt to the way moonlighting as rice farmers, farm laborers, and workers charcoal maker. Rice farmers is one of the social adaptation strategies to do community in Suku Akit Sungai Upih to survive in meeting basic needs of the family economy.This research is expected to be beneficial for all.Keywords: Strategy, Adaptation, Remote Indigenous Communities.
