Abstract

The artist's image is a picture of the self made by the artist regarding the appearance of himself and the accompanying feeling based on the assessment of the views of others towards him. The presence of the 1991 Dilan movie that was able to attract more than five million viewers and formed a fanpage Instagram account, namely @dilanku. This account is an Instagram official account from fans of the film Dilan which contains Dilan movie footage and Dilan film promotions. The @dilanku account shows a lot of positive comments from Dilan movie viewers who identified the figure of Iqbaal with Dilan so as to produce an image for the artist Iqbaal. The theory used in this study is the Stimulus-Response theory. The purpose of this study was to determine the magnitude of the effect of the artist's image on the interest in watching Dilan 1991 movie in adolescents on my @dilanku fanpage Instagram account.This study uses quantitative research methods, with data collection techniques, namely through distributing questionnaires using Google Form online to followers of Instagram accounts @dilanku with a total sample of 207 which were determined through purposive sampling technique. Data analysis techniques in this study using explanatory statistical techniques.The results of this study indicate that the level of influence of the image on watching Dilan 1991 films on @dilanku followers has a big effect. This is seen from the simple regression in this study is Y = 11,748 + 0,291X + e. the constants value is 11,748 and the artist image variable coefficient is 0,291. Meanwhile based on the results of the hypothesis test it is known that the significance value of 0,000 is smaller than α = 0.05. Based on the Model Summary table shows that the value of R = 0.473, and the coefficient of determination (R square) is 0.223 in moderate correlation. This figure shows the understanding that the influence of the artist's image on interest in watching is 22.3%. While the remaining 77.7% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

This paper describes the investment of Chinese direct foreign investment in Zambia toward China's domination in Zambia. Zambia as a developing country is a destination for Chinese investment abroad. China invests more in Zambia in various sectors of Zambia's economy.This research uses the perspective of liberalism as a reference to analyze China's domination in Zambia through Chinese investment in Zambia. This research uses the theory of foreign investment to see the economic and political advantages of imports through investment. This research also use Sphere Influence concept to analyze china influence in Zambia.The result of this research is that Chinese investment in Zambia is increasing China's use in Zambia. With increased investment in various sectors of the Zambian economy and the China-Zambia Special Economic Cooperation Zone can improve China's economy and politics in Zambia. China uses investment as a step to expand domination abroad. China can control Zambia's natural resources, expand industrial estates and send workers from Zambia and improve bilateral relations between China and Zambia.Keywords: Investment, company, special economic zone, interests, political economy.

Abstract

Student neture lover, for the member is only as a community, but it has been became a life for the member. Is their opinions, student neture lover is the second home. Almost everty night, thet gather is the homestay to do activities, such as singing, culding, it is like the campus is never silent. They are look like a mess and careless with their performance, that convince their characteristic as the member of student neture love. This study aims to knowing the underlying motive behind self, concept of member and self aspects are formed on student neture lover.This study is using phenomenology approaching and data collection is using purposive sampling ammount to five, with data collections technique is in depth interview participant, oberservation participant, and documentation. Meanwhile, for validity correction terchinique, the resercher is using extension opt-in techinique and the then the reseracher is processing the data for reducted and presented until produce generai conlusion.The result of this study indicate that the underlying motive behind the student become student neture lover because there is hobby, enveronmental of domicile and nateru activities. The factors that affect self-concept of student nature lover, because there is education factor, teach the each member to become discipline persone, form the characteristic, caring the neture, the other can giving information about student neture lover that thery get form student camp, member and senior Fisip (Faculty of Social and Political Science) and aapects of self, concept are formed on student neture lover, they are psychic, comfortable as a member, and social aspects because there is caring for the others affeected by disaster.Keywords: Concept self, Student Neture Lover

Abstract

This study aims to analyze employee recruitment and organizational commitment and its influence on employee performance at Hotel Dafam Pekanbaru. Employee Recruitment as a variable (X1), Organizational Commitment as a variable (X2), and Employee Performance as a variable (Y). The method used in this research is descriptive and quantitative using SPSS 21 program, where the sample used is 48 employees conducted by census and data collection technique through questionnaire. The result of analysis using validity test, test of reliability, test of determination, simple linear regression test, multiple linear regression test, t test and F test. So it can be concluded that employee recruitment has a significant influence on employee performance Dafam Hotel Pekanbaru, organizational commitment has significant influence on employee performance At Dafam Hotel Pekanbaru, and employee recruitment and organizational commitment have a significant influence on employee performance of Hotel Dafam Pekanbaru. Abstract

Population Administration is a very important role in development, where the system of Population Administration can be known about the population data and information in accordance with the state of the population and about the condition of the area of residence of the population. Provisions governing the Village Administration are regulated in the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 47 of 2016 on Village Administration of Village Heads authorized to organize Village Administration. The village head implements village administration assisted by village officials. Village Administration is implemented in the framework of: Governance, Development Implementation, Community Development, and Community Empowerment.The research method used in this research is qualitative research, with the focus of research: (1) The Role of Village Government in Population Data Collection In Bandur Picak Village Koto Kampar Hulu Sub-District (2) Factors Influencing Implementation of Role of Bandur Picak Village Government in Population Data Collection in Bandur Picak Village.The result of the research is that the implementation of the role of village government as the administrative organizer of the village has not been maximally can be seen from the implementation of the role of village government, in data collection and handling of moving documents, there are still many immigrants who have no identity including the letter moved from their place of origin. While the sanctions provided by the village government are not in accordance with the rules contained in the village regulations. Abstract

The history of television in Indonesia began in 1962, with the stipulation of the Minister of Information Decree No. 190A / KEP / Menpen / 1987 on limited channel broadcasts. This triggered the presence of local television ready to present broadcasts, information and culture from the region itself. Dumai Vision is one of the longest local television in Dumai City and still exists to this day. The purpose of this research is to know how Dumai Vision strategy in maintaining its existence as a local television in Dumai City. This research uses qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The object of this research is the local television Dumai Vision maintains its existence. The subjects of the study consisted of six persons selected using purposive techniques determined based on the criteria of informants who understood the local television part of Dumai Vision. Techniques of collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study apply the theory of media ecology by Dimmick and Rothenbuhler which reveal that in order to maintain its existence, the media need the main life support sources namely, types of content (type of media content), types of audience (capital target audience) and capital (advertising revenue). In maintaining its presence in the local broadcasting industry in Dumai City, Dumai Vision runs a variety of strategies including: 1) Does a television program strategy, 2) Does strategy to attract viewers, 3) Does strategy to getting profit. Abstract

The research was conducted in Pekanbaru City with the aim to obtain information about woman working in urban specially housewives who work as bus conductor. The problems in this research are (1) How are the characteristic of housewives who work as bus condector? (2) How is the division of the domestic role and the role of the public housewife who work as bus conductor?.The title of this research is : “Housewife Who Works as Bus Condector”. The research aimed to find out the characteristics of housewife who work as bus conductor abd to know the division of domestic role and public role of housewife who work as bus conductor. In this study the subject of research amounted to six people. Subjects in thus study are housewives who work as a bus conductor , have a husband and have children. Data collection in this research is primary data obtained from research subject by observation and indepth interview and secondary data obtained from trans metro pekanbaru. after doing this research, housewife who work as bus conductor that has age ranged from 30-40 years and pursued the last education level that is one Diploma one (D1)and five others high school (SMA) equal. The role of houseviwe who work as a bus conductor becomes divided when working and when not working. Housewives can fulfill their roles such as serving the husband, taking care of the child and doing homework when the housewife is off to work as a bus conductor.Keywords : Housewife, Working, Conductor Bus, Role

Abstract

The research to see how cohesiveness were build from communication perspective. In this research, I have my focused to Fresh Teen Community. The intention of this research are to reveal communication pattern thai done by The Fresh Teen Community to build a cohesiveness. I using Grup Think theory from Irvin L. Janis as a basic of this research. This theory said that ini cohesiveness were build by a high intensity communication, high enthusiasm of the group members , and they always try to find a consensus as a priority.The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Researchers pointed to four key informants and the informants support as resources. To compile the data, researchers using interviews, observation, and documentation study. Be descriptive presentation to answer questions that have been identified previously.Results of this study indicate that the Fresh Teen Community always apply good communication and intensively to build group cohesiveness. Group cohesiveness is evident from the compactness and solidity that exists among the members of the group. The study also revealed that communication had a big role in improving group cohesiveness.

Abstract

Promotion is one of important factor which have to be in a program at a company for introducing their product in to people. Including the companies engaged in tourism industry that spread throughout Indonesia. Batam is one of cities in Indonesia that has many companies engaged in tourism indutry because of the location near by neighbouring countries like Singapore and Malaysia. One of that company is PT. Fantastik Tour & Travel who has been in business since 2004. In development of the company, PT. Fantastik Tour & Travel carried out several promotion programs. This research aims to find out what promotion that has been carried out by PT. Fantastik Tour & Travel and how to carry out the promotion with promotion mix as a concept. Data of this rearch was obatained from observation, interviews, and documentation, with data collection techniques using key informant purposive sampling. Based in this research, explain about what promotion mix that carry out by PT. Abstract

In the higher level of competition, companies must be able to face competitors offering similar products. Competition between brands of each product in the vehicle will be more sharply captured the interest and attention of consumers. Realizing that the company PT. Agung Automall have prepared themselves by offering after-sales services that include maintenance and repair and supply of spare parts for the Toyota customer partners.This study aims to identify and analyze the brand image and brand trust car Etios Valco, and to determine the interest in buying the car Etios Valco and to investigate the influence of brand image and brand trust towards buying interest car Etios Valco at PT. Agung Automall Pekanbaru. This research is descriptive quantitative statistical calculations. The statistical analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression. The population in this study is the partner of customers in 2015 at PT. Agung Automall as many as 40 people. While the sampling technique uses accidental sampling method, ie the sampling technique based on chance.The results showed that the respondents said "agree" the brand image of Toyota is perceived by the consumer is a brand that is highly qualified and respondents said "strongly agree" to trust the brand Toyota is perceived by consumers is very high, as well as the respondents said "agree" interest in buying products car toyota perceived by consumers is very high. Brand image and brand trust significantly influence buying interest car Etios Valco at PT. Agung Automall Pekanbaru. This is evidenced by F count variable brand image and brand trust by (12.243) greater than> F table (3.355) and Sig. (0,000) <0.05. Meaning is the brand image and brand trust simultaneous influence on consumer buying interest car Etios Valco at PT.
