Abstract

Damaged forests can cause disasters such as floods and landslides. This also happens in one region of Indonesia, Meranti Islands district have also suffered damage from natural disasters or human activity itself, forest destruction worst that happened in the district of Meranti namely mangrove forests, where the destruction of mangrove forests could impact beach abrasion. The purpose of this study was to determine how the Department of Forestry and Plantation Meranti Islands regency in running communication strategy in the program implementation mangrove forest and land rehabilitation.In this study the authors used a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques are grouped through observation, interviews and documentation. The informant in this research were six people who were taken by purposive sampling techniques, ie 5 civil servants and 1 community. Interactive data analysis type the researchers use to describe the results of research into techniques for data analysis and data validity checking researcher using triangulation techniques.The results in which the communication strategy is executed in accordance with the steps of planning strategies, ie; to identify their communication, communication media selection and assessment destination of the message. From interviews and observations of researchers got field indicates that the Department of Forestry and Plantation Regency Meranti has been doing business in recognizing the target of communication, working with some of the media, both print and electronic media as well as services to create and examine the messages to be conveyed to the public related program mangrove forest and land rehabilitation.Keyword: Communication strategy, Foresty and Plantation Service Meranti Island, Mangrove.

Abstract

Development success is largely determind by the ability of officials in formulating policy or program to be implemented by government officials in the community groups that participate jointly implement programs or policies that have been decided who should be endorsed or supported by the existing infrastuctureWith the precision of government see the potential developed by a region, as well as the construction carried out did not result in new problems it is necessary environmental conditions been created for a well-ordered society with the creation of gender equality therein. This is necessary in order to avoid overlapping in the implementation of policies implemented.In this study, the method used is qualitative approach. Whereas the data analysis technique used is describing a situation or event. This research was conducted in Pelalawan district sub-district village Kerumutan Lipai Bulan. Whereas the object of this study in the implementation of an integrated program implemented in the village P2WKSS Lipai Bulan. With the focus on the development program launched by the government district seen from the factors that influence the success of the programs impelemented Lipai Bulan this village. Theory used is the theory advanced by Budi Winarno.After doing some research, the writer can see the success factors that are owned by the district respresented by agency child protection women’s empowerment and family planning in implementing an integrated program P2WKSS namely the availability of regulation, the district government’s cooperation with the private sector, adequate resources, facilities and infrastructure, then the last one is the budget. With these factors there is also a great good governance in the implementation of programs that do.Keywords: Implementation, program mechanism, gender mainstreaming.

Abstract

This research tries to explain how the diplomacy conducted by Indonesia in the SouthChina Sea dispute resolution. Where this dispute involves many countries both within theASEAN region and outside the ASEAN region so it is feared can disrupt the stability in theregion, and impact on the interests of Indonesia.This research uses the perspective of neorealism, neorealism is a new form of realism,neorealisme more emphasis on cooperation and role of institutions - both government andnon-government institutions in international relations. This research uses diplomacy theory,soft diplomacy, and preventive diplomacy.The South China Sea dispute has been going on for more than twenty years, someways of settling have been tried both between disputed countries and internationalorganizations such as ASEAN, but still not effective. Indonesia as an ASEAN member countryand a country bordering on the South China Sea who is also a natural leader within theASEAN region realizes that a protracted dispute will have a devastating impact on the regionand the interests of Indonesia itself. Therefore, Indonesia took part in the process of settlingSouth China Sea dispute, this can be seen from the diplomacy conducted by Indonesia,namely through first track diplomacy and second track diplomacy.Keywords: South China Sea, Dispute, Diplomacy Indonesia

Abstract

Palm sugar is one of the brown sugar whose basic ingredients are made from the original ingredient of the original palm sugar juice, then processed into brown sugar after it is wrapped using banana leaves. Palm sugar has long been known to its presence by people who visit the road or who have long lived precisely in Sialang Jaya Village, Rokanhulu, Riau. The purpose and purpose of this study is to determine the adaptation strategies contained in the home industry business activities of palm sugar makers using a descriptive qualitative approach and the selection of informants conducted using Purposive Sampling techniques, namely the acquisition of data from informants based on criteria or limits certain restrictions. The criteria or limitations are palm sugar makers that are relatively long in producing and selling palm sugar in the area. The data collection technique used in this research is observation, interview and documentation. Conclusions from the results of this study mentioned that the adaptation strategies contained in the home industry of palm sugar making businesses consist of 2 parts, such as adaptation typology and adaptation strategies. There are 5 components of adaptation typology namely Conformity, Innovation, Ritualism, Retreatment, and Rebelion. As well as 3 parts in the adaptation strategy, in the home industry business of palm sugar makers include: Active Strategy, Passive , and Network. All of these elements are intertwined and interrelated with the business of making palm sugar, thus being able to provide a way and be able to defend their home industry business from various problems and phenomena today. Abstract

This study, entitled "Profile of the organization Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate (PSHT) In the city of Pekanbaru". The research was conducted in the city of Pekanbaru, with the aim to determine how the profile and role of the organization Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate (PSHT) In the city of Pekanbaru. The method used in this study Qualitative research methods Descriptive namely, that the discussion of this study are presented and analyzed in the form of words of description (description) with a qualitative approach. In addition, this study also was supported by the implementation of in-depth interviews to sources (informants) as determined by the researchers first. From the results of these interviews, the obtained descriptions are very supportive to the validity of the data that are the focus of research. Based on the results of the research, that the profile of the organization Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate (PSHT) Pekanbaru Branch includes several things such as: At the beginning of establishment of PSHT Branch of Pekanbaru, figures PSHT Founder Branch of Pekanbaru, Stewardship Branch PSHT Pekanbaru, Javanese proverb meaning the Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate (PSHT). As for the role played by the Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate (PSHT) Branch Pekanbaru is His role in the field of sports, in society, and also a role in preserving the culture of martial arts that (pencak silat) SH Terate. Abstract

Kampung KB is a unit of area equivalent to Rukun Warga, hamlet or equivalent, which has certain criteria, where there is integration of population program, family planning, family development and related sector development systemically and systematically implemented. One of the cities appointed for the development of Kampung KB program in Riau is Dumai City. Government of Dumai City is committed to improve the health and social welfare of the community in realizing quality families, one of the efforts is made by promoting Kampung KB in a number of villages and sub-districts. The purpose of this research is to know the process of disseminating information of reproduction function, what method used in counseling, and what obstacle are felt.This research used qualitative research method. the subjects of the study consisted of 9 persons selected by using purposive techniques which is determined based on criteria of informan. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. To achieve the validity of data in this study the authors use the extension of participation and triangulation.The results of this study indicate that the process of disseminating information is by implementing counseling.First, before conducting counseling, communicators are selected by decree. The extension messages are informative and persuasive in accordance with the terms and guidelines. Media and communicant has been determined and determined by BKKBN. Second, the method used is individual approach and group approach.Third, while the obstacles that are felt during the counseling process include time constraints, the belief that many children a lot of sustenance, and low educational backgrounds inhibit the understanding of society.Keyword : Counseling, Kampung KB, disseminating information

Abstract

Determination of Regional Regulation No. 9 of 2011 on traffic arrangements that are commands, prohibitions and instructions on the roads is a safeguard for the public against risks inflicted due to accidents, traffic awareness and reduce the death rate from traffic accidents. The Regulation aims to Siak district government could more forcefully to improve facilities and infrastructures as well as completing the road markings, as well as running a firm sanctions on driver and riders who likes violating traffic signs or road markings. In fact this regulation after enactment has not made a significant impact even in the last four years the number of accidents is increasing in Siak. It can be seen from report of the Siak Police Departement from year to year. The purpose of this study to analyze implementation of traffic management that are commands, prohibitions and directions on roads in Siak and to know the factors that influence it. This study uses qualitative descriptive methods, data collection techniques by observation and interviews in which the parties involved in the implementation of the policy as an informant. Research using the theory of Van Meter Van Horn. These results indicate that the implementation of traffic management that are commands, prohibitions and directions on roads in Siak has not run optimally due to awareness and society comprehension will a traffic and safety sorely lacking, as evidenced by the many people who commit violations annually and also causes them to lose their lives. That factors become an obstacle in the implementation is the lack of action that makes a deterrent effect on the society, lack of driving directions, and public awareness is still lacking in safety.Keywords : Implementation, Traffic, Road Marking

Abstract

PT Bangkinang Industry and Trade, Pekanbaru City, known as the abbreviation PT P & P Bangkinang. Based on research conducted by the author in the field and also supported by company data that this company has operations that have a negative impact on the environment around the company. The negative impact that occurs is the smell of rubber disrupts the health of residents, especially underage children, which is considered very sensitive and also makes food sellers around the company lose due to the smell of the waste of the company getting stung. The pros and cons of the existence of rubber companies in the midst of residential areas, the occurrence of waste that disrupts the health and comfort of the community. Based on these problems the company overcame it by conducting public relations activities in improving the image through the help of the company.The purpose of this study was to determine the PR activities and obstacles faced in improving the image through company assistance. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation and documentation. The subjects involved in this study were determined based on a purposive technique consisting of Deputy Management, Head of Personnel, Assistant Head of Personnel, employees and the community who received CSR program assistance. Data analysis techniques are carried out by using the interactive data analysis model of Miles and Huberman using the technique of checking the validity of the data, namely triagulation of sources and extension of participation.The results of the research in the field, that the activities carried out by PT. Bangkinang P & P Pekanbaru City in enhancing its image through company assistance with internal and external public. Its internal public activities are not yet effective because the company PR does not cooperate with other parties in providing assistance. Whereas the external activities of the PR do not have the media as a tool to improve the image through the assistance of the company. In carrying out public relations activities there are obstacles that the public always complains about is because the company's nominal assistance is fairly minimal.Keyword: Public Relations Activities, Image, Company Assistance.

Abstract

The research purpose to determine the role of parents and religious behavior of children with analyze correlation between the role of parents and religious behavior of children. Role is pattern of behavior or action should be taken by parents in educating children religion. This research conducted at the northern Kampar district Sawah subdistrict Kampar. Population of this research is all heads of families residing in the village Sawah field north of Kampar districts and have children aged adolescent age range 13-15 years who attend school or junior high school equivalent listed in the records of population. There are some elements in this research, the first provides religious education which includes about doing prayers, fasting in Ramadan, reciting Al-Quran, gave infak and respect for older people. The second control the implementation of the child worship, control activities carried out by taking action if children do not practice their religion. Third, encourage children to worship that parents set an example and encourage children worship together. Fourth, be patient that parents are expected to be patient in educating religious behavior of children. This research technique is descriptive quantitative, to describe the results of research in the field with numbers, then described by words or narration. Based on the research in the field found that role of parents in Sawah village is considered to be good for 91,48%, the education of children in the Sawah village also rated as good by 95%, there is a strong correlation between the role of parents to religious education of children with result is 0,9 and a significant correlation of 0,01, means there is significant correlation between the role of parents to religious education of children.Key words: Role, Parents, Religious Education, Children

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the store atmosphere and store location on customer satisfaction. Samples in this study were taken as many as 100 respondents and techniques used Inccidental Sampling approach. The data in this study using survey method through questionnaires filled by consumers. Data were obtained by using multiple regression analysis. From the results of this study shows the variable Store Atmosphere has a positive and significant impact on Consumer Satisfaction at Texas Chicken Plaza Citra Pekanbaru. And Store Locatin variables have a positive and significant impact on Consumer Satisfaction at Texas Chicken Plaza Citra Pekanbaru. Then simultaneously Store Atmosphere and Store Locatin positive and significant influence on Consumer Satisfaction at Texas Chicken Plaza Citra Pekanbaru. For further research it is suggested to increase the number of respondents in the sample calculation.Keywords: Store Atmosphere, Store Location, and Consumer Satisfaction
