Abstract

This research was doing at Rambah Hilir Tengah village at Rambah Hilir Subdistrict, The aim of this research is to know about value of child in Family (case study is mentally disabled child in special education school at Rambah Hilir Tengah village. Focuss topic at this research is the value of child, that is economic value and social value in mentally disabled’s family. The writer used kuantitative method and used purposive sampling technik, data instrument is observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. This research is talk about mentally disabled child have advantages and deficiency that any in family at Rambah Hilir Tengah village, so that value of child in mentally disabled’s family is a value that must accounted every value of child in mentally disabled’s family have a characteristic and every value that any in mentally disabled’s family, so that the Researcher got a answer that value of child like ekconomi value and social value in mentally disbaled’s family Rambah Hilir Tengah Village, so that value can be applied and be accepted in family’s institute. In economic value that any at mentally disabled’s child’s family consider in education facet, because with economic that make parents consider to give a good education to their child. Cause in the education is very important to make a better future to every child, that for mentally disabled’s child or normally child, so for that child can get education and can study at school with cause of economic factor, that in mentally disabled child’s family that have capable or haven’t capable, so that with Economic value that in mentally disabled family have load or not with condition, and with social value in this mentally disabled family Rambah Hilir Tengah Village will consider that social value will be faced every family members in receive mentally disabled child that have defiency and adventages of each, and happieness that feel of every family members in mentally disabled child’s family at Rambah Hilir Tengah Village. Keyword’s :value of child, economic value, social value

Abstract

DotA 2 game is one of the online game played by millions of people around the world. That vast scale led to the birth of huge online community so that the only way for them to communicate with each other is through virtual communication. Dota 2 players assume that winning the game is their priority so that they will do various way to be win, one of those is by applying psywar strategy that means war by words through the chat and interaction through the web. This study aimed to fiind out the meaning dennotative, connotative, and myth then how it applies in psywar strategy of DotA 2. This study methods is Roland Barthes semiotics analysis which consist of the meaning of dennotation, connotation, and myth. Data collected by used documentation study, observation study, literatur study, online data searching, and interview. The object being analyzed is the screenshoots in DotA 2 game as much as 5 unit analysist. The results showed that there are three meanings according to Roland Barthes semiotics. The meaning of denotation is the words conveyed by the players by using the English phrase, The meaning of connotation is a hidden meaning and not in accordance with the meaning of chat that the players delivered literally, while the myth is a habit of DotA 2 players around the world that result in conventions through Their experiences during the game DotA 2. Psywar strategy implementation is done by instigating, insulting opposing players, and pretending to surrender or known as fake GG.Keywords: semiotic, game, DotA 2

Abstract

Development of technology make a change on promotion activity. In the beginning only door to door, but now more efficient because of utilise print media or electronic media. One of a company use an electronic media to promote their product is Bukalapak, they are promote a new characteristic that is negotiation of price on television. The main goal of this research is to know an influence of Bukalapak advertising on television toward buying interest of students in Riau University. The theory in this research is Theory of S-R (Stimulus – Response). The method used in this research was descriptive quantitative with used accidental sampling technique and total of sample as many as 96 respondents. Technique of data accumulation in this research did by way of spread a questionnaire directly to respondents. To know an influence between X variable and Y variable, researcher used analysis of simple regression linear and to process the data result of questionnaire, researcher used SPSS Program for Windows version 23. Based on result of simple regression linear in this research, coefficient of regression value is Y = 22,104 + 0,806 X by significance level 0,000. Definitely smaller than α = 0,05. Concluded Ha accepted and H0 rejected, so there is an influence of Bukalapak advertising on television toward buying interest of students in Riau University as big as 20% dan classified category of weak. This is because television is not a main media for student to obtain an information, they are choose smartphone for internet access to satisfy information needed. Abstract

This study aims to examine the persial and simultaneous influence of working capital management and receivable policies on profitability. Where independent variable in this research is working capital management and receivable policy while dependent variable is profitability. The sample used is secondary data derived from the financial statements of automotive manufacturing companies & components listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) period 20010 until 2014This study uses secondary data from the company's financial statements. Samples and sampling using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and test of coefficient of determination. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 20.The results of this study indicate that the variable of working capital management and receivable policy in persial (t test) does not affect the profitability of automotive sub-sector manufacturing companies & components listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The simultaneous test results (f) show no effect of working capital management variable and receivable policy on profitability at automotive sub sector manufacturing & component listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange.Keywords: Working Capital Management, Receivables Policy, and Profitability

Abstract

This study describe about implementatioan Paris Agreement in indonesia’s forest policy. Paris Agreement which agreed by Indonesia and others country gave new dream for world future after increased the climate change in the world. In This script will look at issue and problems with International Relation paradigm thought of study, analize, theory and perspective.This reasech use conceptual base with green political concept, and implementation of paris agreement be a focus discussion. This research have national state level, constructivis perspective and green theory of methodology qualitative research.The implementation that have done by Paris Agreement are agremment of Indonesia legislative assembly have made the constitution of Republic Indonesia (Nomor 16 Tahun 2016) about validation of paris Agreement To The United Nations Framework Convention On Climate Change. That constitution valided in Jakarta, at October 24th 2016 by President Of Republic Indonesia, Joko Widodo and valided by ministry of law and human right, Yasonna H. Abstract

The study was initiated by the low ratio Electrification Development Programmee electric rural areas in Rokan Hulu, it is characterized by many of the villages that have not getting electricity. In addition there is an imbalance between the proposal to electricity the countryside with the parties in the field. The purpose of this research is to figure out how the New Development Program electric rural areas by the Department of Mining and Energy of the Rokan Hulu, and to determine what the factors that affect the New Development Program electric rural areas by the Department of Mining and Energy of the Rokan Hulu.The research was carried out in the Department of Mining and Energy of the Rokan Hulu. The theory used in New Policy of Van Metter and Van Horn. As Van Metter and Van Horn said that there are six things to note that the implementation of the program can run well and achieve satisfactory results, size and purpose of Policy, Resource, Characteristics of Implementer Agent, Interorganisation Communication and activity of implementer, the Economic Environment, Social and Political Parties. The method used is descriptive approach a qualitative, and the techniques used in the collection of data is interviews, observations and documentation.This research result indicates that the New Development Program electric rural areas by the Department of Mining and Energy of the Rokan Hulu hasn't been going up, it can be seen from The purpose of a program that has not show fully because there are many rural communities that have not been getting the electricity, and is now the program has just reached ± 60 %. The Program electric rural areas is still hampered by two factors : the limited budget the government and the lack of innovation in harnessing the potential of energy. If a limited budget then it would be hard for implementor to achieve the objectives of the program and innovation in the implementation of the program is still lacking then the success of the program to be getting longer.Keywords : Implementation, Programme, Electric rural areas.

Abstract

About the rights and freedoms of individuals, many related question to the problem of discrimination to women at the level regional and the world. To reduce the discrimination of women, need a gender equality for women to have the same position with men. One of the things that can be do by the government to seek a gender equality is through the women’s empowerment by government’s organization. This research want to see the efforts of Badan Pemberdayaan Perempuan Masyarakat dan Keluarga Berencana (BPPMKB) Kota Pekanbaru to increase the women’s position.The purpose of this research is to know how the efforts of BPPMKB Kota Pekanbaru to increase the women’s position in the stage of public in 2014. The study was made by using Qualitative Approach with qualitative descriptive methods. The location of research is BPPMKB Kota Pekanbaru. Technique of collection the data is interview and observation.The result of the research can be know that the efforts by BPPMKB Kota Pekanbaru to increase the women’s position are coaching and counseling to women, do coordination with related division, and do empowerment to women. Most of the empowerment that have been do to advance the women’s economy. The empowerment that do from coaching and counseling by BPPMKB Kota Pekanbaru still need to be expanded and improved back quality.Keywords: Empowerment, Women, Stage of Public, Gender Equality

Abstract

In late 2018, the news about Lion Air JT 610 crash is one of the most talked news in internet. This fast spreading of information have some effects. Therefore, news exposure about Lion Air JT610 plane crash can affect the image of Lion Air. The purpose of this research is to prove whether there is effect of Lion Air JT610 plane crash news exposure on internet towards the image of Lion Air or not. The method used in this research is explanatory quantitative. Data collection techniques are done by questionnaire and documentation. The population in this research are the airline consumers at Sultan Syarif Kasim II Airport Pekanbaru. This research used accidental sampling towards the respondents. To know the impact of two variable used in this research, the researcher used simple linear regression analysis. Questionnaire data processing is conducted with Statistic Product and Service Solution SPSS for Windows version 16.  Based on the result of simple linear regression in this research, regression coefficient is Y= 26,676 + 0,216 X with significance level 0,03 and smaller than  = 0,05. Based on determination test the result is 4,9% which means there is a very weak effect of Lion Air JT610 crash news exposure on internet towards the image of Lion Air airline at Sultan Syarif Kasim II airport Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of providing compensation and work motivation on employee morale partially and simultaneously. This study used a questionnaire as a data collection tool that was distributed to 49 respondents to the employees of the General Section of Arifin Achmad Hospital in Riau Province. Data from the questionnaire were then processed using descriptive analysis and statistical analysis using SPSS version 2003 by conducting validity tests, reliability tests, simple linear analysis, multiple linear analysis, analysis of determination (R2) and hypothesis testing by testing t test (partial) and F test (simultaneous).The results showed that the results of testing the first hypothesis were giving compensation to employee morale, t count (5,284)> t table (2,011), meaning that the compensation variable had a significant effect on employee morale. The second incentive for employee morale is t count (8,233)> t table (2,011), meaning that giving incentives influences employee morale. The results of the F test count (46.405)> F table (3.17), meaning that compensation and work motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance. Keywords: Giving Compensation, Work Motivation, Employee Work Spirit.

Abstract

Instagram @infopku_ is one of social media account which often sharing information about Pekanbaru or Riau, including information about forest fire in 2016 and make Indonesia increasingly synonymous with smoke disaster. Instagram @infopku_ share it through photos along with caption which was uploaded. Photo is one of the nonverbal communication media, it is important to examine the meaning of it. In this research, the writer wanted to see the message of @infopku_ photos.The method used qualitatively with Roland Barthes semiotic analysis which is part of the data analysis method in representative qualitative research. The data used was taken from Instagram and some references from internet. After collecting the data, it was analyzed to get the results.The findings of denotation meaning research showed events were happening directly.The connotation meaning explained that forest preservation is human responsibility.The mytical meaning of the five photographs generally contained of facts about the phenomenon that happened could be a warning to be more vigilant in dealing with it. Through the five photos was delivered to the whole Riau society especially to care about the condition of the forest whch is rich of benefits.
