Abstract

How the government of Indonesia handled the prevail of education, are tobuild SMP Terbuka in Pekanbaru city. Because one of the problemthat faced Pekanbaru city iseducationand doesn’t maximal in implementation of SMP Terbuka. The main problem tocompleted the implementation of SMP Terbuka is how to ensured childrenwho graduated from elementary school continue into Junior High School throughSMP Terbuka for the less fortunate. All of the children will geteducationifthe infrastructure is available. This condition can’t be separated fromthe government of Pekanbaru cityto facilitate the infrastructure of education. The research aims to determine implementation of Ministerial Policy of Education and Culture Number 53 Year 1996 About Junior High School Terbuka(Case Study SMP Terbuka Pekanbaru)and examine the factors that influenceimplementation of of Ministerial Policy of Education and Culture Number 53 Year 1996 About Junior High School Terbuka (Case Study SMP Terbuka Pekanbaru).Theoretical concept used ispublic policy, education policyand implementationin Van Meter and Van Hornwho said thatthere are 6 variablesin implementationsuch as: 1. Standards and policy goals, 2. resource, 3. Communication between organizations, 4. Characteristics of implementers, 5. political, economic and social condition, 6. Dispositon.Result of the research showedthat implementation of Ministerial Policy of Education and Culture Number 53 Year 1996 About Junior High School Terbuka (Case Study SMP Terbuka Pekanbaru)is not optimally yet. Known from bad communication, between the government, school and society. This is caused by limited human resources,infrastructurelikethe budget is insufficientfrom Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Riau to achieve SMP Terbuka and education facility is insufficient, social and economic condition of the society is underprivileged. Abstract

Increasing population growth has resulted in increasing volume of waste, especially in urban areas. Various problems arise from the accumulation of garbage which results in environmental pollution. One of the major breakthroughs in waste management in Indonesia is through the waste bank program. Social capital must be built by the Bukit Hijau Berlian Waste Bank to be accepted by the community. This study aims to find out how the process of waste management in the Bukit Hijau Berlian waste bank and also to find out the elements of social capital contained therein. The design of this study is descriptive qualitative using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of this study are that the social elements built by the waste bank ofBukit Hijau Berlian are 3, namely networks, norms and trust. The network that was built by the garbage bank of the Bukit Hijau Berlian is by forming a unit waste bank and also a garbage collector as a buyer. Some of the norms that must be obeyed by customers are the pricing of different waste and also withdrawal of savings that can only be done at the latest 6 months. The most important element of social capital is the trust that built the Bukit Hijau Berlian Waste Bank. Even though the price at the waste bank is cheaper, the community still chooses to sell the garbage to collectors because the waste bank has a savings system and also education obtained from the waste bank. Every party involved must work together so that the waste management process becomes more effective. Norms must also be obeyed so that there is trust between the parties involved.Keywords: Social Capital, Waste Bank

Abstract

In general, diffable students will study at special school, but now there is innovation which called inclusive school. Through inclusive school, teenager student can study at public school and interaction with students that has a normal physical and mental. The condition of difable make acceptance from their friends diverse, some people accept them in a good way and be friends with them, but there are some people bullying their deficiency. Good or bad the communication from their environment, will affect teenagers difable self concept. The main purpose of this research is to determined and understand the perceptual components, the conceptual components, the attitude components and communication experience of diffable teenagers in SMPN 31 Pekanbaru.This research used qualitative research method with phenomenology. Subject in this research were three people. Technique to collect data was through observation, interview, and documentation. This research used data validation technique through the extend of participation and triangulation.The result of this research explained that diffable teenagers in SMPN 31 had diverse self concept. In the perceptual component, the positive side were their physical looks normal, showed neat and beatifull appearance and thinking that they were pretty and had ideal body. While negative side were they felt different from their friends. Then the conceptual components, teenager had positive self concept were confident, independent, be responsible, diligent and polite. The negative side were shy, lazy, unconfident, and spoiled. In the attitude component the positive side were diffable teenager able to socialize, friendly and easy to interact. But the alienated and distinguished feeling were the negative side. And then diffable teenager had a pleasure communication experience was like had happy and proudly feeling, be accepted, given attention and motivation. But also they had a bad communication experience was like insulted, be damned and their friends taken forcibly their money at school.Keywords : self concept, teenager, diffable, inclusive school

Abstract

This study uses secondary data from 10 sampled the financial statements of property and real estate companies and sampling using purposive sampling techniques. Analysis of data using the multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, f, and test the coefficient of determination. Analysis of data using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 20.The results showed that the variables financing decision and dividend policy partially (t test) significantly affects the firm value on the property and real estate companies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The results of the study simultaneously (f test) showed a significant effect of the variable financing decision and dividen policy to firm value in property and real estate companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI).Keywords: financing decisions, dividend policy, the firm Value

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of situational leadership style and work motivation on employee job satisfaction (study on Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru). Situational leadership style as Variable (X1), Work Motivation as Variable (X2) and Job Satisfaction as a variable (Y).The method in this research is quantitative with SPSS program, where the samples used are employees of Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru that is as much as 56 respondents. In accordance with opinion (Roscoe, 2009) that the appropriate size in the study is 30 to 500. That number can already represent the population. Technique of collecting data through questionnaire.The result of this research conclude that situational leadership style variable and work motivation have significant influence to employee's job satisfaction Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru.Keyword: situational leadership, work motivation, employee job statisfication

Abstract

The purpose of this study namely: (1) to find out the History of Line Shamans in Saik Village (2) to find out how the Ritual Treatment Procession of the Line (3) is to describe How to Trust Shaman Lane in Saik Village, Kuantan Mudik District, Kuantan Singingi District, Riau Province. As for the informants, the Shaman in Saik Village is considered to know about the Path Ritual and in depth. This research method is qualitative by using the theory of Sacred Durheim and Profane Theories, Carl Gustav Jung's Archetype Theory and Ferdinand de Saussure's symbolic theory.The Kuantan Singingi community still believes in the existence of fine creatures that inhabit a place or object that is quite old. One example is the wood of the Track, the Path itself is made of wood that has been aged for hundreds of years and comes from the jungle in the wood. This wood can only be taken by people who understand about Subtle Creatures, namely Jalur Shaman. The equipment used and the track assistants in the process of the Jalur Shaman Rituals contain symbolic meaning, in the process the Jalur Shaman rituals are carried out by finding a good day of breaking to release the path to the Pacu jalur arena in order to get good draws, lime that has been incantated or prayed for and prayed for and kemeyan to call the Jalur ghost used in the Jalur Shaman Ritual as an effort Jalur Shaman Village Saik avoid attacks from Jalur Shaman opponents who try to harm the Jalur ghost, Jalur, and Pacu, in addition to chanting spells or prayers asking to be protected during the match the runway is aimed at Allah SWT, the mantra is also recited for the jalur ghost to help in Pacu Jalur competition. Keywords: jalur Shaman, Sacral, Ritual

Abstract

Green city is a program issued by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry in 2007. This program is for local governments to implement environmentally sound development. Kuantan Singingi regency is one of the regencies that try to apply Green City concept, this program is coordinated by the Environment Agency (DLH). The purpose of this program is to realize Kuansing with the concept of Environment. This program involves many parties, namely the public, private parties, offices, and companies in Kuansing. Many implementations have been done to realize this green city, one of which is planting tree seeds on the protocol road. The purpose of this research is to know communicator strategy in implementing green city, audience strategy, message strategy and media usage in implementing green city program.This research uses qualitative research method. Informant of this research is 5 people consisting of 2 people from Environmental Office of Kuantan regency singingi and 3 people of society which is chosen by purposive. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation. Data validity technique used in this research is triangulation and extension of participation.The result of the research shows that the communicator strategy of Environmental Office is to involve people who are experts and experienced in environment such as Environmental Science Lecturer and Environmental Expert. In addition, it also involves people who have influence on the community such as Village Heads, Adat Stakeholders and Religious Leaders. Strategy Determination of the audience by the Office of the Environment is to choose the nearest audience from downtown, the city of Kuantan Bay and surrounding areas. Consists of the general public, Office and School and Company. The Message Strategy by the Office of the Environment is by using a variety of messages, messages conveyed in seminars, training, banners, advertisements. The message in general is to realize the concept of green city kuansing. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect organizational climate and organizationalcommitment on work performance of the nurses at RSIA Eria Bunda Pekanbaru. It wasproposed two indenpendent variables and one dependent variable, namely organizationalclimate and organizational commitment as indenpendent variables and nurses performanceas a dependen variable. This research methods are descriptive and quantitative by usingSPSS 21, where the sample used is nurses at RSIA Eria Bunda Pekanbaru with 71respondents. To take the sample,the writer used cencus method. Technique of collecting datawas through questionnaire and interview. The result ofanalysis using the validity test,reliability test, determination test, simple linear regression test, multiple linear regressiontest, t test, and f test. As the result, it can be seen that both the organizational climate havesignificant on nurses performance, that organizational commitment have significan effec onnurses perfomance, oranizational climate and organization commitment have a significaneffet on nurses performance.Keywords : Organizational Climate, Organization Commitment, Nurses Perfomence.

Abstract

This research was conducted to the community in Luai Village, Kuantan Mudik District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, especially at the Pacu Jalur Rayon III Festival in Kuantan Mudik District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research aims to know what kind of efforts that the communities do during the Pacu Jalur Festival and to know the effect of Pacu Jalur Festival on the communities’ social and economic. The theory used is Greenwood that consists of tourists visiting a place causing social interaction between local people and tourists which can lead to changes the patterns or values of communities’ life. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This research was conducted in Luai Village, Kuantan Mudik District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The subjects of this research were 12 people, namely 7 Traders, Head of Youth, Head of Luai Village, Kuantan Mudik Police Chief, Head of Kuantan Mudik district and 1 visitor. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling technique, where sampling was taken by selecting objects (informants) based on specific criteria which already set by the researcher. The sources of the data are Primary Data and Secondary Data. The analysis of the data used in this research is interactive data collection techniques. The results of this research are the efforts of communities at the Pacu Jalur Rayon III Festival in Luai Village, Kuantan Mudik district, Kuantan Singingi Regency are various such as selling the foods, drinks, selling the fruits, selling clothes of children and adults, and there are businesses such as provide of motorbike and car parking, provide of stands (paid viewing places) and also a children's playground or often called a balloon house. While the effect on communities’ social side is Pacu Jalur can be the way for communities to mutually friendly and enhance a sense of family. The effect of the Pacu Jalur festival on communities’ economic side is increasing of economic income and opening job vacancies.Keyword: Pacu Jalur, Economic Social, Kuantan Singingi Communities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze how much influence the communication climate to employee performance Mother and Child Hospital Eria Bunda Pekanbaru. The method used is descriptive research with quantitative methods. The population in this study were all employees at Women and Children's Hospital Eria Bunda Pekanbaru. Samples are drawn with a probability proportional sampling technique. The sampling method used was probability sampling with simple random sampling technique. The scale of measurement used is a Likert Scale. Data collection techniques used in this study is the observation and questionnaires. As for the analytical technique used is the descriptive statistical methods. The results showed that the relationship between communication climate (independent variable) with employee performance (the dependent variable) has a strong relationship level. Communication climate contributed considerable influence on the performance of employees at the Mother and Child Hospital Eria Bunda Pekanbaru.Keywords: communication climate, employee performance, rsia eria bunda pekanbaru
