Abstract

This research explains Indonesia's efforts to improve competitiveness advantage of Muslim Friendly Tourism (MFT) between the OIC countries. The expenditures of Muslim tourists spending was USD 145 Billion in 2014 and is estimated to be USD 200 Billion in 2020. This lucrative prospect shall encourage many countries of the world to be a main actor in this industry particularly the OIC member countries to work on MFT professionally, including Indonesia. Indonesia has abundant muslim friendly destinations and potential resources to be developed more in order to atract international tourist and gain fruitful national income. on the contrary by those facts, Indonesia's position remains in Group B which defines as the best position for growth under anothe members of OIC MFT developer countries.The author has collected data from various resources predominantly TP3H and COMCEC to analyze Indonesia's efforts to improve its MFT competitiveness advantage. The theoretical framework used in this study is the perspective of realist-mercantilism, nation-state as unit analysis, the concept of national economic interests, the theory of competitive advantage.This study demonstrates that Indonesia’s efforts to enhance its MFT competitiveness advantage between OIC member countries is proven to be as competitive one measured by progressive quality development regarding to MFT competitive advantage (ca) through the main components such key faith-based needs, demand side key themes, supply side key themes.Keywords: Muslim Friendly Tourism (MFT), Competitive Advantage (CA) Indonesia, Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)

Abstract

Human being is a caused of garbage existance because every human activities produce garbage. The quick Number of Human increasing in city, affected to increasing of garbage. Increasing not following by repairing and developing garbage management infrastructure so that garbage problem be a complexity. Pekanbaru is a quite rapidly developing city not only in infrastructure but alsonumber of population, investment, industry and trading which not free from garbage problem yearly.Highest garbage production founded in Tampan Regency because it’s one of quick population growth so that should take special attention. Pekanbaru Environmental and hygiene services is responsible departement to responsible of garbage management in Tampan Regency. To overcame this problem, government release local regulation (perda) number 8 year 2014 about garbage management. Factly, in Tampan still find much garbage in every side of road long day.The purpose of this research is to know how this local regulation implemented. This research use qualitatif method with descriptif data assesment. In data colecting, researcher use interview technique, observation, and documentation with use key informan as source information.The result of this research reveal that Pekanbaru Environmental and hygiene services already schedule garbage wasting time and serve garbage infrastructure management. But inimplementation, the action is not maximal caused of minimum of infrastructure and less participating from citizen to reach the purpose of policy. Caused of less participating from citizen because minimum or no communication from government to citizen.Keywords : implementation, waste management, Tampan Regency

Abstract

The 2019 presidential election will be the venue for a rematch of the 2014 presidential election. President Joko Widodo once again confronts Prabowo Subianto, lieutenant of retired general and founding figure while leading the Gerindra. In this regard, the mass media, both printed or electronic, plays an active role in conveying information about the election activities. News is an result of a construction process which contains a information which is believed the truth by a media. News framing was doing by a media have an ending a receive message by audience with a purposes for give a message to audience about facts which already arranged such a way good. The purposes of this research is have to known how mass media make a reality construction in reporting Prabowo-Sandi campaign about analysis framing.The type of research used a qualitative research with an approach framing analysis. This kind of research is analysis descriptive which purposes for describe an character of news in viva.co.id things about campaign of Prabowo-Sandi. analysis data technique used framing analysis with approach of Zhongdang Pan and  Gerald M.Kosicki which consist a sintaksis, script, thematic, and rhetorical.Result of this researh showing us if viva.coc.id try to build a construction of which approach by the truth of reality. Which means viva.co.id try to build social reality in our society to a step closer to the truth of reality of the truth if Prabowo and Sandiaga Uno have a type of personality which powerful, assertive, and patriotic but humble and polite. Viva.co.id have a consistent frame a tragedy about campign which does by Prabowo Subianto and Sandiaga Salahudin Uno to a better way. But this framing effort still on a  reasonable ways because viva.co.id still try to keep the neutrality and objectivity on news delivering.Key words: news, reality construction, framing analysis.

Abstract

Decree of the Kampar Regent No. 414-98 / I / 2018 regarding the surrender of the village market and the local government market in the village to the village government in Kampar District stated that Tapung District has 13 village markets whose management has been fully delegated to the local village government. One of them is the Tanjung Sawit village market. In 2017 the management of the village market in Kampar Regency is still under the authority of the local government of Kampar Regency. Entering 2018, the Kampar Regent's decision issued that village market management be left entirely to the village government. Tanjung Sawit village market has an area of 3 hectares (Ha) and is the oldest village market in Tapung District, Kampar Regency. Although the Tanjung Sawit village market is the oldest and widest market in Tapung Kanb Kecamatan Kampar District, its management is still not optimal in terms of planning, utilization, security and maintenance, as well as guidance and supervision.This study aims to determine the market management of Tanjung Sawit village in Tapung Subdistrict, Kampar Regency in 2017-2018 and find out and analyze the factors that are hampering the management of the Tanjung Sawit village market, namely: Vaccine management of Tanjung Sawit village market, the absence of village regulations regarding management village market, lack of budget for village market management, and lack of market management structureThe results of this study indicate that the management of the village market of Tanjung Sawit Tapung District, Kampar Regency is not optimal. Can be proven by the number of village market buildings that were badly damaged due to the absence of village market development planning, the lack of utilization of market infrastructure that caused the market retribution results in 2017 and 2018 to not reach the target, market security and maintenance that were not carried out optimally and the lack of guidance and supervision towards market management. Keywords : Management, Village Market

Abstract

This is research aims to explain the interest of Indonesian government published policy on quota import restriction of wheat flour. The government purpose of this policy is to protect the domestic industry by applying this quota restriction system domestic industry can compete with import products. The countries that applied quota import restriction are Turki, Srilanka and Ukraina. This policy created based on the regulation from minister of commerse republic of Indonesian with number 23/M-DAG/PER/4/2014.The theories used in this research is foreign policy theory the author used merchantilisme approach and nation-state level analyze. Data of this research was obtained from books, journals, articles, official documents and websites that support the hyphotesis.The results of this research shows that there is on economic politic interest in that quota import restriction. This policies made to provide assisteance and profit to the domestic industry, because with this policy the import products are no longer flooded of domestic market and domestic industry can be compete with import products.Keywords: policy on quota import restriction flour, flour protection of trade order

Abstract

This study aims to determine the interests of workers in the District of Mandau in 2013-2015, a means of fighting for the interests of workers in the District of Mandau in 2013-2015, as well as Human Resources (HR) in Bengkalis Regency in 2013-2015. As for the background in this research is the problem of fulfillment of the normative rights of uncooperative workers in Mandau Sub-district, while the oil and gas sector becomes a source of income that contributes greatly to the increase of local revenue (PAD) in the area. But it is unfortunate that it is not followed by the increase of welfare for the community, especially for the contract workers who work in the company contractors partners PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia (PT CPI). The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, where in this research, the researcher tried to explain about the problems that happened between 8 (eight) PT. CPI and workers working in the company. Then the data collection techniques in this study using in-depth interview techniques and documentation of data collection and facts related to research problems. Further data obtained from the research location will be processed and analyzed further by way of describing the facts that have been found from the location of the study. From the results of interviews to informants and based on the data and information obtained by researchers when conducting research, it can be concluded that the demand for the settlement of problems related to the non-fulfillment of the normative rights of the workers is the interests fought by workers in the District of Mandau Bengkalis Regency on year 2013-2015. Then in the struggle for these interests, there are 4 (four) means employed by the workers in solving the problem, namely Labor Union, Labor Law Regulation, Bipartite Cooperation Institution, and Industrial Relations Dispute Settlement Institution. In addition, to improve the quality of Human Resources (HR) in Mandau District, especially in terms of potential management of the oil and gas sector, the local government of Bengkalis Regency builds a Vocational High School (SMK) based on Petroleum, so as to improve the competitiveness of the community, especially the younger generation in Mandau Sub- Regency of Bengkalis.Keywords: Labour Relations, Labour Interest, Fulfillment of Normative Rights, Mandau Sub-district.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to find out how the effort and obstacles of ex-prisoner in doing adaptation. In choosing the sample of this research, the writer used purposive sampling technique which choosen bases on criteria. The quantity of informant in this research was 5 person. The theory used in this research is adaptation theory constructed by Robert. K. Merton. After analyzing the data researcher found that the exprisoner tried some effort in doing adaption there were change the way they clothing and their attitude, follow the habitualof their society and build interaction. The most effort who give significant effect to the ex-prisoner is build interaction and follow the habitual of society. Then the obstacles that faced by ex-prisoner is they attract their themselves from society because of unconfident to build the interaction. Abstract

Gambier is a kind of sap that has been compacted from the processing of leaves and branches of the gambier plants. The Gambier product is a hot water extract from the gambier leaves and branches that are already sedimentated and then molded and dried. Indonesia is the most important supplier of world gambier needs. However, the way of the cultivation or the processing is still traditional and moreover the farmer who mixed the gambier with soil and another material made a bad effect for the quality of the gambier. The method that is used for this study is purposive sampling, the data source that is used in this study include primary and secondary data, the location of this study was conducted in Kenagarian Lubuk Alai, Kapur IX District of Lima Puluh Kota Regency, the research informan Wali Nagari Kenagarian Lubuk Alai, Secretary Nagari Kenagarian Lubuk Alai, Kaur Kenagarian Lubuk Alai, Wali Jorong Kenagarian Lubuk Alai, dan Badan Permusyawaratan Kenagarian Lubuk Alai. The concept theory that is used by the researcher was coordination theory by Hendayaningrat in Moekijat which is consist of: responsibilities, processes, regularly regulations, unity of actions, coordination objectives. This study used qualitative research method with reviewed the data with qualitative descriptive, the data collecting technique was interviews, observations and documentation. To guarantee the validity of the data, the researcher used triangulation of data sources. From the result of the study, it is known that the coordination of gambier quality control Nagari Lubuk Alai has been categorized good. It can be improved from the increasing of the gambier quality Nagari Lubuk alai and can be seen that from five indicator that was taken by the researcher, four indicator went well and one indicator still not good. Abstract

Tourism is one of the utilization of natural resources that can be pf high economic value for a regination that manage natural resources into a tourist spot that can attract visitors both from within and from abroard, in addition to econimic value is higt and can create jobs and encourage growth invesment, tourism can foster and enhance a sense of pride in the nation so that it wi grow more concerned about the people of a nation. This research is aims to determine the potential of which is owned by the attraction of Sipiso-piso waterfall and to describe the develoment as well as factors inhibiting and supporting the imlpementation of tourism develoment Sipio-piso Waterfall by Departement of Cultural and Tourism Karo.This study used a qualitative research method with descriptive data analysis. This concept of using tke teory of develoment tourism theory. In collecting data, the researcher used interview, observation, and documentation. By using key informants as a source of information and triangulation techniques as a sourch in view of data validation.The results of the research is implementation of develoment tourist attraction of Sipiso-piso Waterfall in district Karo has not been ralized with good. Abstract

This research departs from reality where a among students is very enthusiastic in impression management through instagram story features with the perfection of lifestyle that is displayed in order to reach the desired image, In using Instagram stories feature, the student strives to gain sympathy and attention by becoming a figure the ideal in the eyes of his followers. But there is a visible imbalance between the lives of Selebgram who are shown in Instagram stories with real life in the daily lives of the Selebgram. The purpose of this research is to find out how the front stage and the back stage of the user instagram stories feature among students.This reasearch used qualitative methods with a phenomenology approach. The research subjects consisted of three students, which obtained using the Snowball technique. The data collection technique in this research are using the depth interview, observation and documentation, in order to achieve the validity, the author used the participation extension and triangulation.The results showed that the front stage of this impression management by uploading selfie, OOTD or Outfit of the Day activities, endorse, hedonic lifestyle, and communicating in Indonesian mixed with English and tending to use slang and tendencies. Manner or Perception that want to be displayed by the selebgram is the impression of an established and successful adult girl and slang and contemporary style and likes to have friendly and loving nature by many people. While appearance (appearance) The attributes they wear when they live their lives as Selebgram are using make up, wearing branded clothes, using branded bags, branded shoes, using a car and showing a high amount of income or in the form of money. Unlike the front stage, the results of observations on the back stage of celebrity activities are as students and business people. (manner) behavior when they are in their everyday environment, namely expressive girl, simple life and while (appearance) that is without make up, using a negligee, using ordinary T-shirts, using ordinary shorts, using flip flops, using a bicycle motorbikes and cars.Keywords: Impression Management, Selebgram, Instagram stories, Student in Pekanbaru City
