Abstract

A high rate of school dropouts and students who do not continue their education, especially at primary school level, reflects the still limited access to education that could reach the community. Pekanbaru City Department of Education as part of the governance system Pekanbaru implementing the policy and technical education has the responsibility and authority to improve the quality of education in the city of Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of Pekanbaru City Department of Education in addressing the dropout at the level of primary school education from 2012 to 2015 year. Data analysis method used in this research was qualitative descriptive analysis which seeks explained by phenomena that exist and explore all the facts relating to the issues discussed based on the results of research: the role of Education Department of Pekanbaru in addressing the dropout at the level of school education basic Year 2012-2015.The study states the role of Pekanbaru City Department of Education in addressing dropouts at primary school education level Years 2012-2015 not optimally performing well for the Impact Indicators (Impacts) is still weak supervision of Pekanbaru City Department of Education regarding the management of BOS funds so that there are indications BOS funds misuse. If the government really wants to liberate Indonesia from the child's education cost of education / school, then in case the Government to subsidize the education BOS with a larger amount, so there is no school that levy levy funds from students / parents.Keywords: Role of Education Office of Pekanbaru, Dropouts, Elementary School, Pekanbaru.

Abstract

News presentations on a rubric on the newspaper media is the result of coverage by a journalist. In addition to journalist, for the existence of news or the location of news on a rubric in the newspaper media will not be separated from the interaction editor. In sports coverage packed trough the rubric total sports, editors with teams have full autority in the determination of news, the selection of news topics and publishing. After reporters returned by reporting news acording to coverage in the field, the news will be filtered, peeled and packaged in one term “editorial kitchen” this isi where the editorial team apply the policy in determine the the news. This research aims to determine the role of editors in determining the news on the total rubric sports in Riau Post newspaper, knowing the setting of news on the Arena page and know the process of news coverage on the page Ayo PSPS.This research uses qualitative research type with descriptive approach. Subjects in the study were responsible for Riau Post coverage, Riau Post journalist, and the person responsible for the page chosen by purposive technique. This study uses data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documantation. To achieve the validity of the data in this study , the authors use extension of participation and triangulation.The results show that first, the person who has authority in determining the news in this total sports rubric is the person responsible for the page. Secondly, the the setting of news arena page is based on the editorial policy or responsible for the page, which is putting forward the regional side, prioriziting high value news. Third, tehe news coverage process on the page Ayo PSPS the same as the coverage of sports news in general, which begins with the process of planning the coverage either based on innitiative and direction . Abstract

Attraction Waterfall Lubuak Batang one of the attractions waterfalls in District 50 City which has a height of approximately 50-70 meters. The uniqueness of this waterfall is flanked by two high stone walls and in the middle of the stone wall the waterfall is flowing beautifully, even during the dry season this waterfall is no drought and access to this tourist attraction is difficult to achieve and not far Of the Community involved.This study aims to determine the development of accessibility in waterfall Lubuak Batang and to find out how the response of visitors to accessibility to this attraction. This research uses qualitative method with survey approach, that is find out visitor response about accessibility at Lubuak Batang waterfall tourism area. Where the researchers tried to explain how the community in the development of accessibility As a questionnaire distributed as many as 50 people. Abstract

Tradition jalang menjalang ninik mamak kemenakan is a hereditary tradition that every nephew's grandchildren in the village of Ngaso together visiting ninik mamak, sorak, government in a place that has been arranged in such a way and there is a series of communicative events in carrying out tradition jalang menjalang. Tradition jalang menjalang ninik mamak kemenakan held as a mark of respect or uphold ninik mamak bye grandchildren's niece and keep the relationship between the ropes ninik mamak kemenakan located in Ngaso Village. The purpose of this study is to know the communicative situation, communicative events, and communicative acts in the tradition jalang menjalang ninik mamak kemenakan in Ngaso Village.The method used in this research is qualitative method with ethnographic approach of communication. Infoman in this research is tribal parents, ninik mamak, and niece. Techniques of collecting data using interviews, observation, and documentation.Based on the results of the research, the communicative situation of the traditional event jalang menjalang ninik mamak in outdoors that is a multipurpose field Ngaso Village and the present ninik mamak, tribal parents, cheers, government figures and children's grandchildren nephew. Communicative events jalang menjalang ninik mamak Includes Type of event is a type of greeting, traditional music, silek, tombok adat, prayers and eat together. Topics in the form of tribute and hospitality. Objectives and Functions for the sign of respect or uphold mamak, hospitality, and introduce the customs of Ngaso Village to the grandchild's grandchild. Participants namely ninik mamak, tribal parents, cheers, government figures and all the children's grandchildren every tribal nephew. Verbal and non-verbal Messaging. The contents of the message in the form of custom tombok give advice by ninik mamak to the children and grandchildren nephew and prayers. The sequence of action that is pot hammer, playing instrument calempong at night, picking compan jinni by dubalang, welcoming jinni kompek with silek, and process goes tradisi jalang menjalang mamak. nteraction rules are available when welcoming, welcoming jinny and at the time of the event menjalang ninik mamak. Norms there are norms of civility, mutual respect, religious and customary values. Abstract

This study aims to find out how the synergy of Siak District Government in developing siak as the center of Malay culture and to know how the implementation of synergy actors involved in developing Malay culture and who are the actors involved in the synergy. This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive research type, which can be interpreted as problem-solving process investigated by describing the state of the research subject based on the facts that appear during the study which then continued with based on the existing theories.Siak Regency is one of the autonomous regions in Indonesia which has the authority to plan and manage its development independently, in the long-term development planning (RPJPD) of Siak Regency in 2005-2025, it has formulated the vision and mission to achieve the long-term goals. The long-term development vision of Siak Regency is as the center of Malay Culture in Indonesia that is prosperous and prosperous in 2025, in that vision there is a great determination to realize the ideals as the center of Malay Culture in Indonesia. The grand design of Malay Culture development will integrate various development sectors in realizing Siak Regency as the center of Malay Culture in Indonesia, both from the physical side (facilities and infrastructure) and from non-physical side (values, customs and other cultural products).Key words : Synergy, Government, culture, Trully Malay

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the job satisfaction and organizational commitment to turnover intention. The sample in this study was taken as many as 95 respondents and the technique used is census technique. The data in this study using survey method through questionnaires filled by employees. Data were obtained using simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study showed that job satisfaction had a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. Organizational commitment has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. And simultaneously job satisfaction and organizational commitment have a significant effect on turnover intention. Subsequent research is suggested to use other methods in researching turnover intention, for example through in-depth interviews of respondents.Keywords: Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment, And Turnover Intention

Abstract

Alodokter's mobile application is one of the best online service providers in Indonesia that provides health service. One of them is to provide the quality of online-based services and the best quality of information to consumers. Both of these methods are stated to be able to make consumers not move to other parties and provide user satisfaction for consumer. This research is based on the stimulus-response theory that describes communication as a simple process of action and reaction, starting from the stimulus and ending with a response. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence qualityof electronic service and the quality of information on alodokter mobile applications to user satisfaction on students of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Riau. The method used in this study is the quantitative explanatory method. The data collection technique in this study uses a questionnaire with a sample of 174 respondents taken based on the accidental random sampling technique. To find out whether there is an influence of independent variables on the dependent variable, the researcher uses multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test and coefficient of determination test with the help of SPSS version 20. Based on multiple linear regression analysis, the research regression equation is Y: 1,963 + 0,083X1 + 0,175X2. Through the t test and F test, the significance value for each test is smaller than α = 0.05. The coefficient of determination test in the result is 62, 2% which is in the high category. Wich meanss there is high influence qualityof electronic service and the quality of information on alodokter mobile applications to user satisfaction on students of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Riau.

Abstract

This study is entitled "Guiding the Village Head Against Posyandu in Baru Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency in 2017" This research is motivated by the inadequate guidance and implementation of the Posyandu in Baru Village, Siak Hulu Subdistrict, Kampar Regency, which based on Regent Regulation No. 6 of 2017 concerning Guidelines for Implementing Public Health Insurance and Kampar Law No. 15 of 2009, in which the Kampar District Government instructed health socialization and monitoring on a quarterly basis, but the implementation of the socialization and assistance had not yet been carried out. The formulation of the problem in this study is "How is the Development of Community Health Centers Against Posyandu in Baru Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency in 2017".          The method used in this study is a qualitative method that explains data descriptively. Data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation. While the data source used is primary data obtained from the research location in the form of research informants and subsequently supported by secondary data in the form of document data.The results of this study indicate that both the guidance and application of the implementation of posyandu have not been fully implemented either in the implementation of child birth and mortality reporting, procurement of posyandu facilities and infrastructure, socialization by posyandu cadres and distribution of vaccines and vitamins to posyandu in posyandu in Baru Village Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. Keywords: Development of Posyandu, Socialization of Vaccine and Vitamin Distribution

Abstract

Heavy vehicle motor vehicle tax in Indragiri Hulu Regency has decreased from the last 3 years. The purpose of this study is to make a strategy carried out by the Management of Rengat Revenue Management in increasing tax revenue for heavy equipment vehicles. Disseminate factors that hinder the strategy of increasing the tax revenue of heavy motor vehicles in the Revenue Management Unit in Indragiri Hulu Regency. The theoretical concept used is the Concept of Increasing Tax Revenue Strategy According to Sitorus in (Haerah, 2017: 266). This study uses descriptive qualitative methods. From the results of the study, it was found that the Strategy for Increasing Tax Revenues of Heavy Equipment Motor Vehicles in Indragiri Hulu Regency was not optimal due to inhibiting factors in the form of Direct Billing Process, Non-Comprehensive Counseling, MK Decision Regarding Heavy Equipment Tax, Lack of Public Trust in the Government and Lack of Utilization of IT (Information and Technology) in Tax Payments. Keyword: Improvement Strategy, Tax

Abstract

Tourist motivation is very important, where tourist motivation is an encouragement in a tourist to travel to meet their needs, both biologically and psychologically. This study aims to find out about the Motivation of Tourists at the Cian Cui Tourism Event in Selatpanjang to find out the motivations of tourists visiting the Cian Cui Event in Selatpanjang Meranti Islands Riau Province, to find out the constraints of cian cui event organizers, this research uses descriptive quantitative methods, to describe the problem in tourist visits the sample used was 100 respondents, data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results of the study show that Tourist Motivation towards the Cian Cui Event in range score 2598 - 3398                                                             Keywords: Tourist Motivation, Event Cian Cui
