Abstract

Public Market Simpang Baru is one of the public markets managed by the Pekanbaru City Government through the Pekanbaru City Market Service. To maintain the existence of the people's market, regulation and revitalization required by building the facilities and infrastructure needed to improve the image of the people's market which is clean, safe, comfortable, efficient and competitive. To support the management of the public market, Pekanbaru City Government stipulates Regional Regulation Number 09 of 2014 concerning Management of the Public Market, Shopping Centers and Supermarkets. So with this the local government through the Pasar Simpang Baru UPTD has a responsibility in managing the Simpang Baru public Market.This study aims to describe the Local Government Capability in Managing the Simpang Baru Public Market in the Handsome District of Pekanbaru City in 2017. The location of this study was conducted at the Simpang Baru Public Market in Tampan District. Data collection techniques are carried out by interviews and documentation. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive.The results of this study indicate that the capability of the Simpang Baru Market UPTD in managing the Simpang Baru Public Market has not gone well. This can be seen from the manager of the Simpang Baru Public Market which has not been clearly managed because in the Simpang Baru People's Market there are two managers namely the Simpang Baru Market UPTD and the private community, then the Simpang Baru Market's human resource capacity is not sufficient to help manage Simpang Baru People's Market , Finance that is inadequate in supporting the management of the Simpang Baru Public Market, because the collection of market retribution has not been maximized and the lack of supervision carried out by the Pekanbaru City Market Service and the Simpang Baru Market UPTD towards the Simpang Baru Public Market.Keywords: Capability, Management, Public Market

Abstract

Beauty with white-skinned being ideal for women, due to the fact that the of beauty has been constructed by some idelogies that linked to the flow of information giuen by the media making the most of societies or sororities disired to look beauty and attractived with the white-skinned. While the community of Indonesian mentionedl their skin as brown or yellow ripe as type V. Nevertheless, among women who are proud of their beautiful brown-skined because the meaning of beauty for each individual varies based on the knowledge and understanding in constructing the meaning of beauty. This research aims to know the meaning of beauty and experience of communication for brown-skinned coed Riau University. This research used qualitative research methods with the phenomenology approach. The research subject consists of five brown-skinned coeds University of Riau, who selected by using two categories 3 people used incidental sampling technique and 2 people the used snowball. The technique of data collection was conducted through interview, observation, as well as documentation. The results of this research showed that are as follows the firstly, the meaning of beauty for brown-skinned Coed University of Riau which consist of the outside beauty that is fair skinned, good-looking, clean, and face. While the beauty from inside the soul, the heart, intelligence, mind and personality. Secondly, the experience of communication are categorized into two categories, the sweet communication experience be a good acceptance, support from family, neighbors, friends, girlfriends and humour that make family relationships become close and harmonious, get more attention, get a beloued call, get a lovely compliment, unique characters and not boring. And bitter communication experience such as rejection from family, neighbors, friends, opposite sex, the subject of humour, get mock, insults or pressure, get a new nicknam, less confident with the opposite sex, and hard to match the right clothes with skin color.Keyword: meaning beauty, Coed, Brown-skinned

Abstract

This research aimed to found factors which influenceemployee’s performance of CV. Jaya Karya Baru in pekanbaru. thosefactors were motivation and work environment. employees who have highwork motivation will give positive effect for organization, thereforeorganization purpose reached and could work well. Hypothesis examinationcarries out by spreads questionnaire about 20 sample of the employees atCV. Jaya Karya Pekanbaru, analysis that used was validity test, using likertscale on SPSS computer program version 16 by using double linearregression analysis. Work motivation variable consists seven factors whichresponded using the presentage of formula and would beanalyized by using Quantitve Description Technique.linear regression analysis methode on the Likert scale could concludewheter that work motivation variable have both positive and significantinfluence to employee’s work motivation. therefore, hypothesis which statedthat motivation have influence to employee’s work could be accepted.Simultaneously both work motivation and work environment havepositive and significant influence to employee’s performance and could beconcluded that both work motivation and work environment have significantinfluence to employee performance of CV. Abstract

This research explaining about humanitarian intervention of United Nation Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Syria Arab Republic conflict that began in 2011. Syria president, Bashar al-Assad protested by Syrian in March of 2011. Assad government used arm forced to handle the protester which led conflict started to blow up. Since the conflict began Syrian children faced situations that risk their right. Children were killed shot by gun, explosive shelling, detention and executions, deprivated by medical serviced and others. Conflict itself affect children mental health and in need of phycosocial service. Syrian children have limited acces for their basic need.This research use Pluralism perspective of International Relations. Pluralism believe state is not the only actor in international world. This research is also guide by international organization theory and role concept. Fact, data, arguments, and theorical framework of this research formulate by using qualitative description.UNICEF has keep it focus on violation of Syirian children’s right during the conflict and the effect of the humanitarian crisis to the children. UNICEF operate programes such children protection, work with other humanitarian actors for Syrian Humanitarian Respon Plan, suggest No lost Generation inititative in education sector and complete by humanitarian action in Health, WASH and Non Food Item sectors. Abstract

This research entitled "Community Movement in Establishing Kenegerian Three Upper Baturijal Lorong As Indigenous Villages In Peranap District Indragiri Hulu Regency Year 2014-2015". This form of research is based on the existence of Law Number 6 Year 2014 About the Village. Based on the provisions of the rules for determining customary villages, then the three areas of Lorong Baturijal Hulu areas to be custom villages in Peranap District. How is the community movement in realizing the customary village in Kenegerian Tiga Lorong and its failure factor. The purpose of this study is to describe the movement and efforts of the community and internal and external barriers in forming the Kenegerian Three Lorong Baturijal Hulu as a custom village in Peranap District Indragiri Hulu Regency 2014-2015. The benefit of this research is as a material of scientific information for researchers who want to study the movement of society in forming custom village. The research method used is qualitative descriptive by using basic descriptive qualitative research analysis with interactive analysis model. There are two theories used, namely the theory of social movements and the concept of custom village formation. The results showed that in the social movement stage decline ending failure, and there are factors of failure of community movement in determining Kenegerian Three Lorong Baturijal Hulu as custom village in Kecamatan Peranap.Keyword: Movement of Society, Desa Adat

Abstract

Transportation Conflict Management in the City of Pekanbaru (Case Study of Conventional Taxi with Online Transportation) is an effort to resolve conflicts carried out by related parties in this case conventional taxi drivers and online transport drivers to get a solution to the conflict between the two organizations. This study aims to determine conflict management in the transportation sector in the city of Pekanbaru (a case study of a conventional taxi with online transportation) and factors that hinder the conflict management of conventional taxis with online transportation in the city of Pekanbaru. The focus of the study in this study is the management of conflict between conventional taxis and online transportation in the city of Pekanbaru. Informants in the study were the Head / Staff of the Land Transportation Sector, Head / Staff of Transportation in the City of Pekanbaru Transportation Service, online transport drivers, and conventional taxi drivers. The research method used is descriptive qualitative data collection techniques are interviews. The results showed that the Riau Province Transportation Agency in resolving conflicts that occurred between conventional taxis and online transportation had not been maximized. This is because there are still online transportation operating even though they do not have licenses in accordance with Minister of Transportation Regulation No.108 of 2017 so that conventional taxis that already have permits feel they do not get justice from the government, this is the main cause of conflicts between conventional taxis and transportation on line. The Riau Province Transportation Agency is also unable to facilitate the two parties in conflict to mediate that has been directly requested by the conflicting parties so that the two conflicting parties can express their wishes and find a solution to the conflict between them. Factors influencing Conflict Management in Transportation in the City of Pekanbaru (Case Study of Conventional Taxi with Online Transport) include Competition and Regulations that are not implemented. Keywords: Conflict Management, Conventional Cab, Transport Online

Abstract

The world of education at the level of kindergarten to the level of higher education must pay attention to science and technology and international language skills to anticipate the arrival of international languages into world languages. El-Shaddai Mulia School is a Kindergarten School that is present in the midst of the community to help early childhood become God-fearing children and skilled in technology and speak English, we know that speaking in English is quite difficult, even though it is difficult but the El-Shaddai Mulia school has succeeded in creating students who are skilled in English and this success is inseparable from the success of the teachers in the school, so the El-Shaddai Mulia school has achievements in the field of English.          This study used a qualitative research design. The research was conducted in the EL-Shadai Mulia Kindergarten in Pekanbaru. Informant selection is done by porposive technique. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews, and documentation. While data analysis techniques use qualitative descriptive analysts. For the technique of checking the validity of the data used in this study is the extension of participation, triangulation and adequacy of references.          Instructional communication used by the teacher in the learning process in the El-Shaddai Mulia Kindergarten in Payung Sekaki Subdistrict went well and was responded positively and enthusiastically by the students. This is because when giving instructions, the teacher uses a variety of instructional communication methods. The methods include problem solving methods (Problem Solving), methods of discussion (question and answer), practice methods (exercises), Demonstration Methods, Play Methods and Singing Methods. These methods greatly help the learning process in El-Shaddai Mulia Pekanbaru Kindergarten so that they can create generations that are noble, and have character.

Abstract

Terminal AKAP Dumai inaugurated in 2004 With Classification Type A motor vehicle can serve a common function types of service Inter City Inter Province (AKAP) / or transport across State borders, transport Inter-City In Province (AKDP) urban transport / or transport pedesaan. Terminal is managed by the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) terminal specially formed by the Department of Transportation in the operation of the terminal and the terminal fee collection. However, the implementation of the UPT less than the maximum that causes Terminal function was not optimal. Therefore, the performance of this AKAP Terminal Unit needs to be assessed.The purpose of this study is to analyze the performance of UPT terminal AKAP, which by doing research on the performance of UPT terminal AKAP is expected to improve the quality of future performance.This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation and documentationBased of the research result, it was known that the performance of UPT terminal AKAP Dumai in terminal management has not been implemented properly. The concept of theory used is the theory of performance according to Ratminto and Atik. Indicators in this study, such as: Tangibles, Responiveness, Responsibility, Accountability and Transparency. There is a deficiency in the indicators of responsibility. Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of PT. Arara Abadi at a business owned by on (BUMKep) Tuah Serantau Kepenghuluan Rantau Bais, Tanah Putih District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The problem of this research is the assistance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) conducted by PT. Arara Abadi at the Tuah Serantau State Owned Enterprise (BUMKep) did not have a positive impact.               This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The types of data are primary data and secondary data, primary data obtained directly from the informant. Meanwhile secondary data is supporting data or strengthening primary data. Data collection techniques carried out by interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study used the Miles and Huberman model, which included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.                             The results of this study indicate that the Implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of PT. Arara Abadi at the Tuah Serantau State Owned Enterprise (BUMKep) has been running with. But the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance of PT. Arara Abadi at the Tuah Serantau State Owned Enterprise (BUMKep) did not give a positive impact on the welfare of the community. As for the obstacles to the success of the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in this Entrepreneurship-Owned Enterprise is the Director of BUMKep, Experience and understanding of the Beneficiary, Weather and Land Availability Group. From these constraints resulted in the Implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of PT. Arara Abadi at the Teng Serantau State Owned Enterprise (BUMKep) Tuah Serantau did not have a positive impact on the welfare of the Rantau Bais Kepenghuan community.Keywords: Implementation, CSR, BUMKep

Abstract

This study trying to uncover the motivation student work. The phenomenon of students who college while working nothing new among students. The phenomenon of students who college while working on the found in the Campus FISIP Riau University in Pekanbaru City. A variety of reasons background students who college, work is a factor economic, a time, and want to be independent. Based on the phenomenon on, then the formulation of the problem ia about the reason student work, allocation time between the college and work, and family background student work. The theory in use this study is the theory Need For Achievement to David McClelland and theory Motivation to Maslow. The research in use is Snowball Sampling, then the number of the subject there are 8 subject students FISIP. The results of research suggest is motivation to work that a student is a factor economic, a time, and want to be independent to improve the quality of what to do subject, also to plan what would in do after it, that inisiation career could continue in develop and recognize the potential away from each of the subject.Keywords : Motivation, College, Work
