Abstract

This research aim to know the customer satisfaction on the cake, and to know customer satisfaction in the price. This research is a quantitative research. As for the population of this research is consumer eat and drink in L’Cheese Factory, sample of this study totalling 100 person. Based on the research was conducted, can improve customer satisfaction on the cake so as to increase the benefit of sales.Keywords : Costumer Satisfaction, Cake.

Abstract

Perhentian Raja sub-district with a population of 21 091 inhabitants only 1,371 souls who already have birth certificates and as many as 15 253 inhabitants who do not have birth certificates. Only 8.25% of people who have a birth certificate, so it can be said public awareness of the birth certificate of ownership in the District Perhentian Raja is very low when compared to the sub-districts of lainnyan in Kampar regency.This study aims to determine the level of participation and barriers to community participation in Possession of birth certificates in the District Perhentian Raja Kampar Regency Year 2014-2015.This study uses qualitative research methods with descriptive research, which can be interpreted as troubleshooting processes are investigated with described the state of the research subjects were based on the facts that appear during the study were then followed by the popularity of existing theories. Based on the survey results revealed the level of community participation in performing the maintenance of a birth certificate in the District Perhentian Raja is still low, it is not appropriate to the number of births per year. Where the average annual community maintains birth certificates 15% of the birth rate. While the internal constraints of society itself and also external constraints that come from neighborhoods and local governments.Keywords: Participation Spontaneous Habit / Consciousness, Obedience Regulations

Abstract

             The Seed Independent Village Program (PDMB) is a follow-up to the Indonesian president Joko Widodo's program in realizing food independence, the effort of the collar is to increase productivity by increasing the quality of the seeds used. The aim is to increase capacity to meet the needs of seeds in their respective regions. The purpose of this research is firstly how to Evaluate the Implementation of the Independent Seed Village Program in Rokan Hulu Regency 2015-2017. Secondly, to find out the factors that hinder the evaluation of the implementation of the Seed Independent Village Program in Rokan Hulu Regency. The theoretical concept used by the author is the Public Policy Evaluation Criteria in the implementation of the program by William N. Dunn. This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive studies.             The results of this study indicate that the evaluation of the implementation of the Independent Seed Village Program (PDMB) in Rokan Hulu Regency from the six indicators of the policy evaluation criteria used is effectiveness, there are still a number of villages where the PDMB has not succeeded in achieving the target program. Efficiency, the amount of effort done by program implementing actors by providing assistance and providing counseling, training or guidance. Adequacy, the funds provided in the implementation of the program depend on the use or utilization of each PDMB and some villages feel they are sufficient on the funds provided. Flattening, this program is given evenly to the people whose villages are categorized as seed prone. Responsiveness, the response of the community is not good because community complaints are not responded to be followed up. And accuracy, this program since 2015 is still used as the right solution to increase seed production, especially in their respective regions. Several factors hampered the evaluation of program implementation such as lack of human resources in program implementation, local regulations regarding the program, lack of government handling of unstable weather conditions and lack of socialization by related actors in program implementation. Keywords: Policy Evaluation, Food, Seed Independent Village Program.

Abstract

Educational support for poor people was a donation for poor society which taken from provincial government budget for avoiding a probable social risks. Administration Bureau of Social Welfare of Riau Province that handled the administation affairs of the educational support for poor people faced some problems of implementing the policy. They were the process of implementing and long time of money cashing. The concept of influencing factor used Warwic in Tahir (2015). In this policy impelementaion, there were some factors should be attended, such as 1) organization capability; 2) information; 3) support 4) pontential allotment. For getting the informant, this research used purposive sampling. The data wereobtained from two sources. The primary sources were from the interview and the result of observation. The secondary data were from book, document, and data from Local Secretariate of Riau Province. The result of the research showed that many factors influenced the policy implementation of educational support for poor people at Administration Bureau of Social Welfare in Local Secretariate of Riau Province. They were the problems of local budget, responsibility, and human resources.Keywords: Implementation, Policy, Educational Support.

Abstract

This study discusses how a slogan to become National Branding can affect the number of foreign tourists, especially those implemented by the State of Malaysia, namely "Malaysia, Truly Asia". Since it was first formed in 1999, this slogan has been able to bring significant tourists. The number of foreign tourists is increasing every year, so it succeeded in bringing in more than 7.4 million tourists and helping the country's economy during the economic crisis in 2008. Abstract

Social movement was a part of social structure which consisted of typical pattern that manage social group and organization. Student as a well-educated elite group had an important part for building an history in a country. Based on ideological and intellectual prowess, student build a “movement of change” which commonly known as “student movement”. In this context, student have a significant part to developed a community awareness, political and social changes as the next step of the movement. Student social movement was mandatory to shield the truth and managed the social life in an environment and also government exerted in a certain country. The aim of this study was to acknowledged the faculty of social and political sciences Riau University student movement in 2017 and also to determine some factors that influenced it. This was a descriptive study with qualitative analytics methods. This study took part in faculty of social and political sciences Riau University based on the concern of unhappiness in student community for their study facility and environment. The writer also had an adequate knowledge for the situation and condition in the place to made a more suitable for analysed of phenomenon in the environment. Sample collection had been done by observational, interview and documentation by location. The data analysis was done by qualitative analysis. We found that the faculty of social and political sciences Riau University student movement in 2017 had several methods to describe their interest. Student movement had a “softer approached” with audience that followed by peaceful demonstration or vice versa. Student movement also encompassed the journalistic media to improve student awareness for their campus issues. It was happened as a response from the limitation of transparency in financial management of their campus which made a student charge.Keyword: Campus, Student, Demonstrate

Abstract

Dumai is a border region closest to neighboring countries in mainland Asia which is separated by the Malacca Strait. The port infrastructure that will be built in Dumai and melaka will connect Indonesia with melaka and moreover with mainland Asia. Dumai port is also the port with the highest export value in Sumatra. This study aims to explain about the Interest of Indonesia in approving Dumai-Melaka Economic Corridor Multimoda Transport Project within IM-GT.The research method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative which uses secondary data such as books, journals, reports, and the others sources. The theory used in this research is new regionalism with the level of analysis is the nation state.The research shows the reasons of Indonesia approving te bulid infrastructure between Dumai and Melaka named Dumai-Melaka Economic Corridor Multimoda Transport Project within IM-GT due  to several factors, both economic and political factors. The economic factor include the potential sectors of Dumai that will be developed by Indonesia. The political factor include the purpose of Indonesia to increase connectivity between Indonesia and Melaka  in particular, and also with ASIA land. Keywords : Interest, Connectivity, IM-GT, infrastructure, Transportation, newregionalism

Abstract

The achievement of Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu (DPMPTSP) Provinsi Riau in improving the compliance of public service standards is inseparable from several special points which include the value of administrative documents, electronic and non-electronic facilities and infrastructure and facilities, and adequate human resources in carrying out public services. However, the availability of non-electronic public service information (booklets, pamphlets, etc.) is still focused or in the DPMPTSP office, and inadequate facilities and infrastructure of special needs, infrastructure for people with physical disabilities (eg wheelchairs, guiding lanes, special toilets ) and breastfeeding room.In this study, the concept of theory used is the strategy theory proposed Ellitan (2008) as a research instrument, where to measure the strategies applied to an organization or company include; technology strategy, innovation strategy, and operation strategy. This research uses qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including interview, observation and documentation study.The results showed that the strategy applied DPMPTSP Riau Province to run optimally. This is evidenced by the presence of human resources / service providers in providing services, service systems and availability of information electronically and non-electronically, online licensing innovation, service provision availability, online complaint management, performance appraisal of service users through Community Satisfaction Survey SKM/ e-voting, and questionnaire), as indicator of compliance standards established by Ombudsman RI. The strategy adopted by DPMPTSP of Riau Province has benefited the service user's certainty and convenience, but there are some weaknesses in the indicator in service for users with special needs services that are not fully supported by special needs (such as special needs, wheelchair and so on ), as well as the form of direct socialization in encouraging the public in the field of licensing services and non-licensing.Keywords: Public Service, Service Strategy, Technology Strategy, Innovation Strategy, and Operation Strategy.

Abstract

Marriage tradition or mating ritual of Malay people especially in Petalangan Tribe at Betung Village, Pangkalan Kuras District, Pelalawan Regency. There are some distinctions in the steps of the marriage ritual because of the culture varieties. In this research, the researcher investigates on how marriage tradition of Petalangan tribe in Desa Betung is done and the changes that happen in the stages of the ritual. This research uses social changes theory, with six persons as the respondents consisting of Batin (the village chief), Ninik mamak (the elder relatives) and people in the society who are involved in the marriage ritual either of two-Petalangan-tribe couple or Petalangan with other tribe couple. The research findings show that there are 17 steps in the marriage ritual of Petalangan tribe, starting with 8 pre-marriage steps, followed by 7 marriage steps and 2 post-marriage steps. In its procession, the marriage tradition of Petalangan tribe has undergone some changes. The changes happen because of some factors; (a) supporting factor – advanced system of formal education; and (b) materialism factor – the influence of other society cultures and cultural assimilations. These factors leads to the mixture of some traditions so that, like it or not, it compromises the marriage system of Petalangan tribe in many or less ways.Keywords: changes,tradition, marriage, Petalangan Tribe.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the profitability and liquidity to the capital structure companies. This study focused on insurance companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for period 2012-2014. The data used in this research is secondary data, financial highlights (annual report) and performance summary. This study used purposive sampling method in order to collect the sample. Analysis of data using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 20.The results showed that the profitability and liquidity simultaneously not significantly affect the capital structure . The coefficient of determination that has been adjusted by 56.9 % . it can be concluded that the profitability and liquidity does not affect 56.9 % . While 43.1 % are influenced by other factors not included in this study , such as the size of the company , the stability of sales , operating leverage , growth rates and taxes.Keywords : Profitability, Liquidity and capital structure
