Abstract

Islamic religion itself in the Qur'an has equipped, demonstrated, and taught humans about ways to achieve peace of life. One concept that is in the Qur'an is by way of remembrance. The Naqshbandiyah Order has one of the methods of dhikr or a way to draw closer to Allah by performing suluk. The focus of this research is "The Tradition of Suluk (Study of the Naqsyabandiyah Congregation in Gunung Sahilan Village, Gunung Sahilan District, Kampar Regency”.. The purpose of this research is to find out the background of the naqsyabandiyah congregation persisting with the suluk tradition as well as knowing the activities of the suluk congregation and to find out the meaning of suluk for the congregation of the naqsyabandiyah congregation. The research method used is a qualitative research method. Research location in Gunung Sahilan Village. In determining the research subject using purposive sampling technique that is predetermined based on criteria. The number of informants in this study amounted to 8 people. The theory used is the Theory of Structural Functionalism from Talcott Parson. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The result of this general research is that the congregation of the naqsyabandiyah congregation survives with the suluk tradition because there are perceived benefits as well as the pilgrims feel the difference in the implementation of worship when attending suluk with worship at home where when performing worship at home, worship devotion they feel not as big as when suluk and suluk have meaning as a reminder of death so that each congregation remembers Allah by following suluk. Keywords: Suluk, Naqsyabandiyah Tariqa.

Abstract

Briefing activities are needed by a company that has a high work ethic in order to facilitate and motivate employees to work. Therefore, this study aims to describe the communication elements in briefing at the food and beverage service of the Novotel Pekanbaru. The research used a qualitative descriptive method to analyze based on data analysis techniques such as observation, interview, and documentation. Communication in direction includes elements of people, message, Media, Effect, and feedback. Abstract

One of the traffic problems in Pekanbaru City is a congestion caused by a buildup of vehicles which causes traffic flow to become obstructed and even stop. The existence of traffic police who are not always there to control the road from congestion has led to the emergence of a group that disrupts the function of the road or commonly called “Pak Ogah” who takes over the role of the Police. "Pak Ogah" is someone who controls the road at a crossroads or a U-turn with the intention of expecting a reward in the form of money from passing drivers. The existence of "Pak Ogah" raises pros and cons among the people of Pekanbaru City. There are those of the view that the existence of "Pak Ogah" is quite helpful in regulating traffic and making it easier for cars that want to turn / turn around, especially during heavy and congested traffic. Meanwhile, some people argue that the existence of "Pak Ogah" can exacerbate traffic jams and disturb car drivers. So the Pekanbaru City Traffic Police and Pekanbaru City Satpol PP held raids to curb the "Pak Ogah". The purpose of this study is to determine how the implementation of policing policies for road function disturbing groups in Pekanbaru City and to find out what are the factors that hinder the implementation of policing policies for road function disturbing groups in Pekanbaru City. This study used purposive sampling technique with qualitative research using a descriptive approach and the required data, both primary and secondary data, were obtained through observation, interviews and documentation and then analyzed based on the research problem. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of policing policies for road disruptive groups in Pekanbaru City has not been going well. The factors that hinder the control of groups that interfere with the function of the road, namely the target group who escaped when it was curbed, the application of weak sanctions, and the motorists who gave money to the groups that disturbed the function of the road.Keywords: Implementation, Public Policy, discipline Pak Ogah

Abstract

Pekanbaru City itself is one of the cities in Riau Province which has a relatively large number of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Pekanbaru City itself, which is the capital of Riau Province, has made a lot of business efforts from the community to stand in this city and also economic activity is more prevalent in this city because of its position as the capital city in Riau Province. However, in reality the number of businesses in Pekanbaru City is not in line with the quality of their business. Therefore it is necessary to have a strategy from the Department of Cooperatives and UMKM in Pekanbaru City in improving the quality of umkm in the city of Pekanbaru.               This study aims to find out how the strategy of the cooperative and umkm service in Pekanbaru City in improving the quality of MSMEs in Pekanbaru City in 2018 and to find out what are the inhibiting factors in implementing the strategy for improving the quality of UMKM in Pekanbaru City in 2018. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. In this study the authors used interview and documentation techniques and conducted research at the Department of Cooperatives and UMKM in Pekanbaru City.This study uses 3 types of strategies proposed by Hadari Nawawi, including aggressive strategies, innovative strategies, and diversification strategies. The results of this study are the strategies of the KotaPekanbaru Cooperative and UMKM Department in improving the quality of business in 2018, but in its implementation there are still some Obstacles both in terms of business actors as objects of empowerment and the government itself as an agency that improves quality besides that in this study, it is also explained that the inhibiting factors that affect the Department of Cooperatives and MSMEs in implementing the strategy to improve the quality of MSMEs in Pekanbaru City in 2018 include the large number of umkm made the Pekanbaru City Cooperative and UMKM Office prioritize business actors who have IUMK, lack of experts in business consulting clinics, implementation of bazaars and promotion of business products whose participants are still limited, increase in umkm every year while the number of ah sdm, doing empowerment is still still there, there are still business actors who do not know the empowerment being carried out and the product is still not able to competeKeyword: UMKM, Strategy, Improve Quality.

Abstract

The government role of management TPU Tampan Uka Street Tampan District, Pekanbaru City. This research was conducted at Tampan TPU Tampan District, Pekanbaru City. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of the government's role in managing TPU Tampan and government obstacles in carrying out the role of managing Tampan TPU. In conducting the research, the determination of the subject was carried out using purposive sampling technique whose criteria had been determined based on the needs of this study, these criteria based, 7 informants were taken as research subjects. The theory used in this research is the role theory by Soerjono Soekanto. The results of this proposed research are that the informants as the Coordinator of the TPU, TPU and Community officers explained that the role of the government as a regulator has been going well. Meanwhile, the government's role as a dynamist is also running well and the role of the government as a facilitator is going well too. The obstacle in the management of this Tampan TPU is the absence of electricity, which causes the work of TPU officers to be hampered, such as it is difficult to turn on the water machine for their needs.Keyword: Role, Government, TPU Tampan.

Abstract

This research discusses about the form diplomacy undertaken by Indonesia in seeking protection for Indonesian Migrant’s Workers who live in Malaysia. The large number of Indonesian Migrant Workers working abroad is caused by the difficulty of finding employment opportunities in the country, with the large number of Indonesian Migrant Workers working abroad, of course, will have problems that occur, where Indonesian Migrant Workers suffered torture, violence and sexual harassment. Therefore, the role of Indonesian government in protecting its citizens who are abroad is needed in this case.This study uses a Neo-realism perspective, digital diplomacy theory and the concept of human security. The theory of digital diplomacy by Lewis, explains that diplomacy uses of the internet and information and communication technologies to help achieve diplomatic objectives. The study used qualitative explanative methods, which is an analysis of the research of the data from books, journals, and official documents.The results of this study that the Indonesian government in achieving national goals and interests related to Indonesian Migrant Workers in Malaysia carries out digital diplomacy by using the internet through various digital platforms such as social media to convey Indonesian Migrant Workers issues to the public. Digital diplomacy exists not to replace, but to optimize the diplomacy that has been carried out by heads of state or representatives of other countries by focusing more on society (public). Indonesian government uses social media when handled Suyanti and Adelina cases, this diplomacy has succeeded lead public opinion through online petitions.Keywords: Digital Diplomacy, Protection, Indonesian Migrant Workers.

Abstract

Area Traffic Control System (ATCS) is traffic control by aligning red light times on the highway network of a city. Traffic regulation through this system requires parameters of the number of vehicles and vehicle travel time. The traffic rhythm arrangement will be better if it applies the Area Traffic Control System (ATCS) technology at all traffic intersections in the city. The purpose of this study is to describe the Regional Government Management of Pekanbaru City on the Implementation of the Area Traffic Control System Program in the yearThe research approach used is a qualitative approach. This type of research is descriptive. The research location is at the Transportation Department of Pekanbaru City. Types and sources of research data were divided into primary data with purposive informant retrieval techniques and secondary data in the form of supporting data related to ATCS. Data collection techniques used by interview and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis was performed using qualitative analysis.The results of this study are that the Regional Government Management of Pekanbaru City on the Implementation of the Area Traffic Control System Program in 2019 has not been carried out optimally, there are still problems found in the field due to several factors, namely limited budget funds, lack of quality and quantity of resources owned, lack of public understanding. to the ATCS program and the lack of awareness in traffic. Keywords: Local Government Management, Program Implementation, ATCS

Abstract

Employment is a condition in which a person is looking for a job or does not have a job while he is in the work force. This study aims to determine the policies of the Transmigration and Manpower Office of Siak Regency in the Implementation of Manpower Placement and Employment in 2017. The location of this research is at the Department of Transmigration and Manpower of Siak Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach. This type of research is descriptive. Data were collected through informants purposively. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation.The results showed that the policies of the Department of Transmigration and Manpower of Siak Regency in the Implementation of Manpower Placement and Job Expansion in 2017 were divided into 2, namely, open unemployment and underemployment caused by lack of expertise, unsupportive regional conditions.Keywords: Manpower Placement, Job Expansion

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Winstar Hotel Pekanbaru, Jl.Moh.Ali, No.118, Padang Terubuk, Kec.Senapelan, Pekanbaru.  This study aims to determine the effect of relationship marketing and brand image on customer loyalty partially and simultaneously.  This study uses a quantitative descriptive analysis method with the SPSS program. The population in this research is all consumers who  purchases services at the winstar hotel pekanbaru in 2019 were 14.401 and the sample from this study were 100 respondents from the winstar hotel pekanbaru consumers.The Determination of the sample in this study used the Slovin formula, namely non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling technique.            Data analysis using validity test, reliability test, simple linear analysis, multiple linear analysis, determination analysis and significance test with t test (partial test) F test (simultaneous test).  The results of this study show the result of the relationship marketing t-test hypothesis on customer loyalty, namely t count (14,095)> t table (1,660),  means relationship marketing has a  significant effect on  consumer  loyalty.  Second, brand image on consumer loyalty is t count (14,206)> t table (1,660), meaning that brand image has a significant effect on customer loyalty.  F test results relationship marketing and brand image have a significant effect on customer loyalty, namely F count (119,317)> F table (3.09).Keywords: Relationship Marketing, Brand Image, Consumer Loyalty

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Indonesian Post Office in Pekanbaru. The problem in this research is the sale at the Pekanbaru Indonesia Post Office, the sales of which do not reach the targets set by the company, meaning there are problems with customer satisfaction. This was due to the fact that package delivery did not arrive on time and the level of competition was increasing. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality and corporate image on consumer satisfaction on the use of delivery services in the Indonesian post office Pekanbaru.Hypothesis testing is done by simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis shows that service quality and corporate image have an effect on increasing consumer satisfaction both partially and simultaneously. The results of the analysis show the coefficient of determination of 0.418 means that 41.8% change in the value of customer satisfaction is influenced by variables of service quality and corporate image while the remaining 58.2% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.Keywords: Service Quality, Corporate Image, Consumer Satisfaction
