Abstract

This research focuses on the cooperation in energy sector between Pertamina and Rosneft Oil Company from Russia, this cooperation is about the building of oil refinery in Tuban, East Java. Through this cooperation, in oil and natural gas that costs big amount of accomodation, there will be further analysis on how this cooperation between Pertamina and Rosenft will impact Pertamina’s income.This research is done by using Neo-liberalisme perspective in international cooperation theory, seen from group level analysis to understand group’s behaviour in international system. The datas motsly sourced from legal website of Pertamina, Rosneft, and Indonesia’s Ministries.The result of research shows that the cooperation between Pertamina and Rosneft in the building of oil refinery in Tuban, East Java, giving significant impacts in many sectors in Indonesia. The existence of Tuban oil refinery that will be finished in 2024, is giving big contribution in energy sector infrastructure, the increase of tax and dividen to Indonesia from Pertamina, the increase of Tuban’s people life quality, the increase of knowledge in energy sector, complete Indonesia’s need of energy in the future, and increase Indonesia’s market in South East Asia.Keywords: International Cooperation, Pertamina, Rosneft Oil Company, Oil, Tuban Refinery.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the largest fresh banana producing countries in the world, Asia, and the largest exporter to China. Starting from the increasing number of exports in 2016-2018, there was an increase in banana exports to China. It turns out that the demand by China has not been fulfilled by Indonesia. This study discusses why there was an increase in Indonesia's fresh banana exports to China in 2016-2018.This study uses qualitative research methods, with the level of analysis of the nation state. The author uses the Heckscher-Ohlin export theory using a liberalism perspective. The data was obtained from an analysis of books, journals, websites, official reports from the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics regarding cooperation in the export of fresh bananas between Indonesia and China.The research showed the increase of Indonesia fresh banana exported to China. The increase in consumption of fresh bananas by Chinese citizens resulted in China imports from Indonesia to increase. China's demand for fresh bananas from Indonesia could be fulfilled by applying the concept of Phytosanitary Mitigation, and the Indonesian government application of a Gedor Horti’ s policy for the development of horticultural areas so that Indonesia's fresh banana qualification could comply with the requirments.Keyword: Export, fresh banana, Phytosanitary, Gedor Horti

Abstract

A supervisor has an important role in a company, which is responsible as a planner, a supervisor and a tutor. A supervisor is also responsible for his staffs works. This study is aiming to find out about The Room Service Supervisor Responsibilities in F&B Service Departement in Emerald Garden International Hotel Medan. This study uses a qualitative metode of descriptive approach. The Informants on this research are the Supervisor, the Order Takers, and the Waiters. The data was collected by doing observation, interview, and documentations. The result of this study reveals the Room Service Supervisor Responsibilities in the F&B Service Departement in Emerald Garden International Hotel Medan. The Room Service Supervisor Responsibilities on the successful operational covers supervising the staff in every preparation and serving the guests, making schedule, and taking care of the guests complaints.  Keyword : Responsibilities, Supervisor, F&B Service, Room Service.

Abstract

This research was conducted at Hotel Winstar Pekanbaru located on Jalan M Ali No. 118. Pekanbaru, Riau. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality and pricing on hotel customer satisfaction at Hotel Winstar Pekanbaru partially and simultaneously. In this research, the method used is descriptive quantitative analysis with SPSS program. The population in this study were hotel guests who stayed at the Winstar Hotel Pekanbaru in the last year, 2020 as many as 10,545 people. Where the sample in this research is the consumers of Hotel Winstar Pekanbaru as many as 100 respondents. To determine the sample using the Slovin formula. Data collection techniques through questionnaires, types and sources of data using primary data and secondary data, measurement collection techniques using a Likert scale. From data analysis which includes validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear analysis, determination analysis and significance test with t test (partial), and f test (simultaneous). The results of this study indicate that the results of testing the first t test hypothesis, service quality on customer satisfaction, namely t count (8.280) > t table (1.6605), meaning that service quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Second, pricing on consumer satisfaction is t count (8,190) > t table (1,6605) meaning that pricing has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction. The results of the f test of service quality and price have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction, namely f count (48.925) > F_table (3.09). This means that the quality of service and pricing simultaneously have a significant effect on customer satisfaction at Winstar Hotel Pekanbaru                                                                                     Keywords: Service Quality, Price, Consumer Satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to identify single parent and obstacle parenting The impediment to incitement in the flow of the sidomulyo timur marpoyan damai pekanbaru city care system conducted by single parent is shown by how to give attention, apreciation and motivation, and discipline and self-discipline. To get results from research, researchers use qualitative research methods and use purposive sampling technique by extracting data through observation, interview, and documentation. Research shows parenting which is applied by single mothers in the household sidomulyo timur marpoyan damai pekanbaru city peace leads to democratic and permissiv. Democratic parenting pattern is more applied by 4 single mother then 1 single mother with a parenting pattern permissive. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the motivation of tourist when visiting to Lawang Park destination, Agam Regency, West Sumatera. This research uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach to describe and explain the situation that occurs by collecting data and information in the field. The key informants in this research were tourists visiting the Lawang Park destination, Agam Regency. In research, the data collection techniques used were questionnaire, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that tourists visiting the Lawang Park Destination stated agree from the 4 indicators of tourist motivation that have referred to the grand theory used. Keywords:  Motivation, tourist, destination

Abstract

This research was conducted at Jl. H. R. Soebrantas, Kecamatan Tampan, Pekanbaru City with the aim to find out the socio-economic life of AMPERA stall traders and to find out the involvement of family worker as well as the family workers wage distribution of AMPERA night stall traders. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects in this study amounted to 4 people as informants and the selection of the informants was carried out using purposive sampling techniques which means determining the informants based on certain considerations. Researcher was looking for subjects who have been selling and become the owners of AMPERA night stalls for more than 5 years and above and the subjects that the researchers took are also the informants who were willing to be interviewed. In collecting data, researchers used the observation techniques, in-depth interviews and documentation. This study uses the theory of rational choice by James Coleman, that the existence of an individual action leads to a goal and that goal is an action which is determined by norms and values and preferences (choices). In running a business, it is necessary to have actors and supporting resources. The owner of AMPERA night stall which is the main actor of this economic activity also needs other supporting resources which are usually called workers/labors. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the socio-economic living conditions of the AMPERA night stall traders along Jl. H.R. Soebrantas, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City has the level of education that disable them to be in the formal sector, so they try to open their own businesses even though these businesses are only categorized as small-scaled businesses. The involvement of family workers or close relatives in the informal sectoris quite common even though the employees/laborers who assist in running the business are family to the owners or are having close family relations, they certainly do not escape the desire to get paid even though not as much.Key Words : Socio-Economic, Family Workers, AMPERA Stall Traders.

Abstract

Indonesia is not a country that has ratified the 1951 Refugee Convention so that foreign refugees who are living in Indonesia are overwhelmed in following the rules of the refugee convention. So various regulations were made to deal with foreign refugees, especially Presidential Regulation Number 125 of 2016 concerning the handling of foreign refugees, Then the question arises about how the Presidential Regulation Number 125 of 2016 regarding the handling of foreign refugees is raised in Pekanbaru.This study uses a pluralism perspective where policies can be from different actors and uses international organization theory. The method used is descriptive qualitative method with data collection using open interview studies, direct observation studies to the research site and documentation studies from articles, journals, and sites on the InternetThis research shows that the implementation of Presidential Regulation number 125 of 2016 concerning The Handling of foreign refugees in Pekanbaru as the basis for the main rules that apply in terms of handling the foreign refugees in Pekanbaru is carried out well following every point in the articles contained in this Presidential Regulation.  The handling of  foreign refugees that is implemented in Pekanbaru is divided into 1) Finding foreigners who are seeking asylum, 2) Temporary shelter and providing facilities and services during the temporary shelter process in Indonesia, 3) Immigration security and supervision while temporarily living in the area. Abstract

Digital wallets are currently a trend in various countries including Indonesia, which has led to digital transactions in various groups, including one of the Pekanbaru students. Students as media audiences accept many habits of transacting digitally from advertisements in the media. For example, through a video advertisement for the Dana Dompet Digital Indonesia which is currently in demand in Indonesia regarding digital wallet transactions. Students who watch the advertisement video have a new habit of transacting in various ways that can affect the extent to which digital wallets can be adopted in everyday life for transactions. This study aims to determine the dominant position of reading, negotiated reading and oppositional reading of Pekanbaru students towards the new transaction habits of E-wallet users in the video advertisement of the Dana Dompet Digital Indonesia on Youtube          This research uses descriptive qualitative research that focuses on e-wallet user receptions. The research data was obtained through interviews, observation and documentation with five informants who were selected using purposive techniques, namely Adinda, Naila, Fajri, Fariz and Yuris. The data analysis technique used is the reception analysis method which consists of data collection, analysis and interpretation of reception data. Meanwhile, the data validity checking technique used source triangulation.            The results of the first study were that four informants had dominant perceptions of e-wallet applications and one informant had negative perceptions of the application. Second, the five informants perceive the location of the transaction and the scene in the advertisement as negotiated. Third, none of the informants received an oppositional view of the video advertisement for Dana Dompet Digital Indonesia. The difference in how informants perceive e-wallets is due to several factors, namely age, education, experience and culture, which can also distinguish the way informants perceive e-wallets. Key words: Reception Analysis, E-wallet.

Abstract

Increasing tourist facilities is one way for tourist attractions to bring in more tourists. Tourist ratings on the facilities of a tourist attraction can be used as a benchmark for improving tourist attraction facilities. This study aims to determine the rating of tourists on the facilities in Andalus Family Tourism, Kampar Regency, Riau Province, as well as to determine the efforts of the manager in managing the Andalus Family Tourism facilities. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach to describe and explain the situation that occurs based on data collection techniques of observation, questionnaires, documentation, and interviews which then draws a conclusion. The sample in this study was 100 people using the slovin formula, namely tourists who had visited Andalus Family Tourism in 2020. The key informant in this study was the chairman of the Andalus Family Tourism manager. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that tourist ratings at Andalus Family Tourism facilities in Kampar Regency, Riau Province are good in almost all types of facilities, namely main facilities, supporting facilities, service facilities, management facilities, and complementary facilities which refer to the grand theory used. This is evidenced by the results of the assessment score which got a good score with a score of 22,867. Efforts by the manager in managing the facilities are to make gradual improvements to existing facilities as well as to increase the quantity and quality of Andalus Family Tourism facilities.
