Abstract

This study aims to find out about Indonesia's interests in agreeing on the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement ( CEPA ) with EFTA in 2017-2019. During the years 2017-2019 Indonesia and EFTA have Make a cooperation in various sector in the field of economics . The four EFTA countries are big market opportunities for Indonesia , but these are not yet at optimal conditions. So that through a cooperation agreement within the agreed CEPA framework is able to maximize the benefits to be obtained for both parties. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, with the level of analysis of the nation state, the theory used is the theory of international cooperation in the perspective of liberalism . The author collects data from books, journals, mass media, websites, official documents and MoU which is used to analyze matters of Indonesian interest in agreeing to an agreement with EFTA. Research is showing that during the years 2017-2019 Indonesia and also EFTA make a cooperation in various sector economy . Through this agreement that was agreed to provide a great opportunity for Indonesia to enter the market with low intensity to optimize the benefits to be obtained , as well as the opening of other doors of trade in Indonesian products to Europe through EFTA member countries. Abstract

Purchasing Decision is one of the fundamental factors in the application of the marketing concept, and with the development of the industrial world and increasingly competitive industrial competition, especially in implementing the right strategy in an effort to improve consumer purchasing decisions, it becomes a phenomenon that forms the basis or background of this research. The right marketing mix and good service quality are supporting instruments and even important instruments that indicate a company is able to attract market interest. The Marketing Mix Strategy and Service Quality is the implementation of the SMS as Air Minum Dalam Kemasan (AMDK)  produced by PT. Agrimitra Utama Persada Pekanbaru. This study has a purpose to determine the Marketing Mix, Service Quality and Purchase Decisions at PT. Agrimitra Utama Persada Pekanbaru. The method used in this research is descriptive and quantitative, with primary data sources and secondary data. The analytical method used in this research is a series of statistical tests in the form of; simple and multiple linear regression analysis, and by going through the validity and reliability tests. In this study the results obtained are the Marketing Mix (X1) has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (Y), and Service Quality (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Decisions (Y) At PT. Abstract

The objective of this research wash to find out the effect of compensation and work environment on the performance of field emp;pyes at PT.Multiguna Lestari Abadi Kemuning Indragiri Hilir. This research is located at PT.Multiguna Lestari Abadi Kemuning Indragiri Hilir. The population in this study consisted of 90 employees. Data analysis was carried out by statistical analysis with the help of SPSS. The sampling technique used is the census method and the data technique in this study includes the validity test, reability test, determination test, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linier regression analysis, t-test and F-test and prove the hypothesis. The results showed that and work environment had a significant influence on the performance of fild employees at PT.Multiguna Lestari Abadi Kemuning Indragiri Hilir. Based on the results of the study, the R aquare value of 0.351 means that 35,1% of the Compwnsation and Work Environment variabel affect the performance of field employees at PT.Multiguna Lestari Abadi Kemuning Indragiri Hilir. Keywords: Compensation, Work Environment, employee’s Performance

Abstract

Working capital management in company is one of the most important thing to improving the profitability. More effective the working capital management will make the profitability increase everytime. This study aims to determine and analyze the application of working capital management in improving profitability at PT. Sutra Benta Perkasa Pekanbaru. In this study using quantitative descriptive data types. The data collection technique used is the technique of interview and documentation on the financial data of PT. Sutra Benta Perkasa Pekanbaru.The analysis results show that the management working capital fluctuaced on the management of cash, management of receivable and management of inventory company still not effective yet for managing the working capital. And management profitability for Return On Investment (ROI) and Return On Equity (ROE) fluctuaced makes company still not effective yet for managing profit through sales.                                       Keywords : Working Capital, Profitability

Abstract

The Zuri Hotel Pekanbaru is one of the four-star hotels located in Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. The importance of maintaining the cleans of the hotel area to provide a positive image for the hotel and provide a goods image. The Housekeeping department must be keeping the entire hotel area clean, especially in the public area's because this area will give a great first impression to the guests. The method used in this study is mix method, The populations in this study were guests of The Zuri hotel Pekanba ru, and the research sample was 100 people. Then the data obtained were analyzed using the SPSS-25 application.This analysis includes: validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression test with normality assumption, linearity assumption, heteroscedasticity test, and determinant coefficient test. Based on the respondent's assessment distributed through questionnaires. It begins that the average guest answers were very expected (positive) on the cleanliness of the hotel public areas, with the level of respondent achievement of 1,571 with an average rating of 87.2 and that were classified as very good according to by TCR Sugiyono classification (2012: 207). Keywords : public area, hotel, cleanliness, response

Abstract

Indragiri Hulu Regency is one of the regencies that has natural potential that can be used as a leading tourism destination. Rantau Langsat Village is one of the areas in Indragiri Hulu Regency which has various forms of tourism in it. This tourist destination is program as one of the ecotourism in Riau Province. Of course, in carrying out this discourse, it is inseparable from the communication strategy carried out by the Youth, Sports and Tourism Office. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategy for selecting communicators, message composition, media selection and target audience determination.        The method used is a qualitative research method. The research was conducted at the Department of Youth, Sports and Tourism, Indragiri Hulu Regency. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation and documentation. There were 6 informants, namely 2 from the Youth, Sports and Tourism Office of Indragiri Hulu Regency, 2 from the management of the Rantau Salo tourism awareness group and 2 visitors. The data validity technique uses triangulation and participation expansion.        The results of this study indicate that the communication strategy carried out by the Youth, Sports and Tourism Office of Indragiri Hulu Regency in attracting tourist visits to Rantau Langsat tourist destinations is to determine that communicators have credibility and broad knowledge about Rantau Langsat tourist destinations. informative and persuasive while in the media selection strategy, the Youth Sports and Tourism Office uses social media Instagram and Facebook and the output media of billboards and banners, then the strategy in determining targets or audiences, the Youth Sports and Tourism Office does not determine the criteria because Rantau Langsat Tourism can be visited both young and old.  Keyword : Communication Strategic, Communicator, Message, Media, Target Audience

Abstract

PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Lubuk Attitude, Pasaman Regency is a company engaged in the distribution of electric power services, especially in the Pasaman Regency area. To support the running of the company's operational activities and to improve service to customers, it must be supported by a smooth flow of good company income. However, with the existence of arrears in electricity accounts from customers, especially household customers, which causes disruption of the company's financial condition. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategy of PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Lubuk Attitude, Pasaman Regency in overcoming customer arrears and knowing the inhibiting factors encountered by PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Lubuk Attitude Pasaman Regency in carrying out a strategy to overcome customer arrears. The theory used in this research is the strategy according to Hadari Nawawi. To answer these problems the researchers used a qualitative and descriptive approach. In this study the authors used data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation and then analyzed based on research problems. The results of this study indicate that the strategy of PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Lubuk Attitude, Pasaman Regency in dealing with customer arrears has generally been implemented, but has not been fully implemented effectively. The strategy of PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Lubuk Attitude, Pasaman Regency in overcoming customer arrears include: dissemination of invoices to customers, namely current customers, notification to all customers using loudspeakers installed on mobile cars, conducting socialization through social media, brochures and banners, recommending the customers to migrate to prepaid / tokens, renew their supporting media, bring in officers from house to house. There are obstacles in implementing the strategy of PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Lubuk Attitude, Pasaman Regency in overcoming customer arrears including conflicts with customers and the habits of customers who are late in paying.  Keyword : Strategy, Arrears, Customers, Public Service

Abstract

One of the cases of border disputes is the border dispute between India and China in the Himalayas. Unlike the previous dispute cases which were resolved by peaceful diplomacy, in the incident in 2020 India began to Show several strategies to deal with China along the border in the Himalayas. This study uses a Neorealism perspective approach using the theory of Teritorial Dispute Resilience. The research and analysis method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques namely secondary data, through data collection by researchers and literature studies from various sources such as books, journals, official websites and several credible mass media. The results of this study indicate that India in dealing with China related to border disputes that occurred in 2020, has implemented several strategies according to the first option in the theory of teritorial dispute resilience. Namely, increasing military strength in border areas, strengthening military cooperation with the United States, increasing cooperative relations with QUAD, and implementing economic sanctions against China, which are strategies that are implemented to show its seriousness regarding restoring the status quo in border areas.Keywords: Defense Strategy, Border Dispute, LAC, QUAD.

Abstract

Military agression between Israelis and Palestinians has caused destruction in every aspect such as education, economic, health and etc.  Therefore, a number of non-state organizations have provided vital assistance to the conflict victims in Gaza Strip, one of Non-Governental Organization that has been actively conducting humanitarian aid to the victims in Gaza Strip is MER-C which is an NGO engaged in humanitarian medical emergency, ensuring reliability,independency, and neutrality in their work.  This study uses a qualitative method to describe humanitarian issue that takes place in Gaza Strip in 2009 to 2014 and to discuss the MER-C Indonesia’s progress in carrying out their roles as a humanitarian act in Gaza Strip. In order to analyse this case, this study uses Non-Governmental Organization Theory and Pluralism approach.The findings of this study resulted in several things, namely that MER-C Indonesia is a humanitarian actor and execute their roles as an executor, a catalyst, and a partner. As an executor, MER-C provides large amount of aid needed to the victims. As a catalyst, MER-C widely hold a number of activities namely holding socialization and conducting advocacy. Lastly, MER-C work on existential strategy as a partner by using information politics and building hospitals that carried out by MER-C resulting in an outstanding influence and positive impact to the government of Indonesia and to the affected area in need for relief assistance which in this case is the Gaza Strip in Palestine.  Keywords : NGO, MER-C, Conflict, Humanitarian Crisis, Gaza.

Abstract

A country can be said to be prosperous when its economic development runs smoothly. Not only in urban areas, economic development should also be carried out in rural areas. National development can be said to be smooth if it is able to cover the lowest level, namely in rural areas. Rural development is an overall improvement to the social and economic conditions of life in rural areas. As with the Implementation of Village Government Empowerment in the economic development of village communities in Petai Baru Village, Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The purpose of this research is to find out how the implementation of village government empowerment in village community economic development in Petai Baru village in terms of running community economic development in the village. The economic development of the people in Petai Baru Village is still far behind compared to the villages in Singingi District. Community economic development plans made by Village Government Officials have not been able to answer community aspirations and are not synergized with the Village Vision and Mission. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of Community Economic Empowerment by the Petai Baru Village Government. The theoretical concept that researchers use is empowerment theory. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. In collecting data, researchers used interview, documentation and observation techniques. The results of the author's research are Community Economic Empowerment by the Petai Baru Village Government has not been going well, this is influenced by several things. The lack of coordination between the village government and the community, and the less than optimal performance of the KUD are also factors that affect the economic growth of the people in Petai Baru Village.
