Abstract

Hotel Grand Jatra Pekanbaru is a five-star hotel located at Jalan Tengku Zainal Abidin No. 1 Pekanbaru Mall Complex, Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to determine the performance of the room boy in the housekeeping department at the Grand Jatra Hotel Pekanbaru by using a mixed method with a descriptive approach. Respondents were set at 10 hotel guests. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, interviews, documentation and observation. With this research, it is shown that the performance criteria factors that affect the performance of rooms at the Grand Jatra Hotel Pekanbaru are the quality of work, quantity of work, supervision, attendance or employee discipline and conservation. Factors Performance appraisal criteria that affect the performance of room boy is supervision with improvement indicators. Keywords: performance, room boy, housekeeping, hotel

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of working capital and receivables management on profitability in pulp and paper sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Working capital management as an independent variable uses the working capital turnover ratio, and receivables as an independent variable using the receivable turnover ratio (RTO). Profitability as the dependent variable uses the ratio of return on assets (ROA). The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique and obtained as many as 7 companies. The data in this study uses secondary data and financial statements. The data analysis used is using financial ratios and multiple linear regression with SPSS 24. The results of this study indicate that working capital management has no effect on profitability, accounts receivable has no effect on profitability, and the simultaneous test (f test) shows the effect of working capital and accounts receivable management variables on profitability in pulp and paper sub-sector companies listed on the Stock Exchange. Abstract

The research was conducted at Star Foto Photography Pekanbaru, which is located on Jl. Garuda Sakti Km. 1, Pekanbaru, Riau in accordance with (copy of deed number 02. To determine the effect of service quality and pricing on customer satisfaction partially and simultaneously. This study used a quantitative descriptive analysis method with the SPSS 26 program. The population in this study were all consumers Star Photo Photography Pekanbaru in 2020 as well as a sample of 100 respondents from this study who were determined using the nonprobability sampling technique with the accidental sampling technique which was then formulated using the slovin formula.Data analysis used validity tests, reliability tests, simple linear analysis, multiple linear analysis, determination analysis and hypothesis testing with the t test and F test. The results of this study show the results of service quality and price affect consumer satisfaction, namely service quality affects customer satisfaction Then based on the F test, service quality and etermination prices affect consumer satisfaction simultaneously. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and work discipline simultaneously and partially on the performance of employees of CV. Lautan Rezeki Pekanbaru. The data in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 40 employees. After the data was collected, it was analyzed using descriptive statistics and regression analysis with the help of the SPSS application through reliability, validity, simple regression analysis, multiple regression analysis, F test (simultaneous), t test (partial) and the coefficient of determination.The results showed that compensation and work discipline simultaneously and partial have a significant effect on the performance of employees of CV. Abstract

In the implementation of the Pilkada in Bengkalis Regency in 2020 there has been a very tight competition. The pair of candidates for Regent Kasmarni and Bagus Santoso who are often exposed to negative issues about themselves in the implementation of the Pilkada in Bengkalis Regency, starting from the issue of corruption Amril Mukminin (non-active Regent) who is Kasmarni’s husband. The issue of a political dowry to get several political parties and the issue of violations Structured, Systematic and Massive (TSM). However, with the various negative issues, the candidate pair for Regent Kasmarni and Bagus Santoso were able to reduce negative issuess team during the implementation of the Pilkada in Bengkalis Regency in 2020. As for the formulation of the problem in this study, how is the strategy of the candidate pair for Regent Kasmarni and Bagus Santosi to reduce negative issues in the Pilkada in Bengkalis Regency in 2020. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the strategy of the candidate pair for Regent Kasmarni and Bagus Santoso to reduce negative issues in the Pilkada in Bengkalis Regency in 2020. This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and qualitative methods. The results of this study indicate that the candidate pair Kasmarni and Bagus Santoso use strategies to reduce negative issues by using offensive strategies.The couple Kasmarni and Bagus Santoso used an offensive strategy by creating a campaign in every villge with the help of the supporting party and the success team to work together to reduce the issues of coruption, political dowry (political costs) and structured, systematic and massive (TSM) violations that they were exposed to. Defensive strategies attitude to reduce negative issues by approaching the community by going door to door by conveying the vision, mission and programs that are directly related to the needs of the community. Abstract

Iran's nuclear enrichment was initially carried out with the United States in 1957 which was marked by the existence of the Nuclear Cooperation Agreement. However, the cooperation between Iran and the United States ended at the time of the Iranian revolution in 1979. The United States assumed that Iran was making weapons of mass destruction and demanded that Iran stop its nuclear program. However, Iran continued its nuclear program. To oppose Iran's nuclear program, the United States carried out a policy of coercive diplomacy against Iran so that Iran submits to the will of the United States and Iran's nuclear program can be stopped. This paper will discuss how Iran's response in dealing with the coercive diplomacy imposed by the United States on Iran and whether or not the coercive diplomacy policy of the United States and its allies towards Iran was effective because the results of the coercive diplomacy policy carried out by the United States against Iran were not successful because there were factors The factors that make Iran still able to carry out its nuclear program such as the supply of nuclear manufacturing materials from Russia, the JCPOA agreement on the Iran nuclear program agreement and also the absence of Iran's nuclear findings that deviate by the IAEA. Keywords: America's Coercive Diplomacy , JCPOA, Iran’s nuclear

Abstract

Tourism is one of the centers of attention that is very concerned by the government in solving the country's economic problems. However, since the arrival of Covid- 19, tourism has been the sector that has been hit the hardest due to the closure of access to leave the country and the difficulty of getting people out of an area. During the Covid-19 pandemic, tourism development in Indonesia began to declineso that the number of tourist visits, both domestic and non-domestic, decreased. Along with the decline in visitor levels in 2020-2021, the demand for accommodation is also decreasing. Currently, one of the four-star hotels that has survived the Fours Pount By Sheraton Batam pandemic is one of the four-star hotelsin Batam that has a room boy service procedure that good and wise this has an impact on the occupancy of Fours Point By Sheraton is still in Stable condition. Room Boy is part of housekeeping who is responsible for the tidiness, beauty, cleanliness and comfort of rooms, both occupied and vacant. Therefore, this study aims to determine the procedure for room boy service during the covid 19 pandemic.at Four Point By Sheraton Batam. This study uses descriptive quantitative methods to analyze problems based on data collection techniques in the form of observation,interviews, and documentation and questionnaires. The room boy service procedurewas carried out in order to improve the service of the four points hotel guest room facilities by sheraton batam during the covid-19 pandemic. Based on the results of the research that has been done, for the overall results of interviews, documentation and questionnaires, it can be concluded that the Service Procedure for Room Boy Fours Point By Sheraton Batam has been running according to the procedures thathave been carried out. Abstract

The inaccuracy in the completion of the files entered at the Kampa District Office of Kampar Regency is that the employees are not in place and the vacancies of service employees, causing the service to take longer than the specified time. In addition, the length of the correspondence process is due to the absence of employees at the Kampa District Office, Kampar Regency. This study aims to describe the performance of employees at the office of the Camat Kampa, Kampar Regency. To define the factors that affect the performance of employees at the office of the Camat Kampa, Kampar Regency. The formulation of the problem in this research is how is the performance of employees at the office of the Camat Kampa, Kampar Regency? What are the factors that affect the performance of employees in the office of the Camat Kampa, Kampar Regency? The research method used in this study is this research using a qualitative approach. The research location is at the Kampa District Office, Kampar Regency. The research informants were the Head of the Kampa District of Kampar Regency, the Secretary of the Head of the Kampa District of Kampar Regency, the Head of Administration, and the Community of the Kampa District, Kampar Regency. Abstract

This study was conducted to explain the role of UN Women in its effort to achieve gender equality in India. This research was also conducted to find out the steps taken by UN Women in effort to realize gender in India. The theory used is the theory of International Organization by Clive Archer. The method used is qualitative. Most of the data collected through library research is collected from litearture studies, online data, and documents. The result of this research is that UN Women as an arena works well by holding a meeting on 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence in 2016 which can help India face problem related to gender discrimination, Enhancing Access to Justice for Women in Asia and the Pacific with several main agendas, one of which is to increase the capacity of women for the right to access justice and guarantee human rights. In its role as an actor, UN Women succeded in influencing the Indian government to issue the MGNREGA law which was implemented through the DWLAI program so that it could reach and empower Dalit women. UN Women as an instrument collaborates with Indian government through the SCE and Vocational Learning Programme which then produces several useful targets to help overcome gaps in the education sector. The conclusion of this study is that in the field of education, the role of UN Women as an arena, instrument, and independent actor has been running well. However, in the health sector, the role that is fulfilled is only the role of UN Women as an arena and lacks its role as an instrument and independent actor. Abstract

One of the mainstay attractions in Kuantan Singingi Regency, Batang Koban Seven Level Waterfall Toursim Object in located in Lubuk Ambacang Vilagge, Hulu Kuantan District. This study aims to determine how the management of facilities at the Seven Levels Batang Koban Waterfall Tourism Object. Management has four functions, namely planning, organizing, implementing, supervising. Facilities are supporting facilities that can create a sense of fun accompanied by convenience and fulfillment of tourist needs in enjoying the tourism product offered. People travel to a place for serveral reasons, one of which is the availability of supporting facilities affects the deveploment of the number of tourists at the Batang Koban Seven Level Waterfall attraction. Facilities are not the main factor that can stimulate tourist arrivals to a tourist destination, but the absence of facilities can prevent tourists from enjoying tourist attractions. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, the subject of this research is the Head of Tourism Destinations, Head of section for management of tourism destinations, Head of tourism bussines service and section, Adyatama tourism and creative economy of the tourism and culture office of Kuantan Singingi Regency, and Pokdarwis. Data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation.
