Abstract

This title was raised in accordance with the background thought that basically humans are social creatures, humans essentially have a tendency to live in groups, among others based on hobbies or an activity to fulfill the purpose of these needs by communicating. Thus, the formulation of the problem in this study is: how is the communication pattern of the Garuda Sezione Riau Ultras Supporter community in maintaining the solidarity of its members. This study is purpose to know the communication pattern that happened and developed in Garuda Sezione Riau Ultras Supporter community. This type of research is Descriptive Qualitative research, data collection techniques are carried out by interview, and observation, and documentation. data sources using informants or sources as many as 5 people consisting of coordinators, administrators, and members of the Ultras Garuda Sezione Riau Supporter community which was carried out in a period of 2 months during March to May 2024, with data collection techniques using interviews, documentation and observation. According to the result, it is found that solidarity sense of Garuda Sezione Riau Ultras Supporter member is formed by an intens communication and comprehension about good communication pattern. This matter shows kinship of every member in community Garuda Sezione Riau Ultras Supporter has achieved a deepen level. Communication pattern used by Supporter Ultras Garuda Sezione Riau is the Star model communication pattern or all channels, where all members have the same position in communication activities within the community. While the barriers to ongoing communication are experienced, they do not interfere with the communication process, creating a harmonious and productive environment. Every individual has equal access to information and the opportunity to voice their opinions.

Abstract

PT Jasa Raharja is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) that implements government programs, namely compensation programs for victims of road traffic accidents. Socialization of PT. Jasa Raharja Pekanbaru Branch is information about the program of providing assistance or compensation provided by PT. Jasa Raharja Pekanbaru City branch to the people of Pekanbaru City who are experiencing road traffic accidents. The problem in this study is the lack of information in the form of how or process so that the people of Pekanbaru City can receive program assistance provided by PT. Jasa Raharja Pekanbaru City Branch thus causing a lack of understanding of the people of Pekanbaru City about the program from PT. The Raharja Service. The purpose of this study is to describe how the implementation of the functions of PT. Jasa Raharja in disseminating the program to the people of Pekanbaru City and describing what factors are inhibiting it. The type of research in this study is using qualitative research with a descriptive approach and the data needed both primary and secondary data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation are then analyzed based on the research problem. The location of the research was conducted at PT. Jasa Raharja Pekanbaru City Branch, using data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The results showed that the socialization of the program of providing compensation to victims of road traffic accidents by PT. Jasa Raharja Pekanbaru branch in 2020 is considered unsuccessful because it can be seen that there are still many people in Pekanbaru City who do not know about PT. Jasa Raharja and also the program of providing compensation to victims of road traffic accidents in Pekanbaru City. The ignorance of the people of Pekanbaru City is due to the lack of maximum and comprehensive socialization of the compensation program for victims of road traffic accidents provided by PT. Abstract

The Role of Parents as Facilitators Motivating Mediators in Increasing the Independence of Moderately Mentally Retarded Children at Junior High School Level in SLB Special Public School Bangkinang City. This research was conducted in Bangkinang District. The purpose and objectives of this research is to find out how the role of parents as facilitators, mediators and motivators in increasing the independence of mentally retarded children at Junior High School Level in SLB Special Public School Bangkinang City. This study used a descriptive qualitative method and the selection of informants used of purposive sampling technique. The subjects in this study were 6 parents of moderately mentally reterded children and 1 teacher who taught mentally reterded children. The data collection technique used was observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the role of parents as facilitators, mediators, and motivators in increasing the independence of mentally reterded children is parents must provide the best facilities for children to support children’s independence such as providing learning equipment, as mediators parents play a role and take part in teaching children at home, and as motivators parents play a role in giving enthusiasm and positive words to children and always appreciate what children. Abstract

This thesis discusses the effectiveness of the Proliferation Security Initiative (PSI) regime in countering North Korea's nuclear weapons program. Specifically, this thesis discusses the efforts of the international community and the United States to work together to establish a PSI regime as a response to the threat of nuclear weapons programs and spread by rogue states, one of which is North Korea. PSI is a global effort to stop the spread of weapons of mass destruction (WMD), delivery systems and related materials to and from state actors and non-state actors of proliferation concern. Using descriptive qualitative research methods, the author analyzes PSI's efforts to counter North Korea's nuclear weapons program using the theory of international regime effectiveness proposed by Underdal to measure the effectiveness of the PSI regime in countering North Korea's nuclear weapons program. The effectiveness of a regime can be tested based on the complexity of the problem faced. Analysis of the effectiveness of the PSI regime in countering North Korea's nuclear weapons program can be described as quite complex and limited. Complexities within the PSI regime itself, such as gaps in intelligence and understanding of North Korea's activities and intentions, could become obstacles in designing and implementing effective strategies to suppress its nuclear program. Limited access to accurate and complete information about North Korea's nuclear installations also makes intervention efforts difficult. Abstract

Online media that contains journalistic works in Riau, especially Pekanbaru, also reported developments, policies, and ways to handle Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) since the spread of this disease in Indonesia. Journalistic language as the main thing in making news which must pay attention to applicable rules and important parts in the use of various journalistic languages and look for any deviations contained in writing journalistic works. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research using data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the model of Miles and Huberman (1984) namely data collection, data presentation, data reduction and finally data verification. The results obtained by the research in distinguishing the use of jurnilstic language between Riau and Riau24 are found in the use of the Journalistic Code of Ethics (KEJ). The results of the study stated that between Riau and Riau24 there are some differences in the style of the journalistic language. Comparison of journalistic language deviations in Antara Riau as a news agency under the auspices of the government has many journalistic language deviations than Riau24 asaprivate news agency. The causes of this deviation include the use of Auto Correct on tools used such as Smartphones, Laptops, or Computers in the Editor's section. Another cause is not focused and lack of accuracy in writing and editing news. Abstract

Batam city is one of the cities that has a variety of interisting natural tourism potential. To support the development of tourism pontential. To support the development of tourism, the industry in terms of accomodation is increasingly important, but only professional players can compete, namely HARRIS Resort Barelang Batam. To improve the image of this resort, each department must have a perfect form of service. The first impression obtained by guests comes from the front office department, one of which is the telephone operator section which is a "Guest Service Ambassador" in charge of providing telecommunication services in the form of overall information from a hotel's products, where direct telephone receivers, to telephone connections to receive guest requests. By having an important role in operations, as a telephone officer, operators are required to be able to multitask, skils, and understand all existing tasks and be able to override all obstacle factors that will hamper operations. Of course, in reducing complaints from guests against the services provided, telephone operators must carry out their duties in accordance with the directions and regulations in carrying out these duties called standard operating procedures. Therefore, to improve the quality of service provided by telephone operators, each officer must comply with standard operating procedures that are used as a reference in carrying out their duties as a good communication service center. The purpose of the standard operating procedure in carrying out the duties of this telephone operator is to provide satisfaction to guests for the service provided. Therefore, telephone operators must carry out the overall task as well as possible in order to improve the positive image of HARRIS Resort Barelang Batam. Abstract

This research discusses the transformational leadership style possessed by the Suka Damai Village Head. Looking at the Developing Village Index data in 2022, Suka Damai Village has succeeded in obtaining independent village status which was obtained within 1 year. In the Village Development Index there are 3 main indices consisting of the social resilience index, the economic resilience index and the environmental resilience index. This research also wants to prove whether the transformational leadership style of the Head of Suka Damai Village can encourage an increase in the independent village status obtained by Suka Damai Village. The research methodology used by the author is descriptive qualitative. The type of data used is primary obtained through an interview process and secondary data comes from documents related to research. This research uses theory according to Suwatno (2019), namely, showing ideal influence, generating inspirational motivation, providing intellectual stimulation, and treating followers by providing individual attention. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method, data collection techniques are by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that the transformational leadership style of the Head of Suka Damai Village is good in implementing 4 aspects, namely, showing ideal influence by providing a good example so that his followers can emulate, generating inspirational motivation, which is a motivating step which is very important in providing enthusiasm and trust. themselves for their followers, providing intellectual stimulation, providing space for followers to be more creative in looking at a problem and providing space to think together, and treating followers by providing individual attention which can strengthen the relationship between the leader and followers so that the leader can absorb every need of the leader. each of his followers. Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in alleviating poverty in the Teluk Binjai sub-district of Dumai. Involving 79 PKH participants and utilizing a quantitative approach with simple random sampling, the data analysis indicates that the training within PKH significantly influences poverty alleviation, with a significance value of 0.000 (α < 0.05) in the t-statistic test. The simultaneous F-test confirms that PKH significantly contributes to poverty alleviation, with a significance value of 0.000. These results suggest that PKH is effective in reducing poverty levels in the area. Therefore, the program has a significant positive impact, reflecting the success of the Indonesian government's efforts to address various dimensions of poverty through initiatives such as PKH at the local level. Abstract

This study aims to determine how the application of peace journalism oriented to peace, truth, society, and settlement. This study uses the theory of Robert N. framing analysis. Entman and Johan Galtung's concept of peace journalism. The research method used is, descriptive qualitative. The subject of this study online media Tempo.co and Sindonews.com, while the object of research is news about the Kanjuruhan tragedy riots in the October 2022 period. The research sample, namely the news to be analyzed, amounted to 10 news stories published in October 2022. Data collection techniques are documentation and framing analysis techniques using Robert N. Entman. The results of the study based on the results of framing Robert N. Entman, Tempo.co and Sindonews.com has applied peace journalism in its reporting. Peace orientation by exploring the formation of conflict. Orientation to truth by revealing the truth of the causes and perpetrators of conflict. Community orientation by revealing the impact of conflict on children and women, as well as giving space to peace parties. Settlement orientation by highlighting peace initiatives in the form of containing requests and demands of a number of parties. Abstract

This research was conducted in Kuala Merbau Village, Meranti Islands Regency, precisely on the Jong Titis tourism tradition, in this case it was motivated by problems arising in a less effective promotion system. The promotion carried out could make the Indonesian people know more widely about Malay traditions in the Regency. Meranti Islands. This research aims to find out how promotions are carried out by managers and the obstacles faced in introducing and highlighting tourism potentials in Merbau Island District and preserving traditional folk games on Merbau Island. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Researchers used interview, observation and documentation techniques and the results of this research show that the implementation of the promotion of the Jong Titis tradition still needs to be improved. Apart from that, the management must increase the participation of Pokdarwis members and local residents. Keywords: Promotion, Tradition, Jong Titis.
