Abstract

Tourism development in Natuna is an interesting phenomenon to discuss, this is because in 2015-2018 the Natuna tourism sector had a number of tourist visits that did not show significant development. However, in 2019, after the establishment of Natuna Regency as a National Geopark site, the number of tourist visits showed significant tourist visits. With the increase in the number of tourists since the establishment of Natuna Regency as a National Geopark area, this is certainly a question whether the strategy of the Natuna Regency Department of Tourism and Culture can be said to be successful in developing tourism in the area. This type of research is descriptive. The research location is the office of the Natuna Regency Department of Tourism and Culture as the main actor in the development of the Batu Kasah Geosite in Natuna Regency and direct observation to the Batu Kasah Geosite location. Data was collected through purposive sampling informants. Data collection techniques using interviews, documentation and observation. The results of the study concluded that the Natuna Regency Department of Tourism and Culture in its government strategy formulates at least five things that are the focus in tourism development at Batu Kasah Geosite, that is: Tourism product development strategy, marketing strategy, accessibility development strategy, infrastructure development strategy and business development strategy. The strategy carried out by the Natuna Regency Department of Tourism and Culture in developing geopark tourism support at Geosite Batu Kasah in 2019-2020 has not run optimally, this is due to several factors such as access to Natuna Regency is still difficult and limited, constrained by land acquisition and budget refocussing for the Covid-19 pandemic. Abstract

Strategy is a method used to win the candidate pairs that are carried. In order to win a candidate in the election, political parties should as far as possible target a number of votes that will exceed the votes of other candidate pairs. This study aims to determine the strategy of the coalition parties in winning the pair of regent and deputy regent candidates Afrizal Sintong S.IP and H.Sulaiman, SS. MH in the local elections in Rokan Hilir Regency. While the methodology used in the preparation of this thesis uses qualitative methods, namely interviews with relevant sources in winning candidate pairs, then collects data, organizes and classifies data, the analysis is descriptive in nature which describes the strategic steps carried out by the coalition parties in the general election of the district head Rokan Hilir in 2020. to explain the meaning of politics to voters by using defensive and offensive strategies then this offensive strategy was developed by taking approaches namely push marketing, pull marketing, and pass marketing, this approach was used to promote the candidate pair Afrizal and H. Sulaiman. There are several strategic things carried out by the winning coalition party Afrizal and H. Sulaiman. First, in their defensive strategy, they mapped the mass base, which strengthened the estimated mass, which was certain to choose a candidate pair because of environmental and emotional factors with the candidate pair's personality. Second, with an offensive strategy, the winning team introduced or socialized the pairs of candidates for regent and deputy regent through the outskirts of the Rokan downstream district with the aim of focusing on voters who were far away from other pairs. Abstract

Public Street Lighting Lamps (LPJU) are road equipment which is useful for supporting security, safety and order as well as adding to the beauty of the environment. The Pekanbaru City Government has issued regulations regarding instructions for installing Public Street Lighting Lamps (LPJU) in Pekanbaru City with Mayor Regulation Number 19 of 2010. The aim of this research is to determine the role of the Transportation Service in Managing LPJU in Pekanbaru City in 2021-2022. This research method uses qualitative methods with descriptive research type. The type of research data used in this research is descriptive research, namely presenting the results of research on the Role of the Transportation Service in Management of LPJU in Pekanbaru City in 2021-2022. Then the research location is the Pekanbaru City Transportation Department. Data collection techniques in this research are interview, documentation and observation techniques. The findings in this research are that the role of the Transportation Service in the Management of LPJU in Pekanbaru City in 2021-2022 in its implementation has not been maximized. It is known that in terms of organizational readiness to implement the care and maintenance program for public street lighting in terms of human resources, supporting facilities and infrastructure and the budget is still is not sufficient so that many activities cannot be carried out, such as changing lights with a limited number of lamps available, therefore it is not in accordance with the established plan. Abstract

This research explains the response of Poland, a member state of the European Union (EU),to the European Green Deal (EGD), which was introduced by the European Commission in 2019. The EGD is a climate agreement consisting of a series of initiatives aimed at making Europe the first carbon-neutral region by 2050. This research is a qualitative research that uses with the rational actor model in foreign policy decision making to analyze Poland’s response to the EGD. The level analysis used in this research was the state level. The data collection used in this research is a document analysis method which was reviewed throught from several books, documents, journal articles, and other relevant references to Poland’s response to the EGD. Research shows that Poland had considered various aspects such as economics, history, geography, and social in responding to the EGD. Poland had also provided its views on the EGD at meetings of EU leaders. By considering many aspects, Poland’s response to the EGD is to agree to some of the points in the EGD that are tailored to the country’s conditions. Keywords: Response, Poland, EU, EGD.

Abstract

Nagari Silayang is one of the villages in Indonesia that has considerable natural and human resource potential. However, even though it has abundant potential, the village's original income (PADes) is still low. This can hinder the development and welfare of the village community as a whole. Therefore, it is necessary to manage village potential that is appropriate and sustainable to increase the village's original income and the welfare of the people of Silayang Village. This study aims to find out how the Capacity Development of the Nagari Silayan Government in Managing the Potential of Nagari Silayang to Increase Nagari Silayang's Original Income in 2018. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The results of this study show that the management of the potential of Nagari Silayang by the Nagari Silayang government has been carried out by strengthening human resources, strengthening organizations and institutional reforms to encourage the Nagari Silayang government to increase the village's original income through effective management of Nagari potential. The obstacles that occur in managing the potential of the Nagari Silayang area are human resources, capital and the environment. The capacity development of the Nagari Silayang government in managing its regional potential has not been carried out properly, this is due to obstacles in developing the capacity of the Nagari government such as weak human resources and limited village supervision. Abstract

Customer satisfaction is a key to a successful business. There is some factor that impact the customer satisfaction. One of them is the service. To gain customer satisfaction we need to give an excellent service. The purpose of this research is to look how far service excellence impact the customer satisfaction in The Zona Coffee Bar & Food Taluk Kuantan. This research is taking place from March until April 2024 at The Zona Coffee Bar & Food Taluk Kuantan. There are 100 samples that have been chosen randomly (accidental sampling). The data in this research has been collected with questionnaire, observation, and interview. The design of this research is quantitative descriptive that has been processed using SPSS 21. The result of this research shows that there is a positive and significant impact between service excellence (X) on customer satisfaction (Y). Keyword: Service Excellence, Customer Satisfaction, Cafe

Abstract

ABSTRACT A farmers' group is a type of agricultural organization that collaborates closely with farmers to strengthen their farming operations. These farmers' groups serve as tangible and practical organizations. Some farmers' groups are also involved in other activities such as communal work, savings and loan programs, and various other efforts aimed at enhancing farming activities. In addition to their practical functions, farmers' groups also serve as educational platforms and encourage the active participation of their members. This research was conducted in Kuantan Mudik District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This study aims (1) To determine the activities of rice farmer groups in improving the welfare of members (2) and to determine the factors that influence the role of rice farmer groups in improving welfare. This study used descriptive quantitative research methods totaling 51 people with a sample of 51 respondents sampling using census sampling techniques or taking all populations. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the role of rice farmer groups in improving the welfare of members is as follows; The activities of the Rice Farmer Group ranging from the utilization of natural resources, the procurement of production facilities, and increasing the productivity of agricultural businesses showed the highest level with an average percentage of 100.0% per activity. Factors that influence the role of rice farmer groups in improving welfare can be seen from the activities of rice farmer groups, namely: utilization of available natural resources, implementation of technology recommendations, procurement of production facilities, management and marketing of results, productivity of farming, increasing environmental sustainability. Abstract

PT. Refinery Unit II Dumai as a refinery processing crude oil into Fuel Oil (BBM), Non-Fuel Oil and Petrochemicals has a commitment to assist the Government in developing the community around the Unit II Dumai refinery operation area through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme. In conducting the research, a descriptive qualitative approach with primary and secondary data collection techniques has been used through the unit of analysis at the nation state level, thus aiming to understand more deeply the influence of SDGs point 8 on the CSR of PT Pertamina Refinery Unit II Dumai. The results showed that there is a policy that becomes a reference to the Corporate Social Responsibility of PT Pertamina Refinery Unit II Dumai. So that it has various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes that are implemented to provide benefits to the surrounding community and the environment. One of the CSR programmes implemented is a community development programme through economic empowerment. This programme aims to improve the welfare of the surrounding community through sustainable economic development, especially in SDGs point 8. Abstract

The administration of village government requires the professionalism of village officials in providing administrative services to the community. However, in practice, there are often village officials who lack professionalism in performing their assigned duties and functions. In Kubang Jaya Village, which borders Pekanbaru City, there should be advantages in accessing various needs, receiving information more quickly, and having adequate facilities and infrastructure, especially in providing administrative services to the community. Nevertheless, in reality, the village still faces issues, such as officials who are unable to perform their duties and functions properly and who do not adhere to the regulations stipulated in the Kubang Jaya Village Regulation. The purpose of this study is to describe the professionalism of village officials in administering administrative services in Kubang Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. The approach used in this study is qualitative, specifically descriptive qualitative research. Professionalism, in this context, refers to the attitude or state of performing tasks with high quality, timeliness, accuracy, and adherence to procedures that are easy to understand. According to Sedarmayanti, there are four indicators of professionalism: 1) competence, 2) effectiveness, 3) efficiency, and 4) responsibility. Abstract

This research was conducted in Pintu Gobang Kari Village, Kuantan Tengah Sub District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province. The purpose of this study is to find out: 1) Know the ritual process of carrying out the Pacu Jalur tradition At Pintu Gobang Kari Village, Kuantan Tengah Sub District, Kuantan Singingi District. 2) Knowing how the people in Pintu Gobang Kari Village, Kuantan Tengah Sub District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, interpret the ritual process of carrying out the Pacu Jalur tradition. To achieve this goal, a descriptive qualitative research method was used by taking 4 people as the main informants and 1 person as a key informant (Key Informant). This study used a purposive sampling technique through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of research on how the ritual of carrying out the Pacu jalan tradition can be seen from the ritual process starting from the making of the track to the day of the race event which was so lively that was held at Tepian Narosa. Cutting a Big Tree is the first ritual performed by the jalan shaman, namely when he wants to cut down a large tree that he wants to make a boat for, this ritual has the meaning of asking permission from the caretaker of the big tree so that the wood can be taken without any hindrances or obstacles.
