The subjects of this study were selected as many as 3 main informants, namely indigenous women who became heirs of Tanah Soko and 3 key informants, namely Kampar historians and cultural observers, village officials, and Ninik Mamak. The data analysis technique in this study was carried out through a data re duction process, presentation of data, and drawing conclusions. The theory used in this research is from Talcot Parsons, namely the AGIL theory (Adaptation, Goal, Integration, and Latency). The results of the research show that in the Kampar community's inheritance system, especially the Ganting Village community, adheres to a matrilineal system, namely an inheritance system based on the mother's lineage. Tanah Soko is a form of Tanah Ulayat whose inheritance is given only to women from generation to generation, and may not be sold. Tanah Soko is also called tribal land. The arrangement of Tanah Soko ownership rights in the Ganting Village community can be seen from the existence of statutory and customary arrangements. Keywords : Tanah Soko, Society, Kampar

Abstract

This research analyzes the spread of Hallyu or what is generally known as the Korean Wave in Japan. Hallyu is a transnational phenomenon involving South Korean popular culture which is deliberately spread with certain purposes. Some of them are improving the quality of the economy and creating a good image for South Korea. There are various types of South Korean popular culture, namely music, films, dramas, clothing styles, and others. South Korean popular culture is spread to various countries in the world, one of which is Japan. These two countries have poor relations due to the colonialism carried out by Japan against South Korea. This also has an influence on the Japanese public's view of South Korea. The purpose of this research is to see the spread of Hallyu in Japan. The method used in this research is a qualitative method using several sources, namely journals, books, and websites. The spread of Hallyu in Japan can spread throughout the country, which can be proven by the holding of concerts by Korean singers in several cities or prefectures, the high ratings of national television broadcasts showing Korean dramas, and the many restaurants that specifically serve South Korean cuisine Kata Kunci: drama, fashion, K-Pop, Korean food, nation branding

Abstract

In Pekanbaru there is a land conflict involving the community and the government, the community disagrees with the ownership of their land in the public interest. The community opposes this land conflict by reporting it to Commission I of the Pekanbaru City DPRD. The theory used in this study is that the role of the government is in accordance with its functions, including: 1. As a facilitator, local governments can accelerate development through improving the attitudinal environment, which is related to improving licensing and service procedures, as well as establishing areas to strengthen the arrangement of spatial dimensions in development . 2. Negotiations can measure the government's role in negotiating or negotiating can be seen from the efforts made such as identifying problems, seeking and gathering information from each in conflict. 3. Mediation of conflict control by means of mediation is carried out if both parties in conflict agree to appoint a third party as a mediator. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and documentation. This research was conducted in Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The results of the study show that the process of implementing land consolidation for the Tenayan Raya Ring Road has been carried out optimally, because the government plays a role through participation, negotiation and mediation. The obstacles faced by the Pekanbaru city government in solving consolidation problems are partly due to the lack of public knowledge about the purpose and benefits of land consolidation. Then most of the land affected by consolidation is family land with collective ownership. Keywords: Government Efforts, City of Pekanbaru, Land Conflicts

Abstract

WWE was a global wrestling corporation that operated in the entertainment industry. In WWE, women wrestlers received unequal airtime, pay, and pay-per-view participation. The hashtag #GiveDivasAChance became popular in 2015 after a 30-second match between female wrestlers ignited the Twitter community. As Chief Brand Officer (CBO), Stephanie McMahon responded to audience feedback by empowering WWE women through Women Evolution. This research implied a constructivist viewpoint and a group analysis level. Utilizing secondary data collection techniques, literature, documents, and video observations published on the WWE channel, as well as video interviews with WWE female competitors, a qualitative research method was employed. This study showed that the value of women in WWE had changed. With the introduction of Women Evolution, which was being implemented in stages, the role of female wrestlers expanded, as evidenced by their participation in pay-per-view events. WWE collaborated with Girl Up, a global leadership development initiative founded in 2010 by the United Nations Foundation, to alter the perception of WWE women. WWE and Girl Up collaborated to create the Sport for a Purpose program, which sought to empower women in sports worldwide. Keywords : WWE, Girl Up, Equality, Gender, Women Evolution.

Abstract

This research identifies the impact of the integration of the Azov battalion into the Ukrainian national guard on Ukrainian-Russian relations. The research is interesting to discuss because the development of the relationship situation between Ukraine and Russia, which is now in a state of war, has been affected by the existence of the Azov battalion and the integration of the Azov battalion into the national guard. This research is a qualitative research with data collected through library research technique. The theory used is the theory of constructivism. This research uses the nation state level of analysis where state behavior can be dictated by internal factors of the state. The results of this study show that the integration of the Azov battalion into the Ukrainian national guard and then the political involvement of actors associated with the Azov battalion such as the Azov movement is used as a weapon in Russian propaganda to accuse the Ukrainian government of being fascist, terrorist and genocidal in its efforts to delegitimize the Ukrainian state government. This propaganda is then used by Russia as justification for its casus belli that there needs to be a "denazification" effort in Ukraine by Russia in order to protect its people.
