Abstract

The purpose of this research are: 1) identifying the white oyster mushroom cultivation techniques which are run by farmers King Spora Farm. 2) analyzing the costs and revenue of white oyster mushroom cultivation is carried out by farmers King Spora Farm. 3) analyzing the cost, margin and marketing efficiency of white oyster mushroom business by farmers King Spora Farm. The research was do from January 2015 to April 2015. The method used is the case study method. Results showed white oyster mushroom cultivation techniques the farmers get optimal results after doing research on the experience during to farm. White oyster mushroom farming requires production cost of Rp 16,651,822,- each production cycle. Net income derived from the cultivation of white oyster mushroom Rp 6,298,178,- each production cycle and gross revenue of Rp 22.950.000,- each production cycle. Results of the analysis of white oyster mushroom farming obtained RCR of 1,38. BEP white oyster mushroom farming Rp 13,206,407,- each production cycle or 433,17 kg of white oyster mushroom each production cycle. Thus, white oyster mushroom farming viable and profitable. Marketing white oyster mushroom of King Spora Farm there are two marketing channels, namely channel I (farmer to consumers) and channel 2 (farmer to traders to consumers). Channel I marketing efficiency by 0.62%, while marketing channel II by 1.75%, so that the white oyster mushroom cultivation is more efficient on channel I.   Keywords: cultivation, farming, marketing, white oyster mushrooms.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1). Determine the marketing mix that influence the consumers’ decisions in purchasing pesticides at UD. Agrimart Sejahtera in Pangkalan Kerinci. (2). Determine the constraints faced by UD. Agrimart Sejahtera in marketing the pesticides products.  In this research, 50 respondents has been selected through purposive sampling that would be interviewed, then analyzed descriptively and used likert scale. To answer the first goal, it has been analyzed descriptively and used likert scale. To answer the second goal, it has been done through interview at UD. Agrimart Sejahtera in Pangkalan Kerinci. The result of the research shows: (1). Overall the consumers’ decision in purchasing the pesticides at UD. Agrimart Sejahtera got an average value 195.12 that was included in “agree” categories, the consumers were agree with the marketing mix exsisted at UD. Agrimart Sejahtera with variable products, prices, places, promotions and services. (2). The constraints faced by UD. Agrimart Sejahtera: (a). Constraints in limiting some pesticides product brand from several distributors. (b). Price fluctuations constraints from distributors. (c). Abstract

This research aim is to know and analyze: 1. The channel, margin of rubber marketing and rubber marketing efficiency. 2. The correlation between the price of rubber from factory and the price of rubber in farmer level. 3. The influence of rubber price changing of factory to farmer level at Lubuk Batu Tinggal Village of Lubuk Batu Jaya District of Indragiri Hulu Regency. The research is used of survey method. The sampling method is purposive sampling of 40 farmer that have plantation age between 10-15 years. The second sampling of merchant is using snowball sampling method. The research results shows that in Lubuk Batu Tinggal Village of Lubuk Batu Jaya District of Indragiri Hulu Regency have one rubber marketing chanel. That is farmer to collector merchant to factory. The lowest price in farmer level is Rp.5.500/kg. The highest price level is Rp. 9.200/kg. The lowest price of factory is Rp. 7.050/kg. The highest price level of factory is Rp. 11.480/kg. The average price level of the farmer level on period January 2014 up to Desember 2014 is Rp. 7.084,42. the average price level on factory is Rp. 9.399,17. The margin level of marketing channel between the price in farmer level and factory is Rp. 2.313,08 marketing eficiency is 5,99%. Correlation value between the price in farmer level and factory level is 0,81%. Value of the elasticity of price transmission between the price received from farmers and the price  by factory  0,81%.   Keywords : Marketing, Margins, Price Transmission, Elasticity.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is knowing the pattern of partnerships run by PT. Gemilang Unggas Prima, also to know the motivation of broiler chicken breedersplasma in partnering, and partnership problems in broiler chickens in Kampar Kiri Tengah District, Kampar Regency. This type research is descriptive quantitative with using quantitative and qualitative data, collecting data is done with interviewing. Data analysis which is used is descriptive statistic with descriptive analysis and factor analysis. Descriptive analysis of patterns of partnerships demonstrate a partnership which is run by PT. Gemilang Unggas Prima is plasma system, with the system and partner acceptance procedures are clearly specified in the letter of agreement. In addition, the contract price of feed, DOC, and live chicken price agreed in the contract signed by each production period. The result of this research show 7 (seven) variable fill requirement so that it results 2 (two) form motivation namely basic and supporting motivation. Basic motivations which support breeder to determine partner are variable material needs, rewards, and achievements. Basic motivations have real influence of breeder to determine partner. Supporting motivations consist of variable jobs, company policies, supervision, and awards. Supporting motivations have smaller function than basic motivation. Descriptive analysis of the problems of partnership shows that the dominant problem is the contract unilaterally, price contract of livestock production facilities and production is determined unilaterally,deposit/guarantee aggravating plasma farmers,lack of clarity in the quality standards of livestock production facilities is given, and absence of supporting institutions.   Keywords: Broiler, Motivation of breeder, Parthership

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) know the description of counseling in Sungai Lokan;(2)Analyzing the level of counseling role and the level of empoweringself-help system of coconut farmersin Sungai Lokan (3) Analyzing the relationship of the counselor’srole toward empowering self-help system of coconut farmersin Sungai Lokan. This research was conducted in Sungai Lokan of Indragiri Hilir sub-district of Enoch Regency.In this study as many as 30 farmers have taken as samples of 166 populations and selected by purposeful sampling and then were interviewed as respondents. Validity and reliability analysis have been done as a measuring instrument to the 30 respondents.To answering the first goal was done by qualitative descriptive analysis that used to determine a general overview of counseling in Sungai Lokan. To answer the second goal, then the Likert Scale Analysis was used to analyze the level of the role of counselor and empowerment of self-help system farmers in Sungai Lokan. To answering third goal, then the Spearman Rank Correlation Analysis was used to analyze the role of counselor relationship to the empowerment of self-help system coconut farmers.The result of indicate: (1) the counseling role was “less a role” in self-help system of coconut farming activities, which consists of a counselor’s role as an educational counselor. (2) Counseling has not quite well in empowering self-help system of coconut farmers, which consist of human resources, the productive and institutional economy. Abstract

The aim of this research in not to know the effect of PKS to the social condition and economic society but also to describe the condition of social community before and after the existance of PKS PT. KaryaAbadiSamaSejati in the District of Pujud. This research used the survey method with the cluster sampling to the technique to the 73 sample of 278 populations that consist of 52 respondents of employees and 21 respondents of non employees. The analysis that is used focussed on the development of people, manpower, income and ratio of the bail. The system of people development after and before the existence of PKS that doesn’t still give big impact with the change about 3%, while at the level of manpower doesn’t still give impact and it can be looked from the decrease of the working participation about -39,5%  and the increas of the jobless about 10,37%. The average of income per month of the employees respondent after the existance of PKS increas about 25,79%  is Rp1.365.385,00 to Rp2.021.230,00 and the average of income per year after the theexistance of PKS respondent about 41,72% is Rp8.249.961,00 to Rp11.691.730,00, and the average of income per mounth of the non employees income respondent after the existence of PKS increas about 11,71% is Rp2.364.286,00 to Rp2.641.190,00 and the average  of income per year after the existance of PKS about 15,93%is Rp10.381.857,00 to Rp12.035.714,00. The ratio of bail shows the high value that is 52,81%. The condition of social community has been a change where there is a change of genetic relationship region to be dispersed because of the activity factor, occure the social problem is disagreements and misunderstanding between citizen and new comer. Abstract

The purpose of this research is knowing motivation of broiler breeders in partnering and problems in partnership with PT. Pelita Trikencana Bersinar in Kampar Kiri Tengah District, Kampar Regency. Type of research is a descriptive study using quantitative data and qualitative. Data collection was done through interviews with the help of questionnaires. The data analysis used is descriptive statistics analysis tool factors. Descriptive analysis results indicate a partnership is a partnership that is run plasma core system, with the system and partner acceptance procedures are clearly specified in the letter of agreement. In addition, the contract price of feed, DOC, and live shicken price agreed in the contract signed by each production period. The result of factor analysis showed 7 variables qualify resulting in 2 motivation formations. Motivation formation named the main motivation and motivational support. Motivation that encourages breeders in partnership is the main motivation consists of variable control (X2), working conditions (X5), achievement (X6), employment (X8), and material needs (X9). The main motivation have real influence is the motivation broiler breeders in prtnering. While supporting motivation consists of variable interpersonal relationships (X3), and compensation (X4). Motivational support has a role that is lower than the primary motivation. The results of descriptive analysis shows that the dominant problems occur is unilateral cooperation contract, the contract price is the determined unilaterlly sapronak and production, lack of clear quality standars sapronak sent the core, late harvest, the absence of an arbitration body, and the absence of institutional support. Abstract

The purpose of this research is  to determine the income level of Petalangan Malay community in Madang Village Pangkalan Lesung District. This research conducted by purposive sampling of 20 Petalangan Malay community samples determined using snowball sampling method. The result showed that.The income level of Petalangan Malay community in Madang Village consists of father income, Mother income, Child income. Father income who above regional minimum pay (UMR) as many as 13 respondents from 20 respondents (65.00%). Father livelihood consists of rubber farmer, palm farmer, farmworker, official employee, toke, civil servant and construction worker. Mother income who above regional minimum pay (UMR) as many as 4 respondents from 20 respondents (20.00%). Child income from 20 respondents there were 14 respondents (70.00%) who have not income and 6 respondents (30.00%) who have income under regional minimum pay (UMR), because the childs only working to helped farmers.     Key words: Petalangan Malay community, Income level, father income, Mother income, Child income.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze social and financial performance of microfinance institutions UED-SP Bakti Mulya. Social performance analyzed using Microfinance Information exchange (MIX) soscial performance standard report, and financial performance analyzed using 17 PEARLS ratio. Analysis of the UED-SP social peformance has reached the social mission and goals the cumulative volume of loans 19.42 percent, and the higher growth of loans volume is the agricultural sector 39.18 percent. The poor borrowers 23.33 percent and volume of loans increased 35.06 percent. Internal systems increased on a variety of loan products and increased incentives for staff. The output and outcome UED-SP was increasing in average annual, outreach of the women borrowers, the borrower of productive economic in the agricultural sector, poor borrowers, and the volume of saving. Monetary performance LKM UED-SP Talang Mulya show from 17 indicator ratio of PEARLS there are 8 indicator residing in condition is not ideal cover protection ratio ( protection) ( P1), and ( P2), lending ratio circulate ( E1), Share deposit ratio ( E7) and operating expenses ratio (R9),Rasio not yield ( L3), growth of share deposit ( S5), and growth of institute capital (S6) show condition is not ideal. Implication Policy of Social Performance that is organizer  require to follow training related to gender sensitivitas, Need the existence of development of product innovation, accepted incentive staff have to pursuant to performance. Abstract

The purpose of this research are: (1) to know growth of Indonesia’s pepper in the supply and demand on 1990-2013 periods; (2) to analyze the factors who influencing on production of pepper in Indonesia. Analysis method used simultaneous equation with time series data from 1990 till 2013. The results showed that demand and supply of Indonesia’s pepper growth 2,97 percent and 1,00 percent in annual. Demand growth influenced by manufacturing sector and trade, hotel, and restaurant sector. Determinant coefficient (R2) of pepper production is 0,86, F value is 20,16 and dh statistic is -0,81. Production of Indonesia’s pepper significantly influenced by price of Indonesia’s pepper, export of Indonesia’s pepper, interest rate, and production of Indonesia’s pepper previous year. Price of Indonesia’s pepper isn’t responsive in short run and responsive in long run, whereas other variables aren’t responsive in short run and long run.     Keywords: Pepper, Production Factors, Supply and Demand
