Abstract

The purposes of this research are to find out women farmer’s profile in Sei Beluru village, to analyze an income women farmer’s household, to analyze a contribution income women farmer’s from farmer’s and non farms to household income. These research used a survey method with purposive sampling as a sampling technique, the characteristic are women who have job as a farmer as their primary job, women who have been a housewife and still have husband then have their own farm. Respondent total of this research are 41 respondent. The result is, from charateristics, the age of women farmer’s are between 36-60 years old, with junior highschool graduate, and most of women farmer’s experience in farmer’s industry are during 7-34 years. Total average of household income’s women farmer’s are Rp.24.239.091/years that came from primary household and part time income’s husband, wife and child. Abstract

The purpose of this study was (1) to analyze the structure of household income independent smallholder farmers of oil palm at Kota Tengah Village Dolok Masihul District Of Serdang Bedagai Regency North Sumatera, (2) to analyze the distribution of household income independent smallholder farmers of oil palm at Kota Tengah Village Dolok Masihul District Of Serdang Bedagai Regency North Sumatera. The method used in this study is a survey method and number of samples were determinated by purposive sampling method. The population in this study was 102 farmers and is sampled 20 farmers. The result of research showed that the agricultural sector is the largest contributor to the total household income of oil palm farmers is equal to 54,93% and from non-agricultural sectors of 45,07%. Revenues from the agricultural sector dominated from oil palm farming 46,07% and cassavas farming 8,86%. The distribution of household income independent smallholder farmers of oil palm at Kota Tengah Village Dolok Masihul District Of Serdang Bedagai Regency North Sumatera is at a low ineguality with index gini ratio 0,18. It means that the distibution of household income among the oil palm farmers is relative evenly. Keywords: Income Structure, Income Distribution, Index Gini Ratio

Abstract

One of the most significant current discussions in development country is poverty, including in Indonesia.  Indonesia is one of the most populous in the worlds with 237.6 million people in 2010, where 76.93 % of povertyareconcentratedin Java(55.33%) andSumatra(21.6%). This paper attempted to create profiling poverty of 151 residences and cities in Sumatera. The poverty characteristics included in the profiling are:levelof education, manpower distribution, expenditures per capita, health, housing facilities, and government’s poverty eradication programs. Data resources are from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS). The data were analyzed by principle component analysis (PCA) and Hierarchical Data Analysis.Factor analysis produced as many as 32 variables as the main components, adequate for further analysis as 'key factors' for social economic characteristic profile of residences and cities in Sumatera.  These main components demonstrated the adequate values of KMO, MSA, and Bartlett's Test of Sphericity. Following the result from Factor Analysis to obtain the important factors of poverty, the method of hierarchical cluster analysis was, further, used to classify the profiles of 108 residences and cities in Sumatera. The results of cluster analysis with 5interesting clusters of poverty profile of socio-economic indicators show that Cluster 1 comprises of 7 residences with similar characteristic of level of educationand manpower distribution. Cluster 2 includes 9 residences with similar level of education and expenditures per capita. Cluster 3 consists of 36 residences and 2 cities with similar manpower distribution and expenditures per capita patterns. Cluster 4 comprises of 23 residences and 3 cities showing its own distinct characteristics in their similarity patterns of expenditures per capita and housing facilities. Then, the cluster 5 consists of 2 residences and 27 cities showing the similar patterns in level of education and housing facilities.   Keywords: economic social, poverty, factor analysis, cluster analysis.

Abstract

The research goal is to identify marketing channels, marketing margin and marketing efficiency. This research was conducted in the village of Kuok Kuok District of Kampar regency. The method used in the study using survey methods, sampling purposive sampling. The sample consisted of a sponge cake agroindustry entrepreneurs and 30 customers sponge cake. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Agroindustry research results sponge cake has a marketing channel of entrepreneurs to consumer marketing channel efficiency Rated sponge cake made at home by 8.06% more efficient than the efficiency of marketing channels is done in the market Bangkinang by 15.56%, due to marketing channels in Bangkinang market while the cost of transportation for marketing in the home does not use transport. Value marketing channel efficiency sponge cake made in the market Air Tiris by 13.23% more efficiency than do marketing channels in the market Bangkinang by 15.56%, due to marketing in Bangkinang done every 5 days a week so that the transport is greater than transport to Air Tiris that marketing is done every once a week. The value of marketing efficiency in marketing channels carried in Rumbio market is 13.66% larger than marketing channels Air Tiris performed in the market, namely 13.23%, because many employers bring cakes to Air Tiris market.   Keyword: Marketing, Channel, Cost, Margin, Efficiency

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the household income pattern of non-oil palm farmer in Senama Nenek Village Tapung District Kampar Regency, to analyze the structure of household income pattern of non-oil palm farmers in Senama Nenek Village Tapung District Kampar Regency and to determine the condition of the coconut farmer household welfare palm patterns of self-help Senama Nenek Village Tapung District Kampar Regency. This research was conducted in Senama Nenek Village Tapung District Kampar Regency is a district with the largest oil production people in Kampar Regency. This research was conducted by survey method, ie through interviews with palm oil farmers self-patterns. Samples were taken by simple random sampling technique with a number of sample as many as 30 people. Data analysis consisted of analysis of profits / income, income structure analysis, and well-being. The study found that the net income of non-oil palm farmers in Senama Nenek Village Rp 35.815.012 / Land / Year. As for family work income received by farmers was Rp 36.028.345 / Land / Year. Implicit costs consist of depreciation costs Rp 139.329 / year and TKDK Rp 213 333 / year. While the explicit costs consist of costs fertilizer Rp 5.003.870 / year, the cost of pesticides Rp1.008.867 / year and costs TKLK 4.255.367 / year. The structure of non-palm farmers' income consists of income is from agriculture and non-agricultural income. The average number of net income from agriculture earned by oil palm farmers self-patterns of Rp 36.028.345,-. As for non-agricultural income, the average earned by oil palm growers governmental pattern of Rp 2.800.000,-. So that the total income received by farmers is Rp 38.028.345,-. Based on the criteria of basic needs and is measured by indicators of well-being obtained that all smallholders as many as 30 people belonging to prosperous farmers. Abstract

Internet is one of the main of development of information technology. Trough the internet can also be obtained various information, among others tourism information. Tourism information are generally published in website. Pekanbaru city also has tourism. From websites that already exist in the pekanbaru city, show only general information of pekanbaru city. Seeing these conditions, researcher on prototype development of tourism web pekanbaruview, to meet the needs of tourists and society about tourism information pekanbaru. The purpose of this research : 1) Designing web application PekanbaruView tourism using Joomla 3.2  2)  To analyse expectations and attributes performance dimension of the tourism PekanbaruView web. Sampling using a convenience sampling and taking 75 samples. Analisys of the data using Joomla 3.2, and Importance and Performance Analysis (IPA). The result showed that to design a view of tourism web Pekanbaruview application, Previously the view of the tourism pekanbaruview web has designed. Furthermore, installing XAMPP as a server that supports the Joomla 3.2. and after that installing joomla 3.2. Based on the result of the IPA there is one attribute that is located on the first quadrant. The attributes is the speed of access. In the second quadrant there is seven atribut, Which is attributes top menu, picture flash, content, Clarity of the information, features on the website, newest  information, and ease of users. For attributes that in third quadrant is a view of interface of calendar. In the fourth quadrant there is three attributes, which is the accurate of the information, header, user satisfaction. Abstract

Koperasi Unit Desa (KUD) is the closest and very importantinstitution, because this institution is very useful in the life of the rural economy. One of the co-operative which has the purpose of the welfare of its members, located in Kulim Jaya Village, namely KUD Tani Bahagia. The purpose of the cooperative is to meet the needs of its members.The purpose of this study are: 1). to determine the participation of members of Koperasi Tani Bahagia 2). to know the problems faced by members of Koperasi Tani Bahagia. The method used in this study was a survey method. Data collected include primary and secondary data.Results of the research have shown: 1). The overall participation level of members of the cooperative was categorized as high participation with the score of 3.55. Consisting of: A). The overall participation of members in decision-making activities was categorized in medium level with a score of 3.26. B). Participation of members in the implementation of the overall cooperative activities were classified in the high category with a score of 3.67. C). Participation of members in overall service utilization were classified in the high category with a score of 4.12. D). Participation of members in the overall evaluation classified in the high category with a score of 3.55. While on goal 2). Constraints faced by members were the lack of liveliness, presence, and lack of contributions to the meeting members of the cooperative and the calculation of net income.   Keywords: Level of participation, cooperation and KUD Tani Bahagia

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: (1) to know the perception of Banjar Benai Village’s society about conflict understanding with PT. Duta Palma Nusantara; and (2) to know the expectation of Banjar Benai Village’s society about conflict understanding with PT. Duta Palma Nusantara. This research used survey method. The sampling method in this research used snowball method.The first purpose answered with qualitative descriptive analysis used 5W + 1H question. The second purpose to analyze the expectation of society can be measured with Likert’s Summated Rating Scale (SLRS). The result of this research was got from the society perception in Banjar Benai village with PT. Duta Palma Nusantara. It can be seen from 5W + 1H with sub variable perception to problem of the conflict, perceptions to the goal of conflict subject and perception of conflict subject. The conflict that occured between PT. Duta Palma Nusantara and society has persist. It start from the cultivate right and companies contract that not clear. Since 2004 until now there has been no  settlement for this conflict. The third side of local government has been presented to clear that conflict, but the government it also can not to solved  the conflict between the society and the company. The level of the society expectation with PT. Duta Palma Nusantara was in the high category perception. It can be seen in 3,71 scores were comparised of the sub goal variable, pathway thinking and agency thinking. Keywords: Conflict, Perceptions, and Expecations

Abstract

This research aims to (1) analyse the partnership system held by PT. Mitra Anugerah Satwa; (2) analyse the variables who motivate broiler breeder in partnership; (3) describe the problems that occur in a partnership between farmers with firm partner. This research used descriptive with quantitative and qualitative data, data collection held by interview with questionnaire. Data analysis was done descriptively with Likert's Summated Rating Scale (LSRS) and factor analysis. The result showed that partnersip system was core-plasma, where firm as core and breedes as plasma. The firm helped the plasma in terms of capital by providing production means. But, the plasma becomes weaker position because the agreement given by firm to be accepted breeders without prior negotiation. The result of factor analysis showed that 7 (seven) variables qualified to produce 1 (one) motivation formation. The main motivation that influenced breeders in partnership with PT. Mitra Anugerah Satwa in Kampar Kiri Tengah District Kampar Regency were awards, working conditions, employment, compensation, company policies, achievements, and monitoring. The problems that occur in a partnership between farmers with firm partner (a) problems in pre-production phase were the agreement made by firm without negotiated with breeders (100%), the contract of production mean’s price determined unilaterally (100%), and the deposit or guarantee militated breeders (60%); (b) problem in production phase was lack of clarity in the quality standards of production means by firm (100%); (c) problem in post-production phase no dominant issue; and (d) problems in supporting phase were the absence of arbitration (100%) and the lack of supporting institutions (100%).     Keywords : Broiler, Motivation of Breeder, Partnership

Abstract

This research aims to analize the financial feasibility and to analize the level of sensivity of fish feed agroindustry business.This research uses the case study method, the object of the research is a fish feed business in Kuok district Kampar regency. Investment criteria used in analyzing the financial feasibility is Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) dan Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C). The results of the research showed that fish feed agroindustry business is feasible to run and developed with the value of NPV as Rp. 3.122.202.366,00(NPV bigger than zero), Net B/C of 2,78 (Net B/C bigger than one) and IRR stay at DF 64% (IRR bigger than DF 12%).The results ofthe sensitivityanalysisshowedthatifthe businesshave a risk from the increases bran prices by 12%, dried fishprice increasesof 12%,a decrease infishfeed production 25% and decline of production time to 23 days in 1 month, then businessisnotsensitive to therisks and the business is worth tobe continued. Resulting risk is not worth the effort, in case sensitivity the increases bran prices by 21,05%, dried fishprice increasesof 26,96%,a decrease infishfeed production34,72% and decline of production time to 13 days in 1 month.   Keywords: Fish Feed Agroindustry, Financial Feasibility, Sensivity
