Abstract

This study aims to Analyze changed income before and after credit “bakulan” received by micro business in the BPR Sarimadu in Pekanbaru and formulate policy implications that have been done to improve the disbursement in the BPR Sarimadu, in order to increase revenue micro business. The sampling method is purposive sampling. Micro business who became sample on this research is the trading businesses of vegetable and fruit. There are 302 debtors of credit “bakulan” in BPR Sarimadu. 22 of them are vegetable and fruit trading businesses and they are including into the micro bussines. The analysis used different test average, the results showed that t greater than t table. Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted so it is concluded that there is a real difference in the average income of the debtor by micro business after getting credit bakulan in the BPR Sarimadu. Stated that the provision of credit bakulan is very effective in order to increase revenue debtors micro business.   Keyword: income, credit “bakulan", comparassion income.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the combination of catching and processing fish products are appropriate in order to achieve optimal conditions and analyze the allocation of resources owned by the firm to achieve optimal conditions. This research was conducted in Desember 2012 to July 2013 with a survey method. direct interviews with employees KUB (Kelompok usaha bersama) sinar rohil both on land and at sea as well as direct observation of the field conditions where the authors study This research aims to provide information about the activities of the optimization of production systems at the company Data processing method uses operations research techniques with linear programming aided by software QM for windows. Refined analysis of process data can be viewed through 3 stages: analysis of primal, dual analysis and sensitivity analysis. The activities of production management are fishing operations in the fishing ground and processing the fish on land The result of optimization calculation on 15 GT vessels show that in optimum condition system cathching and fish processing black fomfret  weighing 2.959 kg , silver fomfret 6.315 kg, and torpedo scad weighing 5.614 kg that give profit to the company. While excessive resources or resource constraints become inactive is fuel, bait, operational budget, budget marine workers, auxiliary raw materials, labor and drying place.   Keywords: Optimization, System Catching, Linear Programming

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to acknowledge the financial feasibility of the agro-industry amplang prawn crackers Jumelda (in NPVJRR, Net B’C) and to see the le1el of ssitivitv on afro-industries.. if there is a change in the level of prices of raw materials (shrimp and tapioca flour) and a decreasing in production scale. Based on the analysis of investment criteria which carried on the business life of 20-year period, obtained the NPV ‘s value is Rp .676. 205.478,31, the IRR’ s value is higher than discount rate: that is 44:66%, and Net B.’C’s value is 329. The results of the sensitivity analysis on 20% of the shrimp raw price increasing obtained Rp.611.770.3897:42 of NPV’s value with percentage change of NPV’s value is 9,53%.. The sensitivity analysis of 17% increasing on tapioca flours price resulting Rp.650.983.013:94 of NPV’s value with perc.itage change in NPV is 3,73%. The results of the sensitivity analysis when the reduction in the scale of production is more than 35,41% thai the agro-industry is no longer feasible to run and delop, because on that condition the value of NPV is already negative, net value of B I C is less than one and the IRR’ s value is less than the cost of capital which has been detecmined at 1 8% (IRR <DR) Keywords: agroindustry, finacial analysis, sensitivity analysis

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of individual variables, organizational variables and psychology variables working for farmers. The author took hypothesized that individual, organizational and psychology variables simultaneously or partially have a positive and significant effect on the behavior of farmers in sub Maharatu. The research method is used descriptive an quantitative methods of statistical analysis using linier regression. The data used primary and secondary. Researchers used 70 vegetables farmers in the sample. The study’s results shows that the individual, organizational and psychology variables simultaneously and partially have a slight positive and significant influence on the behavior of vegetable growers working in Maharatu Village, Marpoyan Damai Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City. Of the coefficient of determination is known that the contribution of the influence of individual, organizational and psychology variables of the work to 58,2 % while the remaining 41,7 % is influenced by other variables not included in this models.   Keywords : Individual, organizational, psychology, working behavior

Abstract

The purpose of this research are:  (a) to know the development of Indonesia’s sugar consumption aggregately during 1980-2011  (b) to analyze the factors that affecting on production, consumption, and domestic price of sugar in Indonesia (c) to analyze the changing’s influence of exogenous factor on endogenous factor. The data that used is time series data of 1992-2011 obtained from various source such as BPS, DGI,  Ditjen Perkebunan etc. the analysis method that used is 2SLS method with simultaneous model. The result of this research shows that the development of sugar’s consumption aggregate in Indonesia during 1980-2011 has been increasing from year to year. However, the increasing of sugar’s consumption haven’t comparable yet with the increasing of domestic sugar’s production. Sugar’s production significantly affected by sugar cane’s plantation area and coffee’s price as complement product. Direct consumption of sugar significantly affected by civilization’s quantity and the consumption’s a year before. While the domestic price significantly affected by world’s price, the exchange value of Rupiah and the price a year before. The increasing of capita’s income affecting on increasing of direct consumption, the production and domestic price of sugar. The increasing of  world’s sugar price affecting on the increasing of sugar’s production and domestic price while the consumption of sugar is decreasing. The increasing of Rupiah’s value affecting on decreasing of consumption, increasing domestic price of sugar , and increasing of sugar’s production.  The increasing of sugar’s import value affecting on decreasing of domestic sugar’s production, while the consumption of sugar is increasing because of the domestic’s price is decreasing. Abstract

The purposes of this research is to determind the organizing of extension oil palm plantations and to determind the agricultural extension field perceptions for importance the role of extension oil palm plantations. The method taked of data used is a survey method. Intake of respondents in this study conducted with purposive sampling with consideration of agricultural extention field with civil servants status in the agricultural extension center model in XIII Koto Kampar District with total six respondents. Data were analyzed with descriptive analyzed method of Likert's Summated Rating Scale. Variables this research are the role of extension sourch Mardikanto (2009) and Law No. 16 of 2006 of nine sub-variables. The result illustrate that organizing of extension in XIII Koto Kampar District has gone well according the elements of extension. The agricultural extension field perceptions describe the role of extension are "important" with a score of 3.92,  this can be seen from the sub-variables: (1) Facilitating the learning process is “important” with a score of 3.92; (2) Ease of acces is “important” with a score of 4.02; (3) Leadership ability is “important” with a score of 3.96; (4) Developing the organization is “important” with a score of 4.00; (5) Analyzing and solving problems is “important” with a score of 3.97; (6) Developing awareness is “important” with a score of 3.71; (7) Institutionalizing the cultural values is “important” with a score of 3.80; (8) Supervision or guidance is “important” with a score of 4.17; and (9) Evaluation is “important” with a score of 3.78.   Keywords: agricultural extension field perceptions, the importance of role extension, and oil palm plantations.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Kotorajo village, Kuantan Hilir Seberang district. The method of taking sampling use probability sampling technique. The method of data analysis using descriptive analysis, Cartesian diagram analysis, and Rank Spearman correlation analysis and the model of Fishbien multiattribute attitude. The result of this research showed that for the sallling rubber of the farmers droved the rubber in to the seller keeper house with th transportation service. The attribute was paying cash, giving loans, keeping the deal, fast and good in service were the excellent attribute that must be hold by the seller keeper. For the relationship between the farmers level of trust, the characteristics of education correlate manifestly with shrinkage and sorting, the characteristics of productions correlate manifestly with attribute paying in advance directly, and provide the production facilities. The characteristics of income correlate manifestly with attribute paying in advance directly and kinship relation and the characteristics of outcome correlate manifestly with attribute providing the production facilities. On the other hand, for the correlation characteristict with the level of interest, the characteristics of the amount of family insurance correlate manifestly with attribute paying in advance directly and kinship relation and the characteristics of outcome correlate manifestly with attribute the price and paying in advance directly. While, the attitude of the farmers of the traders belongs to neutral category. Key words: fcharacteristics, farmer, attitude, attribute, seller keeper.

Abstract

Bread’s industry have a good prospect in the future. One of many kind bread’s industry that old and eksist until now is bobo bread’s bakery. This business has producted since 1983 located on jalan kuras number 19 Kecamatan Senapelan Kelurahan Kampung Baru in Pekanbaru City. The analysis data use method descriptive quatitative by statistical product service solution (SPSS) version 17. Characteristic security product (permitted, higienis and safety to consume) negative relation and very real with customers address principle security product, it’s more important for customer. Characteristic of customers for income every month it’s real  with fasty attribute service, it’s mean that customers who have in the middle income priority fasty service and characteristic bill out of customers every buy bread it’s very real relation with the kind of taste and the kind of shape, it’s mean customers priority taste because the buy according to their desire. Abstract

The purposes of this research are : (1) To identify the role of extension on oil palm independent smallholder farmers; (2) To know empowerments level of the farmers (3) To analyse the relation between extension’s role and  empowerment of  the farmers in Kampar District. This research was conducted at Sikijang Village at Tapung Hilir sub-district and Bukit Kemuning village at Tapung Hulu sub-district. Research’s samples was determined by purposive sampling methods by consideration that the location has active extension activities and has farmers group. The sample number are 60 the farmers. Validity and reliability analysis has been done on the measuring instruments by conduction try out to 30 respondents. Data’s analysis to acknowledge the first and second research purpose used Scale Likert’s summated Rating (SLR), whereas multiple linear regression was used to acknowledge the third purpose of this research. The Result showed that: (1) Extension role has been instrumental in the farmers activities as seen from the education, dissemination, facilitation, consultation, supervision, monitoring and evaluation variables; (2) Extension activities has been going well in empowering human resources, productive economy, and the farmers institutional in Kampar Regency; and (3) Empowerment of the farmers affected significantly by the role of extension in education, facilitation and consultation, and monitoring and evaluation, while the role of extension does not significantly effecting on dissemination and supervision of the farmers empowerments.   Keywords: extension’s role, empowerments, independent smallholder farmers, palm oil

Abstract

The research was conducted in District Samosir and aimed to identify the role of the agricultural sector  in the regional economy and the likely changes the position of agricultural sector in the future. The research method usest in this study are Locationt Quotient Analysis, Dynamic Location Quotient, Coefficient of Localization and Specialization, Shift share Analysis And Growth Profile Analysis. This research use data of GDP from 2006-2010 and related data. The results showed that Agriculture sector is a base sector of the economy at district  Samosir. There are five sub-sectors of agriculture sector in Samosir regency food crops sub-sector , Plantation , Livestock, Forestry , Fisheries. Results Locationt Quotient ( LQ ) shows that the sub sector Livestock and Forestry is a sector basis . analysis while the analysis of the Location Quotient and Dynamic Location Quotient show that Agriculture sector is expected to change from base sector tobe non base in the future. Localization coefficient indicates that agricultural activities carried out in the district are concentrated in Samosir and specialize in livestock and forestry sub-sectors . Shift share results indicate a positive shift in the economic structure in District Samosir. Agriculture sector growth profile describes indicate a slow growth and poor competitiveness compared with other regions in North Sumatera Utara Province.
