Abstract

The research aims to obtain the superior genotypes of chili (Capsicum annuum L.) that give respons to fertilizer, able to grow and adapted so well, then produce  high  quality  of  yield  at  peat  land.  The  research  was  conducted  by experiment method. The experiment used Split Plot Design contained 3 times of repetition  and  2  times  formulation  of  fertilizer  that  consisted  formulation  of fertilizer I (Urea 600 kg/ha, TSP 500 kg/ha, KCl 400 kg/ha, organic fertilizer 10 ton/ha) and formulation of fertilizer II (NPK 700 kg/ha where organic fertilizer 15 ton/ha) as principal plot and 3 genotypes (IPB C-120 x IPB C-5, IPB C-2 x IPB C-120  and  IPB  C-5  x  IPB  C-120)  as  subplot.  The  variables  observed  were diameter of stem, high of  dichotomous, wide of branches, age of blooming, the diameter, length, and weight of fruit  respectively and the weight of fruits per plant. The result showed that superior genotypes and formulation of fertilizer in genotypes 3 (IPB C- 5 x IPB C-120) with the formulation of fertilizer II, it was NPK 700 kg/ha and organic fertilizer 15 ton/ha.   Keyword : Genotypes of chili, formulation of fertilizer, peatland.

Abstract

Mustard ( Brasica few parachinensis L ) is a popular and widely grown in Indonesia . To increase the production of mustard , it is necessary to fertilization. Fertilization is one of the important factors in the success of the cultivation of plant. One of the alternatives that can be used to reduce inorganic fertilizer is to use biological fertilizers. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of various dosis of biological fertilizers which contain active ingredient Bacillus sp. and to get the best doses for the growth of mustard (Brasicca rapa parachinensis L). This research was conducted in the experimental field of Agriculture Faculty, University of Riau in April to Mei 2016. The study was conducted by using completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and                     4 replications. Data were analyzed statistically using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and followed by Duncan's New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at 5% level. Parameters measured were the plant height , leaf number , fresh weight of plants / plot , leaf area , root volume, weight of plants/plots in consumption. The results were analyzed statistically using analysis of varian Provision fertilizer active ingredient Bacillus sp. showed different results with the measurement of weight of the plant is consumed and broad leaf plants. The result showed that aren’t significantly different at parameter plant height, number of leaves and root volume. Provision of biological fertilizer active ingredient Bacillus sp. with doses 40 ml/polybag is the best dose for weight parameters consumed plant and leaf area.   Keyword: Tofu liquid waste, Bacillus sp, Brasicca rapa parachinensis L

Abstract

ABSTRACT The research aimed to determine the effect of interaction giving of vermicompost fertilizer and cow urine to the growth of oil palm seeds (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) and get a suitable combination for the growth of oil palm seedlings in main nursery. The research was conducted from April to July 2015. The research used to completely randomized design (CRD) factorial consisting of two factors . The first factor is vermicompost fertilizer consists of 4 levels: vermicompost fertilizer dose of 0 g/plant, vermicompost fertilizer dose of 25 g/plant, vermicompost fertilizer dose of 50 g/plant and vermicompost fertilizer dose of 75 g/plant. The second factor is the concentration of cow urine consists of 4 levels: cow urine concentrations of 0%, cow urine concentration of 20%, cow urine concentration of 30%/ and cow urine concentration of 40%. From two factors then obtained 16 combined treatment with 3 replications. Parameters measured were increase of seed high, increase of midrib number, increase of hump circumference, root volume, root crown ratio and dry seeds weight. The data were analyzed using ANOVA followed by Duncan further test at 5% level. The results of the research showed that application vermicompost fertilizer and cow urine on oil palm seed there is interaction between giving of vermicompost fertilizer and cow urine on increase of seed high and increase of hump circumference. Combination treatment of vermicompost fertilizer dose with 125 g/plant and cow urine concentration of 40 % showed the best results of all observed parameters.   Keywords: vermicompost fertilizer, cow urine, oil palm, main nursery

Abstract

Research aims to understand the influence of effluent and get doses good for growth seeds palm oil (elaeisguneensisjacq) in play a nursery. This study was conducted in the garden experiment the faculty agricultural university riau,campus binawidya km 12.5 simpang new, kecamatan handsome, pekanbaru,  with the height of 10 m dpl. This study was conducted for 4 months from of the months january until april 2016 .This report is written with design random complete ( ral ) non factor by treatment effluent doses consisting of 5 treatment that is E0 = 0 kg per plants, E1 = 1.5 kg per plants,E2 = 2 kg per plants, E3 = 2.5 kg per plants, E4 = 3 kg per plants.Of the treatment, each repeated three times, so as to produce 15 a unit of experiment. Each unit experiment consisting of 2 seeds,  it takes 30 seeds and 2 seeds plant of each unit experiment are only sampled with in averaged. Observed data analyzed by an analysis of variety and were then followed by test the distance worship of idols duncan’swhile 's 5 percent. The parameters that observed between increasing number of other high, the addition of another number of leaves, the increase in circumference stems and the addition of another broad leaves. The results of the study showed that the provision of effluent had have real impact on the addition of another tall plant, the addition of another number of leaves and the addition of another broad leaves, as well as not had have real impact on the increase in circumference the stem. The provision of effluent with a dose of 2.5 kg per plants exhibiting the growth of oil palm seeds good.   Keywords :  seeds palm oil, effluent,  waste

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compost pod husks and bark compost dose of the best cacao in the medium Red Yellow Podzolic  on the growth of seedlings of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq). This research was conducted at the experimental farm, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau Jl. Bina Widya Baru Simpang KM 12.5, Tampan, Pekanbaru. This study was conducted over four months starting from June 2015 to September 2015. This study was conducted experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD), which consists of 5 treatments and each treatment was repeated 4kali thus obtained 20 experimental units, each unit consisting experiment of 2 seeds. The total number of 40 seeds and seedlings observations were made at all. Parameters measured were as height seed, in the number of leaves, the increase in diameter stump, root volume, dry weight ratio of canopy seeds and roots. It can be concluded that composting pod husks on oil palm seedlings in the medium PMK significant effect on the increase seedling height, leaf number, root volume and dry weight of seedlings, but the effect is not noticeable to the diameter of the stump and roots canopy ratio. At doses of compost pod husks 125 g/polybag provide the best dose results in increase in the number of leaves, root volume and dry weight of seedlings. As for the high increment dose of compost plant pod husks best was 50 g/polybag. While on the increase in diameter tubers and roots canopy ratio dose of 100 g/polybag is the best dose.   Keywords: Palm Oil, Cocoa Fruit Feel Compost, Red-Yellow Podzolic Soil

Abstract

The purpose of this research to determine combination of green fertilizer Mucuna bracteata in some type of soil media and single-factor as well getting the best dose to the growth of oil palm seedlings. This reseach uses three type of  soil media namely, sub soil Ultisol taken from desa batu belah, kab.kampar, province Riau, sub soil Inceptisol taken from Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau and peat soil taken from Desa Rimbo Panjang, Kab. Kampar, Province Riau  as growing media.Three type of media is utilized as soil media treatment of soil mix for growing oil palm seed is ground Ultisol sub soil mixed with peat soil and sub soil Inceptisolmixed with peat soil. Treatment of the soil media mix with appropriate comparison would be able to increase the growth of oil palm seedlings that can be developed with green fertilizer Mucuna bracteata appropriate and in accordance with the ability of the soil. This research exprimental  units were arranged in Factorial Competely  Randomized Design with three replication. The first factor is composed of green fertilizer mucuna bracteata P0: Green fertilizer mucuna dose 0 g/polybag, P1: Green fertilizer mucuna dose 10,9 g/polybag, P2: Green fertilizer mucuna dose 21,6 g/polybag, P3: Green fertilizer mucuna dose 32,4 g/polybag. The second factor comprises several type of soil medium consisting of T1: Sub soil Ultisol + Peat soil, T2: Sub soil Inceptisol + Peat soil. Parameters studiet were an increase plant height, leaf number increase, the increase in diameter stump, root volume, root canopy ratio, dry weight and visual rupture leaves. The results showed that administration  of mucuna green fertilizer 21.6 g/polybag on the type of media subsoil  Inceptisol +  peat soil gives the best growth to the growth of oil palm seedlings. It is the same with the standards recommended by the research center of Indonesia oil palm seedlings. Keywords :palm oil, Mucuna bracteata, type of soil

Abstract

Pakcoy (Brassica few L.) is a type of leafy vegetable crops are very important in Indonesia because it has a high economic value. Pakcoy much in demand as a vegetable because of high nutrient content and it tastes good. Pakcoy organic cultivation by using vermicompost can be used as a good alternative considering the potential of earthworm droppings as organic material has a relatively high nutrient content. This study aimed to determine the effect of vermicompost with various doses and got the best dose of the growth and production pakcoy. This study was conducted experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD) with a dosage of vermicompost (V), which consists of 5 levels ie: V0= tanpa vermicompost (control),V1= vermicompost 1 kg / plot (10 ton/ha),V2= vermicompost 2 kg/plot (20 ton/ha),V3= vermicompost 3 kg/plot (30 ton/ha),V4= vermicompost 4 kg/plot (40 ton/ha). Each treatment consisted of 5 replicates so obtained 25 experimental unit. Each experimental unit, there are 16 plants and four plants including a plant sample randomly determined. Data of variance test later in ujilanjut with Duncan's New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at 5% level. The results showed that administration of Vermicompost can promote the growth and crop production pakcoy. Vermicompost at a dose of 4 kg/plot (40 ton/ha) have a better ability to increase growth and crop production pakcoy namely the fresh weight 622 g / plot, and plant fresh weight of 118.4 g unfit for consumption. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of interaction award palm bunch ash and fertilizers NPK, as well as getting the best treatment dose to the growth of cocoa seedlings in peat medium. The study conducted an experiment using a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial with two factors and three replications. The first factor dose palm bunch ash (0, 28,125, 56,25, 112,5 g/polybeg), while the second factor is the dose of fertilizer NPK (3,75, 7,5 g/polybeg). The result showed that the oil palm bunch ash and fertilizer NPK significantly effect the number of leaves, leaf area, the ratio of the canopy and root dry weight of cacao seeds, but the effect was not significant on seedling height and stem diameter. Award bunch ash palm and NPK can enhance the growth of cocoa seedlings. Oil palm bunch ash 112,5 g/polybag with fertilizer NPK 7,5 g/polybag is the best dose. Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine giving of the Trichocompos with urea fertilizer to found the best combination toward of the growth and plant production of mustard (Brassica juncea L.). this research conducted on August to December 2015. The research based on Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments as follows: 0 ton/ha Empty Oil Palm Bunches (TKKS) Trichocompostwith 0 kg/ha urea Fertilizer (P0), 10 ton/ha Empty Oil Palm Bunches (TKKS) Trichocompost with 60 kg/ha urea (P1), 10 ton/ha Empty Oil Palm Bunches (TKKS) Trichocompostwith 100 kg/ha urea (P2), 15 ton/ha Empty Oil Palm Bunches (TKKS) Trichocompost with60 kg/ha urea (P3) and 15 ton/ha Empty Oil Palm Bunches (TKKS) Trichocompostwith 100 kg/ha urea (P4). The parameter that observed are : height of the plant, number of leaf, wide of leaf, fresh weight of plant/m2 and fresh weight of plant proper to consumtion/m2. The result of this research showed that giving of combination Empty Oil Palm Bunches (TKKS) Trichocompost with Urea fertilizer can stimulant growth that contain of the parameter height of the plant, number of leaf, wide of plant, fresh weight of plant/m2 and fresh weight of plant proper to consumption/m2. The giving of combination treatment 15 ton/ha Trchocompos TKKS with 100 kg/ha urea is the best dosage can produce the fresh weight plant of mustard 16,15 ton/ha.   Keywords: Trichocompos, Urea fertilizer.
