Abstract

The research was conducted on august 2016 in Kuala Tanjung Indah village Batubara Regency of Riau. This research aims to compare the catch octopus use two different types of cement and native shellfish shell as control. The method use in this research is a survey conducted for 10 days. The catches during of research were 25,44kg (248 fishes). The result of research for shell is 8,85kg (86 fishes), for cup is 9,15kg(89 fishes), and for round is7,43kg (73 fishes). Abstract

ABSTRAK               This research was conducted in April 2017 in Nagari Koto Malintang, Tanjung Raya District, Agam Regency, West Sumatera Province. The purpose of this research is to identify the activity of economic activity which grow as the impact of the existence of floating net cage business and to know the multiplier effect of the existence of floating net cage business (KJA) to the economy of people living around Maninjau Lake Nagari Koto Malintang. The method of this research is quantitative method, informant is determined by Slovin formula and purposive sampling, and data is analyzed by using descriptive analysis and multiplier effect analysis.               The analysis shows that the presence of KJA's business in Kecamatan Tanjung Raya is the base sector and the presence of KJA's business in Nagari Koto Malintang has had an economic impact on the local economy. Direct economic impacts received by business unit owners with a proportion of 3.05 percent, indirect economic impacts received by local workers with a proportion of 4.64 percent and subsequent economic impacts with a proportion of 41 percent. Meanwhile, the Value of Income Multiplier Type II is 2.5. Key Word : Business, Distribution, Investment, Fish Seed, Feasible

Abstract

This study was conducted in December 2015 to January 2016. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of the quantity of worms (tail/m2) to change some basic physical parameters of soil quality peat pond was. The method used in this study is an experimental method by using a completely randomized design (CRD) that is using one factor, the level 5 treatments and 3 replications. The treatmen such as; P0: without earthworms, P1: 200 earthworms / m2 extensive media maintenance, P2: 400 earthworms / m2 extensive media maintenance, P3: 600 tail earthworms / m2 extensive media maintenance, P4: 800 animals earthworms / m2 extensive media maintenance, P5: 1000 tail earthworms / m2 extensive maintenance media. The production of vermicompost highest average is in P5 at 216, 43 g.Keyword: Earthworm, Physical Parametres, Earth Quality, Peat Pool

Abstract

This research was conducted in October 2016 in the waters of Bintan Strait of Desa Pengujan of Bintan Regency of Kepulauan Riau Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of seagrass density, macrozoobenthic abundance and seagrass density relation to macrozoobenthic abundance in waters of Bintan Strait of Desa Pengujan. This research uses survey method and location of observation determined by Purposive sampling.The location of the observation is divided into 3 stations, the first station is adjacent to the fish seed area, the second station is between the fish seed and magrove area and the third station is adjacent to the magrove area.The number of seagrasses found in 4 species are: Enhalus acoroides, Halopila minor, Halodule uninervis, and Thalassia hemprichii, which have very high seagrass density, and identified macrozoobenthos species are 3 classes: Gastropoda, Bivalva and Asteroidea, consisting of 13 species at 3 observation stations, 7 species of gastopod class, 5 species of bivalve class and 1 species of Asteroidea class, with abundant levels of abundance. The density of seagrass to makrozoobentos abundance of 18%, while 82% influenced by other environmental factors such as physical parameters, chemistry and organic matter content in the waters.Keyword : Pengujan village, Seagrass, Macrozoobenthos

Abstract

                                    ABSTRAC   The research was conducted in August 2017 in Bantar Village, West Rangsang Subdistrict, Meranti Island, Riau Province. This study aims to determine the types of composition of the catch of waves operated day and night in Bantar Village, Ransang District, western District of Kepulauan Meranti, Riau Province. The method used in this research is survey and research conducted during 6 days of capture. The catch during the study was 141.34 kg (15541). Result of research of composition of catch Gombang during the day is 51.49 kg (7656 head), while at night 89.85 kg (7950 head). The catch consists of fifteen species. Night catches are bigger than daytime catches. Their catches are lomek fish (Horpodon neherus), prawn thorn (Alphases sp), fish kitang (Scatophagus argus), fish senutang (Lutjanidae campechanus), red shrimp (Paneus monodon), White shrimp (Penaus merguininsis), lobster (Nephropidae) , fish mackerel (Cybium commersoni), sea fish (Steppina breniceps), fish selangat (Chirocentrus dorab), layur fish (Thirchius savala), crabs (Portunidae), octopus (loligo sp), fish thorn (Arius caelatus), white pomfret (Pampus argentus).             Keywords: Gombang, Composition Catch Fish, Afternoon and Night              Period, village Bantar

Abstract

This research was conducted in February to April 2016 in the Laboratoryof Fish Hatchery and Breeding (PPI) Faculty of Fisheries and Marine SciencesUniversity of Riau. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect ovapriminjection of different doses of the ovulation and hatchery siban Fish. The methodused in this research is the method Experiment with direct observation of theobject being treated, by trying ovaprim different doses injected in siban fish _(Cyclocheilicthys Apogon). With completely randomized design (CRD) with afactor of four treatments and three replications. The treatments were P0 (0.9%sodium chloride injection of a dose of 0.2 ml / kg body weight of the mother), P1(ovaprim Injecting a dose of 0.3 ml / kg body weight of the mother), P2 (ovaprimInjecting a dose 0.5 ml / kg body weight of the mother), P3 (ovaprim Injecting adose of 0.7 ml / kg body weight of the mother).From the results of this study showed best treatment there in treatment P3with ovaprim dose of 0.7 ml / kg body weight, with an average latency time of7.07 hours, the number of eggs striping results as much as 365 grains / gramparent, the rate of conception by 77 , 16%, number of hatching at 77.75% and thenumber of survival by 77.98%. Water quality measurements during the study astemperature 28-300 C, pH 5-6 and 4.5 to 6.0 ppm dissolved oxygen.Keywords : siban Fish (Cyclocheilichthys apogon), Ovaprim, kelulushidupan

Abstract

Anthropogenic activities conducted around the Parit Belanda River may produce organic pollutant that affect the water quality in general and it is reflected in the concentration of chlorophyll-a in the water. A research aim to determine the trophic status of the Parit Belanda River based on chlorophyll-a concentration has been carried out in December 2016. There are three stations namely station 1 (in the upstream), station 2 (in the middle), and station 3 (in the downstream). Samplings were conducted once/week for 4 weeks period. Water quality parameters measured were temperature, pH, transparency, turbidity, DO, CO2, nitrate and phosphate. Result shown that chlorophyll-a concentration range from 8.15-11.56 μg/L. Water quality parameters were as follows: temperature 28-290C, pH 5-6, transparency 46.5-55.8 cm, turbidity 19.24-25.06 FTU, DO 2.30-5.10 mg/L, CO2 32.96-54.94 mg/L, nitrate 0.076-0.137 mg/L and phosphate 0.221-0.264 mg/L. Based on the chlorophyll-a concentration, the Parit Belanda River can be categorized as mesotrophic.Keywords : chlorophyll-a, mesotrophic, water quality, Parit Belanda River

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini telah dilakukan di Laboratorium Teknologi Hasil Perikanan, dan Laboratorium Kimia Hasil Perikanan, Fakultas Perikanan dan Kelautan Universitas Riau pada bulan Mei 2017. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan tepung kacang hijau terhadap mutu bakso ikan lele dumbo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen yaitu melakukan pengolahan bakso dengan penambahan tepung kacang hijau. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial dengan 4 taraf perlakuan, yaitu B0: Bakso tanpa penambahan tepung kacang hijau, B1: penambahan tepung kacang hijau 20 g, B2: penambahan tepung kacang hijau 40 g, B3: penambahan tepung kacang hijau 60 g.  Percobaan diulang sebanyak 3 kali, sehingga jumlah satuan percobaan pada penelitian adalah 12 unit. Berdasarkan organoleptik menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan yang paling disukai konsumen yaitu nilai organoleptik B2dari setiap perlakuan dilihat dari nilai rupa, rasa, aroma, dan tekstur secara berturut-turut adalah 6,92, 7,61, 7,00 7,45,. Dari hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan pada perlakuan B2mempunyai karakteristik rupa warna kekuningan, rasa bakso gurih, aroma daging ikan yang tercium, bumbu-bumbu tercium, serta tekstur yang  kenyal, dan padat. Sedangkan hasil analisa proksimat terbaik B3 dibanding dari setiap perlakuan dilihat dari kadar air, kadar protein, kadar lemak, kadar abu dan kadar serat. secara berturut-turut adalah 65,90%, 12,71%, 2,69%, 1,43%, 3,92%. Kata kunci: Ikan Lele Dumbo, Tepung Kacang Hijau, Bakso

Abstract

This research aimed To determine the optimum quality of Spirulina added to the catfish (Pangasius hypophthalmus) PFC ice cream making accepted by consumers. The method used was experimental and composed as CDR. The treatment consisted of 4 levels, namely: S0 (without Spirulina, as a control), S1 (0,45% Spirulina), S2 (0,60% Spirulina), and S3 (0,75% Spirulina). The parameters used were chemical and organoleptic evaluation. The result showed that the FPC ice cream added with Spirulina 3,6 g was indicated the highest consumer acceptance at 90%. The characteristic of appearance was green, little smell of Spirulina, the texture was soft and the flavor was sweet and delicious. The product contained 48,18% water, 19,46% protein, 3,19% fat and characterized emulsion stability 88,56%.Keywords : Ice cream, Fish Pritein Concentrate, Spirulina.

Abstract

The research was conducted from August to November 2016, in the peat soil of ponds at Kualu Nenas, Kampar District, Riau Province. Observation of phytoplankton have been done in the Laboratory of Environment Quality of Aquaculture, Aquaculture Department, Fisheries and Marine Faculty. Objective of this study was to determine the best kinds of biofertilizer to increase the abundance of phytoplankton in the peat soil of ponds. Method this research using a Complete Randomized Design (CRD) was one factor with 3 levels of treatment. The kinds of using are P0 (without giving the biofertilizer), P1 (biofertilizer from chicken feses 9,4 kg m-2), P2 (biofertilizer from cow feses 9,4 kg m-2) and P3 (biofertilizer from human feces 9,4 kg m-2). The best of treatment of this research was the P3 (biofertilizer from human feces 9,4 kg m-2). Phytoplankton abundance this treatment is 5.331 individu/L, rather than of the other treatment. The water quality parameters in this research is good, especially of temperature 27-32 0C, pH 5-7, dissolved oxygen 2,7-5,7 mg/L, nitrate 2,54-3,61 ppm and orthoposfat 1,50-2,26 ppm. Then, carbon dioxide is highly 12,90-29,98 mg/L refering for the Quality Standart of Aquaculture.Keywords: Biofertilizer, Azotobacter sp., Phytoplankton, Water quality
