Abstract

Abstract: This classroom action research was aimed to find out if the story telling technique could improve the speaking skill of the second year students of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru.The participants were 28 students. The data was collected by using observation sheet,speaking tests, and field notes. The research finding indicated that the application of using story telling technique could improve students’ speaking ability both at the first cycle and second cycle. The result of pre-test shows the average score of students speaking ability was 48.2. It improved to 64.9 on the post-test 1 and 76.1on the post-test 2. It was also proved that applying story telling technique in teaching speaking could improve students’ interest and motivation to speak and share ideas with their friends in groups. In addition, applying story telling technique could also improve students’ ability to speak English in terms of grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, fluency, and comprehension.Keywords:Story Telling Technique, speaking Ability

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research is the facts that occurred in the fourth SDN 023 Kerubung Jaya, who showed symptoms of the students did not master the material science lessons have been learned. The problem of this research is "Is the Problem Based model application intructions (PBI) can improve learning outcomes science subjects Grade IV SDN 023 Kerubung Jaya KacamatanBatang Cenaku?". The purpose of this research to improve learning outcomes of science subjects Grade IV through the application of the model Problem Based Intructions (PBI) in SDN 023 Kerubung Jaya subdistrict Batang Cenaku Indragiri Hulu. This study took place in the fourth grade SDN 023 Kerubung Jaya and held on March 22 until April 1, 2016 with the number of subjects as many as 25 people consisting of 14 male students and 11 female students. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Based on the results the percentage increase learning outcomes in basic score, an average of 61.4 increased in Deuteronomy Daily I became 75, with the increase of 22.14%. In Deuteronomy Daily II increased to 81.4 with an increase of 8.5%. An overall increase of 30.63%. So we can conclude the implementation of the model Problem Based Intructions (PBI) can improve learning outcomes IPA fourth grade students of SD Negeri 023 Kerubung Jaya subdistrict Batang Cenaku second semester of academic year 2015/2016. Keywords: Problem Based Model Intructions, Learning Outcomes, IPA

Abstract

Abstract: The research carried out base on the lowly of the result of science in grade IV B SD Negeri 64 Pekanbaru which is from 40 students who did not complete were 24 students, meanwhile the minimal completeness criterion (KKM) stated is 70. This research is classroom action research (CAR). The purpose of this research is to improve science learning process of class IV B SD Negeri 64 Pekanbaru in academic year 2015/2016 through Quantum Teaching Model. The research was conducted into 2 cycles. Each cycle consist of two meeting and one test. The instrument used in this study is the teacher and student’s activity sheet as well as learning about the test result. This study presents an increase of average teacher’s activity in the first cycle in first meeting is 75%, the second meeting increase to 86%. The second cycle increase from 89% to 97%. Student activity based on the result of research on first cycle is from 62% in the first meeting to 79% in the second meeting. In the second cycle increase from 91% in the first meeting to 95% in the second meeting. Based on the research of students learning outcome increased from the base score 74,5 to 76,5 in the first cycle and the second cycle increase become 82,8. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the implementation of Quantum Teaching Model can improve the student’s achievement in science subject of class IVB SD Negeri 64 Pekanbaru. Key words: Quantum Teaching Model, Learning Result of Science Subject

Abstract

ABSTRACT, The background of the problem in this research is not optimal yet dollyo chagi ability extracurricular students SMAN 1 Bangko Pusako. This problem can be seen from the observation of researchers during training and exhibition, it is suspected because of explosive power legs muscles. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a corelation of explosive power legs muscles with dollyo chagi ablility in extracurricular students of SMAN 1 Bangko Pusako. This type of research is correlational comparing the measurement results of two different variables in order to determine the degree of correlation between these variables. As independent variables (X1) is a explosive power legs muscles while the dependent variable (Y) is the dollyo chagi ability. The research data was obtained from the vertical jump test, and dollyo chagi kick test. Based on the research results can be concluded as follows: "there is a significant corelation between explosive power legs muscles and dollyo chagi ability taekwondo athletes in extracurricular students SMA Negeri 1 Bangko Pusako. It is characterized by the results obtained by the count r = 0.81> r table = 0.361, while th (5.1660)> t (1,76).Keywords : Explosive Power Legs Muscles, Dollyo Chagi

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to find out whether there is a significant effect of using pictures in teaching writing descriptive text of the second year students of SMPN 1 Siak Hulu in the Academic Year 2016/2017 in writing descriptive text. This is a pre-experimental research conducted by using a pre-test – treatment – post-test design. This research used one group pretest-posttest design. The instrument used in this research was tests (pretest and posttest). The population of this research was 296 of the Second Year Students of SMPN 1 Siak Hulu and the sample of this research is the VIII E of SMPN 1 Siak Hulu which is total number of students of class is 35 students. The data of this research were collected by giving the writing test about descriptive text (pretest-posttest) to the students. The collected data were analyzed by using t-test formula. The results of data analysis showed the mean score of pretest was 48.57 and the mean score of posttest was 58.95. Based on the data analysis, It can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and the post-test because the t-test observed was higher than t-table. In other words, the alternative hypothesis of this research was accepted and null hypothesis was rejected. It also meant that teaching writing by using pictures technique was effective to improve students’ writing ability especially in descriptive text.Keywords: Pictures, Writing, Descriptive Text

Abstract

Abstract : The problem of this research was based on the observation in the field when the female team of Anjungan Junior Pekanbaru did exercise and match. The team still lost in the match. It happened because the team failed in doing upper service. This research aimed to figure out that there was the contribution of wrist and service accuracy coordination in volley ball for female team of Anjungan Junior Pekanbaru. The sampling technique was total sampling for female team of Anjungan Junior Pekanbaru. The sample of this research was the female team of Anjungan Junior Pekanbaru which was the amount of 12 people. Based on the analysis of X and Y contribution, rtable was in a significant level α ( 0.05 ) = 0.576. It meant rcount ( 1,21 ) >rtable ( 0.576 ) which there was relationship. Then, there was a contribution test by using the formula KD = r2 x 100%. The result showed that there was contribution of wrist and service accuracy coordination in volley ball for female team of Anjungan Junior Pekanbaru with the contribution of 1.21 % and other factors of 98.79%.Keywords : the contribution of wrist and service accuracy coordination

Abstract

Abstract : Research on the application of analogy learning strategy has been applied to improve student learning achievement on the topic of colloid class XI Science of Senior High School Number 3 Pekanbaru on May 2016. The research is experimental research based on pretest-posttest design. The samples consisted student of two classes, XI Science 3 as experimental class and XI Science 2 as control class that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Analogy Learning Strategy applied in XI Science 3. Analysis of data used t-test. Results of data processing obtained tcount> ttable (4,84>1,67). It means that the application of analogy learning strategy can improve student learning achievement on the topic of colloid in class XI Science of Senior High School Number 3 Pekanbaru. The improvement category of student learning achievement at experimental class was high category with normalized N gain which 0, 71.Keywords : Analogy Learning Strategy, Learning Achievement and Colloid.

Abstract

Abstract: Background of this research by the low results of social studies class III Sintong SDN 033, with an average grade 65.28. While the value of minimum completeness criteria (KKM) IPA is 70. Of the 18 students who completed only 6 people, while 12 others were incomplete. This study aims to improve learning outcomes IPS Class III students of SDN 033 Sintong. This research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted by two cycles and twice daily test (replications end of the cycle) to implement cooperative learning model NHT. The subjects were students of class III Elementary School Sintong 033, with the number of students as many as 18 people. Data collection instruments used were observation sheet activities of teacher and student activity and learning about the test results. Based on the analysis of research data after learning corrective action on the first cycle increased the average value of students increased to 69.44. In the second cycle increased again with the average value becomes 73.89. Activities teachers in the learning process also increased from 53.33% increase to 83.33% at the end of the cycle two. The increased activity of teachers also have an impact on student activity from data analysis activities of students in the first cycle the first meeting of 62.50% increased in the second meeting of the two cycles to 83.33%. Thus the results of this study indicate that the hypothesis is proven.Key Words: Cooperative NHT, learning outcomes IPS

Abstract: Based on the information with the trainer and the field observation that the futsal team PSSP KUANSING still not maximal in mastering futsal game. As well as researchers see the physical condition of team players futsal PSSP KUANSING still far from expected, it is evident from almost every championship team players futsal PSSP KUANSING often experience a decrease in physical conditions such as endurance during the match. This is evident from the match that was done for 2x 20 minutes. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of training circuit training on the durability of futsal players PSSP KUANSING2. population in this study is ats futsal PSSP KUANSING amounted to 10 people. Sampling technique is by sampling saturation is the technique of determining the sample when all members of the population used as a sample. To obtain the desired data, the authors use a tool to collect data in this study is a 2.4 km run. Obtained in the analysis using the t-test. Based on the results of this study, a t test that produces t count of 8.837 with ttable 1.833 is accepted, at alpha level (0.05) It can be concluded that there is influence of training sircuit training on endurance In Futsal players PSSP KuansingKeywords: Circuit Training, Endurance

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research id to described the structre magic medicine category in Teluk Pinang village Indragiri Hilir regency. Magic is kind of the oral literature that formed of poetry. Considering that magic is a poetry and a poetry has structures. So, this thesis analyzed the structure and magic medicine category. The existence of magic medicine is influenced of people reliance in Teluk Pinang village it self. The aim of this research is to described the opening and closing structure of magic and the magic category. The medicine is like handover,prerequment or sign and sacred. The method of this research is descriptive qualitative which use mimetic approach as a historic sosiological approach. The technique of data collecting is using observation, interview and documentation/recording. The data analysis is used the data reduction technique,data disiplay,condision drawing/verification. Based on the result of analysis,it can be concluded that the structures of magic medicine have form of opening part, content and closing the category of magic medicine grouped by handover, prerequirement,or sign and sacred.Keywords: The Structure,Category,Magic Medicine.
