Abstract

Abstract: This study is based on a problem how Pangean Against Public Perception Procedure Crowning Pangulu Nan Barompek degree in Kenegerian Pangean Singingi Regency Kuantan. Perception in this sense refers to the three elements, namely: (1) Selection Process pangulu barompek nan, (2) The series of events, and (3) The Coronation of Indigenous degree. Sample size was 35 respondents. The purpose of this coronation customary title is that these people have traditional leaders so that the custom is not lost. (Azizah, 2000). The problems of this research is How Public Perception Of Coronation Procedures Pangulu Nan Barompek degree in Kenegerian Pangean Singingi Kuantan District. This study aims Knowing Bagaiamanakah Procedures Against Public Perception Crowning Pangulu Nan Barompek degree in Kenegerian Pangean Singingi Regency Kuantan. This research was conducted in the District of Pangean Regency Kuantan Singingi lasted from February to May 2014. Population in this study were all Pangean society Subdistrict totaling 18 957 people. The sampling technique was purposive sampling technique, the sample in this study was 35. Data collection techniques used were in the form of observation, questionnaire techniques, interview techniques, technical documentation, and library research techniques. In analyzing the data using qualitative methods deskripstif simple. Adapaun hypothesis in this research is the perception Societies Procedures Crowning Pangulu Nan Barompek degree in District Pangean Kuantan District Singingi "Not Good". The results of this study indicate that the District Public Pangean Singingi Regency Kuantan with a percentage of 43.8% and included into the category benchmark for "good enough" is the benchmark of 25.01% -50.00%. So the hypothesis: Public Perception Of Degree Crowning Pangulu Procedures in the District of Nan Barompek Pangean Regency Kuantan Singingi "good enough" is acceptable.Keywords: Perception, Coronation Pangulu Nan Barompek, Kenegerian Pangean

Abstract

Abstract: The use of cooperative learning model of Group Investigation (GI) helps the process of learning mathematics in SDN 030 Ujung Tanjung. This study aims to improve learning outcomes mathematics Elementary School fourth grade SDN 030 Ujung Tanjung Tanah Putih by implementing cooperative learning model of Group Investigation (GI). This research is a classroom action research. In this study used two research instruments namely learning devices and data collection instruments. Based on the results of research and discussion that has been described, the following: Activity of teachers in the application of cooperative models Group Investigation (GI) in the first cycle of the first meeting increased 55.55%, 66.66% the second meeting, the first meeting of the second cycle 68.88% increase the second meeting be 88.88%. Activities of students in the application of cooperative models Group Investigation (GI) obtain data on the first cycle of the first meeting increased 52.77% and 63.88% second meeting, then at the first meeting of the second cycle obtain increased 88.88% 69.44% The second was a meeting. Learning outcomes of students has increased an average start preliminary data obtained with an average of 61.56 or (43.75%) students who completed 7 of 16 students. After improvement of learning through cooperative model of type Group Investigation (GI), the UH first cycle increased by an average gained 70.94 or (62.50%) students who completed 10 of 16 students. UH increased in the second cycle with an average of 83.12 or (81.25%) students who completed 13 of 16 students. Key Words: Cooperative Learning Model of Group Investigation (GI), Math Learning      Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: The research problem that the writer found is that chemistry learning at class X.10 of SMAN 5 Pekanbaru is not condusive yet. In learning process, students are only as listeners and write notes if teacher write something on board. During learning process, students seldom ask a question. This research is aimed to know the improvement of students learning activity and mastery learning by using Hydrocarbon domino card at X.10 class of SMAN 5 Pekanbaru in academic year 2015/2016. This research is a class action research with two cycles in research design. The sample of this research was X.10 class which was given an action for improvement in learning process by using Hydrocarbon domino card media. The data collection was conducted by observing and giving tests. The data analysis technique was conducted descriptively by using percentage technique. Based on the result of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of Hydrocarbon domino card media can improve students learning activity and completeness at X.10 class of SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. It can be seen by the improvement of students learning activity from 69,72% at the first cycle to 85,97% at the second cycle and students learning completeness from 87,50% at the first cyle to 100% at the second cycle.Key Words : Hydrocarbon Domino Card Media, Learning Completeness, Hydrocarbons

Abstract : Based on the researcher’s observation of student in class V SDN 009 of Bangkinang. Researcher found discovered a weakness of under passing. It can be seen from some of the mtches have been followed. The purpose of this research is to the corelation hand-eyes coordination with under passing of mini vollyball of student in class V SDN 009 of Bangkinang. Population in this research were all students in class V SDN 009 of Bangkinang amount 22 people. Based on population that is not so large and within the limits the researchers set the whole population is used as a sample. The research sample as many as 22 people. Research instrument measure hand-eyes coordination test and under passing test. Data were analyzed by product moment correlation. Based on research results, it can be concluded as follows : there is corelation hand-eyes coordination with under passing of mini vollyball of student in class V SDN 009 of Bangkinang.Key word : hand-eyes coordination, under passing

Abstract

Abstract: based on the results of field observations on the level of emotional intelligence of the students is still low and teachers are still teaching methods that dominate and not varied. So that needs to be given in the form of a method of learning to play a role. This study aims to determine how high the increase emotional intelligence of children after using the method of playing the role of children aged 3-4 years in KB Kasih Ibu Pisang Berebus. The research method is a method of classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of several stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The number of subjects in this study 15 children in KB Kasih Ibu Pisang Berebus. Data taken from the evaluation at the end of each cycle. This study involved one colleague as an observer. Based on the data obtained from the results of the percentage increase in the first cycle is 40,9% and increased in the second cycle is 60,6%. It can be thus it can be concluded that the method of playing the role can improve emotional intelligence in children 3-4 years in KB Kasih Ibu pisang Berebus District of Gunung Toar Regency Kuantan Singingi.

Abstract

Abstrac:This study aims to determine the effect of basic teaching skills of teachers to wards students’ learning outcomes on accounting subject at the public high school 1 Pangaribuan Province of North Sumatera. Populasi of the research is student, grade XI IPS a much of 120; sample is gained using simple random sampling technique, resulted 55 respondents. Data then is analysed using SPSS version 16. The result showed that the basic teaching skills of teachers has significant effect on student learning outcomes, 57.6%. The more often teachers teach basic skills performed by teachers expected the higher the students learning outcomes. Simple linier regression equation obtained in this study is Y = 39,547 + 0,494 X. This means that if the teachers to teach basic skills (x) does not exist, the amount of learning outcomes (y) of 39,574 and of any increase in the teachers teaching basic skills will improve student learning outcomes at 0,494.Key Words: Teaching basic skills teachers and learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to find out whether there is a significant effect of using cue cards on the speaking ability of the eighth grade students of SMPN 3 Tambang in descriptive text. This is a pre-experimental research conducted by using a pre-test – treatment – post-test design. This research used one group pretest-posttest design. The instrument used in this research was a speaking test in the form of a spoken descriptive text (monologue) for pretest and posttest. The population of this research was 229 of the Eighth Grade Students of SMPN 3 Tambang and the sample of this research is the students from class VIII.1 which is total number of students of class is 33 students. The data of this research were collected by giving a speaking test in the form of a spoken descriptive text (monologue) for pretest and posttest to the students in which the students chose one of the topics about descriptive text and make a description orally. The collected data were analyzed by using t-test formula in SPSS 16.0. The results of data analysis showed the mean score of pretest was 55.79, and the mean score of posttest was 67.95. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and the post-test because the t-test observed was higher than t-table. In other words, the alternative hypothesis of this research was accepted and null hypothesis was rejected. It also meant that teaching speaking by using cue cards as media was effective to improve students’ speaking ability in descriptive text for the eighth students of SMPN 3 Tambang especially students of class VIII.1.Key Words: Speaking Ability, Cue Cards, Descriptive Text

Abstract

Abstract: The application of active learning strategy bingo review to improved the students achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X SMAN 1 Kampar Timur has been done. The research was a experiment with pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of four classes grade. The sample were two classes, where class X9 as an experimental class and the class X10 as an control class, they selected after normality and homogeneity test. Experimental class applied to active learning strategy bingo review and the control class was not. Technique data analysis used the t-test and gain normalized test. Based on data analysis obtained tcount > ttable (1,81>1,66), means that application of active learning strategy bingo review improved student learning achievement on the topic of hydrocarbon in class X SMAN 1 Kampar Timur. Improved of student achievement at experiment class categored high with N-gain normalized is 0,70 and the in control class categored medium with N-gain normalized is 0,61.Key words: Active Learning Bingo review Strategy, Learning Achievement, Hydrocarbons

Abstract

Abstract: This descriptive research was conducted to find out the ability of the fourth semester students of English Study Program FKIP UR in writing a paragrafh. The sample was 60 of the fourth semester students of English study program FKIP UR which was decided by using Simple Random Sampling technique. The data were collected by giving a written test to the students. The students are expected to write a paragraph by choosing one of the given topics. The students’ score were graded by three raters and were analyzed by using Harris’ scoring system which concerned with five aspects of writing; content, form, grammar, style, and mechanics. The findings showed that there were 53 students (88%) in good level and 7 students (12%) in average level, and no student in excellent, poor and very poor level. It was also found that the students’ ability in organization aspect was the highest among the other aspects, with the average score of 69,26, while grammar aspect was the lowest one, with the average score of 63,52. Based on the result obtained, it can be inferred that the fourth semester students of English Study Program FKIP UR were able to write a paragraph and their level of ability was in good level with the average score of 67,48.This study recommended to the students to keep improving their ability and to the further study in the writing skill can focus more on how to improve students’ grammar in writing.Key words: Study, Ability, Writing, Paragraph

Abstract

Abstract : This research caused by the low ability of mathematical problems solving student in junior high school 13 Pekanbaru. Purpose of this research are 1) to determine the significance of the improvement of mathematical problems solving ability (MPSA) of grade VII SMPN 13 Pekanbaru students through contextual approach (CA) and through conventional learning (CL); and (2) to determine the difference of MPSA increase of grade VII students of SMPN 13 Pekanbaru which is learned through CA and through CL. The research method was experimental study with pretest and posttest control group design. The population of this study was all of the students from grade junior high school 13 Pekanbaru. The subject was divided into two groups, 7th-5 as experiment group and 7th-8 as control group. The research instruments was essay questions MPSA. Data are analyzed by using Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Levene test, t-test, and Mann Whitney U tes. The result showned that (1) there was significance of improvement of MPSA of students through CA, (2) there was significance of improvement of MPSA of students who learned through CL, and (3) improvement of MPSA of students who are taught through CA is higher than students who are learned through CL. The improvement of students' mathematical problem solving skills through CA is categorized high while CL is categorized medium.Key Words : Improvement of Mathematical Problems Solving Ability, Contextual Approach
