Abstract

Abstract: Background This study was caused by a teacher who did not master theother skills such as art, dance and music arts in art lessons in school culture andskills in accordance with a predetermined syllabus and the teacher does not fullyimplement the cultural art lessons and skills they know so far, especially thevisual arts. In the application of this experimental method melakuakan invitedstudents and found that students of color can be more active and creative in thelearning process. This research in the form of Classroom Action Research (CAR)with research subjects Elementary School third-grade students 145 MarpoyanPeace Pekanbaru academic year 2011/2012 conducted by 2 cycles, in each cyclewas held 2 meetings. The purpose of this research is to improve the ability ofstudents to the application of the experimental method in class III mix colors SDN145 Marpoyan Peace Pekanbaru. The results of this study showed that theaverage percentage of all teachers in the first cycle is the first meeting and thesecond meeting 60% increased by 64%, in the third meeting of the second cycle80% rise in pertemuankeempat 92%. While the percentage of students in the firstcycle of activity first meeting and the second meeting 60% up 65%, in the secondcycle is 70% and the third meeting of the fourth meeting rose 90%. While theresults of the assessment process is also seen in the first cycle there is an increasein the percentage of 40% at the first meeting and the second meeting up 46%, andthe second cycle and the third meeting 48% rise in fourth meeting 49%. While theresults of product assessment can also be seen there is an increase in the firstcycle with a percentage of 29% at the first meeting and the second meeting rose30%, and the second cycle and the third meeting 31% rise in fourth meeting 32%.This means the application of experimental methods to improve students' ability tomix colors in class III Elementary School 145 marpoyan peaceful, peacefulmarpoyan pekanbaru districts.Keywords : Methods Ekspeimen, ability to mix colors

Abstract

Abstract : This research is motivated to learn science is still low yields SDN 016 Pandan Air with an average of 59.75. Still centered learning to teachers and students received less encouragement to develop the ability to think that they have so low learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes IPA class IV SDN 016 Pandan Water in the subject matter of the earth and celestial appearance. This research was conducted by the method of action research. Subjects were class IV students of SDN 016 Pandan Water by the number of students 20 people. Instrument research include syllabi, lesson plan, student worksheets. The data analysis using descriptive analysis. Learning outcomes analyzed increase learning outcomes, student activities and teacher activity. The results showed an increase in learning from the first cycle to the second cycle. The large increase in learning outcomes of the science base score, UH1 and UH2. Basic scores are taken from the average daily test before applied science students learning model to apply the approach of Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) is 59.85. In the first cycle the average value of daily tests was 61.50, an increase of the value of learning outcomes of students studying science at the previous 2.76%. In the second cycle the average student learning outcomes IPA was 72.00 daily test the learning outcome of the first cycle to the second cycle of 17.07%. Improving student learning outcomes as a whole amounted to 19.83%. Activity increased student learning first cycle of meetings 1 with average 50.42% to 63.13%, while for the second cycle increased from the third meeting with an average of 74.17% to 83.33%. The activities of teachers of the first cycle increased from the first meeting with an average of 62.50% to 72.50%, while the second cycle increased from the third meeting with an average of 85.00% to 90.00%. For student activity based on the results of the study an increase in activity of students in the learning process, while the teacher found increased activity in terms of guiding students in the learning process has been very good and the teachers are also no longer as the central conduit of information. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of the approach of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) can improve learning outcomes IPA grade IV SDN 016 Pandan Air.Keywords : Model Approach Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), IPA Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: The background of the problem in this research was the poor students’ achievements in social sciences, it can be seen on students’ social sciences scores. There were 20 of 35 students who had not achieved the Achievement Standard (57.14%), while the ones who achieved were only15 students (42.86%), and the average scores of the class was 66.08. The Achievement Standard that school determines is 77.The method of research was classroom action research implemented in two cycles that consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected by observation technigue, test technigue. The instrument of data collection used observation sheet and test student’s result. At the first meeting in cycle I, the percentage of teachers’ activity was 75% which is categorized as good. At the second meeting, the percentage increased to 75% which is categorized as goodteachers are still not accustomed to using concept maps approach so that teachers do not experience an increase in activity on the second meeting.At the first meeting in cycle I, the percentage increased to 85% that is categorized as good. At the second meeting the percentage increased to 95% which is categorized as very good. The students’ activities had increased. At the first meeting in cycle I, the students’ activities gained 60% which is categorized as less, while at the second meeting in cycle I the students’ activities gained 65% which is categorized asenough.At the firstmeeting of cycle II, the percentage increased to 75% that is categorized as good, while at the second meeting the percentage increased to 95% which is categorized asvery good.The average of students’ achievements before the implementation Approaches to concept Mapwas 66.08 which increased to 78.40 in cycle I, and increased again to 84.23 in cycle II. The result of research showed that implementation Approaches to concept Mapcan improve student’s result of social sciences grade three at SDN37 pekanbaru.Key Words: Study Result, Approaches to concept Map,social sciences

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the research is to find out the influence of service quality to participation of Koperasi Pegawai Republik Indonesia University of Riau. This research is a quantitative research, with amount of population is 1.949 members and amount sample is 94 members. The method that used to gathering data is quisioner. Analysis data method uses descriptive analysis and multiple linier.The results showed that the quality of care consisting of realibility (X1), assurance (X2), emphaty (X3), tangible (X4), and tresponsiveness (X5), jointly have a positive influence.The results showed that service quality has a significant impact on the participation of members KPRI University of Riau, which amounted to 76%. Of the five variables that affect the participation of Members of KPRI University of Riau, the most dominant variable is a variable Empathy, has tcount (4.880)> t table (1,987) compared with the other variables, with significant requirements. Abstract

Abstract: The background of this study was a difference between expectations and reality occurred at class X SMA Negeri 15 Pekanbaru, wherein the low motivation of student learning in the classroom. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze how the effect of education and income levels of parents of student motivation at class X in SMA Negeri 15 Pekanbaru. The population of this study all student in grade X as many as 182 students.The study sample as many as 64 students were calculated using the formula Slovin. Data collection methods used were questionnaires. Method of data analysis are multiple regressions analysis. Based on the result of analysis data is concluded has effect and significant among parental education (X1) and income of parents (X2) on student motivation (Y). Based on R square table showed 0,178 it means independent variable used in this study has effect on dependent variable as many as 17,8 %. Therefore, ability independent variable for influence dependent variable is weak. This is due to many another variables which influence dependent variable. Partially, the education level of parents do not have a significant influence on student motivation with significance values of 0,587 greater than 0,05. While the parents income has a significant influence on student motivation with significance values of 0,002 less than 0,05.Key Words: Parental Education, Income of Parents, Student Motivation

Abstract

Abstract: This research is done because the average value of IPS learning result of grade 3 students of SDN 3 Teluk Rhu is low that is 70,40 lower than Minimum Exhaustiveness Criterion (KKM) determined by school for class III that is 75. Low result of student learning caused by less learning methods involving students in learning. Learning is still dominated by teachers through lecture methods. This study is a classroom action research (PTK) consisting of two cycles, carried out in even semester 2016/2017. Subjects of this study amounted to 25 people. Of the 25 students, 11 people have been completed and 14 people are still unfinished. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of IPS students of Class III SD Negeri 3 Teluk Rhu by applying STAD type cooperative learning model. STAD type cooperative learning model is a learning model that is implemented in the form of heterogeneous group work. Instrument of this research consists of learning tools and data collection instruments in the form of observation sheets and test kits. The study was conducted in March-April 2017. The data were analyzed using statistical analysis used for data analysis of teacher activity and student activity and improvement of student learning outcomes. Analysis of teacher and student activity is based on the observation scores made by the observer during the learning process with STAD type cooperative model. Analysis of student learning outcomes done after the implementation of daily test cycle I and cycle II. Based on scores of observation sheets of teacher and student activity, the following improvements are seen: teacher activity in cycle I reaches 54.17%, in cycle II increases 91.67% while student activity in cycle I is only 45.83%, in cycle II increases to 83,33%. Analysis of student learning result data showed improvement among others: learning mastery in cycle I 11 people, cycle II 25 people. after the application of cooperative learning model type STAD student learning outcomes increased from the average grade of 70.40 to 78.00. this means an increase of 10.79%. This shows that the application of STAD type cooperative learning model can improve the learning result of IPS students of Class III SD Negeri 3 Teluk Rhu.Keywords: STAD type cooperative model, IPS study results

Abstract

Abstract: Physics for high school consists of abstract subjects generally. Student still think that these abstract subjects have been being a barrier for them in studying physics. Teacher need to be more creative to deliver these abstract physics subjects into concrete subjects. The aims for this research are to develop physics media learning on concept and phenomenon of quantum using Adobe Flash CS 6 and to validate the media become a valid one. The method that has been used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) ADDIE type. The development of media learning including the searching of some problem and potentional background, literature study, product design, design validity and final product. The instrument of this research was quesioner that evaluate media learning which consist of four aspects there are development, pedagogik, content, and technic. Validation mean score for development aspect is 4,22, pedagogik aspect is 4,31, content aspect is 4,30 and technic aspect is 4,30. The result of media validation mean score is 4,28 with very high category and r value = 0,856 with validation category is very high validity. Media learning concept and phenomenon of quantum using Adobe Flash has been successfully developed and has the final result as a valid media. Abstract

Abstrack: Riau Province is a central for culture and tradition of proto malayan. This assumption is supported by the fact that there are a number of tribes “Komunitas Adat Tertinggal (KAT)”, such as suku Laut or Suku Akit is still living in Riau. This research aims to reveal the system of religion of community suku akit in the Selat baru village, subdistrict Bantan, district Bengkalis in 1995-2013.The method used in this research is descriptive method. The result of this research is revealed that the system of religion of suku Akit has embraced the religion of islam, Christians and Buddhism, However they still carry the tradition of ancestor animism. In addition The community of suku Akit is a plurality society, this is evident by celebrating religious holidays together. it is due to the reason that they came from ancestors who have the same beliefs that animism. Beside that, celebrating religious holidays together will create the harmony between community. In community suku akit, circumcised ceremony is a tradition that sould be done on adolescent 7 untill 12 years old.Keywords : Sytem Religious, Community, Suku Akit

Abstrack : The engineering femininity arises because of several reasons, one of the novels that lifted the story of the novel female perekayasan under cover! Norah Vincent's work. The problem that arises is "How Feminine Technique Main Figures in the Novel Female Undercover! Norah Vincent Works". The purpose of this document on the main character engineering describes female feminine female cover! Norah Vincent's work. The benefits of this research are divided into three theoretical, practical and educational. First Operational Definitions, Engineering feminimtas is a process or a way to manipulate someone who manipulates others by changing the appearance, how to talk, how even the attitude of women walks to become men in society and trying to make up for what He is not known by others. Secondly, the main character in the novel is the one who has always been told in a novel or person who has always been the centerpiece of the conversation. The data source of this research is the new female under cover !. These research data are evidence of feminine technique in the field of language, gesture, and supporting accessory performances by the main character of the novel. The collection of data used technique documentation techniques. Mechanical analysis using qualitative descriptive technique. Validity of data using triangulation techniques using two validators who are experts in their field. Abstract

Abstract: This research entitled “Pronunciation Errors Made by the Fourth Semester Students of English Department of Universitas Riau”. The aims of this research is to find out the characteristics of errors commonly occur in English pronunciation errors and the causes of errors made by the fourth semester students of English Department at FKIP of Universitas Riau commonly. This is a descriptive qualitative that analyzed about pronunciation errors include vowels, consonants, diphthongs, which pronounced by the fourth semester students of English Department of FKIP Universitas Riau. In conducting this research, the group of population was selected to be a participant by using purposive sampling. There were 78 population and only 39 students as the participants. The test was taken in audio recording. After analyzing the data, from the three aspects that writer analyzed it was found some data and concluded that pronunciation error were made by the fourth semester students of English department of Universitas Riau in high error. There were was error in vowel 82.05 %, consonants with 41.02 % and diphthong 38.46 %.Keywords: Pronunciation, Errors, Analysis and Students.
