Abstract

             Abstract: This classroom action research is aimed at improving learning process and improving math achievement by implementing Cooperative Learning Model with structural Think Pair Square (TPS) Aproach. The research subjects are 40 heterogeneus academic ability level students of the VIII7 class of Junior High School 25 Pekanbaru in academic year of 2016/2017. The research consested of two cycles in which each cycle consisted of four phase, i,e: namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. By the end of cycle, daily test was held. The data was collected by means of observation and daily test. The action success indicators were if there is learning process improvement and the increasing number of students passing Minimum Completeness Criteria (MCC) in daily test I and daily test II. The research shows that teachers and students participated actively in the learning process. Therefore it can be said improvement of learning process took place in every meeting. Furthermore, the number of students passing MCC on base score, daily test I (first cycle), daily test II (second cycle) were respectively 16 students (40%), 20 students (50%), and 28 students (70%). The percentage of MCC achievement also indicates the increase after the implementation, thus it can be said that the students math achievement also increase. Finally, the research also shows that cooperative learning model with structural Think Pair Square (TPS) approach can improve math achievement of VIII7 class of Junior High School 25 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Abstract: This descriptive research aims to know about the ability level of the second year students of SMK Negeri 1 Pekanbaru in comprehending texts and also to know which aspects of reading is the students’ lowest and highest score in comprehending texts. The population of this research was the second year students of SMK Negeri 1 Pekanbaru that consists of 11 classes, with total 425 students. The sample of this research was five classes, they are X1 Accounting 1, XI Administration Office 1, XI Marketing 1, XI IT 1 and XI Tourism, with total 194 students. The instrument of this research was reading comprehension test with using multiple choice type which consisted 32 questions. There were eight aspects of reading tested: finding factual information, main idea, meaning of certain words, identifying inferences, references, generic structure, social function and language feature. From the results of the test, it was concluded that the average score of students’ ability in reading was 61.09 which was categorized as “good” level. The research finding also shows that students’ lowest score among the eight aspects was in terms of identifying inferences with the average score 48.71, where the highest score was in terms of factual information with the average score 79,25.Keywords: descriptive research, texts, students’ reading ability

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the problems that have been observed before doing research can be seen that the attitude of learning is very supportive to the implementation of good teaching and learning process. The purpose of this research to find out the correlation of learning attitude and outcomes of student’s mathematics learning fifth grade in state primary school cluster IV Limapuluh District Pekanbaru City. This research using correlational method. The sampling using simple random sampling technique. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and documentations of the value of mid second semester. The analysis technique using product moment. Requirements analysis test in the form of normality and linearity test. Analysis test and requirements analysis test using SPSS 20. Results of research is conducted show that there is a correlation between learning attitude and outcomes of student’s mathematics learning fifth grade in state primary school cluster IV Limapuluh District Pekanbaru City obtained rxy of 0.321 with a low level of correlation and also the attitude of learning to give effect to the results learning that is equal to 10.3%. t test values obtained significantly by 0.528 and greater than α which is 0.05 this shows that there is a significant correlation between learning attitude and outcomes of student’s mathematics learning fifth grade in state primary school cluster IV Limapuluh District Pekanbaru City.Key words: Learning attitude, outcomes of student’s mathematics learning

Abstract

Abstract: This research was a study on the speaking ability of the second year students of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru.The aim of this research was to know about the second year students speaking ability at SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. The population of this research was the second year students of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru that divided into 9 classes, with total 297 students. The sample of this research was class X1 IPA 2, XI IPA 3, XI IPA 4, and XI IPS 2, with total 117 students.The instrument of this research was interview. In conducting this research, there were ten questions in interview which used to know the students’ speaking ability based on five aspects: pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. To get the quantitative data in this research, the three raters were involved to give the scores of students speaking ability. From the result of the oral test in five aspects of speaking ability, the writer concluded that the average score of students’ ability in speaking from the first rater was 57.74, it was categorized as mediocre level. From the second rater was 58,15, it was categorized as mediocre level. From third rater it was 58,54 it was categorized as mediocre level. From the three raters in five aspects of speaking ability, the average of speaking ability of students at the second year of SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru were 58.14, it was categorized into mediocre level. The research finding also shows that students got the highest mean score in terms comprehension and got the lowest mean score in terms of pronunciation.Keywords : descriptive research, students’ speaking ability

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the correlation of student learning outcomes in subjects with Morphology Plant Anatomy Plant Biology at the Faculty of Teacher Education Program UR. This study is a descriptive correlational study. The population in the study were all students of Biology Faculty of Teacher Education Program UR. The study sample was student class of 2010 who have completed the course Plant Anatomy and Morphology of Plants by the number of 49 students. Sampling using purposive sampling, which is based on the consideration that the selected sample had completed college courses Plant Anatomy and Morphology of Plants that can provide in formation for the purpose of research. Data collection techniques a resecondary data from documents existing value in Biology Education Program and a closed primary data through questionnaires. Secondary data analysis technique performed through Product Moment Correlation test to identify student learning outcomes through value assignment, the value of UTS, the value of UAS and the final valueis obtained. While the student perceptions questionnaire analysis techniques to the implementation of the course Plant Anatomy and Morphology of Plants analyzed descriptively percentage with reference to the perception measurement scale Likert scale. The result sof research on the subject of Plant Anatomy Plant Morphology significant at 5% level with a correlation coefficient value assignment (0.90) a strong category, the value of UTS (0.61) medium category, the value of UAS (0.81) and the strong category final value (0.85) a strong category. This means there is a positive and significant correlation between student learning outcomes in subjects with Morphology Plant Anatomy Plant Biology at the Faculty of Teacher Education Program UR.Keywords: Correlation, Learning Outcomes, PlantAnatomy, Morphology ofPlants

Abstract

Abstract, This research was conducted to determine whether there is influence of standing barbell triceps extention exercise on muscle strength of the arm and shoulder to men's volleyball team in SMAN 2 Pekanbaru, so that when serving on getting maximum results. This research is a form of research with experimental treatment to a population of men's volleyball player in SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. The data in this research is the entire population of 12 people. The instrument in this research is a expanding dynamometer test which aims to measure the strength of the arm and shoulder muscles. After that, the data is processed with statistical normality test with lillifors test at significant level 0,05????. The hypothesis is the influence of standing barbell triceps extention exercise on muscle strength of the arm and shoulder. Based on t test analysis produces Tcount is 8,14 and Ttable is 1,796, means Tcount > Ttable. Based on the analysis of statistical data, the average of Pre test is 18,00 and the average of past test is 21,83, so those data is normal. Thus, there is the influence of standing barbell triceps extention exercise on muscle strength of the arm and shoulder in serving on the men's volleyball team in SMAN 2 Pekanbaru.Keywords: standing barbell triceps extention, muscle strength of the arm and shoulder

Abstract

ABSTRAKThe mathematics result of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Pekanbaru are too low because students were subjects who geint knowledge so that they were pasive learning process. 13 out of 32 students, 40,62%, reached KKM. The purpose of this study is to Improve Student Mathematics Learning Outcomes throught implementation of direct Learning Model. The research problem is wether implementation direct of can improve mathematics out comes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Pekanbaru? Based on the research the results of the study indicated that teacher is activities increased about 15% from 77,5% in the first cycle with a good category to 92,5% in the second cycle with a very good category. Students activites also increased about 10% from 82,5% in the first cycle to 92,5% in the second cycle with a very good category. Learning outcomes of students increased 14,31 from a base score with an average 61,56 to 75,87 in UH of first cycle and increased 22,5 to 84,06 at UH of second cycle. Classical completness also increased 25% from 40,62% to 65,62% in the first cycle. Then it increased 25% to 90,62% in the second cycle. Based on thing research it can be concluded that the implementation of Direct Learning Model can improve mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Pekanbaru.Keywords : Model , Direct Learning , Math Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : The problem in this research is the low student learning outcomes. It was seen from the percentage of test scores of students who reach KKM (Complete Minimum Criteria) in class V Elementary School 005 Rantau Panjang Kiri is 44.00% of the 25 students with an average value was 68.00. The school is defined KKM 70. This research aims to improve science learning outcomes of students through learning model Problem Based on Elementary School fifth grade students Rantau Panjang 005 Left school year 2014/2015. The research was conducted in April 2015 the number of 25 students, 12 male students and 13 female students number of design research is classroom action research parameter measured is the result of the activity of the teacher and student learning activities of students. Based on the results of data analysis from the discussion of the value of the average scores of students before the application of the basic learning model based problem is 68.00, then rose to 74.40 in the first cycle and increased return on the second cycle into 81.40. So the percentage increase in base score improvement of 9.41% for the first cycle and the percentage increase in base score the second cycle to 19.70%. Mastery learning students in the first cycle showed that 80.00% reaching KKM predetermined by category classical completeness is not completed and the second cycle increased to 92.00% with the category of classical completeness completed. Results of the first cycle of observation at the first meeting showed the activity of teachers (62.50%) and at the second meeting (72.50%). In Cycle II observation of teacher activity increased in the first meeting (77.50%) and the second meeting (85.00%). For the first cycle of student activity at the first meeting (65.00%) and at the second meeting (72.50%). Student activity at the first meeting of the second cycle (80.00%) increased in the second meeting (85.00%). Based on the conclusion that the application of learning models based problems can increase student learning outcomes Class V SDN 005 Rantau Panjang Kiri acceptable. Abstract

Abstract. This study was conducted due to the low results of social studies grade IV SDN. 58 Balai Makam. Based on the observation and analysis of the teachers at the beginning of the data class IV SDN. 58 Balai Makam, note that results for students in social studies is very low. Of the 35 students who reached the KKM only as many as 15 people (42.86%), while students who have not completed the study as many as 20 people (57.14%) with an average value of 65.9. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes IPS through Application of cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together (NHT). in Class IV SDN.58 Balai Makam Mandau sub Kab. Bengkalis. Based on the results seen an increase in the average student learning outcomes, on average on a base score of 65.9 in the first cycle increased to 78.3 and the second cycle increased again to 86.5. the activities of teachers and students also increased. In the first cycle an average of 79.2% of teacher learning activities with both categories increased to 90.67% of the average activity in the second cycle teachers with very good category. The average activity of students in the first cycle was 75% in both categories, on the second cycle increased to 89.58% with the category very well. Based on analysis of these data it can be concluded that the adoption of the type NHT learning model can improve learning outcomes IPS grade IV SDN. 58 Balai Makam Mandau sub Kab. Abstract

Abstract, Based on the observation that the author did in SDN 010 Beringin Jaya Sentajo Raya Regency Kuantan Singingi, there are still many students who are learning outcomes is low. It is seen and be based on learning outcomes for students penjasorkes even semester 2016 listed in report students. Low penjasorkes student learning outcomes is probably due to the nutritional status of students, therefore the purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of nutritional status and the student learning outcomes SDN 010 Beringin Jaya. This type of research is correlational while samples were students of class V SDN 010 Beringin Jaya amounting to 22 with a total sampling technique. Data obtained from measurements of height and weight of the sample fatherly nutritional status and value of MID semester for student learning outcomes. Data analysis using product moment correlation and Liliefors test for normality. Having analyzed the data obtained rhitung 0,495 rtabel 0.433, meaning that there is a relationship of nutritional status to learning outcomes penjasorkes students at SDN 010 Beringin Jaya Sentajo Raya. In other words, the hypothesis was accepted.Keywords : Nutrition Status, Learning Outcome
