Abstract

Abstract : Based on the researcher’s observation of male students in class VII SMPN 023 Pekanbaru. Researcher discovered a weakness of volleyball under serviced. It seen when under served many balls still not over the net and the ball is not optimal, it influences phsycal fitness like arm-shoulder muscles. The purpose of this research is to see how much the correlation of arm-shoulder with ability of vollyball under service of male student in class VII SMPN 023 Pekanbaru City. Population in this research Population in this research amount 318 people, 150 male and 168 female. Based on population that is large and within the limits the researchers set the half population is used as a sample (purposive sampling). The study sample is all male students in class VII G as many as 16 people. Research instrument measure power arm muscles used two hand medicine ball put test and under serve test. Data were analyzed by product moment correlation. Based on research results, it can be concluded as follows : there is no correlation exsplosive power of arm-shoulder with ability of volleyball under service of male students in class VII SMPN 023 Pekanbaru.Key word : explosive power of arm-shoulder muscles, under service.

Abstract

ABSTRACT, Background problem in this research is not optimal yet smash results conducted badminton players Club Cupumanik. This problem is evident from observations of researchers at practice and games, it is suspected because of the explosive power arm muscles and leg muscles a player Club Cupumanik. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the corelation between explosive power arm and leg muscle with the smash ability badminton players Club Cupumanik Bhayangkara. This type of research is correlational comparing the measurement results of two different variables in order to determine the degree of correlation between these variables. As independent variables (X1) is explosive power arm muscles, (X2) of explosive power legs muscles while the dependent variable (Y) is the smash badminton. This research data obtained from the tests using two hand medicine ball put, standing broad jump test, and smash badminton test. The sample in this study is the player Club Cupumanik of 20 people (total sampling). Based on the research results can be concluded as follows: From the results obtained explosive power arm muscles had significant corelation to the smash ability badminton players Club Cupumanik Bhayangkara District of Bangko Bagan Siapi-api, characterized by the results obtained by the rhitung 0.48> 0.444 rtabel , From the results obtained explosive power leg muscle had significant corelation to the the smash ability badminton players Club Cupumanik Bhayangkara District of Bangko Bagan Siapi-api, characterized by the results obtained by the rhitung 0.51> rtabel 0.444. Thus, there is a significant corelation together between the explosive power of arm muscles and leg muscles with the Smash ability Badminton players Club players Cupumanik Bhayangkara District of Bangko Bagan Siapi-api, is characterized by the results obtained rhitung 0.73> 0.444 rtabelKeywords : Explosive Power, Arms Muscles, Legs Muscles, Smash, Badminton

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this descriptive research was to describe the students’ ability in choosing the correct prepositional phrases for adverb phrase. The population of this research was the second year students of the English Study Program of Universitas Riau as big as 86 students of 2014/2015 academic year. Due to the population is very large, which consist of 3 classes, the cluster random sampling technique is used. The whole of number of the population is about 86 students. One of the class is taken as the sample as many as 30 students. The multiple choice test is used to collect the needed data of prepositional phrases for adverb phrase. The collected data were analyzed by calculating the scores of the students in answering the test and classified them to a certain level of ability in choosing the correct prepositional phrases for adverb phrase. The research finding show that the majority of the students passed in choosing the correct prepositional phrases for adverb phrase as big as 90%. This means that the students’ were capable to comprehend the test. The suggestion is that the unsuccessful students should learn more and read about prepositional phrases for adverb phrase. In addition, the teacher should give more explanation about prepositional phrases for adverb phrase for the group of the unsuccessful students.Keywords: ability, choosing, prepositional phrase, adverb, phrase

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is still a lack of passing ability on the volleyball games male student SMP 15 Pekanbaru.It is alleged lack of hand-eye coordination and flexibility of the wrist at the time of passing on.The purpose of this research to determine the contribution of hand-eye coordination and flexibility of the wrist to the top passing ability in the game of volleyball,This research is the correlation that aims to determine the relationship between independent and dependent variables.After that, the data normality test with Liliefors test with significance level α = 0.05, and gained normality test results X1, Lomax (0.1709) <Ltabel(0,242) and X2 Lomax (0.1646) <Ltabel (0,242) test normality variable Y, Lomax (0.162) <Ltabel (0,242),in other words the normal distribution of data. Then proceed to determine r by using product moment correlation analysis, if rhitung>rtabel then there is a significant relationship,the results showed no significant correlation between hand-eye coordination and flexibility of the wrist against passing ability on volleyball. rhitung (0.54)>rtabel (0.576),thus the conclusion there is no significant correlation between hand-eye coordination and flexibility of the wrist against passing ability on the volleyball games male student SMP 15 Pekanbaru.Based on the analysis can be explained that the results of this research show that there is no positive contribution between hand-eye coordination and flexibility of the wrist against passing on.But if the terms of its contribution variables X1, X2 to Y still has a contribution of 0.49% while 29.16% are influenced by other factors.Key Words:hand-eye coordination, flexibility of the wrist, upper passing ability.

Abstract

Abstract : The socio-economic development and cooperation development alone will require the cooperative to be able to increase the role and function if it does not want to match with other businesses. Therefore, one way to be able to maintain the existence of the cooperative is to improve the performance of cooperative management. One of the factors that affect the performance of the board is the personal factor. The personal factors includes: knowledge, skills, confidence, motivation and commitment of the individual. Board was given the mandate by the members for manage the cooperative to reach the objectives it has set. They are responsible for the actions and efforts for the interests and benefits of cooperative in accordance with the decision the “Meeting Members”. With it, the cooperative board has the capacity and skills demanded adequate employment. One of the facts found in the Women's Cooperative Padang Terubuk Pekanbaru is the number of cooperative members fluctuated, the low interest of members to attend a meeting of members held each month and the annual meeting of the cooperative. In interviews for this research, many members of the cooperative who revealed that the explanation of the board members' meeting is often difficult to understand. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect on performance management skills Women's Cooperative in Padang Terubuk Pekanbaru. In a test of t is known that t (6.448)> t table (2.024) and Sig. (0,000) <0.05. it means that, work skills variables significantly influence the performance of the board. Then, on the test R squre known value of R square of 0.522. The meaning that the contribution of occupational skills influence on the performance of the board is 52.2% and 47.8% for influenced by other variables is not included in this regression model.Keywords: skill of work, Performance Management

Abstract

Abstract : One of the technological facilities that serve as “flesh” of society is a social networking site. In the daily practice, such social networking services routinely accessed by hundreds of thousands or even millions of internet users from all over the world. It is Often found that many students use social media until they forget the time. This will have an effect on the way of student learning. Therefore, the researchers feel that it needs to determine the use of social media and the way of student’s learning. The aim of this research is to know the general description of social media usege among students and to know how they learn in terms of the use of social media. The population and sample in this research are 111 students who use social media. This research uses quantitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques is using questionnaires. To analyze data using percentage technique. The results of this research is that the students in the social media access is in the low category in a range of < 2 hours. Social media that is often used by students is Facebook continued by WhatsApp, Istagram and the most frequently accessed is Facebook. Students using social media at free time, before sleep and while learning. Students who use social media are a good enough in learning. It willl be good for student,in order to maintain the use social media,to manage the time for social media and studying and be wiser in using social media and improve the way how to learn effective and efficient learning. For parents and teachers, it needs to pay more attention to the usege of social media and students learning.Keywords : Social Media, Student Learning

Abstract

AbstrakThis study aims to improve learning outcomes IPS 157 fourth grade students of SDN Pekanbaru City School Year 2012/2013 through the "Implementation cooperative learning model make a match".This research was conducted in November until November 2012 . Subjects were 157 fourth grade students of SDN Pekanbaru 41 people as the number of students, which consisted of 21 male students and 20 female students. This research is a form of action research class consisting of 2 cycles. Cycle I consists of 2 meetings and on to the second cycle consists of 2 meetings. Research data shows that the learning outcomes of students has increased, which prior to the act of cooperative learning model Make A Match of as many as 41 students only 4 students ( 9.8 % ) were scored daily tests over a minimum completeness criteria ( KKM ) is has been determined by the school is 67. While as many as 37 students ( 90.2 % ) is still below the KKM . After the act of cooperative learning model Make A Match in the first cycle average daily test cycle II are 79 and 86 with the increase of cycle I to cycle II of 8. While the average percentage of students in the classical mastery learning derived from daily tests have increased in the first cycle is 49 (category yet complete) and a 49 second cycle (categories completed). Average activity of teachers in fostering the learning process with the action on the first cycle is 67.86 % (both categories) while the second cycle is 96.43 % (category very well) and learning activities of students during the learning process takes place in the first cycle, namely 60,71 % and the second cycle on average 92.86 % .Keywords:Make a Match, The Result Of Social Studies

Abstract

Abstract : Some of the finding problems in the learning process of science at fourth grade students of SD Negeri 13 Gajah Sakti were: the low of students’ ability in learning science, some students were not active to solve the problems about learned subject by reading. This caused that most students got low score of science examination, 15 students (60%) were able to get 70 as the minimal score of science, but 10 students (40%) only got score below 70. This fact motivated the researcher to conduct the action research to increase the students’ ability in science. The action conducted into two cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings. The subject of this research was the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 13 Gajah Sakti. There were 25 students, 14 boys dan 11 girls. The score of the teacher’s activity at first cycle meeting one was 57.0 category less, increased in meeting two to be 64.3 category less. It increased to be 71.4 at the second cycle meeting one, and being 82good at meeting 2. At the first cycle, it was found that only some students learned actively, but at the secondcycle, most students were more active and giving their participation in learning process. The success of this action research can be seen from the students’ result in examination from 62.9 category less to be 88.4 category good in the second cycle. The increasing of the students’ score at first cycle was 18.8% and increase to 42.8% at second cycle.Key words : Learning model, guided inquiry, the result of science

Abstract

ABSTRACTInterrogative utterances are very important in communicating. Interrogative utterances able to convey the message the author or speaker so that the reader or listener can receive the message as intended by the writer or speaker. The problems that I researched in this study is what are interrogative sentences used in SMS? how politeness used in SMS? and how the meaning of interrogative utterances in the SMS?. This study aims to analyze and describe the types of sentences, politeness, and the meaning of interrogative utterances in SMS language students of Indonesian language and literature education class of 2010. The method used in this research is descriptive method, a method that is used to explain the data obtained in the study as they are using the techniques of data collection, record, and documentation. The application of techniques and documentation noted that the SMS is used to collect research material was then analyzed according to the research problem. The results of the study there were 71 SMS interrogative sentences with the help of question words (what, who, how, and when), 50 SMS requesting recognition of interrogative sentences answer yes or no or yes or no, interrogative sentences 3 SMS requesting an answer in the form of reasons , 8 SMS interrogative sentences in the form of an opinion, and 10 SMS that confirmed the interrogative sentence. In terms of kesantunnanya there were 10 SMS and 15 SMS manners that are not polite. In terms of narrative meaning there are 16 SMS command meaning, the meaning of the solicitation SMS 7, 5 SMS the meaning of the request, meaning persilaan 1 and 1 SMS ban meaning. The results of this study indicate that the use of interrogative utterances in SMS language students of Indonesian language and literature education FKIP Riau University class of 2010 has not polite.Keyword: Interrogative utterances, SMS language.

Abstract

Abstrack : This study aims to determine the influence of teacher pedagogic competence on student learning outcomes economic subjects class XI and XII MIA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. Population in this study were students of class XI and XII MIA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru as many as 259 students, and the sample of 67 students. Measurement of data using the question form and documentation. Analysis of data used is simple linear regression. The result of research based on simple linear regression showed teacher pedagogic competence influence to student learning result of economy in class XI and XII MIA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru,this can be seen from constant value (a) equal to 36.575 and regression coefficient value (b) equal to 0.953 with regression equation 36.575+0.953. Seen from the calculation of R2 (R Square Change) obtained the value of 0.781. Means that the contribution of teacher pedagogic competence influence on student learning outcomes of 78.1%..Key word : Teacher Pedagogic Competence, student learning outcomes
