Abstract

Abstract: The development of POE-based chemical modules on the colligative properties of the solution aims to obtain a valid chemical module based on the content feasibility, language, graphics, and presentation aspects. The research method of developing chemical module using 4-D model consists of four stages: Define (define) stage, Design stage, Development stage and Desseminate stage. However, in the implementation of research only to the stage of development. Data collection techniques using validation sheets given to two validators aim to assess the chemical modules that have been developed. The result of the research shows the acquisition of feasibility aspect of content 97.01%; 100% language feasibility aspect; aspect of 97.91% feasibility of aquality; and the feasibility aspect of 98.21% presentation. So the average validation score of all POE based chemical modules on the colligative nature of the solution is 96.7975% with very good category (very valid). Valid chemical modules are then tested to respondents. The respondents were limited to 4 chemistry teachers from SMA N 5 Pekanbaru and SMA N 8 Pekanbaru and 20 students from SMA N 5 Pekanbaru and SMA N 8 Pekanbaru. Analysis of user response data based on teachers 'sheets and learners' respective responses scored 93.667%. and 89.53%. Average overall validation scores and limited validity testing of chemical modules based on content feasibility, language, graphics, and presentation aspects and can be used in the learning process.Keywords: Chemical Module, POE (Predict, Observe, Explain), Colligative Properties ofSolutionJOM

Abstract

Abstract : Social adjustment is an important in teenage life. Especially for students who are addicted to online games. The purpose of this research is to determine the image of online game addiction and social adjustment of students in school. Addicted online game students is who she/he play online games more than two hours. The subjects of this research are students who addicted to online games as much as 12 people by using purposive sampling and this research method is a descriptive quantitative. In this study the instrument used is a questionnaire. The results of the study found that in general the students know online games from their friends, in a day of students playing online games for 3 to 4 hours, funds in playing online games as much as Rp. 10,000 to Rp. 15,000 in a day, while for the type of game played war genre. The impact students feel due to playing online games is eye irritation, numbness or tingling hands and feelings want to get angry. The social adjustment of students who are addicted to online games is less good. In the aspect of real appearance are, generally many students who violate the rules of the school such as unplug in school hours, on the adjustment aspects of the group generally students play only with certain groups such as playing with fellow game fans. In generally at aspects of social attitudes, students prefer to play online games rather than actively participate in extracurricular activities at school, and on the personal satisfaction aspect students feel less satisfied when doing something alone.Keywords: Online Game Addiction, Social Adjustment.

Abstract

Abstract: Based on field observations, it is clear that during practice and inter-school matches, it is seen from the ball blow when the top serve of the ball is often out of the field and sometimes stalls on the net or hit the net, some even do not get to the field opponent. In accordance with the background problems and problem formulation, this study aims to determine the relationship of muscle strength of the arms and shoulders and eye and hand coordination with the accuracy of service over the men's bolavoli team SMK Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru. The population in this study is the men's bolavoli team SMK Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru registered or active follow the training which amounted to 12 people. Given the total population of less than 100 people, then the entire population is sampled (total sampling) as many as 12 people. Instruments in this research are dynamometer expander, throw capture ball to wall and service accuracy. The data obtained in the analysis by using product moment correlation. Based on the results of research that has been authors described in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that the results obtained muscle strength of the arms and shoulders have no relationship with the accuracy of service on the team bolavoli son SMK Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru. From the results obtained eye and hand coordination has no relationship with the accuracy of service on the team bolavoli son SMK Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru. There is no relationship simultaneously between arm muscle strength and shoulder and eye and hand coordination on service accuracy on the men's bolavoli team SMK Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru.Keywords; Muscle Arm and Shoulder Strength, Eye and Hand Coordination, Service Accuracy

Abstract

Abstract: This research goal is to know the influence of facilities and learning motivation toward students learning achievement in social science lesson. The population is at grade 8 students of SMPN 3 XIII Koto Kampar totally 59 students. All students are taken to be research sample. Data is collected trough documentation and questionnaire technigues. Data then is analysed used multiple regression analysis. The results of the study note that the learning facilities that are owned by students are mostly still inadequate. As for the motivation to learn it turns out most of the students have motivation with the category of being. Furthemore, from the results of data analysis, the results obtained that learning facilities have a positif and significant impact on learning achievement, the same thing there is also a positive and significant influence of learning motivation on learning achievement, and together it turns out learning facilities and learning motivation also has a positive and significant influence on learning achievement with a contribution of 31,7%. Thus, it can be said that to improve learning achievement in need of the availability of learning facilities are very adequate and supported by high learning motivation.Keywords: Learning Facilities, Learning Motivation, Learning Achievement.

Abstract

Abstract : This research is titled Ability to Read Short Text and Writing short story text Review of VIII Grade Students of SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru. This study aims to describe the ability to read the text of the story of the students of class VIII SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru, to describe the different or not the ability to read the short story text of the students of grade VIII SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru among sample groups, to describe the ability to write the text of the students of class VIII SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru different or not the ability to write the text of the clever class review of students VIII 23 Pekanbaru, and describes the relationship between the ability to read short story text and write text short story reviews. The data of this research is the result of the reading ability test of short story text and writing the text of the story of the students of class VIII SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru which is spread over 8 classes with the population of 159 students and the number of samples is 115 students. Technique of collecting data that is giving test read short story text and writing text of short story. To find out whether or not the expected score and the results of the scores obtained by the students were calculated using the Wilcoxon test, to determine whether there was a difference or not in the mean between groups the sample was calculated using the Kruskall-Walis test, and to find the relationship of reading ability of short story text and writing the text of the calculated short story using correlation ladder. Based on the result of research, it is found that: (1) the ability to read the short story text of the students of grade VIII SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru is low, (2) the ability to read the short story text between the sample groups there is no difference, (3) the ability to write the text of the students of grade VIII SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru is low, (4) ability to write text of short story between different group of samples. The meaning, there are differences in the ability to write short story textbooks among fellow students of class VIII, (5) the ability to read short story text and write the text of the short story has a low opinion of the correlation coefficient correlation coefficient of 0.21-0.40.Key words: ability, reading, writing, short story text, review text

Abstract

Abstract: This research is entitled Existence of Characters in the Novel of Small Letters to God by Agnes Davonar. This study aims to describe the existence of a character in the novel Letter to God by Agnes Davonar. The data in this research are qualitative data in the novel of Small Letters for God by Agnes Davonar relating to the object of research. Techniques of collecting data by means of collecting data that is documentation of the library, that is by reading the novel Letter to God, in the documentation of the study materials read and studied carefully to obtain research data. To get the result of research, researcher do check by using triangulation technique. Based on the results of research, the results obtained that in the novel Little Book to God by Agnes Davonar there are values of existence, whether it is aesthetic existence, ethical existence, and religious existence. Aesthetic existence is the ability of a person to maintain his existence by hating something excessive, belittling the norms and lovers of the lust of the world. Ethical existence is a stage that prioritizes one's perspective on his life and usually begins to sincerely live his life over what happens by observing the norms of life. Furthermore, religious existence is the return of man to God or his beliefs each with a way of life in accordance with the teachings of God. However, only a few figures have the value of existence in him, this is because the number of occurrences of the most in the novel compared with other figures. It can be concluded that Based on the kind of existence in a person, there are some things that must be considered is how to deal with problems in life until the end point of completion and still maintain the value of existence in oneself without having to lose that existence.Keywords: Existence, character, novel, Little Letter to God

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know Student Attitudes of Outside School Education on Student Executive Body Activities (BEM) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. This research uses descriptive method with quantitative approach. The sample in this study amounted to 54 people, students of PLS force 2015 and 2016 with strata random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use SPSS program, mean and SD calculation, and inferential descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that Student Attitudes Out of School Education Activities Student Executive Board (BEM) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education University of Riau Pekanbaru, which is processed through respondents' answers from the questionnaire research. So taken the conclusion that the attitude of out-of-school education on the activities of Student Executive Board (BEM) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Universitas Riau Pekanbaru pertained good or positive with average mean 3.92. Indicators that contribute most to the Out of School Student Attitudes toward the Student Executive Body (BEM) Activities of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Riau University of Pekanbaru is affective or emotional indicator of 93.2% in either category or positive. Furthermore, demographic factors of gender and device demography also influence the attitude of out-of-school education students to the activities of Student Executive Board (BEM) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Universitas Riau Pekanbaru, which is female gender demography with mean 3,99 and male 3,66 big difference is 0.33. While the demographic device, the highest force of the force of 2015 with a mean of 3.99 and force 2016 with 3.86 big mean difference of 0.13.Keywords: Attitude, Activities of Student Executive Board.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is descriptive with quantitative approach which reflects the result of research with the numbers. The sampling technique used simple random sampling technique (random sampling). Technique of data retrieval in this research is by technique of questionnaire, which pointed 72 item statement. The data were obtained from respondents entitled 20 people for the experimental sample and 38 people for the research sample. After the questionnaire was tested, there were 4 invalid items, and the researcher pulled out all that was not, the overall instrument trusted with Alpha Cronbach = 0.99. The results of the above research, affecting the indicator it can be concluded that the indicators can be defend well. Cooperation is a collective work between individuals or groups of people to achieve one or more common goals, Competition or competition can be defined as a social process, in which individuals or groups of people compete, seek profit through the areas of life that occurred in the future certain happened. Abstract

Abstract : This study examines the ability to write explanatory text of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 20 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to describe how high the ability to write text explanation of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 20 and describe the differences in the ability to write explanatory text between groups or between classes. The number of population in this study is 140 while the number of samples in this study that is 104. Research results when tested using t test is the ability to write explanatory text equal to the value of comparison. The comparative score applied in this study was 68. Students' writing ability was the same as comparative score, which means that the ability to write explanatory text of grade VIII students was low. In other words the hypothesis is accepted. Then tested using one way anova. The result is that there is no difference in the ability of writing explanatory text of class VIII students between classes. Based on the results of research authors to note that the ability to write students are low because students do not understand the procedure of paragraph breaking is good and right. Abstract

  Abstract: This research is conducted to see any possible relation between endurance and agility with the ability to dribble the ball on the players of Chevron SSB School Football Team in Rumbai Pesisir District. The sample used in this research is a team of 20 football players of Chevron SSB School Football Team in Rumbai Pesisir District.  The sampling method of this research is total sampling using all 20 players of Chevron SSB School Football Team in Rumbai Pesisir District. The result of the first analysis shows a strong relation between the endurance (X1) of the players and their ability to dribble the ball (Y) where  is on significance level of ɑ (0.05) = (0,834) >  (0.456), which means hypothesis is accepted. Meanwhile, the calculation of the second analysis also shows a strong relation between the agility (X2)  of the players and their ability to dribble the ball (Y) where  is on significance level of ɑ (0.05) = (0,943) >  (0.456) which means hypothesis is accepted too. Lastly, on the third analysis to see the relation between endurance (X1) and  agility (X2) toward the ability to dribble the ball (Y) where  is on significance level of ɑ (0.05) = (0,938) >  (0.456), it can be concluded that endurance (X1) and agility (X2) are strongly related to the ability to dribble the ball (Y).  Keywords: Endurance, Agility, Dribble.
