Abstract: This research aims to improve learning process and increase student’s mathematical achievement through implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research with two cycle. The research was conducted in class X Social 2 MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru in the second semester of the 2017/2018 academic year. The subject of this research consist of 14 boys. The research instrument consists of learning materials and instruments for collecting data. Learning materials used in this research are the Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Activity Sheets. Instrument data collectors used in this research are observation sheet and mathematical achievement test. Data analysis techniques in this study are descriptive narrative analysis of qualitative data and descriptive statistics analysis of quantitative data. The result of this research showed that the implementation of PBL improved the student’s mathematical achievement. The percentage of students which is pass Minimum Mastery Crieria (MMC) increase from 14,28% to 35,17% at the first test and to 57,14% at the second test. This research concludes that the implementation of PBL improved the learning process and the student’s mathematical achievement at class X Social 2 MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. PBL model can be used as an alternative to learning, because through this learning can improve the learning process and mathematical achievement of the students.Key Words: Classroom Action Research, Problem Based Learning models, Learning outcomes,Learning Process,

Abstract: This study was aimed to describe the logical thinking ability of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 40 Pekanbaru by a contextual approach on sound material. The study was conducted from March to april 2018. The subject in this study was 79 students in the two classes have been tested normality and homogeneity. Pre experimental research in the form of intact group comparison was use as the research model. Logical thinking ability test consisting of 15 items of multiple choice option was use as the instrument to obtain the data. Descriptive analisis was used to analize the data and giving a description about the level of logical thinking ability. The logical thinking ability test instrument was developed based on each indicator of logical thinking ability. The data was categorized by the category of logical thinking ability with variable controlling indicators, proporsional reasoning, probabilistic reasoning, correlation reasoning and combinatorial reasoning. Based on the data analysis, the average score of students logical thinking ability in the experimental class was 74,36 which was in in logic category and 62,00 control class which was in quite logic category.Keywords: Contextual approach, Logical Thinking Ability, Logical thinking ability indicator

Abstract : This study discusses about the motivation of learning towards the second grade students of Japanese Language Education Studies Program FKIP UNRI.The purpose of the authors in conducting this research to know the great influence of learning motivation on student learning outcomes.Respondents in this study amounted to 30 students of Japanese Language Education Studies Program FKIP UNRI.This research uses descriptive quantitative method.The results of this study hypothesis test using linear regression technique obtained correlation coefficient of 0.00 and F 6.23 with p = 0.000, therefore it means p> 0.01 then it can be interpreted the hypothesis in this study accepted.From the results obtained motivation to learn is in the category enough with the value, the value of coefficient received (R2) of 3,88% indicates changes in learning outcomes are influenced between mood, the ability means that the variables and results of student learning outcomesKeywords: Motivation , Learning Result

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know whether there is any influence of Down the line drill training on the athlete's spell at bulitangkis pb bank riau kepri pekanbaru. The type of research used is experimental and using one-preetest-posttest design research group. The population in this study is athletes bulutankis pb bank raiu kepri Pekanbaru which amounted to 23 people. The sample technique used is purposive sampling. Purposive Sampling is a technique of determining the sample with certain considerations .. Thus the sample in this study amounted to 6 people sample of athletes son of badminton pb bank riau kepri pekanbaru. The instrument used is the shuttle run. After that, the data were processed by statistics, to test the normality by lilifors test at a significant level of α (0.05). The hypothesis that is proposed is the influence of down the line drill exercise against agility athlete son of badminton pb bank riau kepri pekanbaru. Based on the results of the analysis, there is average pree test 13.79 and post test 13.05 there is an average increase of 0, 74 with t test that t arithmetic = 8.488> from t table = 1.943. Means t arithmetic> t table. Thus there is influence of down the line drill training against agility in athletes son of badminton Pb Bank Riau Kepri PekanbaruKeywords : Down the line drill exercise, agility, badminton

Abstract: The progress in ancient times happened impact to various aspect of human life. Use the internet seemed to be need of society. The internet has been used by many people, one of them is student. In addition, the progress in the world of education can not be separated from technological progress that is always hand in hand. Therefore the writer interest to do a research about. The purpose of this research are to know the general idea about user of internet in SMK Labor Binaan FKIP UNRI Pekanbaru and the general idea about emphaty level of students SMK Labor Binaan FKIP UNRI Pekanbaru. This research uses descriptive methode with the technique of collecting the is questionnaire. To analyze the data use percentage formula. The subject in this research is students of class X and XI. The total participant are 110 student. The result of the research, the write found that user of internet from students SMK Labor Binaan FKIP UNRI Pekanbaru category that is equal. While the level of empathy students SMK Labor Binaan FKIP UNRI Pekanbaru his in the high category that is equal.Keyword : Empathy, Internet, Student.

Abstract: This study aims to find out the icons, indexes, and symbols found in the mantra ritual bulean in Talang Mamak community. The type of research applied is qualitative with descriptive method of semiotic approach. Technique of collecting data in this research is labeling documentation technique. The data collected is obtained from the medical treatment book of Talang Mamak community in Indragiri Hulu Regency. The data have been analyzed using Charles Morris theory with several stage: data presentation, data discussion, data analysis and conclusion drawing. Viewed from the semiotic side, the writer get the icon, index, and symbol in spell of ritual bulean in society Talang Mamak found one hundred fifty five data. Icon data found as many as fifty two data. Index data found as many as thirty-one data. The symbol was found for seventy-two data.Keywords: Bulean rituals, spells, semiotics.

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of E-Filling System Implementation on Compulsory Compliance on KPP Pratama Pekanbaru Tampan. The population of this research is Individual Taxpayer registered as Taxpayer in KPP Pratama Pekanbaru Tampan. The samples used in this study were 100 respondents. The questionnaire has been tested for its validity before the study. The classical assumption test used is the normality test. Hypothesis test used is simple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence implementation of E-Filling System to Taxpayer Compliance in Pratama Pekanbaru Tampan. This is proven through simple linear regression analysis obtained Adjusted R Square value of 0.325, which can be interpreted that the influence of E-Filling System Application to Taxpayer Compliance is 32.5%. The result of the statistical t test yields a significance value smaller than significant 0.000 <0,05. The value of regression coefficient X 0,379 with the number of kostanta 32,436. The equation of the regression line is Y = 32.436 + 0.379X. This means the higher the Implementation of E-Filling System, the higher the Taxpayer Compliance will be.Keywords: E-Filling, Taxpayer Compliance.

Abstract: The background of research is sadly the world of education as a result of uncontrolled emotions student so with unimportant things students has done a commendable behavior. The purpose of this research is to know the level of emotional intelligence of students in school. Furthermore to know the difference in students emotional intelligence at school before and after the dhuha prayer direction. So from the difference, can know the impact of dhuha prayer direction to students' emotional intelligence in school. This research method uses Experimental Research is Pre-Experimental Designs with The One Group Pretest-Posttest. The subject of this research is 11 students selected through the pretest. Data processing has been done can be concluded is The students emotional intelligence before the direction of dhuha prayer was eleven students in the medium category. Then after given the direction of praying dhuha there are two students in the medium category, and nine students in the high category. After being given the direction to Dhuha prayer there are differences in emotional intelligence of students. The direction of praying dhuha provides a significant positive effect on students' emotional intelligence.Key Words: Emotional Intelligence, Direction of Dhuha Prayer

Abstract: This research is classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and to increase mathematics achievement with applied the learning model of Problem Based Learning. The subject of this research is student of class VII8 SMPN 14 Pekanbaru in academic years 2017/2018, which amounted to 35 students, consist of 17 boys and 18 girls. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instrument of data collection in this research consist of observation sheet and assessment sheet. Data collection techniques in this study consisted of observation techniques and test results of mathematics learning techniques. The analysis technique used is descriptive descriptive data analysis technique and descriptive statistical data analysis. Data obtained from the observation sheet is qualitative data and analyzed by descriptive quantitative analysis technique. Data obtained from the learning result test were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis technique. The result of data analysis show teacher’s and student’s activity have been done very well in cycle II and weakness/deficiency that happened less from cycle I to cycle II. Implementation of PBL model enables students to observe and understand problems and can collect information related to problems given by teachers. The students 'mathematics learning outcomes also increased in UH I and UH II seen from the achievement of students' knowledge and skills and frequency distribution analysis. The results of this analysis indicate that the application of PBL model can improve the learning process and improve students' mathematics learning outcomes of students of grade VII8 SMPN 14 Pekanbaru in 2017/2018 academic year at Aritmetika Sosial form material.Key Words : Mathematics Achievement, Problem Based Learning, Class Action Research

Abstract: This study aims to description the results of empirical analysis of interactive multimedia newton’s law of motion material as a media of physics learning in the first year of senior high school consisting of empirical validity and reliability. This is survey type. The subjects of this study are the first year students of SMAN 2 Rambah Hilir consisting of 15 male students and 15 female students. The data was collected by scoring of multimedia score given to the respondent through questionnaire, then the data is analyzed by validity test applying product moment correlation technique and reliability test applying cronbach's alpha technique. Based on the data analysis, the validity of the scores of all respondents to the interactive multimedia is greater than the rkritis and reliability score assessment of all respondents to the interactive multimedia has a value of cronbach's alpha greater than 0.7. Based on the results that the interactive multimedia of newton's law of motion material is stated valid and reliable, so interactive multimedia can be used as a media of physics learning in the first year of senior high school.Keywords: Empirical Analysis, Interactive Multimedia, Newton’s Law of Motion Material
