Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study discusses pronouns Riau dialect of Malay persona Ranai, namely the shape and use of pronomin Riau dialect of Malay persona Ranai. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method that aims to describe the shape and use of pronouns Riau dialect of Malay persona Ranai. Subjects of this study 10 men, 4 women and 6 men. This study uses data types of oral and written. Data sourced from oral language users Ranai Malay dialect and writing of data derived from folklore who are in Natuna regency Ranai City. Data obtained from engineering records and record then classified based on shape and using it, and formulated into a knot. Based on data analysis and the use of pronouns form persona Riau Malay Dialect Ranai. Forms of pronouns Riau dialect of Malay persona Ranai consists of singular and plural and inclusive, exclusive and neutral. The use of pronouns Riau dialect of Malay persona Ranai based on three parameters: age, social status and familiarity.Keywords: pronouns persona, designanduse

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to determine the quality of scientific literacy competency test on biology knowledge instrument. This research is a development research using ADDIE model with stages which are analyzed, design, and development. During the process, this research is divided into two stages, namely research and development. The research phase includes needs analysis, design, and instrument development. The development stage includes validation to obtain validity by validator, first trial, and second trial. The subjects in this study is the questions of scientific literacy that has been tested in PISA 2006. Instruments used to collect data are validation sheet and scientific literacy competence test questions that have been designed. Validation is done to see the validity of competence test instrument of scientific literacy that is developed, while the test result aims to know the quality of the realibility, difficulty level, distinguishing power, and distractor function. The result of the research shows that the scientific literacy competency test on biology knowledge designed has already qualified with valid category. This instrument then can be used as a training material for senior high school students, especially in Riau Province, to improve their scientific literacy skills.Key Words: Design, instrument, scientific literacy

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this study is 1) To describe the career planning student of before the implementation of information service, 2) To describe the career planning student of after the implementation of information service, 3) To determine difference between the career planning student before and after the implementation of the information service, 4) To determine the effect of the information service to the career planning student. The menthod used was experimental quasi with One group pattern: One group pre-test and post test design. The tool used in collecting the data was a questionnaire. The samples were taken using simple random sampling technique which amoun to 65 people. The data is analyzed using a percentage formula; the ‘’t’’ test was used to distinguish the career planning student before and after the implementation of the information service. From the calculation of the ‘’t’’ test, it was obtained that the thitung greater than ttabel with (-18,16>1,960) at the level error of 5%. Which means that in this study, there difference between the career planning student before and after the application of information service. From the calculation of the product moment correlation, it is found that r = 0,74 is the determinant coefficient of r2 = 0,54. This, it can be seen that the effect of information service on the career planning student is 54%. Based on the result of this research, it can be that the improvement career planning student after being given the information service.Keyword: Career planning, Information service

Abstract

Abstract: Yohanas Oemar is a Struggling Learner in Developing Education. In order to fulfill his desire to deepen his knowledge, he willingly tried to persevere and to get what he wanted, as long as the status of students at the University of Riau, he also active in various Campus Organizations, as a student at the Faculty of University of Riau he followed the entrance to the University Student Regiment Riau and became a Member of the Student Regiment. From Member of Student Regiment he got the Opportunity to join Candidate School in Bandung Pangalengan, Yohanas Oemar Graduated School of Candidate with the rank of Second Sergeant, He also get the Opportunity to Contribute to Middle East Peace Sinai joined in Garuda Indonesia Ind Bat Force under UN auspices . And He is in Nobat As Veteran of Peace. This study aims to find out the biography of Yohanas Oemar, Sgt Sergeant's Contribution Two Garuda VIII Contingent as UN Peacekeepers in the Middle East, knowing the end of Yohanas Oemar's Struggle. The method used is the Method of History, namely by using Interview Techniques, Techniques Library Studies, and Documentation. The result of this research is that Yohanas Oemar was born in Strait of Panjang Meranti on 07 Mai 1956 and died on June 25, 2017 is buried in Kahluma Dharma Pahlawan Pekanbaru. During his lifetime he spent his time developing education, the initial struggle of the status of a student into the command of the Riau University Student Regiment running Education Becomes TNI, besides he is also active in various social activities, and he also works in various fields, the board of Black Belt Board Karate Do Tako Riau , Chairman of the Organization for the Riau Forki, and Chairman of the Division of DPD Alumni Menwa Indonesia Riau. besides that he is also an Active Lecturer at the University of Riau.Keywords: Yohanas Oemar, Kontingen Garuda VIII, Timur Tengah

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to improve the learning process and improve learning outcomes of the seventh grademathematics studentsof SMPN 11 Pinggir by implementing cooperative learning Numbered Heads Together (NHT) model. The subjects were students of seventh grade whom have heterogeneous academic ability. This research is a class act with two cycles. Each cycle has four stages, the stages are planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of the study show the observation sheet activities of teachers and students have done after the action. The improvements in the learning process of the students and an increasing number of students who achieve at UH KKM in the end of each cycle compared to the number of students who achieve a score of KKM on basic score. The results of this study indicate that the application of cooperative learning Numbered Heads Together (NHT) model can improve the process of learning and improve the learning outcomes of the seventh grademathematics studentsof SMPN 11 Pinggir of the semester of academic year 2013/2014.Keywords: Mathematics Learning Outcomes, Cooperative Learning, Numbered Head Together (NHT), Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this study is that the reactions agility is still lacking, it is seen from various tests and official matches and this is one of the factors causing defeat. This type of research is a type of experimental research to see the effects of this form of exercise. The purpose of this research is to see the effect of agility reacting exercise on agility steeping kumite pre starter of dojo Perawang pad. Population in this research is athletes Pre Pemula Putra Dojo Padepokan Perawang which amounted to 8 people. The sampling technique is by using total sampling, in which the total population is sampled. Technique of taking data obtained from pre-test and posttest. Instrument in this research using Test of Agility Reaction as tool to measure steeping agility skill. The analysis was performed using t-test. Based on the analysis and discussion of data, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of reactor agility exercises on agility steeping kumite pre beginner children dojo Perawang as evidenced by Thitung of 7406 and Ttabel 1.860. Means Thitung> Table. At ɑ = 0.05 level.Keywords: Agility exercises reaction, agility steeping

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine which parenting pattern is most dominantly applied by parents whose children attend school at SDN 001 Sawah Baru Kampa Subdistrict Kampar District. The formulation of the problem of this research is the most dominant parenting pattern applied by parents whose children go to school at SDN 001 Sawah Baru Kampa Kampar District. The population in this study were 55 people. So the researcher use saturated samples so that all the population sampled that is as many as 55 people, and 20 people for sample test questionnaire at SDN 002 Rambai Island Kampa District Kampar District. The type of this research is descriptive with quantitative approach. The data collection instrument is a questionnaire with 45 statements and after the trial there are 40 valid statements to be used as research instruments. Data analysis through quantitative descriptive analysis. The findings of this study indicate that the pattern of parents' care that their children go to SDN 001 Sawah Baru Kampa Kampar District is the most dominant of democratic parenting with a percentage of 70.8%. Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of research are to know the improvement of student learning achievement and value of influence by implementing Peer Led Guided Inquiry (PLGI) learning model on the buffers subject in the class XI MIA SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. This research is experimental research using Design Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest. The research sample consisted two class, class XI MIA 2 as experiment class and class XI MIA 3 as control class that has tested by normality test using Liliefors test and homogeneity test using equality of two average test. Hypothesis was done by using test-t right side. Research result shown that the implementation of PLGI learning model can improve student learning achievement on the buffers subject where tarithmetic = 3,33 > ttable = 1,67 with value of its influence to student learning achievement is 16,53%.Keywords : Learning Model Peer Led Guided Inquiry (PLGI), Learning Achievement, Buffers

Abstract

Abstract: This research was designed to experiment the effect of using PQ4R method on the ability of the first year students of SMK Pesantren Darel Hikmah Pekanbaru in comprehending recount texts. The aim was to find out the effect of using PQ4R method on the ability of the first year students of SMK Pesantren Darel Hikmah Pekanbaru in comprehending recount texts. This research took place in SMK Pesantren Darel Hikmah Pekanbaru, that collected from April to May 2018. The try out class was X TI class (17 students) and the sample was X Perbankan Syari’ah (25 students) chosen by cluster random sampling. This is a pre-experimental research with one group pre-test, post-test design. This research used quantitative data and the instrument used to collect the data was a reading test in multiple choice forms. As the result, the mean score of pre-test is 48.28 and the mean score of post-test is 56.20. In other words, the mean score of post-test is higher than the mean score of pre-test. The result also showed that the value of t-test (2.283) is higher than t-table (2.064) at the significance level 5%. It means that Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and Null Hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. It means that, there is any effect of using PQ4R method on the ability of the first year students of SMK Pesantren Darel Hikmah Pekanbaru in comprehending recount texts. It is suggested that in understanding recount text is one of alternative , the teacher needs to focus on the students’ understanding the sentences on the texts.Keywords: Comprehension, PQ4R Method, Recount Text.

Abstract

Abstract : This research is aimed at finding out the effect of Picture Word Inductive Model (PWIM) on vocabulary learning achievement of the first year students of MTs Al Fajar Pekanbaru in academic year 2017/2018. The data were collected on April. The population of this research is the first year students of MTs Al Fajar Pekanbaru. The number of sample is 34 students selected by using cluster random sampling technique. This research is a pre experimental research with one group pre-test post-test design. The instruments to collect the data were multiple choice test with 25 questions and matching word test with 10 questions. The result of the data analysis showed that the mean score of pre-test is 58.65 while in post-test is 76.22. It showed us that the mean score of post-test was higher than pre-test. Hence, there is a significant effect of Picture Word Inductive Model (PWIM) on students' vocabulary learning achievement. In other words, the alternative hypothesis of this research, “There is any significant effect of Picture Word Inductive Model (PWIM) on the vocabulary learning achievement of the first year students of MTs Al Fajar Pekanbaru'' is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected. It can be inferred that teaching vocabulary by using Picture Word Inductive Model (PWIM) as one of the alternative strategies has an effect on the students’ vocabulary learning achievement.Keywords: PWIM, Vocabulary, Learning Achievement.
