Abstract

Abstrack: This study seeks to explore the form of code mixing and lexical categories which are often exploited in the entertainment corners of local newspapers in Pekanbaru. It was conducted from January 2018 to July 2018. Qualitative reasearch and descriptive analysis method were applied in this study. The finding discovers that the forms of code mixing which had been observed in the entertainment corner are the insertion of words and hybrid. It also finds out that mostly 54.84% of English lexical categories have been code mixed into the entertainment corner of local newspapers in Pekanbaru were nouns. Therefore, the researcher confirms that there are some code mixing used by journalist into the entertainment corner of local newspaper in Pekanbaru.Keywords: Analysis, Code-Mixing, Entertainment Corner, Local Newspaper

Abstract

Abstract : This is a classroom action research. This research is an attempt to improve student learning activities in chemistry and independence on class XI MIA 2 SMA Islam As-Shofa Pekanbaru by using learning model auditory intellectually repetition. Student learning activity which is repaired the activity of listening to teacher’s explanation, propose the question, submit answers or opinions, group discussion, and do a task the teacher gives. Student learning independence which is repaired to read the source of the literature independently, dare to express opinions, do their own evaluation and be unyielding in completing the evaluation. This research consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings that went through four stages of implementation: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The collecting data used observation and test. The analysis data was describ with descriptively by using percentage technique. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded the using of learning model auditory intellectually repetition can improve the activity and independence of student learning. It can be seen by the improvement of student’s learning activity from 52,5% at the first cycle to 70% at the second cycle, and learning independences from 51,25% at the first cycle to 64,87% at the second cycle.Keyword : Learning model auditory intellectually repetition, activities, learning independence

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to improve the learning process and improve mathematics learning outcomes in fourth grade students of SD Negeri 12 Tenganau by implementing STAD cooperative learning model. The subjects were 26 students consisting of 12 male and 16 female who have the heterogeneous academic asbility. This research is a class act with two cycles. Each cycle consisted of three meetings and one at each end of the cycle UH and it has four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation with reflection. The results based on the sheet observations of teachers and students activity have done well after the action. An increase in the number of students who achieved the KKM in UH in the end of each cycle compare to the number of students who achieve a score of KKM on basic score. The results of this study indicate that the application of STAD cooperative learning model can improve the process of learning mathematics and improve learning outcomes in fourth grade students of SD Negeri 12 Tenganau in the odd semester in academic year 2013/2014.Key words: learning process, learning outcomes Mathematics, Cooperative Learning, STAD, classroom action research.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the most dominant parenting pattern applied by the family of farm laborers to their adolescent children in Muara Mulia Village, Tanah Java Sub-district, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra. The benefit of this research is to give thought contribution to the family who work as parent farm laborers who work as farm laborers in applying parenting to take care of their children to become the generation that boast of nation, homeland, family and society. This study is also useful as a comparison material for other researchers who will conduct research in the same field. This research is descriptive with quantitative approach. The sampling technique used in this study is Proportional Stratified Random Sampling because this study has a stratified population in proportion to the theoretical basis according to Sugiyono. Instrument in this research is by questionnaire which amounts to 60 items statement about the pattern of foster farming family's families to their adolescent children in Muara Mulia Village, Tanah Jawa Sub-district, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra, with indicators of democratic parenting, authoritarian parenting and permissive parenting. The result of data analysis shows that permissive parenting pattern is more dominantly applied by farmer's family to their adolescent children in Muara Mulia Sub-district, Tanah Jawa Sub-district, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatera. It is seen from the mean and SD which are high, that is mean 3.77 and SD 0,57 compared to democratic parenting and authoritarian parenting.Key Words: Parenting, Farm workers, Muara Mulia Districts

Abstract

Abstrak: The objective of this research is to analyze the endurance the male Junior Kumite athletes from INKAI Navy Kids Tanjungpinang. The goal of this research is to prepare them to be better in the match and maintain their endurance so that they may be able to fight their rival and accomplished the higher rank of achievement. This research is applying qualitative method with experimenting the samples; by the population of the sample is the male Junior Kumite athletes from INKAI Navy Kids Tanjungpinang. The data which applied in this research is the whole population of the sample; there are 6 athletes in total. The instrument which applied in this research is bleep test in order to convert the endurance. Then the data are analyzed by statistic, to examine the normal level by applying the liliefors to significant level α 0,05. The hypothesis from the writer in this research is the influence of the interval training toward the endurance of the athletes. Based on the analysis of T-experiment, the summary of the research is 6,15 T-convert and 2,015 T-table. The writer concludes that T-convert > T-table. Based on the analysis to the statistic data, the average (mean) of pre-test is 34,25 and post-test is 36,77. The writer concludes that the data are normally distributed. Therefore, this research shows the influence of the interval training toward the endurance of male Junior Kumite athletes from INKAI Navy Kids Tanjungpinang. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to development of interactive multimedia in natural science subject junior high school grade VII SMP 2013/2014. Interactive Multimedia developed using Macromedia Flash 8 software. The research was conducted in Biology Education Program FKIP University of Riau in January-June 2014. The research uses Research and Development (R & D) approaches ADDIE model and carried out until implementation phase. The subjects were Core Competence and Basic Competence of junior high school grade VII. Data collecting instruments used validation sheet and questionnaire. Data were collected by filling validation sheet by validator validator distinguished into internal and external validators. Questionnaires filled out by members of the biology teacher MGMP Pekanbaru City totaling 20 people. Validation sheet and a questionnaire filled out for each aspects: design, pedagogical aspects, aspects of the content, and programming aspects. The collected data was analyzed by descriptive statistics. The results validate the development of multimedia interactive learning is 4.43 to 4.59 (very valid). Acquisition average scores on each of these aspects, namely: designing aspect has an average score of 4.43 (very valid), pedagogic aspect has an average score of 4.55 (very valid), the content aspect has an average score of 4.59 (very valid) , aspects of programming has an average score of 4.50 (very valid). The results of the analysis of teachers' responses to the questionnaire interactive learning multimedia that has been developed gained an average of 4.67 (Good) Based on this, it can be conclution that the development of interactive multimedia in natural science subject junior high school grade VII SMP 2013/2014can be used and implemented with very valid validity criterion.Key words: research & development, interactive multimedia, natural science subject junior high school

Abstract

Abstract: This quasi experiment research aims to describe the influence of the application of learning circuit learning model to the learning outcomes of IPS students of class III SDN 56 Pekanbaru. The design of this study using nonequivalent control group design. Subjects in this study were grade IIIB SDN 56 Pekanbaru as a control class and students of class IIIA SDN 56 Pekanbaru as experimental class. The data collected is the result of IPS learning. The data collected were analyzed by using T test. From the analyzed data obtained t arithmetic = 0.734 and t table = 2.020. Based on the results of this study can be concluded that there is no influence of the application of learning circuit learning model to the results of learning IPS students class III SDN 56 Pekanbaru.Keyword : Circuit learning model, result of learning social science

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research was the concern of noble values of the nation’s personality that begin to be abandoned by the next generation. The inappropriate attitudes with norms’ life as the result of rapid technological development caused globalization then it is needed the education that can configure the character and attitude to build children of nations’ character more conceive and love their homeland. The formulation of this research was the effect of civic education learning toward students’ nationalism attitude. The number of population this research was 190 students at Eighth Grade of Junior High School 5 Tualang in Kabupaten Siak by using Proportional random sampling the researcher took 98 students as the sample of this research. The technique collecting data used by the researcher were observation, questionnaire, interview, and documentation. To analyze the data the researcher use Simple Linear Regression analysis. Based on the data analysis the researcher conclude that there is significant effect of civic education learning process toward nationalism attitude of Eighth Grade students at Junior High School 5 Tualang in Kabupaten Siak. it was considered from F calculated =19.026 and Ftable=3.94 obtained from distribution list of Fcalculatedwith N= 98 with significant level 5% thus Fcalculated>Ftable (19.026> 3.94 ) in other words, H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. From the research finding, it showed that there is significant effect of Civic Education learning toward nationalism attitude at Eighth Grade students of Junior High School 5 Tualang in Kabupaten Siak.Keywords: Civic Education learning, Nationalism attitude

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research is about the use of [kamoshiremasen] [darou] and [tabun] as epistemic modality. The data this research a gathere by means of questionarys which distributed to third the student of japanese education, education faculty Riau University. This research applaid is descriftiv methode and the main teorys are modality and error analisis.The result of this study indicates that [kamoshiremasen] [darou] and [tabun] are modality that a count for possibility based on logical conclusion from rational theorem. Abstract

Abstract : This study in the background by the rolling of reform era that was inflated by the students brought many changes in all fields in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. There are positive changes that are certainly beneficial to the community, and also there are negative changes that affect the territorial integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. The most obvious negative impact is the waning spirit of nationalism and love of the state. The decline of nationalism is also felt among educational circles of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) students, therefore the writer wanted to see how the of nationalism attitude of students of Pancasila and Citizenship Education Program (FKIP) of Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) University of Riau. The purpose of this study was to find out how of nationalism attitude of students of Pancasila and Citizenship Education Program (PPKn) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) University of Riau. Population in this research is all student of Education Program Pancasila and Citizenship (PPKn) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) University of Riau amounted to 306 people and sample in this research amounted to 76 student. The instruments of data collection are questionnaire, observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis with qualitative descriptive. From the calculation of the percentage of respondents as a whole obtained the answer "Yes" to the indicator of love of the country of 83.54%, while the indicator valued the services of the hero of 72.69%, while on the indicator willing to sacrifice for the benefit of the nation and state of 80, 26%, while the indicator prioritizes unity and unity of 61.84%, then on the indicator spirited reformer and do not know surrender of 79.93%, and lastly on the indicator of human tolerance of 95.25%.Keywords: Analysis, Attitudes of Nationalism
