Abstract

Abstract: based on the author's observations and also information from the coaches, that the player Ososber FC which follow the practice does not yet have a good dribble ability, whether exercise or in the match. This is clearly visible at the time of exercise they did dribble too the eyes focus on the obstacles, so the ball is difficult to control and easy to lose the ball, and then the ball too far away from the legs, seen that coordination is one of the the cause of the low heel. The goal in this is to research the information relationship between speed and the coordination of the eyes and feet with the ability to dribble the ball players in the study Population Ososber FC seluru FC Ososber players who follow the exercises amounted to 17 people. The sample in this study less than a hundred then samples taken (total sampling) or sampling technique in full Ososber FC players that add up to 17 people. Instruments in this research in the form of tests including speed tests by using the test run 30 meters, test the coordination of eye and foot danTes dribble by dribble. Based on the results of research that has been the author of the previous chapters describe, then it can be taken to the following conclusion: there is a relationship between the speed with the ability to dribble the ball, where significant extent on α rtab (0.05) = 0.497 means rhitung (0.736) > rtab (0.497). Then there is the relationship between the coordination of the eyes and feet with the ability to dribble the ball, where significant extent on α rtab (0.05) = 0.497, meaning rhitung (0.553) > rtab (0.497) and there is a relationship together between the speed and coordination of the eyes and walk with the ability to dribble the ball player Ososber FC, where significant extent on α rtab (0.05) = 0.497, meaning Rhitung (0.753) > rtab (0.497).Key Words: Speed, coordination of the eyes and feet, Dribble the ball Ability

Abstract

Abstract: This research was a classroom action research that aimed to improve learning process and increase student mathematics achievement with applied the learning model of Discovery Learning. The subject of this research was students of class VIIIB SMPN 1 Kampar Utara in odd semester in academic year 2018/2019, around 16 students, consisted of six boys and 10 girls. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle had four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed by narrative descriptive analysis technique, while the students’ mathematic tests result was analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis technique. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process before the action on the first cycle to second cycle. Most of the students were very enthusiastic and seemed to be confidence and active in learning process. The results of this study indicated the number of students who reached Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score (37,5 %) to UH-I (56,25 %) up to UH-II (68,75%) and on competency skill increase from UH I (31,25%) to UH II (56,25%) thus it could be concluded that the implementation of Discovery Learning model can improve the learning process and increase mathematics achievement of the students at class VIIIB SMPN 1 Kampar Utara in odd semester in academic year 2018/2019 for the main material of Relasi dan Fungsi.Key Words: Students’ Mathematic Achievement, Discovery Learning, Class Action Research

Abstract

Abstract: This article discusses synesthesia on facebook. The purpose of this study is to describe the pattern of synesthesia, describing the change in meaning and describing the function of synesthesia. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with documentation method. Sources of data come from the status of Facebook user accounts taken from June to September with a total of 102 data. Based on the research, synesthesia of the sensory absorption patterns found on facebook includes cool, soft, rough, sharp, sweet, bitter, smooth, high, dim, low, flat, sour and tasty. And there are 8 patterns in the five senses found on facebook found, namely: (1) taste senses to the auditory senses as much as 36 data, (2) sensory taste to the auditory sense as much as 12 data, (3) sense of smell to the auditory sense as much as 1 data , (4) senses of taste to the visual sense as many as 42 data, (5) sense of taste to the sense of sight as much as 5 data, (6) sense of sight to the auditory sense as much as 4 data, (7) sense of taste to sense of smell as much as 1 data, and (8) taste senses to the sense of smell as much as 1 data. From the eight sensory patterns found on facebook, it turns out that the data patterned senses tasting into the senses are the most common among the other sensory patterns, as many as 42 data. This exchange between sensory responses to one another turns out to be strongly influenced by the context of the sentence. Likewise with changes in meaning, and the function of synesthesia is strongly influenced by the context of the sentence.Keywords: synesthesia, and, facebook

Abstract

Abstract: The inability of students to answer questions both exercise and test shows that there is still a lack of understanding of the learning material given by the teacher. This research aims to improve the learning process and the student’s mathematical understanding skill by discovery learning model. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The subjects of this research were students of class VIII-1 SMP Negeri 20 Pekanbaru. This study was conducted in the first semester of academic year 2018/2019. The research instruments used are mathematical learning instruments (Syllabus, Lesson Plans, and Student Worksheet) and instruments for collecting data (Observation Sheets and Mathematical-Understanding Tests). The observation sheets were used to find out the data of students and teacher activity during learning process which would analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Mathematical understanding test were used to collect the student’s mathematical understanding skill outcomes which would analyzed quantitatively. The results of learning process had happened improvement from implementation on cycle I to cycle II. Average score for implementation of teacher’s activities for cycle I is 94.61 improved to 100 in cycle II. Average score for implementation of student’s activities for cycle I is 90.67 improved to 100 in cycle II. Result of the test indicates that the student’s learning achievement for the first is 43.33 improved in cycle I to 64.38 and improved to 81.88 in cycle II. Based on the result above, it can be concluded that the implementation of discovery learning model approach can improve the learning process and the student’s mathematical understanding skill outcomes at class VIII-1 SMP Negeri 20 Pekanbaru.Key Words: mathematical understanding skill, discovery learning, classroom action research

Abstract

Abstract: The aims of this research are to develop English learning documents (lesson plan and students’ worksheet) using task-based learning as one of learning models suggested in the 2013 Curriculum and to find out the validity level of developing English learning documents using task-based learning in teaching recount texts for the first year students of SMA. The research design is Research & Development (R&D) applied 4D model by Thiagarajan (1974). To develop English learning documents, there were three stages involve in this research, (a) define stage which is done to set and define the product development requirements, (b) design stage which is done to plan the draft of learning documents and arranged it into the format and (c) develop stage which is done to modify and validate the learning documents. In order to find out the validity level of developing English learning documents, the data were collected using validation sheet of lesson plan and validation sheet of students’ worksheet validated by experts. Based on data analysis result, the validation score of lesson plan is 94,50% and the validation score of students’ worksheet is 95,19%. The result showed that the learning documents in the form of lesson plan and students’ worksheet were very valid and can be implemented in a classroom.Key Words: Research and Development (R&D), Lesson plan (LP), Students’ Worksheet (SW),Task-based learning, Recount Text.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to know the effect of learning achievement of craft and entrepreneurship subjects on the interest in entrepreneurship. The Population in this study are the students of SMK Negeri 3 Pekanbaru with a total of 148 students and sample 109 people that was abtained using simple random sampling technique. Data collection technique using the questionnaires and documentation. Data was analyzed by simple linear reqresion technique support by SPSS version 21.The result showed that the learning achivements of craft and enterepreneurship subject. The results of the research showes that learning achievements of craft and entreprepreneurship subject has a significant positive effect on the intetrest in entrepreneurship of students this is evidenced from the learning achievements of craft and entrepreneurship subject, were categorized ‘good’ with 47 students (43%), were categorized ‘moderate’with 53 students (49%). While the total of its contribution is 83,9%. It was expected that. The remaining was influenced by other factors, like another subject except the craft and entrepreneurship subject.Key Words: Achievement, Subjects Craft, Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship Interest

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve learning process and increase student’s mathematical achievement through implementation of Discovery Learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research with two cycle. The research was conducted in class XI science 2 SMA Negeri 1 Tempuling in the first semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The subject of this research consist of 27 students, there are 13 female students and 14 male students. The research instrument consists of learning materials and instruments for collecting data. Learning materials used in this research are the Syllabus, Lesson Plan and student worksheets. Instrument data collectors used in this research are observation sheet and mathematical achievement test. Data analysis techniques in this study are descriptive narrative analysis of qualitative data and descriptive statistics analysis ofquantitative data. The percentage of students which ispass Minimum Mastery Crieria (MMC) increase from 44,4% to 55,6% at the first test and to 77,8% at the second test. This research concludes that the implementation of Discovery Learning model improved the learning process and the student’s mathematical achievement at class class XI science 2 SMA Negeri 1 Tempuling in the first semester of the 2018/2019 academic year.Key Words : Mathematics Learning Achievement, Discovery Learning Model, Classroom Action Research

Abstract

Abstract : Based on observations made by the reseacher in the field, and also based on information from the trainers (teachers) and athletes, that men's volleyball sports at SMA Negeri 2 Kuok have not been able to show maximum achievement. One of the causes of this is a smash, such as a ball stuck on the net, a ball can be returned or blocked by an opponent, the ball is not on target or the ball is out of the playing field. The purpose of this research was to prove the correlation between leg muscle strength and the flexibility of the back muscles with the smash results in male volleyball athletes at SMA 2 Kuok. The population in this research were all male volleyball athletes from SMA 2 Kuok who participated in volleyball exercises totaling 12. The sampling used total sampling so that the sample in this research was 12 people. The instruments in this research were leg dynamometer, sit and reach and volleyball smash results. The data obtained are analyzed using product moment correlation. Based on the results of the research that the researcher has described in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that the results obtained from leg muscle strength have no correlation with the results of Smash in volleyball athletes. From the results obtained the flexibility of the back muscles has no correlation with the results of Smash in volleyball athletes. There is no joint relationship between leg muscle strength and the flexibility of the back muscle the results of Smash in volleyball athletes.Key Words: Leg Muscle Strength, Back Muscle Detection, Smash Results

Abstract

Abstract: This study has the title Pantun Physical Structure in the 1001 Pantun Book for Children. The background to this research is that the researchers wanted to see the quality of the physical structure of the pantun in book 1001 Pantun for Children? The aim of this study was to determine the quality of the physical structure of the pantun in book 1001 Pantun for Children. This research is a research into mixing methods using two research methods. Quantitative is used to analyze data and qualitatively used to draw conclusions. On the basis of the research, the rhyme gets an average score of 25, no sampiran gets the maximum score of 40. The content of the pantoen as a whole, totaling 286 pantun, gets a score of 25. The following is the rhymes. A total of 271 rhymes gets a score of 20, 12 rhymes get a score of 25, and only 3 rhymes get a maximum score of 30.Key Words: Structure, physical, rhyme

Abstract

Abstract: This research is entitled the ability to write exposition texts in class XI of SMA Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru. The purpose of this paper is to describe the level of ability to write exposition text of class XI students of Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru High School, and describe the differences in the ability to write exposition texts of class XI students of SMA Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru between sample groups. The data of this study are the results of the ability to write tests of the ability to write exposition texts in class XI of Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru High School which are divided into 2 classes as many as 46 students with a sample of 41 students. The results of the study after testing the chi square test of one sample, the ability to write exposition text of class XI students of Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru High School is equal to the comparative value of 75. The ability to write exposition text of class XI students of SMA Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru is moderate. Then, testing was carried out using the Mann Whitney test, to determine the difference in ability to write exposition texts in class XI of SMA Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru between sample groups. The result is no difference in the ability to write exposition text between sample groups.Keywords: Abilities, exposition text
