Abstract

Abstarct: Has do reasearch to describe effect use Guided Inquiry Learning varied with Mind Mapping for sciencetific literacy and learning result of the 7th grade students of Junior High School 17 Pekanbaru. Form of research is a pre-experiment design research with pretest-posttest one group design. This research was conducted on August up to October 2018. The sample selected with purposive sampling technique, VII.1 class with 37 students. The results showed that category improvement of student’s sciencetific literacy and learning result in experiment class after use Guided Inquiry Learning varied with Mind Mapping are respectively (N-gain=0,61) and (N-gain=0,59) was medium category. According to study results, it could be concluded that: 1) use Guided Inquiry Learning varied with Mind Mapping are effected for students sciencetific literacy 2) use Guided Inquiry Learning varied with Mind Mapping are effected for learning result of the 7th grade students of Junior High School 17 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Guided Inquiry Learning, Mind Mapping, Sciencetific Literacy

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this study was taken by Nafiah Al-Ma'Rab's Five Meter Earth Story poetry on a collection of poems and short stories on History of Smoke by Hening Wicara, Ahmad Ijazi, Bambang Kariyawan Ys, Nafiah Al-Ma’Rab et al. The problem taken is what is the moral message contained in Nafiah Al-Ma’Rab's Five Meter Earth Story poem? This study aims to describe the moral message found in Nafiah Al-Ma’Rab's Five Meter Earth Story poem. The benefits of this study are divided into three types, namely; theoretical, practical and didactic. The method in this study used is qualitative research that describes descriptive data. The data collection technique used is the technique of studying in a book collection of poems and short stories on History of Smoke, and taken from one of the poems entitled Nafiah Al-Ma’Rab's Bumi Lima Meter Story. The data source in this study was taken from a book collection of poems and short stories on History of Smoke. The overall data that the authors found in this study were 23 data, the data were classified into three categories namely; (1) the author's moral message to himself, (2) the author's moral message to other humans, and (3) the author's moral message to his God. The data is; (1) the author's moral message to himself as much as 6 data, (2) the author's moral message to other humans as much as 12 data, and (3) the author's moral message to God as much as 5 data.Key words: Moral message, collection of poems and short stories on Smoke History.

Abstract

Abstract : This research was motivated by the low results of fifth grade students learn math SDN 009 Bintan Timur, seen from the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) set the school is 75. Of the 25 students in a class, a total of 7 students (28%) reached KKM and 18 students (72%) who did not reach KKM with an average grade of 64.40. The purpose of this study was to improve mathematics learning outcomes SDN 009 Bintan Timur through the application of learning strategies of FIRE-UP. FIRE-UP learning strategy is a strategy that focuses on the child's thinking skills development efforts to process the information useful. This study was conducted in May 2018 were carried out in the first semester of 2017/2018. Taken the form of research is classroom action research (PTK). The study consisted of two cycles consisting of four meetings and two meetings of material daily tests. Mathematics learning outcome can be seen from the average on the basis of student's score is 64.40 with classical completeness 28% and then increased the daily test I with an average of 73.80 with classical completeness 48% with a percentage increase of 14.59% %. Then in the second daily test, the average test results increased to 83.40 with classical completeness 100% with a percentage increase of 29.50%. Activities of teachers in the first cycle of the first meeting of 63.63% and increased in the second meeting be 70.45%. At the first meeting of the second cycle of activity was up becoming 79.54% and at the last meeting be 81.81%, with both categories. Activity of students in the first cycle of the first meetings of 59,09% and increased in the second meeting be 68,18%. In the first meeting of the activity of students in the second cycle increased to 77,27 % and in the last encounter to be 79,54 % with good category.Keywords: FIRE-UP Learning Strategies, Mathematic learning result

Abstract

Abstract: The study aims to compare the quality of Indomaret, Alfamart and Self-service services to customer satisfaction in the Sub-distric Tampan Pekanbaru. This research was conducted on Indomaret, Alfamart and Self-service on the road Suka Karya Sub-distric Tampan with 90 research samples obtained using accidental sampling. The data used are primary data and secondary data with methods of collecting data using questionnaires and observations. The technical analysis of the data used is the analysis of the validity test, reliability test, normality test and partial difference test (independent sample t test). The results of this study indicate that from the results of different tests for level of Indomaret, Alfamart and Self-service in the Sub-distric Tampan Pekanbaru there are significant differences in the quality of service to Indomaret, Alfamart and Self-Sevice in Sub-distric Tampan Pekanbaru. From the results of the study it was found that Indomaret had better service than Alfamart and Self-service in Sub-distric Tampan Pekanbaru.Key Words : Service Quality (tangible, reliability, responsivenes, assurance, empathy),Customer Satisfactio

Abstract

Abstract : This research is a class action research that aims to increase the outcomes of mathematics learning of students by applying Problem Based Learning (PBL). The subjects of this research are the student of class XI IPA4 SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru at second semester of academic years 2018/2019 which total number of participant are 36 students, consists of 16 male students and 20 female students with heterogeneous academic achievement. The data needed is data on teacher and student activities collected by observation techniques and analyzed by descriptive narrative and data on student learning outcomes collected by test techniques and analyzed with descriptive statistics. Weaknesses in cycle I are improved in the implementation of cycle II in accordance with the improvement plan. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the learning process in cycle II was improved from cycle I. The result of this research could be concluded that the implementation of Problem Based Learning model can increase the outcomes of mathematics learning of students of grade XI Science4 SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru on the second semester academic years 2018/2019 on matrix.Key Words : The outcomes of mathematics learning, Problem Based Learning, class action research

Abstract

Abstract: Basically, the study aims to describe the type, word class, and structure of onomatopeia in the novel Manusia Setengah Salmon by Raditya Dika. Type of this study is qualitative study and explain the result study according to descriptive. The result of study and discussion of data acquisition, there are four types onomatopeia in the novel Manusia Setengah Salmon by Raditya Dika that is (1) onomatopeia of the human, (2) onomatopeia of the animal, (3) onomatopeia of the object, (4) onomatopeia of the everyday life. Word class onomatopeia in the novel Manusia Setengah Salmon by Raditya Dika that is (1) verb class, (2) noun class, (3) adjective class, (4) adverb class, (5) assignment class. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the effect of applying the cooperative learning model of the talking stick type to the results of mathematics learning in fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Bukit Batu Bengkalis Regency. This type of research is a Quasi Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The subjects of this study were all students in class V, Va class totaling 20 people as the experimental class and Vb class totaling 18 people as the control class. Data collection techniques using tests. Instruments for measuring learning outcomes using pretest and posttest in the form of objective tests. The data analysis technique uses the t test. The results of the study on the control class of the pretest value obtained an average of 36.66 and the posttest value of 57.77 while in the experimental class the value of the pretest was 33.50 and the posttest value was 70.25. The results of the hypothesis test indicate that the value of 〖t 〗_count ≥ t_table or 4.33 ≥ 1.69 is obtained. This shows that the application of the cooperative learning model of the talking stick type influences the results of mathematics learning in fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Bukit Batu, Bengkalis Regency.Key Words: Talking Stick, Mathematics Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve the learning process and improve mathematics learning outcomes by applying the Problem Based Learning model. This research consists of two cycles, each of which consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. At the end of each cycle Quizzes are carried out. The data needed are data on teacher and student activities collected by observation techniques and analyzed by descriptive narrative and mathematics learning outcomes data collected by tests and analyzed by descriptive statistics. Students are seen as actively participating and increasingly independent in the learning process carried out, such as in solving mathematical problems given, presenting the results of problem solving and providing learning conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of the learning process in the second cycle had improved from the implementation of the cycle I. Weaknesses in the first cycle were improved in the implementation of the second cycle according to the improvement plan after reflection cycle I. The number of students who achieved the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) increased from basic scores until Quiz I and II. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Problem Based Learning model can improve the learning process and improve mathematics learning outcomes of students in class VII_4 SMP Negeri 14 Pekanbaru in the odd semester of the school year 2018/2019.Key Words: Mathematics Achievement, Problem Based Learning, Class Action Research

Abstract

Abstract : This research to determine the influence of learning facilities and learning motivation on learning outcomes on economic lesson learning in MAN 2 Bengkalis. The sample in this research is the students of class X IIS and XI IIS that is as many as 42 students. The data collection of this research is documentation an questionnaire. The data analysis of data used is multiple linear analysis. The results showed that learning facilities and learning motivation have a significant effect on the learning outcomes. Seen from the calculation of R2 ( R squere change ) obtained value of 0,418 this mean that the contribution of the influence of learning facilities and learning motivation of learning outcomes is 41,8 %, while the remaining 58,2 % influenced by other variable outside this research.Keywods : Learning facilities, learning motivation, learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : This research is classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and to increase student mathematics achievement with applied the learning model of Problem Based Learning. The subject of this research was student of class X Akuntansi SMK Taruna Satria Pekanbaru in second academic years 2018/2019, which are 30 students, consist of nine boys and 21 girls. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments of data collection in this research is observation sheets and students mathematic tests. The observation sheets was analyzed by narrative descriptive analysis technique, and the students mathematic tests was analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis technique. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycle. Most of students were very confidenced and actived in learning process. The results of this study indicate the number of students who reached Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to UH-I and UH-II. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning mathematics about knowledge of the basic score (26,67%) to the first UH-I (56,67%) to the UH-II (93,33%) thus it can be concluded that the implementation of Problem Based Learning model can improve learning process and increase mathematics achievement from the students at class X Akuntansi SMK Taruna Satria Pekanbaru in second academic years 2018/2019 for the linear program.Key Words: Students’ Mathematic Achievement, Problem Based Learning, Class Action Research
