Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research are to explain the types and the forming meaning context of some minor sentences used in Kick Andy talk show. The type of this study is qualitative research with descriptive method. The source of the data as the object of the research is Kick Andy talk show in Metro TV. The data collection tecnique was done by using observing note taking tecnique the 5 episode in February to early March 2018 of Kick Andy talk show in different topics. The result of the research showed that there were 5 types of unstructured minor sentences which is used in; calling, greeting, the title, ordering expression, ordering instruction, and the type of structured minor sentences elips and marginal sentences.The context forming the meaning of minor sentences were known and analyzed based on pragmatics side by using contextual meaning theory. The context forming the meaning of minor sentences is based on the context of linguistic contexts, emotional contexts, situational contexts, cultural contexts, contexts of context, contexts of context, formal contexts of speech, contexts of moods of speakers / listeners, time context, place context, object context , the context of completeness of speech / hearing, speaker / listener context, or language context.Key Words: minor sentences, talk show, kick andy.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes of PPKn at SMPN 1 Pusako. The formulation of the problem in this study is "is there any influence of the use of Market learning models on learning outcomes whether students in class VIII SMPN 1 Pusako?". This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Crossword Puzzle learning models in improving the learning outcomes of PPKn grade VIII SMPN 1 Pusako. This research was conducted at SMPN 1 Pusako in August 2018. This research is a quantitative descriptive research that was experimental. The population in this study were students of class VIII SMPN 1 Pusako. The sample in this study was taken based on "Random Sampling" technique. where the classes taken into the sample were students of class VIII.2 (experimental class) who were given a market learning model, and class VIII.3 (control class) were students who were given conventional methods. Then the data were analyzed using homogeneity test and "t" test. The subject matter that is applied is the "Norms and Justice". Based on the results of the study indicate that there is an influence of learning outcomes between students who use Market models and conventional methods in SMPN 1 Pusako this can be seen from the results (>). Thus there is an effect of the use of Market learning models on student learning outcomes VIII. The magnitude of the effect after being calculated with a gain test shows the market learning model gives an effect on learning outcomes of 0,40 in the medium category. Where there was an increase in the average learning outcomes of the experimental class to 79,25 and the average increase in the learning outcomes of the control class was 54,07.Key Words : Market, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is based on observations that were found in the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru are still many students who throw trash out of place and there are still students who arrive late to school, there are students who do not do their homework, and there are still students who dress does not fit with school rules. This study has the objective to determine the character of discipline and hard work in class V SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru. The research is descriptive quantitative research, using research instruments such as questionnaires and interviews. Characters discipline Elementary School fifth grade student 161 Pekanbaru in three indicator derived from the percentage of students' answers, the third indicator disciplinary character get good category that is on the discipline of time with a percentage indicator 79,37% and indicators of regulatory discipline with 82.84% and the percentage indicator of behavioral discipline earn a percentage 83.44%. Character hard work in class V SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru in two indicator derived from the percentage of students, both indicators karaker hard work getting both categories namely on indicators of completing all tasks well and timely with the percentage of 79.28% and the indicator does not easily give up in completing the task with a percentage of 77.81%.Key Words: Character, Discipline, Work Hard

Abstract

Abstract: This descriptive research aims to describe the the students’ translation quality in translating English phrasal verbs into Indonesia. The population of this research were sixth-semester students of English Study Program, Universitas Riau.The sample was selected by using total random sampling (n: 30). The data were collected by distributing a test in the form of text which consisted of thirty two phrasal verbs. The collected data were analysed by using editing, coding, and tabulating method. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the students’ quality in translating English pharal verbs into Indonesian in general was good with the mean score 74,15. Specifically, the stundents’ translation quality in translating English phrasal verb into Indonesian in terms of accuracy,clarity, and naturalness were also good with various mean scores; 73.88, 73.21, and 73.18.Keywords: Quality, Translation, Phrasal Verbs

Abstract

Abstract:The purpose of this study is to determine the strenght of the arm and shoulder muscules to words overhand pass skill of voly ball.During the practice of passing on there were still many athletes who were less than optimal in overhand pass voly ball,so the results are not good. This research technique uses total sampling with a sample size of 12 students of the male volly ball extracuricular as SMA NEGERI 12 PEKANBARU. This research uses correlation technique. Then, the test data used the normality test, the moment correlation product test, α significant test α = 0,05. Normality test variable X, L0max (0,1300) < Ltabel (0,242), and variable normality test Y, L0max(0,1875) < Ltabel( 0,242) in other words the confidence level of 95% normal data and research conclusions indicate : a significant correlation between bisep power and overhand pass skill of voly ball extracurricular students, with a correlation r = 0,7067. Where r count > r tabel or 0,7067 > 0,602 and correlation are categorized as strong this, Ha is accepted.Key Words : Correlation, bisep power, overhand pass

Abstract

Abstract: In making the pathway, it turns out that there are also elements of Malay culture, namely pantun. Pantun is not only used in a variety of social activities, but also in the pathway culture. The Pantun is the most widely known form of Malay literature. In the past pantun was used to complete daily conversation. Even now most Malay people in the countryside still use it. Starting from the background of the problem, the writer can formulate the problem, namely "What is the meaning of pantun in making the path for the people of Kuantan Singingi Regency?" The place of research is the people of Kuantan Singingi Regency. When this research was conducted for 6 months from the research proposal, the seminar continued with thesis writing up to the bachelor's exam. In this study researchers used structured interviews. This means that researchers have made a list of questions to be submitted to research respondents. Based on the presentation and analysis of the data, it can be concluded that the results of this study are: 1) the values contained in the pathway in Kuantan Singingi Regency include: family values, courtesy values, artistic values, religious values, hard work values (enthusiasm and trying), the value of cooperation and the value of sportsmanship. 2) the meaning of pantun in boat building is the path that is made if not with Allah's permission as good as any form it will not be able to speed and good because all the paths will not be the same, wood assisted must follow its shape. 3) the Rapat Banjar tradition in boat building. 4) choose the three in boat building. 5) the tradirion of manobang in boat building. 6) the carpenther tradition in boat building. 7) the tradition in maelo jalur of boat building.Keywords: Tradition exchange, track runway

Abstrak : This study is entitled Hope parents choose an equality program to study their children in PKBM Kak Seto Pekanbaru which shows the following phenomena, 1. There are still parents who do not understand the importance of learning for children, so that many children whose work is unclear and does not change family economy. 2. There are still parents who do not understand the importance of the value that will be obtained if the child learns, so that many children lack confidence when they want to do something, 3. There are still parents who do not understand the importance of trust, so many children are less open to people old age. From this phenomenon it can be concluded that there are still parents who do not understand the importance of choosing an equality program to study their children. This is estimated because of the varied levels of education, employment and economic status. So the formulation of the problem in this study is how high is the expectation that parents choose an equality program to study their children in PKBM Kak Seto? This type of research is descriptive research, this is in accordance with the opinion of Sugiyono (2012: 11) with a quantitative approach using simple random sampling technique (questionnaire random sampling) through questionnaires, which amounted to 50 items statement. Data obtained from respondents totaling 20 people for the trial sample and 38 people for the study sample. After the questionnaire is tested, there are 2 invalid items, and the researcher discards invalid statements, so that 48 valid statement items are used.ndonesia to.Keywords: Hope, parents.

Abstract

Abstract : Kepok banana skin waste is organic waste that has not been managed properly. Management of kepok banana skin waste can be used as Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC). To see the macro nutrient content, namely N, P and K on the POC kepok banana skin, an analysis of the content of N, P and K. was applied. The application of POC was applied to lettuce plants (Lactuca sativa). This study aims to determine the optimal concentration of POC kepok banana skin based on the content of N, P and K and to determine the optimal concentration of POC application of kepok banana skin to lettuce plants. This research uses a quantitative approach with two types of research Complete Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The results showed that without the addition of EM4 it had shown the highest mean for testing the content of N, P and K and its application to lettuce plants. It was concluded that the optimal concentration without addition of EM4 from kepok banana skin waste used as POC based on the content of N, P and K was at treatment K1 and there was the addition of EM4 in treatment K5. The optimal concentration of giving POC kepok banana skin without the addition of EM4 to lettuce plants (Lactuca sativa) was in treatment I1 and without the addition of EM4 was at treatment I5.Key words : Kepok Banana Skin Waste, Effective Microorganism 4, Molasses and Lettuce Plants

Abstract

Abstrack : Boru ni Raja is an honor and respect for every Batak woman who started since she was born into the world. The purpose of this paper is 1) to find out the true meaning of "boru ni raja" in the customs of the Toba Batak community, 2) to find out the life of Toba Batak women as a "boru ni raja", 3) to find out the perception of Toba Batak women in Buantan Village Big Siak District, Siak Regency, Riau Province about the meaning of "boru ni raja", 4) to find out the implementation of the meaning of "boru ni raja" in the customs of the Toba Batak community in the Village of Large Buantan, Siak District, Siak Provention Regency, Riau. The author uses historical methods, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography, and qualitative methods with data analysis techniques using descriptive qualitative analysis. In collecting data, the researcher uses interview, observation and documentation techniques. The Toba Batak community has a perception that the Boru ni Raja concept is still important to be instilled in every Toba Batak woman and is still suitable to run into modern times today. Along with the development of the times and the many Toba Batak people who live to migrate so that it influences the mindset and perspective of the Batak people. Toba about the position of Toba Batak women as Boru ni Raja. This change in perspective also ultimately affected aspects of the lives of Toba Batak women. This aspect of life can be seen that they have begun to be taken into account in the midst of family, community, and other aspects. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to find out whether the explosive power of the legs has a significant correlation with the bullet repulsion ability in Pekanbaru 15 High School students. Samples selected using atechnique purposive sample, so that 60 samples were obtained. Research data on leg limb explosions were obtained from vertical jump movements performed by the sample. While data on the ability of the shot is obtained from the bullet treatment. Data analysis and research hypothesis testing using correlation analysis techniques productmoment with a level significan of α = 0.05, From the data analysis can be obtained results that; (1) there is no correlation between leg muscle power (X) with the o'brient style bullet repulsion ability (Y) in male students of Pekanbaru 15 High School r count = 0.039 < r table = 0.254. This means that the hypothesis is rejected. Conclusion The hypothesis was accepted at a significant level = 0.05 in other words there was no significant relationship between leg muscle power and o'brien-style shot put result abilities in male students of Pekanbaru 15 High School.Key Words: Correlation, Power limb muscles, shot put
