Abstract

Abstrack: This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of maltodextrin on the composition of instant powder drinks produced by jackfruit seeds (Arthocarpus Heterophyllus Lamk.) As a design of student worksheet (LKPD) for X11 grade biotechnology material. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (RAL) method consisting of 5 treatments and 3 replications, namely protein content using (M0 = 0; M1 = 5%; M2 = 10%; M3 = 15%; M4 = 20%; and M5 = 25%), carbohydrate treatment (M0 = 0; M1 = 5%; M2 = 10%; M3 = 15%; M4 = 20%; and M5 = 25%), levels fat (M0 = 0; M1 = 5%; M2 = 10%; M3 = 15%; M4 = 20%; and M5 = 25%), as well as organoleptic tests (descriptive and hedonic). The results showed that the addition of maltodextrin to the levels of protein, fat, carbohydrate after the results of a variance test (Variant Analysis) showed that the addition of maltodextrin in the composition of instant powder drinks produced by jackfruit seeds had no significant effect. Then the DMRT test was not carried out at the level of 5%. However, the highest and best levels were obtained from protein, carbohydrate, fat, and organoleptic content, namely in the M5 treatment (25%). All scientific facts from the research can be used to design student worksheets (LKPD) on conventional biotechnology materials in class XII of high school using the project based learning (PPA) model. However, before the design of the LKPD is used on a broader scale it is recommended that a feasibility test be carried out on a limited scale.Key Words: jackfruit seeds, maltodextrin, student worksheet (LKPD).

Abstract

Abstract: Based on field observations it can be seen that the ability to recornize the geometry of children aged 4-5 years has not developed optimally. So it is necessary to apply the maze game. This study aims to determine the effect of labyrinth games on the ability to recognize geometric shapes in children aged 4-5 years in Fatimah Islamic Kindergarten, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City. This study used an experimental method with one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were children aged 4-5 years. The sample in this study was group A totaling 15 children. The data collection technique used is observation. The data analysis technique in this study used the t-test. The results of this research hypothesis test were obtained t = 19,000 with (Sig. 2- tailed) = 0.00 <0.05, which means that there was a significant increase after using the labyrinth game during the learning process. The influence given to the use of the labyrinthine game to the ability to recognize geometric shapes in children aged 4-5 years in the Fatimah Islamic Kindergarten in Pekanbaru is 57.57% in the medium category.Key Words: Maze Game, Ability to Know Geometry

Abstract

Abstract: Based on observations conducted in the field of research results squat style long jumps in male students of class VIII A PUTRA SMP N 25 Pekanbaru during the sports health physical education (PJOK) athletic program for long jump numbers that can be seen are still low, with student jump distance the average is 2.50 meters, while the KKM (minimum completeness criteria) in the long jump is 3.50 meters. This research was carried out in the SMP N 25 Pekanbaru field. Complete address is Jalan Kartama, Maharatu, Marpoyan Damai, Pekanbaru City, Riau. The time of this study was carried out after completing the proposal, on December 15, 2018, with a sample of 17 students. From the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a relation with 40 meters running speed and leg muscle strength with the results of squat style long jumps using the 40 meter running speed test three times the test, and taken more than three times this test, then do a strength test leg muscles using the Dynamomoter Kaki tool three times, and take the highest value, then test the results of the squat style long jump as much as three times the experiment, and take the furthest value to be used as data that will be processed by the researcher. The purpose of this study was to study the relationship of 40 meters running speed and leg muscle strength with the results of squat style long jumps on class VIII A boys in 25th Junior High School Pekanbaru.Key Words: Running Speed, Leg Muscle Strength, Squat Style Long Jump

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the factors that influence the interest in entrepreneurship in Pelalawan National Vocational School students. The population in this study were all students of Pelalawan National Vocational School, amounting to 192 students from class X, XI, and XII. The sample was taken using the Stratified random sampling technique, which was 66 students. Data was collected using questionnaires, data analysis using descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. Descriptively, interest in entrepreneurship in students is included in the low category, confidence is included in the low category, creativity is included in the low category, and risk taking is included in the low category. Factors of confidence, creativity, and courage to take risks have a significant effect on the interest in entrepreneurship with the regression equation Y = 0.954 + 0.242X1 + 0.293X2 + 0.278X3 and contribute to the interest in student entrepreneurship by 23.6%.Key Words: Confidence, Creativity, Dare to Take Risks and Interest in Entrepreneurship.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This research is entitled Endocentric Phrases in Yahoo Articles in February 2017. This study aims to describe the types of endocentric phrases and describe the endocentric phrase functions contained in the February 2017 edition of Yahoo. The method used is descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. The research data is an endocentric phrase in the February 2017 edition of Yahoo which numbered 206. The results of the study found were (1) 113 coordinative endocentric phrases, (2) 45 attribute-type endocentric phrases, (3) 48 apositive endocentric phrases. In addition, the syntactic function is occupied by endocentric phrases. These functions include: (1) 66 endocentric phrases that occupy the function of the subject, (2) 6 endocentric phrases that occupy the prediket function, (3) 61 endocentric phrases that occupy object functions, (4) 57 endocentric phrases that occupy the information function, (5) 16 endocentric phrases that occupy complementary functions.  Key Words: Syntax, Syntactic Functions, Phrases, Articles, Yahoo

Abstract

Abstract: Social competence is an effective response from someone to various life situations or the ability to interact effectively with the environment. This study aims to determine the effect of assertive training techniques on improving social competency of students in Pekanbaru Muhammadiyah 1 Middle School. This type of research uses quantitative research with an experimental method using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The measuring instrument used in this study is a social competency measurement scale consisting of 38 item statements. The subjects of this study were 7 students who had low social competence. The data analysis technique used is non-parametric statistical techniques using Wilcoxon analysis test. The results of the study prove that the research hypothesis is accepted. This is known from "Test Statistics", known as Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) worth 0.017. Because the value of 0.017 is smaller than <0.05, it can be concluded that "Ha is accepted". For this reason, it can be concluded that there are differences in social competence scores before and after treatment in the form of assertive training techniques. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Social competence of students before being given an assertive training technique is included in the low category and after being given assertive training techniques most are in the high category. (2) There is a significant difference in the level of social competence of students before and after being given strict training techniques. (3) There is a significant effect of assertive training techniques to improve students' social competence.Key Words: Assertive Training, Social Competence.

Abstract

Abstarak: this study aims to determine the differences in communication anxiety before and after being given the therapy of the Qur'an surah Al-Fatihah through group guidance and knowing the effect of the therapy of Al-Qur'an surah Al-Fatihah to reduce students' communication anxiety through group guidance. This research was conducted at Pekanbaru State High School 12 against 8 subjects with purposive sampling technique. The research design was pre-experiment with the one group pre-test post-test model. The instrument of data collection used was a communication anxiety questionnaire adapted from Miles and Vicky (2009). The results showed that there were differences in students' communication anxiety before and after being given Al-Qur'an surah Al-Fatihah therapy with a significant value of 0.012 <0.05. in addition, based on the Spearman rank test, it is known that there is a significant influence between the therapy of Al-Qur'an surah Al-Fatihah on student communication anxiety with a significant value of 0.001 <0.05. The influence of Al-Qur'an surah Al-Fatihah therapy on student communication anxiety is 86.11% while 13.89% is influenced by other factors that come from within and from the student's environment. From the results obtained, it is recommended that educational institutions should be able to continue implementing IMTAQ such as relaxation, reading the Qur'an correctly by living it, deepening the Qur'an and religious learning to encourage the development of thoughts, perceptions, insights, calmness and attitudes more positive students. Key Words: Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Fatihah,  therapy, Communication Anxiety,

Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed at finding out the reading ability of the first year students of SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru in comprehending descriptive texts. The population of this research was the first year students of SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. The number of sample was 34 students selected by using cluster random sampling technique. The instrument to collect the data was multiple choice test items with 30 questions. Each text consists of 6 questions which cover the components of reading and the components of descriptive namely finding main ideas, finding factual information, finding meaning of vocabulary words, finding references, finding inferences and finding social functions. The data were analyzed by classifying them into five levels of ability: very poor, poor, mediocre, good and excellent. Based on the findings of this research, it was found that the students’ reading ability of the first year students of SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru in comprehending descriptive texts was in good level with the mean score was 61. The implication of this research is that the first year students of SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru have a good ability in reading descriptive texts.Key Words: Students’ ability, Reading, Descriptive Texts.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the implementation of noble character values honest, trustworthy, hard work, thrifty, harmonious, trustworthy, and cooperation Good students of the Pondok Pesantren Pelajar dan Mahasiswa Miftahul Huda, Pekanbaru. In data processing the researcher uses quantitative data analysis. The sample of this study was 51 students of Pondok Pesantren Pelajar dan Mahasiswa Miftahul Huda Pekanbaru City, consisting of 4 students and 47 students. The data retrieval technique used by researchers is to use questionnaires / questionnaires to students, interviews with teacher boards, and observation or seeing directly to the field. The author formulates research problems, namely „'How are the implementation of noble character values carried out at the Pondok Pesantren Pelajar dan Mahasiswa Miftahul Huda?'. The benefit for board administrators is to be able to map and design the implementation of noble character values so that it can run optimally, it is expected to be a material for evaluation and stabilization in the character building of the students. After doing the research, it can be concluded that the implementation of noble character values has gone well, but the need for development in applying them. The results of data processing show that the percentage of respondents' answers as a whole is quite good as much as 54.21% which is located in rank 50% - 75%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the study of the implementation of noble behavioral values at the Pondok Pesantren Pelajar dan Mahasiswa Miftahul Huda Pekanbaru City was carried out reasonably well.Key Words: Implementation, Noble Character Values

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of teacher pedagogical competencies and learning facilities at home on the learning motivation of IIS class X students in Pekanbaru 5 Senior High School. The population in this study were all students of class X IIS SMA 5 pekanbaru which amounted to 143 students. The samples was taken using a simple random sampling technique that is as many as 57 students. Data was collected using questionnaires, data analysis using descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. Descriptively, students' learning motivation is included in the low category, the teacher's pedagogical competence is included in the good category, and home learning facilities are in the inadequate category. Teacher's pedagogic competence and home learning facilities have a significant effect on learning motivation with the regression equation Y = 0.209 + 0.438X1 + 0.305X2 and contribute influence to student learning motivation by 53.4%.Key Words: Teacher Pedagogic Competency, Learning Facilities In Home, and Learning Motivation.
