Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of self management techniques on gadget addiction behavior of students of SMK Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. This type of research is a quantitative study with an experimental method using the research design One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The measuring instrument used in this study is the scale of measurement of gadget addiction behavior which consists of 50 items before the validity, and after divalidity there are 41 valid items obtained with validity of 0.560 and reliability of 0.934. The subjects of this study were 7 students of SMK Negeri 1 Pekanbaru who were identified as having high levels of addictive gadget behavior. The data analysis technique used is non-parametric statistical techniques using the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study proved that the research hypothesis was accepted. For this reason, it can be concluded that there are differences in gadget addiction behavior scores before and after being given treatment in the form of self management techniques. From the results of Rank Spearman test obtained r = 0.821 while the correlation coefficient r2 = 0.67. Thus there is the effect of self management techniques on student gadget addiction behavior by 67% at SMK Negeri 1 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Self management, gadget addiction behavior of students SMK

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the observations in the field against the ability to know the concept of number of protégés have not evolved with the optimal. To do so use the game maze number. The purpose of the study is to investigate the influence of labyrinth number against the ability to know the concept of number of children ages 4-5 years. This research was conducted at TK Negeri Pembina Pangean Regency Kuantan Singingi from January until April 2019 2019 for observation and research. This research is experimental research design using one group pretest and posttest design with a total sample of 15 children. . Data collection techniques used in this research is the use of observation sheet the ability to know the concept of number. Data analysis techniques using a t-test test by using SPSS program ver 20. From the results of the analysis of the data obtained thitung of larger 12.895 dati ttabel = 2.145 with sig 0000 < 0.05. It can be concluded that there is a difference in the ability to know the concept of significant numbers before and after using a maze game number. Based on the hypothesis test is obtained there is influence of labyrinth number against the ability to know the concept of numbers in children ages 4-5 years at TK Negeri Pembina Pangean Regency Kuantan Singingi.Key Words: Maze Number, The Ability To Know The Concept Of Numbers

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes in the history subjects of class X IPS at SMAN 2 Peranap. Based on these problems, the formulation of the problem in this study is whether the application of the predict-observe-explain (POE) learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class X IPS students of SMA Negeri 1 Peranap. The purpose of this study is to find out the activities of teachers and students in the implementation of the learning process by using the predict-observe-explain (POE) model and to determine the effect of this learning model on learning outcomes of students of class X IPS SMA Negeri 2 Peranap on historical subjects. This research was conducted in two cycles, in the first cycle the learning outcomes of students reached 81.8% classical completeness and increased in the second cycle reached 100%. Based on the results of these studies it can be concluded that the application of the predict-observe-explain (POE) learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the history lesson of the X IPS class at SMA Negeri 2 Peranap.Key Words: Learning strategy predict-observe-explain (POE), Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research entitled the correlation understanding of exposition text with exposition text writing skills of VIII grade students of Junior High School PGRI Pekanbaru. This research aims to describe the correlation understanding of exposition text and writing skills exposition text of VIII grade students of Junior Highh School PGRI Pekanbaru. This type of research is quantitativeresearch with descriptive methods. The data of this study arein the form of an objective test score understanding of exposition text with the performance test scores writing skills in exposition text writing sjkills for VIII grade students of Junior High School PGRI Pekanbaru. The results of the reserach were found (1) understanding of the exposition text of class VIII Pekanbaru PGRI Middle School students was in sufficient qualification (63.40) and had not yet fulfilled the KKM (63.40 <80.00), (2) exposition text writing skills of junior high school students PGRI Pekanbaru is in sufficient qualification (59.85) and has not fulfilled KKM (59.85 <80.00), and (3) there is a significant correlation between understanding of the exposition text and the writing skills of exposition text of class VIII students of Junior High School PGRI Pekanbaru degree of freedom n-1 and significant level of 95%. Abstract

Abstract: Marriage Traditions Minangkabau communities in Aro Kayu village vary greatly depending on their respective regions. This can be seen from the time of release, procedures, and equipment. These differences are strongly influenced by the place of residence and the social environment and the influence of technological developments. The implementation of the marriage tradition of the Minangkabau people in Kayu Aro Solok District uses the Minangkabau customs. The purpose of this study is (1) To find out the process of implementing the Minangkabau marriage tradition in Kayu Aro village. (2) To find out the forms of changes that occur in the Minangkabau adat marriage tradition in Kayu Aro village. (3) To find out what factors influence the change in the marriage tradition of the Minangkabau people in Kayu Aro village. The research method used in this study is qualitative. The result of the research is that the process of the marriage tradition of the Minangkabau people is still being carried out. But there are several stages that have undergone changes. The stages of change are merisik and traditional wedding attire. Based on the results of interviews with the people in Aro village, the factors that cause changes in the marriage tradition of the Minangkabau people in Kayu Aro Village, Gunung Talang District, Solok Regency are technological factors and globalization factors. Starting from a variety of diseases that plagued the population in 1847, with thus attempting to recruit indigenous workers as doctors was cheap and easy to obtain. then a school of Javanese Medical Schools (STOVIA) was established. The purpose of this study is 1) To find out the beginning of the entry of the Netherlands in Bagansiapiapi, 2) To find out the reasons for the doctor's RM. Pratomo came to Bagansiapiapi, 3) To find out the role of Doctor RM. Pratomo as a pioneer of bagan siapi-api public health 1910-1939, 4) To find out the development of the hospital that was built by the Doctor RM. Pratomo 1910-1939. As for this study using qualitative research methods with a historical approach and data collection techniques in the form of observation, direct interviews and documentation. The results of this study were doctor RM. Pratomo was a doctor who was transferred to the Bagansiapiapi area and became the first doctor in Bagansiapiapi. Doctor RM. Pratomo built medical clinics and treated local people to communities in the countryside near the Rokan River. So much the role of the doctor RM. Pratomo as the only doctor in Bagansiapiapi so that we should remember his services and preserve his heritage. Key Words: Role, Health Pioneer

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to find out the writing ability of the third year students of SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kuras. The population of this research is all the third year students of SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kuras. The number of sample is 60 students selected by using cluster random sampling technique. The instrument to collect the data was writing test and scored by three raters. The data were analyzed by classifying them into five levels of ability, such as very poor, poor, average, good, and excellent. Based on the findings of this research, it was found that the students’ writing ability was in good level with the average score 74.12. In conclusion the third year students of SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kuras have a good ability in writing application letter.Key Words: Writing’ Ability, Application Letter

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this study is the mawashi Geri on the Dojo kick technique SDs Marsudirini perawang has not provided satisfactory results on the kick movement speed so as not to give points given. One of the factors in the physical condition that influences the kick speed is strength. Regarding the instruments used in this study the vertical jump test and the Mawashi geri kick test. This study aims to study the relationship of leg muscle strength with the results of the speed of Mawashi Geri's kicks at SD Marsudirini Perawang Dojo. Based on the results of the upper frequency distribution of 6 samples, it turned out that 3 samples (50%) had kick results with a range of values of 14-20 with sufficient categories, then 2 samples (33.33%) had kick results with a value range of 21-23 with good category, starting from 1 sample person (16.66%) has the results starting with various grades 24-26 with excellent categories. From the results of the research described above, it can be concluded that there is something related to leg muscle strength to the speed of mawashi geri kicking in the dojo of SD Marsudirini Perawang, where rtab at a significant level a (0.05) = 0.878 means r count (0.999) (0.878).Key Words: Leg muscle strength, Mawashi kick speed

Abstract

Abstract: This research discuses about translation of Indonesian phatic words into Japanes. On this research, writer using descriptive qualitative method with phatic theory by Kridalaksana (1986) and translation method by Newmark (1988). After collecting data on the webtoon, writer found 17 types of phatic words, it’s ah, deh, dong, kan, kek, kok, -lah, lho, nah, pun, sih, toh, ya, yah, ayo, halo and selamat. The results of this research, not all Indonesian phatic words are translated into phatic word in Japanese, because in Japanese there is no class of phatic word like Indonesian language. Translation tends to use communicative translation methods ehich only find the right equivalent in Japanese according to the context of the sentence and structure of the Japanese language.Key Words: Translation, Phatic Word, Webtoon.

Abstract

Abstract: The formulation of the problem in this study is how high is theattention of parents to children's learning activities in RW 004, Tuah Karya Village, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City? How big is the contribution of parents' attention to children's learning activities in RW 004 Tuah Karya Village, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City? The benefits of this study are to find out the high / low attention of parents to children's learning activities in RW 004 Tuah Karya Village, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City, to find a large contribution of parents' attention to children's learning activities in RW 004, Tuah Karya Village, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City. This research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 70 people. Sampling in this study using simple random sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The parents' attention consisted of 63 statements while the children's learning activities at home consisted of 23 statements. Parents 'attention to children's learning activities in RW 004 in Tuah Karya Village, Tampan Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City was measured by indicators of parents' attention, namely providingchildren's learning facilities, helping children's learning activities, motivating children to learn. While children's learning activities at home are measured by the schedule indicator and implementation, reading and taking notes, repeating learning materials, and doing assignments / homework. Parents' attention to children's learning activities in RW 004 in Tuah Karya Village, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City is high with a mean of 4.38. Based on inferential statistical analysis, the contribution of parents' attention to children's learning activities at home is low, which is 23.80%, which means there are 76.20% determined by other factors that are not part of this study.Key Words: Attention, Parents, Learning Activities, Children, At home
