Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the issue of the importance of discipline in pencak silat which must be applied by each student. Based on the results of observations (preliminary studies) conducted by researchers at the Silet Puti Silat secretariat / office, students who participated in pencak silat activities had not optimally applied the discipline character well. This is based on interviews with the secretariat / office trainer, that in general there are still many students who are undisciplined, such as arriving late at the training schedule, not in uniform with the reason of forgetting, and there are some students who are not mandated when trusted by parents to pay for training / monthly fees to the coach, but the student does not pay. This proves that students in the Swiftlet Sili College do not yet have a good discipline character. This type of research used in this research is quantitative descriptive research type and the method used is a survey method. The population in this study were 180 students of Swallow Silat College students. The author takes a sample of 22% of the population. Then obtained a sample size of 40 samples. Data collection techniques with questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis uses percentage formulas. Based on the results of research from chapter IV above, it can be concluded that: Not yet well-implemented discipline based on the rules and regulations applied to students of Swallow Silat College in Peranap District. This can be seen from the results of the study which stated that only 50.8% or half of all students who answered "never" and the answer proves that the application of discipline character education in students of Swallow Silat College can be categorized as "Pretty Good".Key Words: Character Education, Walet Puti Silat College

Abstract

Absract: This research aims to improve the learning process and improve learning result in mathematics at SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru by applying the model of Cooperative Learning Think Pair Share (TPS). This research is a class action research by two cycles. Each cycle has four phases, they were planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Subjects were class X4 students consist of 16 boys and 24 girls who have academic ability is heterogeneous. The research instrument consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used in this research is Syllabus, Lesson Plan, and Worksheet. The instrument data collector used in this research is the observation sheet and math achievement test. The data analysis technique utilized qualitative and quantitative data analysis technique. Based on the result of the research showed that the learning process had performed well after has been made. An increase in the number of students who received grades of 20 and 30 as many as 27 students on first cycle and 32 students on second cycle. That is also an increase in the number of students who achieve at KKM end of UH each cycle compared to the number of students who achieve a score of KKM on the base. Starting from 27,5% increase to 35% and increased to 72,5%. The development of the results of this research indicate that the application of the Cooperative Learning Think Pair Share (TPS) can improve the learning process and improve learning results class X4 junior high school math class students Negeri 9 Pekanbaru in the academic year 2015/2016 at Basic Competencies (1) Menyelesaikan sistem persamaan  linear dan sistem persamaan campuran linear dan kuadrat dalam dua variabel, (2) Merancang model matematika dari masalah yang berkaitan dengan sistem persamaan linear, dan (3) Menyelesaikan model matematika dari masalah yang berkaitan dengan sistem persamaan linear dan penafsirannya.. Key Words: Mathematics Learning Result, Learning Process, Cooperative Learning, Think Pair Share, Classroom Action Research

Abstract

AbstractIssues raised in this research is to improve the skills of high printing with naturalmaterials Elementary School second grade 177 Pekanbaru. Subjects in this studywere second grade students of SDN 177 Pekanbaru academic year 2013/2014 thenumber of 30 students. This research was conducted in two cycles. This study is aclassroom action research (CAR), which aims to improve the skills of highscoringsecond grade natural ingredients SDN 177 Pekanbaru. These resultsindicate that the application of learning models to improve skills PAIKEM scoredhigh with second grade natural ingredients SDN 177 Pekanbaru. At baseline theaverage value of 55.1 students scored higher on the assessment results withnatural ingredients in the first cycle, the average value of 72.7 students increasedby 17.6 from the preliminary data. While scoring high on the assessment resultswith natural ingredients second cycle students' average score increased to 86.33and 13.63 increased by the high scoring of the assessment results with naturalingredients cycle I. This shows that the application of learning models to improveskills PAIKEM scored high with second grade natural ingredients SDN 177Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Abstract: This study was carried out because of low learning outcomes Mathematics fourth grade students of SD Negeri 59 Boncah Mahang. Of the 32 students who achieve KKM many as 17 people (53.12%) while students who did not complete (46.87%) with an average of 59.06. the purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes Mathematical IVD grade students of SD Negeri 59 Boncah Mahang denganp Problem Based Learning model. The results of this study showed the average value of 59.06 Basic Scores increased in the first cycle of 3.70% to 61.25. the second cycle of the average value of students also increased by 26.35% to 74.62% on a base score completeness result of learning mathematics students only 53.12% (Action Completed) after application of the model teacher PBM in the first cycle classical completeness obtained are increased to increase to 74.62% , Activity Cycle I teacher at the first meeting of 74.37% with both categories. The second meeting increased to 80% in both categories. At the first meeting of the second cycle at 85% with the category very well, at the second meeting increased to 90% with very good category. Activities of students in the first cycle of the first meeting obtain sufficient percentage of 60% category. The second meeting 75% with very good category. In the second cycle at the first meeting of student activity increased to 80% with very good category. And at the second meeting increased to 85% with very good category. Key Words: Problem Based Learning, Mathematics learning outcome

Abstract

Abstract: Tang Kim Teng is a fighter of Chinese descent. Tang Kim Teng had a role in the independence war in Pekanbaru in 1945-1950 by smuggling weapons from Singapore to Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to know Tang Tang Teng biography, To know the role of Tang Kim Teng in the war of independence in Pekanbaru, To know the end of weapon smuggling activities conducted by Tang Kim Teng, To Know the award obtained by Tang Kim Teng from the Government. The method used in this research is qualitative. Data obtained from the interviews are then analyzed in their own language. The location of the research is Pekanbaru City. This research started from the beginning of the title of this researcher submitted until this thesis is completed. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques, documentation techniques, interview techniques and literature study techniques. The results showed that Tang Kim Teng had a role in the independence war in Pekanbaru by smuggling weapons and supplies from Singapore to Pekanbaru and forwarded to Pekanbaru Regiment IV.Keywords: Tang Kim Teng, Independence, Pekanbaru City

Abstract

Abstract : This is a classroom action research. This research is an attempt to improve student learning activities in chemistry on class XI MIA 2 SMA Islam As-Shofa Pekanbaru by using learning method plane problem. Student learning activity which is repaired the activity of making questions, working on plane problem, group discussion, submit answers or opinions, and enthusiastic about the game of plane problem. This research consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings that went through four stages of implementation: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The collecting data used observation and test. The analysis data was describ with descriptively by using percentage technique. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded the using of learning method plane problem can improve the activity and student learning outcomes. It can be seen by the improvement of student’s learning activity from 62,41% at the first cycle to 76,38% at the second cycle, and learning completeness from 68,96% at the first cycle to 82,75% at the second cycle.Keyword: Learning method plane problem, activities, learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : This Research aims to develop Student Activities Worksheets Based on Constructivism on the Solubility and Constant Solubility Product subject valid based on the feasibility aspect of content, language, serve and graphic. The type of this research is research and development (R and D) with reference to the development process of 4-D model. Instrument of data collection are validation given to three validators, and from analysis data obtained by the validity of aspect of content, aspect of language, aspect of serve, and aspect of graphic are 91,50%, 93,33%, 89,58%, dan 89,58% with valid category. LKPD which validated by the validators tested to 30 students and get response result with percentage of 92,67% with positive category. Based on the result of data analysis can be concluded that student activities worksheets based on constructivism that produced is valid and can be used for the subject solubility and constant solubility product.Keywords: Solubility and Constant Solubility Product, Constructivism, Student ActivitiesWorksheet, Chemistry

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research that speed and agility with the ability to herd on the soccer team at the Pekanbaru Cadets Vocational School. This type of research is a type of correlation research. The population of this research was the Pekanbaru Satria Vocational School Team, which numbered 20 people. The sampling technique is taken entirely (total sampling). So this sampling technique is fully 20 people from the Satria Taruna Vocational School Pekanbaru. Based on the research that has been done, it can be obtained from the correlation of Pekanbaru Satria Taruna Vocational School Team where the first analysis between Speed and Ball X1 and Y Ability where rtab at a significant level ɑ (0.05) = r_count (0.102 ) > r_tab (0.456), means the hypothesis is not accepted and there is no significant correlation between speed and the ability to accompany the Taruna Satria VOCATIONAL SCHOOL of Pekanbaru soccer team. From the calculation of the analysis of both X2 and Y, where r_tab at a significant level ɑ (0.05) = means r_count (0.656) > r_tab (0.456), meaning the hypothesis is accepted and there is a significant correlation between agility and the ability to dribble the Taruna Satria Vocational School Pekanbaru football team . The third analysis of the correlation of speed (X1) agility (X2) with dribbling ability (Y) where rtab at a significant level ɑ (0.05) = r_count (0.660) > r_tab (0.456), it can be concluded that the relationship between (X1) and (X2) with (Y) or the correlation between speed and agility with dribbling ability has a strong interpretation.Key Words: Speed, Agility and Herding Ball

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted because of the low learning outcomes of the VB students at SDN 110 Pekanbaru. It can be seen from their final examination results with an average score of 62,63 when the success criteria is 76. In order to solve this problem, the researcher decided to apply the cooperative learning model Think Talk Write to the students, which starts with the students’ involvement in thinking by themselves after reading the materials provided, followed by reading and developing ideas with their peers and then followed by writing conclusion and reports. This research is an action reserach, which consists of two cycles. Cycle 1 consists of two meetings and one daily exam at the end of every cycle. The subject of this research is the VB students of SDN 110 Pekanbaru which contains of 24 students, consisting of 15 females and 9 males. Before the TTW model was applied, the teachers’ activity in cycle I improved from 66,67%, which is categorized as good, to 75% which is categorized as good as well, and then it improved again in Cycle II and became 95,83% which is categorized as very good. The students’ ;earning outcomes improved from 62,63 to 76,67 in daily exam I and it improved again in daily exam II, becoming 81,25. With the implementation of TTW learning model, the students’ learning outcomes improve by 18,62%, therefore it can be concluded that the implementation of the cooperative learning model Think Talk Write canimprove the learning outcomes of Social Subjects of the VB students at SDN 110 Pekanbaru.Keywords : Cooperative learning, Think Talk Write (TTW) model, Social Subjects’ learningoutcomes

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in physics learning outcomes class XI SMAN 3 Dumai using problem based learning model with Phymagz media. The form of this study was Quasi Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample of research is student of XI MIPA3 as experiment class and class XI MIPA2 as control class. Instrumen of data collection is the result of cognitive learning given to the sample before and after the learning. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive and inferential anaysis. The result showed the students average absorption by applying problem based learning model with phymagz media is higher than the application of conventional learning. Thus concluded that the application of learning problem based learning model with phymagz media can improve student learning outcomes in learning physics in static fluid in class XI MIPA SMAN 3 Dumai.Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Physics Magazine, Learning Outcomes.
