Abstract

Abstract : This research was aimed to increase learning process and students’ achievement of social lesson in IVB grade year of 2014/2015. The subject of this research is students IVB grade of State Elementary School 146 Pekanbaru which is total of 36 students, consisted of 21 girls and 15 boys. This was a classroom research which has two cycles which was conducted on April 16th to May 2nd 2015. The data shown that either learning process or students’ achievement increased. This was found from students’ and teacher’s scores in learning process increased. First cycle at the first meeting teacher’s activity was 58, 33% categorized as enough and increased 4, 17% at the second meeting as 62, 5% categorized as good. Meanwhile at the second cycle at the first meeting the percentage of teacher’s activity increased as 79, 17% categorized as good and in the second meeting it increased as 8,33% so the percentage became 87,5% categorized as very good. While students’ activities in learning process also increased. At the first cycle in the first meeting, the percentage of students’ activities was 58,33% categorized as enough and the second meeting it increased as 8,34% so became 66,67% categorized as good. At the second cycle in the first meeting it increased to 79, 17 categorized as good. At the second meeting the percentage of students’ activities increased as 12, 5% became 91, 7% categorized as very good. However, students’ achievement also increased. The basic score of daily examination as 7, 93% which 23 students passed and 13 students failed. The ending of daily examination was 63, 89% and the average was 74, 17% on the passing grade. The second daily examination also increased from basic score as 18, 03% which 30 students passed and 6 students failed. The ending of second daily examination was 83, 33% and the average was 81, 11%. Based on the explanation above it can be concluded that the implementation learning through Cooperative Script increased learning process in social lesson of students IVB grade of State Elementary School 146 Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research was to determine community structure of pollinator insects in fruit garden Agribusiness Agriculture Faculty University of Riau in March to April 2015, for development of Student Worksheet (LKS) interactions the ecosystem concept. The research was conducted with 2 phases of field research and the development of learning worksheets. Determining the location of the observation by purposive sampling to establish the location of the observation at 5 fruit garden Agribusiness Agriculture Faculty University of Riau. Biological parameters observed that the abundance of species, dominance index and preferences visits, while the environmental physical parameters include temperature, humidity and light intensity. The results showed the highest relative abundance is Apis cerana, insect pollinators dominance index was low (0,189 to 0,363) and the highest preference insect pollinators in the afternoon (15:00 to 17:00). Results of research for the development of learning materials LKS interactions the ecosystem in class X SMA. Keywords: Community structure, Insect pollinators, Student Worksheet

Abstract

Abstarck : This was a classroom research (PTK) which has two cycles which was conducted on April 24th to May 5nd 2015. The data shown the either learning process increased. The basic score of daily examination as 11,92% which 24 students passed and 8 students failed. The ending of daily examination was 75%  and the average was 77,34% on the passing grade. The second daily examination also increased from basic score as 17,12% which 28 students passed and 4 students failed. The ending of second daily examination was 87,5% and the average was 80,93%. Based on the explanation above it can be concluded that the implementation of problem based learning increased students’ achievement the  result of social studies of students IV grade of State Elementary School 178 Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract : The problems underlying this study is the low of student’s ability in Arts and Culture and Skills. This research aims to improve basic motion skills in teaching Zapin dance in study of Arts and Culture and Skills for IV grade students at SDN 97 Pekanbaru through the application of drill method. Subjects in this study were fourth grade students of SDN 97 Pekanbaru. Based on the analysis of the data shows the average value of the teacher’s activities on the first meeting of the first cycle was 56.25, and 68.75 for the second meeting. The first meeting of the second cycle increased to 75 and the second meeting of the second cycle becomes 87.5. While the percentage of students meeting the activity of the first cycle of the first 50%, at the second meeting increased to 62.5%, in the first meeting of the second cycle increased to 68.75%, and at the second meeting of the second cycle increased to 81.25%. Judging from preliminary data are still many students who have not reached the standard of skills in performing basic motion zapin dance with the number of students who are categorized less skilled amounted to 9 students (30%), skilled enough 17 students (56.67%) while students are considered skilled 4 students (13,33) with an average value of 49.9. After the implementation of the drill method, at the end of the first cycle of students who are skilled as many as 14 people (46.6%) and skilled enough 11 people (36.6%) and less skilled 5 students (16.66%) with the average classical value 58, while the final value of the second cycle students who are highly skilled totaling 14 students (46.6%), skilled 15 students (50%), and only one skilled enough students (3, 3%) with the average value increased to 78.8 of the first cycle. Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that the application of the drill method can improve the basic skills of movement zapin dance for fourth grade students of SDN 97 Pekanbaru is acceptable. Abstract

Abstract : The problem underlying this study is the low student learning outcomes in social studies class IV C Elementary School 163 Pekanbaru . This research shaped Classroom Action Research ( CAR), which aims to improve student learning outcomes IPS Elementary School fourth grade C 163 Pekanbaru through the strategy map concept . Map concept as defined by Martin concrete illustrations that indicate how a single concept - linked kekonsep other concepts in the same category . By mastering the concept of the students acquire a broad knowledge . This study was conducted from April to May The subjects were students of class IV C Elementary School 163 Pekanbaru the number of students as many as 37 people . Data collection instruments in this research is the teacher and student activity sheets and achievement test . This study analyzed data on student learning outcomes obtained from daily tests I and II . In the daily test I obtained average is 67.56 students . In the second daily test scores obtained by the students as much as 74.72 . Daily test results of students in comparison with a base score before the study is 60.54 . Judging from the base score percentages improving student learning outcomes at the first daily test is 11 % and the daily test II is 23 % . Teacher and student activity data obtained by observation sheet teachers and students . Teacher activity increased at each cycle , the average activity of teachers in the first cycle is 75 % and increased in the second cycle into 90.62 % . While the student activity observed with the student activity sheet also increased at each cycle , the average score of student activity cycle 1 is 57.5 % increase in the second cycle is 82.5 % . From the above analysis of the research data it is known that the application of learning strategies concept maps can enhance students' learning outcomes IPS Elementary School fourth grade C 163 Pekanbaru . Thus the research hypothesis is proven .Keywords : Strategy Map concept . Learning Outcomes IPS .

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to improve the speaking ability of the first year students by using Digital Storytelling-Photostory Computer Application in comprehending the descriptive texts. This is an experimental research with one pre-post test design. The population of the research is the first year students of SMK Darel Hikmah Pekanbaru with 21 samples. To collect the data, the writer administered the pre test, treatments, and the post test at end of the session. In analyzing the data, the t- test formula was used to determine whether the technique applied can significantly increase the students’ speaking ability. From the data collected, it can be seen that the average score of pre test is 64.6. Upon the implementation of digital storytelling, there is a significant increase on students’ scores. It can be seen from the result of post-test. The average score of the post-test is 76.8. The score also reveals that the students have achieved the minimum mastery criteria required by the school. To sum up, digital storytelling-photostory computer application has significantly increase the speaking ability of the first year students of SMK Darel Hikmah Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract : Research on the application of cooperative learning model Quick On The Draw has been conducted to improve student learning achievement on the topic stoichiometry at class X SMAN 1 Kampar Kiri. This research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The sample took in the               20 January – 26 February 2013. The sample consisted of two classes, X2 class as experimental class and X3 class as control class. Experimental Class is the class with cooperative learning model Quick On The Draw and Control Class is the class with no cooperative learning model Quick On The Draw. Analyze of data by used t-test formula. Result of data processing obtained tcount>ttable is 2,622 > 1,67. It means that the application of cooperative learning model Quick On The Draw can improve student achievement on the topic redoks at class X SMAN 1 Kampar Kiri. The category of the increasing learning achievement in experiment group included into high level by the normalized score gain (N – gain) was 0.73. Abstract

ABSTRACT : The identification of the problem revealed that one of the factors that influence the speed of the half-moon kick unsatisfactory not related to the leg muscle strength. The aim of this study to assess the contribution of the leg muscle strength at the speed of the crescent kick martial arts extracurricular student SMAN 2 Mining District Kampar.Jenis determine this research is correlational with a population of male students extracurricular Pencak Silat 2 Mine SMA Kampar regency of 20 people. This sampling technique is total sampling, thus reducing the number of samples in this study were 20 persons.From the analysis of the data is one of the data does not show a normal distribution, so that the correlation formula used is Lansiers correlation. From the calculation, it is known that there is a significant correlation between the variables x and y variables. based on the results of this study concluded that there is a significant correlation between the legs with a leg muscle rate half staircase, where the level of α = 00:05 obtained t = 2.97> t table = 2.10 The so Ho rejected and Ha accepted. Relationship variable X to Y vairabel be categorized and 0573 obtained count r> r table = 0.450. Keywords: leg muscle strength, speed crescent kick, martial arts

Abstract

Abstract The problems raised in this research is the effect of the training Standing Iso Toe Raise against the muscles strength in men’s volleyball SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. The research aims to determine the effect of Standing Iso Toe Raise against the muscles strength in men’s volleyball SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru.These research is experimental. The research was conducted in Pekanbaru SMK Negeri 5. The sample of this study of 12 people. Data were collected through the initial test and final test leg with leg muscle strength dynamometer . The data were analyzed comperatif, then further research is done to test the hypothesis that has been asked in the problem, namely: there are Standing Iso Toe Raise training effect on leg muscles strength SMK  Negeri 5 men’s volleyball team  Pekanbaru.Based on t test analysis produces large thitung 5,02 and as much as 1,796 ttabel. Means thitung > ttabel. It can be concluded that Ho denied and Ha accepted. It can be concluded that there is no significant effect of the training Body Standing Iso Toe Raise leg muscle strength ( X ) leg muscles strength (Y ) In the men’s volleyball team SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine the effect of academic qualifications and the relevance of science in the professionalism of teachers of economic subjects SMAN in District Mandau. This research was conducted in the District Mandau UPTD and at SMAN in District Mandau from January to March 2015. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method. Population of 32 teachers and 32 teacher sample. Data collection instruments used were the documentation for the independent variables: academic qualifications (X1) and the relevance of science (X2); questionnaires were processed using Likert scale and scale Gutman for dependent variables: the professionalism of teachers (Y). Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression statistical techniques. From the results, it can be concluded that: (1) academic qualifications influence on the professionalism of teachers; (2) the relevance of the scientific effect on the professionalism of teachers; (3) the influence of academic qualifications and the relevance of science to professionalism amounted to 38.8 Key words : academic qualifications, scientific relevance, the professionalism of teachers.
