Abstract

ABSTRACT: This research based on literature. The Issues discussed is romanticism in song lyrics by Rossa. Assessment on the element of romanticism is irresistible study. A literature that tells of an event difficult released from the flow of romanticism. Romanticism was description or delineation of which give priority to the feeling was expressed through the event of affection, sacrifice, suffering, and happiness. The problems that interested the author of the analysis that is how is the romanticism that expresses compassion, sacrific, suffering, excitement Rossa song lyrics by using a method of descriptive. A source of data on this research is chosen album of Yang Terpilih and Harmoni Jalinan Nada dan Cerita by rossa. This research data of sentences that contain romanticism in song lyrics. Data collection of this research with engineering documentation or literature, the technique of reading, the technique of note, and techniques of identification. The data is then analyzed through technique descriptive qualitative analysis of each sentence is a load of romanticism found in song lyrics by rossa to be shown and reinforced with evidence. Of the two albums, there are 3 song is express romantic affection, 10 song that expresses the sacrifice of romanticism, 12 song which expresses the romanticism of suffering, and 5 song that express romantic excitement. Abstract

Abstract:This research aims to increase student achievement on the subject Atomic Structure in class X IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru.  This research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted in  SMA  Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. The samples of this research were the students of class X IPA 3 as the experimental class and  students of class X IPA 4 as  the control class. Experimental class is a class that is applied  the use of  Metode PQRST while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis of data obtained tarithmetic> ttable is 2,8284 > 1,67, means that the use of metode PQRST  can improve student achievement on the subject of atomic structure class X IPA SMA  Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru, increase learning of 11,2%. Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is the low students achievement on social studies IVB grade students of SDN 4 Pekanbaru with average 68,47 and clasical completeness 42,86% within Minimum Criteria Completeness (KKM) stipulated by schools is 75. The study is in the form of classroom action research (PTK) which aims to improve students achievement on social studies IVB SDN 4 Pekanbaru with the application of the approach Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). After applied the approach Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) increased student learning outcomes in UAS I with an average 70.71 with a large increase from basic score 3.27% with classical completeness amounted to 66.67% (not completed) the average UAS II was 81.90 with a large increase from basic score of 19.61% with classical completeness 85.72% (completed). The average percentage of the activity of teachers in the first cycle of the first meeting is 56.25% with sufficient category and then increased by 12.5% ​​in the second meeting be 68.75% with the good category. At the second cycle of the first meeting the average percentage of the activity of teachers increased by 6.25% to 75% with the good category and at the second meeting increased by 12.5% ​​to 87.5% with very good category. Besides the activity of students in the first cycle the first meeting with the average percentage was 56.25% with sufficient category increased by 6.25% in the second meeting to 62.5% with the good category. At the second cycle of the first meeting the average percentage of the activity of students increased by 12.5% ​​to 75% with the good category and at the second meeting increased by 12.5% ​​to 87.5% with very good category. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of the approach of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) can improve learning outcomes social studies IVB grade students of SDN 4 Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract:The problem in this research is the low student learning outcomes IPS, it is seen from the average value of students is 63.6. Of the 25 students who achieve grades above KKM (Minimum Criteria for completeness) only 11 students (44%), while students who have not reached the KKM as many as 14 students (56%), the value specified KKM is the problem 75. based on classroom action research needs to be done by applying the Problem Based Learning Model This study aims to improve learning outcomes IPS IVB grade students of SD Negeri 28 Pekanbaru Academic Year 2014/2015 the number of students as many as 25 people consisting of 13 male students and 12 students women. This study was conducted by two cycles. I cycle consists of three meetings, which is twice the face to face meetings and one final repetition of the cycle. Cycle II consists of three face-to-face meetings and one final repetition of the cycle. With the implementation of Problem Based Learning model, it can improve student learning outcomes IPS, it is seen from the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes on the basis that the score of 44% with an average of 63.6 increased in the first cycle with the average becomes 72.4 , In the cyclical II increased by average - 80 average. The percentage of teachers activity also increased, as seen from the percentage of teacher activity in the first cycle of 60% and a second meeting increased to 75% .Siklus II first meeting and the second meeting of the 85% increase to 90%. The percentage of student activity in the first cycle of 55% the second meeting increased to 70% in the first meeting of the second cycle of 80% and a second peretemuan increased again to 85% .From the above explanation can be seen that through the adoption of Problem Based Learning Model (PBM), can improve learning outcomes IPS fourth grade students of SD Negeri 28 B Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract: This research to improve the learning outcomes grade IV of SD Negeri 45 Pekanbaru through a scientific approach. Implementation of research in November 2014. The subjects were students grade IV of SD Negeri 45 Pekanbaru with 35 students. Minimum completeness criteria of SD Negeri 45 Pekanbaru is 75. Based on the first score, students who campleted is a 14 students ( 40 % ) and students who do not completed is a 21 students ( 60 % ) of the 35 students consisting of 18 female’s and 17 male’s. With an average of 71,00. The learning outcomes increase 5,83% for the first daily test with an average is 75,14 and 13,04% in daily test II with an average is 80,26. Researcher served observation sheets to observe the activities of teacher and student. The percentage of teachers activity in cycle I meeting I was 50 % and the meeting II is 60 %, in cycle II meeting I was 70 % and the meeting II is 80 % and percentage of students activity in cycle II meeting I was 50 % and the meeting II is 70 %, in cycle II meeting I was  75 % and meeting II is 95 %. The conclusion of research is the aplication of scientific approaches to improve learning outcomes of grade IV of SD Negeri 45 Pekanbaru in academic year of 2014/2015. Abstract

Abstract : This research was conducted to know whether there are effects of the attack exercise and defend the wicket against the dribble skills of the football game so that when doing the dribble get maximum results.This research used experimental research, with a population of football club athletes in SSB UR Pekanbaru, in this research, all population of the data 24 people. The instrument of this research used dribble test, which aims to measure the skills in dribble. After that, the data had been processed using statistics, to test normality was used the lilifors test at a significant level 0,05α. The hypotheses there are effects of the attack exercise and defend the wicket against the dribble skills. Based on the analysis of t-test was Tmean 7, 57 and Ttable 1,764, it means that Tmean>Ttable. Based on the analysis of data statistic, there is the average of pre-test was 19, 80 and the average of post-test was 19, 48, the data was normal. Based on the result of the data, it can be concluded that there was effects of the attack exercise and defend the wicket against the dribble skills on the football players in SSB UR Pekanbaru. Abstract: Ninik Mamak is the custom leader or the leader of tribe in KenagorianGunung Malelo who have important role in every tribe according to the role of customused in Kenagorian Gunung Malelo. The role Ninik Mamak can control the behavior ofniece and nephew and also village government policy. The purpose of this research is toknow how far the role of Ninik Mamak in Kenagorian Gunung Malelo. The researchinterview all of Ninik Mamak in Kenagorian Gunung Malelo that count nine personsand also to get the opinion of another persons (villagers leader) that connecting withresearch. The method that used in this research is historic research method. Directinterview to the respondent and than its made in sentences form according to the resultof interview. The result of research shown that the role of Ninik Mamak in KenagorianGunung Malelo suittble with them function and duty in low of custum used.Result of this research indicate that Ninik Mamak in Kenagorian Gunung Malelohave each role. This role divided into two form that is duty and function from eachevery the Ninik Mamak. Then in this role Ninik Mamak also have certain boundaries inthe duty and function. More circumstantial again also made balance to with people careabout role this Ninik Mamak in Kenagorian Gunung Malelo.Key words : The role, Ninik Mamak.

Abstract

Abstract: This study was about the ability of the third year students of SMAN 2  Pekanbaru in comprehending funny story. The objective of this study was to know how the ability of the third year students of SMAN 2 Pekanbaru in comprehending funny story is. This research was conducted at SMAN 2 Pekanbaru on October until November 2014. This is a desrciptive research. To get the data, the researcher gave a set of questions about comprehending funny story. The questions consisted of Finding factual information, finding main idea, guessing vocabulary in context, identifying references, and making interferences. After analyzing the data, the writer found that the mean of the students’ scores in finding factual information is 77, 05, finding main ideas is 80, 58, guessing vocabulary in context is 82, 94, identifying references is 69, 41, and making inferences is 84, 11. As a result there are 2 abilities in excellent level, 3 abilities in good level and the most difficult one is in identifying references and the easiest one is in making inferences. The mean of total score of the students ability in comprehending funny story is 76, 19. It means that the ability of the third year students of SMAN 2 Pekanbaru in comprehending funny story is in Good level. Keywords: Ability, Comprehending, funny story

Abstract

Abstract: Education is an important asset in the life of a society or a nation. Education is the gateway to the changes to be free from the shackles of ignorance, so that it can achieve an independent human being. Freedom from poverty, and ignorance, so that it can become an independent nation in social, economic, political, legal, and cultural. The development of education in Indonesia that progress can not be separated from the role of leaders and scholars who have contributed much thoughts and ideas of the diamond to education. One of the figures who took part in education is Tan Malaka. Tan Malaka background of a teacher and a revolutionary fighter offers an educational concept that is popular. The purpose of this study was to determine the life history of Tan Malaka, to know the views and thoughts of Tan Malaka in the field of education, to know the struggles of Tan Malaka in education and the obstacles faced by Tan Malaka in the fight for education. The research method used is the historical and descriptive methods. The aim is to reconstruct, analyze, evaluate, and explanation of evidence - evidence to get the facts reach conclusions that can be justified. The results showed that the concept of popular education Tan Malaka is based on the people, democracy and an attempt to liberate the people of Indonesia from the Dutch colonization. Educating students to think realistic, critical, dynamic, and logical, so can easily face the challenges of achieving independence era. Teach organization to establish a strong and confident personality in every way. Giving students the freedom to determine the attitudes, choices and take responsibility for his choice. Abstract

Abstract: This research has purpose to improve the ability of student in studying IPS by applying cooperative learning method called Jigsaw in fourth grader of SD Negeri 124 Pekanbaru. Jigsaw is a cooperative method, where the student will be put in groups consist of 4 up to 5 students. To learn the materials that are devided in to several parts for each member. This research was done in February until March in 2015. The subject of this research where the 4th year students of SD 124 Pekanbaru in academic year 2014/2015, whit the number of students was 26, they are 14 boys and 12 girls. The data of this research was the data about the result of teaching and learning with Jinsaw. The technic of data collection was done by doing observation and test, and the data analysis was done with descriptive analysis. The result of data analysis can be seen from the activities of the teacher during he teaching and learning processby applying cooperative method called Jingsaw. In the first cycle, the average is 79,16% which is included to “good” category. In the second cycle, there was improvement. The average was 87,5% which is categorized to “very good”. The standard score was 52,94% whit score 63,84% which is categorized “enough”. In the first cycle, it become 57,69% whit score 69,23. In the second one, it become  80,76% with score 78,26. There fore, it concludes that applying Jigsaw cooperative method can improve the ability of the 4th year studend of SD Negeri 124 Pekanbaru in learning IPS.
