Abstract

Abstract. The problem in this research is the ability to smash in volleyball men's SMP Negeri 3 Teluk Kuantan, allegedly because of the low strength of arm muscles. The purpose of this study was to know the effect of exercise ntuk Seated Triceps Extension on the arm and shoulder muscle strength in men's volleyball team at SMP Negeri 3 Teluk Kuantan. This type of research and engineering experimental research sample full (total sampling) with a sample size of 11 people. Data were collected through tests of muscle strength of arms and shoulders by using test Pull-Up. Data analysis using t test data normality test with lilifors techniques. Based on preliminary tests, the results of data analysis L0 max = 0.0345 with 0.05 L α table, then L0 max <Ltabel, 0.0345 <0.249. While the final test results obtained L0 max = 0.0578 with 0.05 L α table. Then L0 max <Ltabel, 0.0578 <0.249 with 10 df, and test hypotheses obtained t = 2.91, while table = 1,812. The conclusion of this study is there Effect Against exercise Seated Triceps Extension Arm and Shoulder Muscle Strength By Tim Volly Putra SMP Negeri 3 Teluk Kuantan.Key Words: Triceps Extension Seated Exercise and Muscle Strength Arm and Shoulder

Abstract

Abstract: The background in this research is the low social achievement of third grade students SDN 42 Pekanbaru. The KKM determined by the school is 73. Out of 36 students, only 14 students (38.88%) reach KKM and 22 students (61.12%) who have not reached KKM with grade 61.47 grade average. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of social achievement of third grade students SDN 42 Pekanbaru by applying cooperative type model of talking stick. This study presents the learning results obtained from daily test scores before the action with an average of 61.47 increased to 71.66 in cycle I, and increased again to 76.52 in cycle II. Teacher activity in the first cycle of the first meeting gained a percentage of the percentage of 66.66% good category, at the second meeting increased by the percentage of 75.00% with good category. Next cycle II first meeting of teacher activity also increase with percentage of 83,33% good category and at second meeting increase again with percentage equal to 91,67% very good category. While the activity of student in cycle I meeting one get percentage of student activity equal to 62,50% with less, at second meeting increase with percentage 75,00% with good category. Next on the second cycle of the first meeting of student activity increased with the percentage of 83.33% good category and at the second meeting increased with a very good 91.66% category percentage. Based on the results of this study, it can be proved that the appliement of cooperative type talking stick learning model to improve the learning student’s social subject learning result at third grade SDN 42 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Cooperative learning model type talking stick, learning outcomes social

Abstract

Abstract: Research on the application of cooperative learning model Active Knowledge Sharing has been conducted to improve student learning achievement on the topic Hidrokarbon at class X SMAN 1 Siak Hulu. This research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The sample took in the April – Mei 2016. The sample consisted of two classes, X1 class as experimental class and X3 class as control class. Experimental class is a class that is used cooperative learning model Active Knowledge Sharing, while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis of data obtained tarithmetic > ttable is 2,5 > 1,67 It means that the application of cooperative learning model Active Knowledge Sharing can improve student achievement on the topic Hidrokarbon at class X SMAN 1 Siak Hulu. The category of the increasing learning achievement in experiment group included into high level by the normalized score gain (N – gain) was 0.704.Keywords: cooperative learning, Active Knowledge Sharing, learning sachievement, Hidrokarbon

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research is to find out the correlation between reading comprehension and writing ability on descriptive texts of the second year students of SMA 2 Batam. The sample of this research was class XI IPA, which consist of 30 students. The data were collected by using two kinds of test, reading comprehension test and writing test. The result of this research showed that the second year students of SMAN 2 Batam got good level with the average score of 74.06 in reading comprehension and in writing test, the students got adequate level with average score 68.43. The result of this research proved that there is a positive correlation between reading comprehension and writing ability on descriptive texts. The rxy distribution of the coefficient correlation is 0.69. It means that the correlation was in moderate level. So, Ha (alternative hypothesis) of this research is accepted and null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. In other words, it can be concluded that this correlation cannot prove that students who are good in reading will also have the same ability in writing. This can be seen on the students’ score of reading and writing. There are some students who got good scores in reading test, but got bad scores in writing. There is a tendency where the students’ reading score was in accordance with their writing score and vice versa. Key Words: Correlation, Reading Comprehension, Writing Ability

Abstract

Abstract : This research was conducted because of the result of learning social study class III SDN 18 Balai Raja. From 22 Students who achieve KKm just 7 Students (31,81%) while students who didn’t complete 15 students (68,18%) with an average 60,18. The purpose of this research to inprove learning out comes IPS class III SDN 18 Balai Raja. with the application of learning models cooperative Snowball Throwing results obtained by the average value of 60,18 basic score in creased in the first cycle of 18,14% to 71,11 in the second cycle the average value of students also increased by 36,34% to 82,05 on the basic of completeness score IPS Student learning out comes is only 31,81% (finished). After the professor of applied learning model cooperative Snowball Throwing. In the first cycle classical completeness increased 71,11% (not finished), the second cycle of classical completeness obtained are increased to increased 82,05%. Activities of teacher at the first meeting of 58,3% with both categories. The second meeting increased to 79,1% in both categories. In the second cycle increased to 83,3% with the category very well. At a meeting of the second of the second cycle. The activities of teacher increased to 87,5% with the category very well. Activities of students in the first cycle of the fisrt meeting activity students acquire a percentage of 54,16% in both categories. The second meeting of the fisrt cycle to 70,3% inboth categories. At the first meeting of the second cycle of student activity increased to 83,3% with the category very well, and at the second meeting of the second cycleincreased again to 91,6% with the category very well.Key words : Snowbwll Throwing, learning outcomes IPS

Abstract

Abstract :The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes IPS Elementary School fourth grade students 140 Pekanbaru with the implementation of cooperative learning model Numbered Head Together (NHT). The subjects in this study were fourth grade students of State Elementary School 140 Pekanbaru, the number of students 21 people, where men and women a total of 11 people were 10 people.The techniques of collectiont data in this study is the observation and tests. Results of research and discussion in this study shows that the learning process by implementing cooperative learning model Numbered Head Together can increase the activity of teachers and students in learning activities, where the first meeting of the first cycle of teacher activity percentage is only 65.00%. At the second meeting of the first cycle increased to 72.50%. Then in the third meeting of the second cycle increased to 90.00% and the fourth meeting of the second cycle increased be 97.50%. While the activities of students at the first meeting of the first cycle percentage is only 62.50%. At the second meeting increased be 67.50%. Then in the third meeting of the second cycle increased to 80.00% and the fourth meeting of the second cycle increased be 92.50%. The implementation of cooperative learning model Numbered Head Together can improve learning outcomes IPS Elementary School fourth grade students 140 Pekanbaru, where the base score average value of student learning outcomes is only 60.61%. Then in the second cycle increased to 66.6%7, an increase of 9.82% and in the second cycle increased to 75.24%, an increase of 23.93%. In addition, the thoroughness of student learning outcomes in classical also increased, where the base score of students who pass classically only 47.62%, on a daily tests first cycle increased to 66.67% an increase of 19.05%, and at the second cycle replicates the percentage of students in classical learning completeness increased to 80.95%, an increase of 14.28%.Keywords: NHT type cooperative learning, learning outcomes

Abstract: This research i s motivated by the role of women in rice farmingwhich is generally carried out by men but not in the intersection village where the task of taking care of rice farming in the Simpang Kubu village is the role and responsibility of women. The formulation of the problem of this research is "What is the communityperception about the role of women farmers in Simpang Kubu Village, Kampar District, Kampar Regency". the purpose of this study was to "To find out how people's perceptions about the role of women far mers in Simpang Kubu Village, Kampar Regency". Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive qualitative methods. The results in this study are people's per ceptions about the role of women farmers both in their roles in the family and in agriculture are good or are considered normal and are common in the community.Key Words : Community Perception, Role and Women

Abstract

ABSTRACT, The background of the problem in this study is that not all students of SMAN 1 Kubu can get target the long jump result has been specified. This problem can be seen from the observation of researchers during a lesson at school, it is suspected because of explosive power leg muscle and running speed of 40 m. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a contribution explosive power legs muscle and running speed of 40 m with the long jump results of students at SMAN 1 Kubu. This type of research is correlational comparing the measurement results of two different variables in order to determine the degree of correlation between these variables. As independent variables (X1) is explosive power leg muscle, (X2) running speed of 40 m while the dependent variable (Y) is long jump result. The research data was obtained from the standing broad jump test, a running of 40 m test and long jump result test squat style. Based on the research results can be concluded as follows: From the results obtained explosive power legs muscles had significant corelation with the long jump result students SMA Negeri 1 Kubu, characterized by the results obtained by the rhitung> rtabel, and has a contribution of 29%. Furthermore, from the results obtained 40M running speed had significant corelation with the long jump result students SMA Negeri 1 Kubu, characterized by the results obtained by the rhitung> rtabel, and has a contribution of 17%. Overall, there is a significant corelation between explosive power legs muscles and speed running 40 M with the long jump result students SMA Negeri 1 Kubu, characterized by the results obtained rhitung> rtabel, and has a contribution of 28%.Keywords : Explosive Power Legs Muscles, Running Speed 40 m, Long Jump

Abstract

Abstract: This study was aimed at finding out the ability of the second year students of MTs Thamrin Yahya in comprehending English texts; they are Descriptive text, Narrative text and Recount text. The researcher used cluster random sampling technique to determine the sample. The samples were 30second year students. The data were taken from the students’ scores in comprehending English Texts. To collect the data, the researcher constructed 30 questions to measure the students’ ability in comprehending English texts. The time allocation was 60 minutes. The result of the study revealed that the students’ mean score was 64.4 which indicated that the students were in good level of ability. The highest mean score was in finding meaning of difficult words and in finding types of text with the mean score of 66.7. The lowest mean score was in finding inferences with the means score of 51.13. Keywords: Students’ ability, Reading, Comprehension, English Texts

Abstract

ABSTRACT Purpose of this study was to examine the ability of the pronunciation of the phoneme /N/ in Japanese language students of Riau University. Phoneme /N/ produce different sounds, depending on what vowels and consonants accompanying before and after. Data analysis was done by collecting the pronunciation of the phoneme /N/ to serve targeted students and the data analyzed.Based on study results, authors concluded that the pronunciation of the phoneme /N/ influenced by the pronunciation habits and meeting phoneme /N/ with accompanying phoneme. Keywords:Phonemes, Pronunciation Habits
