Abstract

Abstract: This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve the learning process and improve student’s mathematic learning achievements. The researcher applied cooperative learning model structural approach of Numbered Heads Together at class VIII5 of SMP Negeri 17 Pekanbaru, academic year 2018/2019. The cooperative learning model structural approach of Numbered Heads Together employs students identification numbers to increase student’s sense of responsibility during the learning process. Data collection instrument in this study is observational activity sheets teachers and students, as well as math achievement tests. Sheet observations were analyzed using descriptive narrative, while math achievement tests will be analyzed using descriptive statistics. The descriptive analysis of the narrative is shown that the learning process of refinement occurs before action cycle I and cycle II. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning mathematics about knowledge of the basic score (34,2 %) to the first test (57,9 %) to the second test II (78,9 %). For the skills of basic score (13,2 %) to the first test (21,1 %) to the second test (31,6 %). Based on these findings it can be concluded that the application of the cooperative learning model structural approach Numbered Heads Together at class VIII5 SMP Negeri 17 Pekanbaru can improve the learning process and improve mathematic learning achievements of students in the subject matter of circle academic year 2018/2019.Key Words : Mathematic Learning Achievements, Cooperative Learning Model Structural Approach of Numbered Heads Together, Class Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find out the improvement of 5-6-year old children gross motor ability at RA Kurnia Panam by using traditional game hopscotch. This research was a classroom action research which was conducted in two cycles. The instrument used was the observation sheet form. The total sample was 14 children that consist of 8 boys and 6 girls. Based on the analysis of the assessment process, there was an improvement in those two cycles.The research results were very satisfying because there were significant average scores improvement before the treatment from the first cycle to the second cycle. The improvement of the average scores was from 38,92 to 50,59 with the percentage 29,98 % and from 50,59% to 70,7% with the percentage 39,77 %. It can be concluded that the learning process by using traditional game have positive effects for children and it can improve the children motor ability.

Abstract

Abstract: In the traditional view, women are identical as weak, delicate and emotional. Along with the emancipation movement more and more women can appear at the forefront as leaders who were previously dominated by men. Many efforts have been made by Riau women leaders to promote their fellow human beings. One of them is Hj. Roslaini who seeks to advance women through various women's organizations in Riau. The purpose of this study is 1) to find out the life history of Hj. Roslaini, 2) to find out the role of Hj. Roslaini in empowering woman at Riau, 3) to find out the challenges faced by Hj. Roslaini in empowering women at Riau, 4) to find out the existence of Hj. Roslaini at empowering woman right now. The research uses the historical method and data obtained from the interviews plus data obtained from books and archives. The results of this study Hj. Roslaini was born on September 27, 1938 in Pasir Pengaraian from the couple Djadin bin Pinang and Baiyah binti M. Karim. Hj. Roslaini became active in women's organizations in 1970, through these organizations Hj. Roslaini seeks to empower women. The organization that had been followed by Hj. Roslaini is PERTIWI, Dharma Wanita, PKK, BKOW, BKKKS, BKMT, Pusdatin Puanri and PRBF. In an effort to empower women Hj. Roslaini has the challenge of managing members of her organization, lack of understanding and concern for women in education and health, lack of women's self-confidence and people's perspectives on abilities. Now in his old age Hj. Roslaini still serves as chair of the PRBF and advisor to women's organizations.Key Words: Hj. Roslaini, Riau Women's Empowerment, Role

Abstract

Abstract : Based on the researcher’s of student in grade V of 001 Langgam Primary School, research found some student have not mastered the basic techniques of sprinting 40 meters with good, like start or finish, the students feel tired while sprinting. The purpose of this research is to see how much the correlations of exsplosive power leg muscles with 40 meter run result of student in grade V of 001 langgam primary school of pelalawan regency. Population in this research were all students in grade V of 001 Langgam Primary School who were 26 people. Based on population that is not so large and within the limits the researchers set the whole population is used as a sample. The research sample as many as 26 people. Research instrument used vertical jump test and 40 meters running speed test. Data were analyzed by product moment correlation. Based on research results, it can be concluded as follows : Shows that there is corelations of explosive power leg muscle with the 40 meter running speed of male student which shows correlation rhitung =0,631> rtabel =0,602 and there is no corelations of explosive power leg muscle with the 40 meter running speed of female student which shows correlation rhitung =0,006> rtabel =0,553Key word : explosive power leg muscles, 40 yard running

Abstract

Abstract: Students physical fitness is important to be well-maintained. To maintain physical fitness, the students are required to work out regularly and consume healthy meal balanced in quality and quantity. As a consequence of poor nutrition or food intake, most students are less enthusiastic, often yawning, and inactive to get involved to the teacher’s lessons of physical activities in field ground. This research aims to know whether there is a correlation between nutritional status and physical fitness of grade V students of SD Negeri 92 Pekanbaru. This research implemented body weight index by height test (BB/TB) and Harvard Step Test. In collecting samples, this research implemented total sampling to the population of 62 students of grade V SD Negeri 92 Pekanbaru. This research used correlation technique. Then, the data were examined using normality test and product moment correlation test. Normality test of variable X, L0max (0.093) < Ltable (0.112), and normality test of variable Y, L0max (0.073) < Ltabel (0.112). In other words, normal data range and conclusion of this research result a relation but insignificant between nutritional status and physical fitness with correlation rxy = 0.16 that is considered as very low range based on correlation coefficient table. Therefore, Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected.Keywords: Nutritional Status, Physical Fitness

Abstract

Abstract : This research is done by the cooperative of village unit (KUD) Setia Kawan with the aim to know the influence of service quality to the satisfaction of members of Village Village Cooperative (KUD) Setia Kawan Village Suka Damai Singingi Hilir Subdistrict Kuantan Singingi Regency. The population in this research is all members of village unit cooperative (KUD) Setia Kawan Desa Suka Damai which amounts to 604 members. Sampling in this study was obtained using the method simple random sampling of 86 people. Technique of collecting is done through questionnaire technique and using primary and secondary. The data were analyzed by hypothesis using simple linear regression, partial test (t test), Coefficient of Determination (R2). There are 2 variables, namely service quality and members satisfaction. This means that the independent variables together affect the dependent variable. Furthermore, based on partial test (t test) it can be seen that only service quality variables that affect members satisfaction is indicated by its significance 0,272 while other variables have no effect.Keywords: Service Quality, Members Satisfaction

Abstract

Abstract: based on the result of observation on the ability to know the concept of numbers of young learners has not developed optimally. So it is necessary to implement the activity play face number. The objective of this research is to find out the effect of play face number on the ability to know the concept of numbers of children age 4-5 years at pembina 3 kindergarten, pekanbaru with one group pretest posttest design is an experiment that do by one group only without comparison. The sample in this research are 15 young learners. The kind of the instrument that used in this research is observation sheet and documentation to noted about activities that happen during the treatment is given. Based on the result of hypothesis there is an effect of play face number on the ability to know the concept of numbers of children age 4-5 years at pembina 3 kindergarten, pekanbaru. The value of thitung is 11.129 with sig 0.000, because sig < 0.05 it can be concluded that there is a significant difference on the ability to know the concept of numbers of children age 4-5 years before and after applied play face number on the lesson. On the hypothesis it can be seen that thitung = 11.129> t table= 2.145. it can be concluded that there is siginificant different result between pretest and posttest. the effect of play face number on the ability to know the concept of numbers of children age 4-5 years at pembina 3 kindergarten, pekanbaru.Keywords: Play Face Number, The Concept Of Numbers.

Abstract

Abstarct: In this study described the meaning of the word kuubi (neck) which contains the meaning of figurative (metaphors and metonymys). Figurative meaning is a word or group of word that is not the true meaning, but to makes something up. In the figurative meaning there are various types of majas, one of them are metaphors and metonymys. Metaphor is a change of meaning of the equality of properties between two objects, while metonymy is a figuration which uses the feature or label and object to replace particular object. This research is a qualitative research with intralingual method. The theory used in this research is the theory of metaphor by Lakoff (1980) and Keraf (2006) and the theory of metonymy by Ullman (1997). The result of this research is found the meaning of word kubi (neck) which contains figurative mean as much as 12 data. 6 data including metaphor and 6 data including metonymy. The results of this study indicated that Japanese choose to use the word kubi (neck) in a sentences that contains figurative meaning which its mean related with the function of neck and associated with life and work.Keywords : Figurative Meanings, Kubi (Neck), Metaphor, Metonyms

Abstract

Abstract: Background of this research by the low results of social studies class III Sintong SDN 033, with an average grade 65.28. While the value of minimum completeness criteria (KKM) IPA is 70. Of the 18 students who completed only 6 people, while 12 others were incomplete. This study aims to improve learning outcomes IPS Class III students of SDN 033 Sintong. This research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted by two cycles and twice daily test (replications end of the cycle) to implement cooperative learning model NHT. The subjects were students of class III Elementary School Sintong 033, with the number of students as many as 18 people. Data collection instruments used were observation sheet activities of teacher and student activity and learning about the test results. Based on the analysis of research data after learning corrective action on the first cycle increased the average value of students increased to 69.44. In the second cycle increased again with the average value becomes 73.89. Activities teachers in the learning process also increased from 53.33% increase to 83.33% at the end of the cycle two. The increased activity of teachers also have an impact on student activity from data analysis activities of students in the first cycle the first meeting of 62.50% increased in the second meeting of the two cycles to 83.33%. Thus the results of this study indicate that the hypothesis is proven.Key Words: Cooperative NHT, learning outcomes IPS

Abstract

Abstract : The research about use of media monopoly game has been applied to improve students learning result on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X SMAN 3 Pekanbaru. Form of research is experiment research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of three classes, that is X1, X2, and X3. The sample used, that is X2 as experiment class and X1 as control class that randomly determined after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was given treatment with using media monopoly game while the control class without use media monopoly game. Analysis of data used t-test. Results of the analysis it was found that tscore > ttable (3,06 > 1,67), it means that the use of media monopoly game can improve students learning result on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X SMAN 3 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of students learning achievement in experiment class was high category (N-gain =0,75) and in control class was medium category (N-gain =0,69).Key Words : Media Monopoly Game, Learning Result, Hydrocarbon
